DEMOCRATS MOBILIZING TO HIT NETWORKS IN THE POCKETBOOK

A group of Democrats are mobilizing to hit the networks, who have publicly and openly shunned and abused Hillary for Obama’s sake despite gross differences in qualifications for the President position. The group is calling for all women involved to write to advertisers on the stations that should they not remove the advertising content, we will boycott their products.
This campaign will start June 23rd and will go on until advertisers will start pulling their advertising. Following are some companies which presently run advertising on NBC.

Hey, when they started to treat Sen. Clinton nice for a week back in March, We did a boycott against GE products in February and GE stocks fell..so they began to treat Sen Clinton right. All the lunch pale democrats at my company knew about my passion for Hillary. I took time to talk politics with them and to get them involved politically. It was shocking for them to see how little their vote counted and what a sham the Caucus was up here in Washington State.
Our company is an Obama free zone. We are united against him and that counts for about 100 votes.
In elections that means the Obama needs to find 200 votes to make up for the loss.

Been watching those infomercials again about Lakefront properties and thinking that’s the way rich people live?
While I agree that, in principle, this withholding of patronizing is necessary in order to be heard - I already stopped watching both NBC and MSNBC, and the products and services of companies who advertised on specific shows I found most offensive in their coverage of Senator Clinton’s candidacy - I want to be sure that, I don’t inadvertently punish any advertiser not responsible for supporting the likes of KO; CM; and AM. I have this concern. Are you proposing that we target advertisers whose products appeared on air during certain shows, in a discreet period of time? Some companies may have already pulled their ads (presumably as the result of complaints from consumers like me)and should not continue to bear the brunt of their previous indiscretions.
After watching this site with several others for the last few months,( and with the help of others who have also been watching,) its clear what this site is all about. Your fake love for the Clintons was confusing at first, and seemed so real! Your hate for the Obama family was hiding your real hate for the Clintons. We believe your real intentions were to want Hillery to run against McCain, hoping John could beat her.

Parties are irrelevant; the character of the candidates and the experience of the candidates is what counts. No question that the only thing Obama has going for him is the party push - oh and the race thing the party is pushing.
Not the fault of the voters if they have to choose among two weak candidates. If the parties put up better candidates and stood back and let the voters decide instead of trying to control what we do, the whole country would benefit. WASHINGTON — Pitching himself to voters as a centrist candidate with a slight adjustment to the left who appeals to both sides of the political aisle and is a prototypical outsider is going to be a tough sell for Barack Obama who has supported his party’s line for the two years he has been in the Senate and is advised by leading insiders.
His economic mantra of readjusting the nation’s incomes to soak the rich and help the middle and lower classes through government spending is pure liberal dogma. It is the solution to our economic ills that the Democratic Party has espoused since Franklin Roosevelt. There is nothing wrong with that if one believes it will work except that it has been roundly rejected in the last 50 years or so of presidential elections.
Obama would make sure everyone had health care at taxpayer expense. He would raise the capital gains tax and up the corporate and individual income taxes for the “wealthy” and slow down if not end trade agreements in an effort to protect American labor despite the fact these alliances work. He is calling for a $50 billion economic stimulus plan that would include rebate checks for the unemployed and health care subsidies paid for by the above mentioned tax increases. So much for “Mr. Down the Middle.”
But that doesn’t seem to be all that may not be quite as the presumptive Democratic nominee likes to portray. On the same news pages that reported on Obama’s economic proposals were stories about his connections to Capitol insiders like controversial former Fannie Mae chief executive James Johnson, belying somewhat the image of the consummate outsider he used effectively in his campaign for “change” against Hillary Clinton. He now hopes to hang the same tag on Republican John McCain, a 26-year veteran of Washington maneuvering.
Johnson, a long time political mover and shaker, was helping Obama choose a suitable running mate. Just coincidentally he has served on several corporate boards that have settled lavish pay on their chief executive officers, a practice Obama has tried to stop with legislation. Johnson resigned his Obama duties after his role was exposed.
Well, welcome to the real campaign, Sen. Obama.
Running against Washington is an approach that by the narrowest of margins won the presidency for Jimmy Carter, the first chief executive elected from the South since the Civil War. But Carter found he could not sustain that image during a one-term tenure that was marred by ineffectiveness. McCain’s backers answer repeated Obama charges that McCain is running for President Bush’s third term by contending that Obama is running for Carter’s second.
Obviously Republicans are going to challenge the outsider image and begin a vetting process that will attempt to turn any negative nugget into a boulder as they have done with Johnson. But they also must worry about a backlash that paints them and the party as unreconstructed in matters of race. As for Obama, he will have difficulty running a racially neutral campaign on the one hand while appealing to his black constituency on the other.
The contrast between the two candidates could not be sharper. In age and appearance alone there never has been a larger difference. They are also strikingly dissimilar in the way they can be expected to approach the campaign and then the job each wants. Obama contends he would have voted against the Iraq war resolution had he been in the Senate while McCain, who voted for it, defends the war policy. McCain’s economic positions are for lower capital gains, tax cut stimulation and a variety of other proposals that are diametrically the opposite of Obama’s.
But the task of maintaining his primary image as an independent facilitator of a kinder, gentler, more civil and inclusive approach to governance is going to be difficult for Obama to sustain. Certainly he would like to have the benefit of the doubt about that and on other issues the national press has given him. That dispensation isn’t likely to be granted now by a press that finally has become embarrassed by its deference to him, as the Johnson stories attest.
Probably the most prominent question in the next few months is whether Obama is as anti-establishmentarian as he has portrays himself. It remains to be seen whether his contention that he is reaching out to everyone from the center of the road is for real or just another attempt by a savvy politician to package old ideas in new wrapping.
Boycotts work. Corporations are all about the $$$. And there is nothing wrong with that.
Opposition voting works. Politicians are all about votes. Just say no to Obama, and no to the Pelosis, Deans and Kerrys and other Super idots who trashed Hillary.
It will work and it will bring back Hillary stronger than ever.

