Now, for the story from Steve Clemons …
Patti Solis Doyle allegedly bred a lot of ill will inside the campaign among staffers. Many Clinton aides talked about how she had a wall erected between herself and the rest of the campaign staff in Iowa. Others who had been around for Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign talked about how Patti Solis Doyle had shut down the campaign office for two full days in order to watch the collected DVD set of “Grey’s Anatomy.” I’m not kidding.

Well, while we’re there, let’s read those three rules that Doyle’s replacement enacted immediately:
1. Be respectful of your fellow staff members — generous in spirit, positive, constructive.
2. Return all phone calls — even if you have to return them at night when you know the other person won’t be in. Return every single one.
3. Feel empowered to share your ideas for the campaign. Send them to [me], Howard Wolfson, anyone. We want your ideas and want to hear from you.

I don’t know how anyone one will take this move but it sure seems to me that Patti Solis Doyle was the fly in the ointment in the Clinton camp.
It now comes out that she was friends with Axelrod for years, man this is sure looking as if she was in the Clinton camp but letting little bits and pieces out there to the Obama camp, no wonder she got laid off when she did.
Now I guess Obama is rewarding her for a inside job well done on Hillary, seems to me Hillary had a lot of rats on board her ship and she did not know.
Actually, it is looking more and more like the Democratic party is made up entirely of rats. I think both Hillary and Bill were blindsided and frankly their only recourse is to leave the party and join another or start one from scratch. I think that whether or not Obama wins or loses Hillary will be completely marginalized in the next Congressional session to the point that she’ll be ineffective. Whatever they are feeding her to get her to sit down is nothing but lies.
When/If Obama loses she’ll get the blame. Their media mouthpieces will shout it out over and over and over like a broken record. I am very demoralized that the democratic party is full of so many duplicitous, on the take hacks. People have been telling me for years that there is no difference between the Republicans and the Dems since they are all corrupt. Now I think we can officially say those folks were correct.
It is becoming clearer and clearer to me why Hillary was totally unacceptable. She is honest and would do the right thing. How could the corrupt permit the election of someone honest? They certainly couldn’t. Obama certainly was selected well in advance.

I didn’t want Hillary to run as an Independent but now I truly think she and Bill should start a new party. There are plenty who would jump aboard.
For years, I supported the Democratic Party blindly, through thick and thin, thinking that at the very least, they held the moral high ground.
After the shenanigans we have all witnessed, that is over. I have no reason to remain loyal to people who behave in such a cowardly and duplicitous fashion.
Bill and Hillary Clinton have been kicked out of the Democrat Party — they and WE should take the hint and start another truly Democratic Party.
The majority of Americans are moderates in the middle. Moderate Democrats have far more in common with Moderate Republicans then either the extreme right or extreme left.
We’ve watched as Clinton racked up win after win in the MUST win swing states and the Big States with large numbers working class democrats. Her wins were ignored, scored and minimized by the DNC and media. She won the POPULAR vote. Her voters (that would be us) have been ignored and trivialized.
Obama has been claiming that he won since the CAUCUS in Iowa. WE know how undemocratic and unrepresentative the caucus results are. Obama believes he was going to win — because he knew from the beginning that the whole damn Primary crap-ola had been rigged by Howie Dean and Donna is a racist Brazile etc. Obama even called the Governor of Pennsylvania and announced that he — Obama — was the nominee.
It matters not at all to the DNC & Howie Dean that Obama LOST — the guy is a loser and he WILL lose the General Election to McCain.
In spite of a mole — Ms. Doyle — running Clinton’s campaign — and a hostile media — Clinton WON.

I think he is showing his hand and flaunting it to Hillary. It is a tit for tat hiring for Doyle helping derail Clinton’s chances. It also is a move generated to insure that Clinton does not accept the VP slot that many people are pushing for. Clinton obviously knows the score about Doyle. If she didn’t before she does now. I think the big problem for Obama is that having Clinton run on the ticket is probably his only hope of even being competitive in the fall. Obviously, he isn’t concerned about winning or losing (probably understands he has no chance). He is setting things up for 2012.

A few weeks prior, I was with Obama during a swing through New Hampshire, where he rented a Sunseeker RV, loaded up his wife and two little girls, and “vacationed” in the state’s scenic North Country, all the while being trailed by a busload of photographers and reporters, numerous staff vehicles, and half a dozen Secret Service agents. Despite the phoniness of the trip, there was one candid moment that ever so slightly suggests the distance Obama may need to come in winning over the beer drinkers. We stopped at a picturesque redbrick general store—“America’s oldest”—to photograph Obama and his family as they bought sandwiches and fudge and played with a puppy. As Obama stood at the counter paying, he looked quizzically at a display of trailer-hitch covers dressed in the guise of moose and turkeys. Turning to the phalanx of cameramen and reporters, Obama bravely wondered, “Who knows what a hitch ball is? This is a hitch-ball cover. We don’t know what a hitch ball is. Anybody know?” A cameraman politely explained that it’s the silver thing on the back of a truck used to tow a trailer. “Oh, I see,” Obama said, looking as if he was doing a mental calculation about whether this was one of those moments the press would use to make it seem like he’s out of touch.

Politico reports that Jodie Evans, the founder of Code Pink, has joined Team Obama as a bundler. She has pledged to raise at least $50,000 to elect Barack Obama to the White House. However, she has a long history of making controversial statements that may overshadow the campaign itself — including some apologetics for 9/11:
According to research being circulated by GOP sources, Evans has a record of inflammatory statements such as saying that women were better off in Iraq under Saddam Hussein, “Men are dying in their Hummers in Iraq so you can drive around in yours” and, my favorite, that the invasion of Iraq amounted to “global testosterone poisoning.”
Evans, though, is not just a single-issue crusader. She’s worked in politics and liberal causes for decades, including stints working for Jerry Brown during his years as governor and in his 1992 White House run.
Evans may have made controversial statements in the past, but that won’t hold a candle to the statements she made on a radio show called “The Conscience of Kansas”. Paul Ibbetson spoke with Evans about the 9/11 attacks, and …. well, listen for yourself:
Ibbetson tries to explain that we hadn’t done anything to provoke the 9/11 attacks by saying we hadn’t invaded Afghanistan. Evans replies that we were in Saudi Arabia, which to her gave al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden a rational reason to kill thousands of Americans in terrorist attacks. Note that she says, “I don’t think any terrorist attack is justified,” and then says we should listen to Osama bin Laden and change our policies because — “Sometimes, it would be a good idea to listen to why someone is trying to blow you up”.
Q: Do you think that’s a valid argument?
A: Sure. Why do we have bases in the Middle East?
Does Barack Obama share these views with his new bundler and the founder of Code Pink? Does he also feel that we should heed Osama bin Laden’s speeches and adjust our policies in the Middle East accordingly? If Evans represents the kind of people Obama wants to attract to his campaign, that says quite a bit about his approach to terrorism and the defense of American interests in the Middle East.

What does this say about judgment?

I am a member of several pro Hillary groups, and most of us will vote McCain if Hillary is not the nominee in August. We encourage Hillary to go Independent; or suggest McCain seek her for the VP slot for a true bi-partisan ticket with two truly great Americans. You know I think the truth about the democrats is pretty simple. They want to sing their high ideals and lofty rhetoric loudly and proudly but they aren’t the least bit interested in actually implementing any of it in a reasonable, prudent manner. To do so would be really dangerous, what if it didn’t work? What if their ideas turned out to be, …. gasp……….wrong. Can’t have that can we? In essense, they talk a good game but are chicken shit when it comes time to walk the walk. That is why they hate Bill and Hillary. Neither are afraid to put their money where their mouth is. Both are pragmatists that aren’t as bound by pure idealism as much as they want something that will help the country.
Is the Obama Campaign giving the Democratic Party to K Street?
June 15, 2008 (LPAC)–Reports are pouring in from Democratic Party activists and Hillary Clinton supporters all over the country, about an ongoing attempted purge of the Democratic National Committee, state party organizations, and even the Obama campaign itself. It seems that Obama campaign godfather and former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) is running a house-cleaning, that is hopelessly splitting the Democratic Party. One Democratic member of Congress bitterly complained to LPAC representatives, attending the California Democratic Party Executive Board meeting this weekend, that some of Senator Obama’s staunchest supporters among African-American elected officials, are now being isolated from the presumed Democratic nominee, and are even being purged from the campaign organization. “The old Democratic establishment has moved in, and totally taken over.”
These reports prompted Lyndon LaRouche to ask: “Is Tom Daschle out to turn over the entire Democratic Party to his friends on K Street–even at the expense of winning the elections in November? They seem to be thoroughly undeterred by the potential consequences of their own behavior. It is stunning.”
Since he was voted out of office in Nov. 2004, Tom Daschle has been a fixture, along with his wife, among the notorious K Street lobbyists. K Street NW in Washington, D.C. is the home to all of the big lobbying firms, representing corporate interests, Wall Street, and foreign governments. In Jan. 2005, Daschle went to work for the K Street law firm, Alston and Bird, where former Republican Presidential candidate Bob Dole already worked at a reported annual salary of $1 million. Among her major clients are Boeing, United Technologies, American Airlines, Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals and the American Trucking Association.
At the weekend state Democratic Party convention in Washington State, and at the California Executive Board meeting, the pattern was overwhelming: Clinton delegates were shunned aside, harassed by Obama national campaign operatives, and basically told that they were not welcome. Any talk of “party unity” is pure fiction, one delegate after another complained to LPAC organizers. Top party officials confirmed that the Obama campaign and the DNC are being “cleansed” of all Hillary Clinton loyalists, and Howard Dean has personally let it be known that he intends to prevent a roll call vote at the Convention in Denver in late August, which would demonstrate the still-strong support that Senator Clinton enjoys among a vast number of Democrats. Traditionally, all major presidential pre-candidates address the convention, and a roll call vote is taken, before the winning candidate is annointed. “If Howard Dean could prevent Hillary Clinton from attending the convention in Denver, he would,” one top Clinton supporter reported.
Lyndon LaRouche warned, in a series of public statements, following the end of the Democratic primaries, that the outrageous behavior by Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Daschle, and Al Gore, is going to “turn Hillary Clinton supporters into Hillary Clinton fanatics.”