Obama has always gotten his political marching orders from the Daley Political machine. Now he gets orders from Daley, Axelrod, Plouffe, Pelosi and Dean. And Obama is such a weak headed stooge he is overjoyed to do it.

I am calling all of the advertisers listed under the one message. I do not watch CNN, MSNBC, etc. I am no longer watching the Daily Show because I think even Jon Stewart was unfair (he made more fun of Hillary than Barack and McCain put together) - and basically, his show is getting old.
These shows were not only unfair but abusive to women. Let’s do our best to have an impact by boycotting the products and the various news networks. I’ll go with Bloomberg News and the Discovery Channel.

I think Howard Dean, Nacy Pelosi, Bill Richardson, and others in the Democreatic party have been unfair but I am not so worried about Hillary Clinton, she can handle anything that comes her way. I believe they were unfair and dismissive (and I emphasize the word dismissive) of the millions of voters wanting Hillary Clinton to run the county!
Are we so easily dismissed? I hope not, my disappointment for what has been, and my passion for what should be, will not end before the elections in November.
It is not that I want to “carry a grudge”, it is more that I want to make a difference!!
And oh by the way, pollsters. I am highly educated, upper middle class, and I believe every one’s vote should have counted.

I meant to say I will be watching Bloomberg News and the Discovery Channel and we want Hillary to run the Country not the “county” - I hope all of you who might read my message understands what I meant - my first time on a blog.
I would like to see an all out boycott of GE and all its subsideraries, can someone find out all the other channels, companies it owns?
I know GE owns the History Channel and Lifetime, not sure about Discovery. But they also own other companies under different names, so let’s boycott EVERYTHING GE to really make a statement.
I know there was a real ruckus at the last GE stockholders’ meeting because the stockholders found out that GE was selling to Iran through its European companies, that was on TV.
So can we find out ALL they own, so we can really boycott them in a significant way? I will do my part and spread the word loud and clear, just don’t know how to read through the corporate maze to find out just how far ingrained into our world they really are.

I have already started boycotting GE and the advertisers on Oprah..she can ‘happy dance’ for BO all she wants but millions of viewers will be just as glad to ‘happy dance’ away from her show and magazine. Lets impact their bottom line. GO PUMA!!!