Face it, its bigger than Hillary folks, she’s just the first major casualty on the path towards tyranny.
And Hillary, she’s not coming back. She knows her goose is cooked politically with this regime change.
He’s missing the real problem. The outrageous behavior will turn otherwise loyal Democrats away from the party. It’s no longer about Hillary Clinton. It’s about the continuing divisive, dismissive tactics. It’s about poor judgment by a major candidate and about the underhanded tactics to appoint him by party functionaries determined to brainwash the public into voting for him. Apparently, party leaders are certain he couldn’t win on his merits.
It’s about the willingness of half of our two party system to literally turn back the clock on women’s rights. And then they try to scare us with Roe v Wade? HAH I’m sure that when they stop vilifying Clinton for being female (never) that they will then turn right around and embrace feminism and respect the rest of the female population. Just keep drinking that koolaid. It seems to me that the black candidate understands the concept of tokenism better than anyone and is using it with women on his campaign. We would expect better if he were elected as president? What planet are Obots living on?
LaRouche is right about one thing. The outrageous behavior has turned many of us into fanatics.

Do you think as I do, that Gores endorsment of Obama at this late stage, on a Monday night, with a kind of strange tone and feel to his speach was weird? It came off really spooky to me. I don’t think Gore can help Obama anyway - I think the democratic party is starting to feel the heat coming up from below and they are going to pay a heavy price for the cheating and backward way they stole this nomination for Obama. Could you believe that Gore actually said that we believe in elections when so many party democrats have been saying elections don’t count that the party chooses it’s candidate we don’t elect them. My vote doesn’t count! That is what I was told by DEMOCRATS. Well they can’t have my vote now or in November. They are grasping at straws now having Gore come out and personally having it in Michigan with GORE of all people in Michigan only ads insult to injury. I’m not a Democrat myself, I agree with those who recognized that Hillary was treated with great disrespect by the Democrats during the primary.
I’m always perplexed by this victory vs. defeat theme in Obama supporters’ postings.
The point of the Dem nomination fight is not to dominate or defeat an enemy. The idea is that none of us are smarter than all of us. We get together to pick a candidate. It should never be treated as a winner take all proposition.
To be fair, Clinton and Obama both ran good and bad campaigns for different reasons. They both received approximately half the votes and half the pledged delegates. To paint Obama’s victory (yes, I’ll say he won) as a repudiation of some sort of evil is just ridiculous.
Even some small concessions from Obama would probably be ebough to bring the entire Democratic party together.
I personally, despite being active in Democratic politics my entire life, believe that John McCain will be a far better President than Obama. For that reason, I’m delighted that the Obama team’s refusal to be gracious will cost him the election.

If the obamaton detects a statement which is negative or even neutral regarding Obama, the obamaton will respond by shrieking “RACIST!” repeatedly. Obamatons are only found online. Yeswecans: Hailing from the make-believe land of Yesweca, these Obama supporters live in a fantasy world. In that world, Obama can heal the sick, stop wars by waving his hand, fly, summon unicorns, and coat the landscape with Obama-rectal derived pixie dust. When they are suddenly torn from their parallel dimension and thrown into our world, (known as reality), they tend to exhibit wild mood swings and the negative behaviors which often accompany them. For the most part, they have a surreally optimistic view of Obama and bubble with enthusiasm. However, when confronted with Obama’s mortal enemies, facts and logic, they will lash out in defense of their deity. There have been many speculations as to the true nature of Yeswecans. Some opine that Yeswecans are best understood as cultists, (see: The Church of Obamism), while still others suggest the root to be a mental disorder, (see: Obamitis). Regardless of the cause, Yeswecans can be extremely dangerous and should be avoided whenever possible.
Obamelites: They’ve turned politics into a business and Obama is their cash cow. A number of super-delegates fit this mold. They generally cluster around Obama in a protective swarm and rarely consort with the “little” people. They are almost never seen in public but often on TV. Because of their rarity in public, they are not much of a threat in terms of individual controntation. But regarding the power they intend to wield as a bludgeon, they have great potential to damage America as a whole. In addition, they are known to betray former supporters/supportees on the turn of a dime, or, perhaps more accurately, in exchange for a dime. They should never be trusted.
Under normal circumstances, I would not assume that anyone reaches an opinion through a character flaw or extreme ignorance. But Obama supporters are an exception. Obama supporters continually slander and verbally bully those who dare to think differently than they. That is a clear indication of a character flaw. Obama supporters often know much less about their own candidate (not to mention history and geography) than the average person on the street that doesn’t even follow politics.

An interesting article listed at realclearpolitics by Pat Buchanan, regarding his take on a new censorship. I don’t find myself agreeing very often with Mr. Buchanan, but his beef with the powers that be is something you’ll only find on the pro-Hillary or anti-Obama blogs. Don’t know if anyone in Obama’s camp is complaining about their treatment in press, but I haven’t seen it. Anyway, here’s the link if you’re interested:

Yes, I find that too, after years of buying the DNC party line, I’ve started listening to other voices. At this point, I’d even consider voting for Newt … anybody but Obama. I never thought I’d say anything like this but since I left my party, I feel more freedom.

I believe all supporters of HRC should take a second look at any thought of supporting obama. First reason I will not support obama is the way he and his campaign and many in the whoremedia decided to play the race card and then blamed HRC and Bill. I will wait with baited breath to hear obama apologize to both Clintons, but it will not be forthcoming. Now we have a suspected mole in the HRC campaign with this Solis Doyle person and with obama’s campaing placing her in the VP vetting slot, this is a slap in the face to all HRC supporters as it is a sign that HRC will not be asked to take the VP position.
With obama saying he can win the white house without florida and ohio I say try it and if obama thinks he can win MS. GA. NC. SC. with its huge AA vote, will not happen.
I thought it was appalling when some of the Obama supporters booed when they heard Hillarys name during Al Gores endorsement of Barry.
The Solis-Doyle affair shows that BO isn’t even interested in pretending that he wants to mend fences or that he needs the support of Clinton voters. Incredibly arrogant! Main stream media is playing this incident as a poke in Clinton’s eye. Strange that they even understand that. Maybe someday they’ll realize what an utter jerk he is and that they have been played for fools.
What will her job be, to keep the Obama campaign informed on what’s going on Days of Our Lives and the Young And The Restless?

I am mystified actually why we would care so much what this woman does. After all, she is a political operative.
These people live for elections and they only happen every four years. There are limited candidates and limitless people vying for the same job.
Very much like MSM jobs, yes?
So an election operative like a news host, will end up in one of two categories:
1. Principled people who wash out and forgotten quickly
2. Whores to their jobs.
I say that you can’t be successful in either job without becoming a whore to your job — meaning you will do whatever it takes to get the job and will go further to keep it after tasting fame and money.
So Patti is doing what Patti does. She is a woman in a tough and competitive field. Is she wrong? You bet. Is she being used? Without a doubt.
But she has a job. And if Barry becomes president, she will eat for a long time to come.
I think it is wrong to expect snakes to act like bunnies while they are hunting.
Ms. Solis will get her just desserts eventually. It never fails. The Universe does not run on our wishes — it works on a delicate balance of action and reaction.
Wish her luck. She will need it.
I think naming PSD to this position was the rudest thing the Obama campaign could do to Hillary Clinton. They really are scummy people.
And I guess they really don’t want our votes!
