NObama mentions two instances where Obama gave Hillary and her supporters "the finger". But the Obambi did it literally the day after his pathetic loss in the Pa. Debate, he went on stage whined about "hillary throwing the kitchen sink at me last night..." and then he gave her the "flip-off"! He raised his mid-finger and the YouTube mega-hit:

'OBAMA GIVES HILLARY THE FINGER' was born. Obama clearly is a juvenile, disrespectful to his female felllow senator politico who has no manners and--nobody calls him on the carpet for it! He gets away with giving Hillary and her supporers and the whole country the finger (20 years) and he's escaping scot-free!

Come november, the 18 million cracks will expolode on his smug, arrogant empty resume. And the bitter voters will make sure he goes back to Kenya to assist his Sharia-Law cousin Odinga there to treat women exactly the way Barrack likes to treat them...What a fraudster from Chicago.

And he stole the election in Chicago from Sen. alice Palmer. Sen. Palmer supported Hillary. That's how this thug got ahead! Stealing nominations from women!

You know when you think about it, why does the Obama camp think everyone needs to endorse him...or should I say why is Obama forcing everyone to endorse him?

So you call someone who has always voted Democratic and plans to vote for more Democratic than Republican this year to be a Republican? Strange definition.

Actually, Gore endorsed Dean in Dec 2003, CNN Link here: http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/12/09/elec04.prez.gore.dean/

He's a Democrat, he endorsed the nominee in 2004, Kerry. He's endorsing the nominee in 2008. Seems pretty logical, what would you have him do? Endorse somebody who has dropped out of the election?

How about basing it on the fact that most people here plan to vote for the Republican in the most important election in a generation? Sorry, but this is a Republican site, period.

Teak,

I admit that I felt the same way Pagan Power did on Monday. Heartbreak and betrayal doesn't even begin to cover it. I'm composing a letter...it's just taking me some time. I want to make certain that I have said EVERYTHING that needs to be said.

This is the Al Gore that I believed in.

"Restoring the Rule of Law"
http://www.acslaw.org/node/2096

It's the video of the speech he gave at the DAR Constitution Hall on Jan. 16, 2006. I believed in his passion and his commitment. This speech is what has kept me going for the past several years. Every time I felt "defeated" or "emotionally spent" I would listen to it. It gave me comfort knowing that there WAS someone out there who cared about this country and might be in the position to do something about it.

Talk about AN ASSAULT ON REASON!!! Geesh...

PS- Will be seeing my Uncle in several days. I'm still anxious to hear his take on Odinga. I'll keep in touch.

Some people will devour any piece of crap piled in front of them. Fortunately, I'm not one of those people.

Interesting how Little Lord Obama can't "bump" his national lead, yet the states he needs SUDDENLY swing in his favor.

Sure. Whatever.

I believe in my own version of the "three strikes" law -- three strikes and you're forever dead to me.

Al Gore's three strikes:

1) Shunning Bill Clinton during his 2000 run for the presidency.

2) Endorsing that idiot Howard Dean in 2004.

3) Endorsing the flawed, light-weight Barack Obama in 2008.

How could anyone trust his judgment on anything anymore?

Cognitive Dissonance - When mental constructs conflict, a person will redefine or ignore one of them so as to reduce the conflict. Gore and possibly other DNC leaders are being held hostage by the African-American 'thing'. The historical nature of Mr. Obama. The vaguely worded threats of violence against media outlets, the Denver convention, and other public interests. They really have no choice and in a case where the desire to avoid conflagration (mental construct 1) and the desire to undo white guilt (mental construct 2) come into conflict with the desire for truth and democracy (mental construct 3), the constructs with the biggest fear factor (1 and 2) win.

PaganPower; Al Gore was choking on the words as he said them. So no, you were not alone in the seeing the hypocrisy.

It does not bode well for BO. Gore? He is off in his own world and not once did HE mention Senator Clinton.

His silence is telling. And so the lemmings continue to gather for annual November run off the proverbial cliff. No parachutes required or wanted.

I did not find Gore's endorsement surprising. He waited until the end then supported the winner. I am sure he wants the Democrats to win back the presidency and would have backed Hillary in the same way.
If he had come out for Obama earlier, then I would have been angry with him, but by waiting he stayed neutral and let the voters decide.

Please evrybody send Al Gore your emails and let him know what you think. I'd like his email box to be swamped. Here's his address:

AlGore@algore.com

and here's a copy of an email I sent to him.

I'm one of your longtime supporters, Al. I voted for you in my state's primary when you first ran for president back in the 80s. I supported you right from the beginning to the bitter end in the 2000 election.
I'm sorry to disappoint you now, but I think the Democratic Party has lost its moral compass this primary season. The DNC stupidly threw out millions of their own voters; in other words millions of babies out with the bathwater. I live in New Hampshire, but my mother (a lifelong Democrat) lives in Florida. She's not half a person. To punish Dems for what the Republican legislature did is absurd. Now the DNC says they'll seat half the Florida delegates. THE DAMAGE HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE, AND THE DNC KNOWS IT. The remedy was way too little; way too late. I'm totally disgusted with the Democratic Party. How dare they give all the Uncommitted votes in Michigan to someone who, of his own volition, took his name off the ballot. Those Uncommitted voters should be represented at the convention by Uncommitted delegates. The DNC made itself into a big Enabler for Sen. Obama. This is entitlement run amok.
One final note: the Democratic Party has taken its women voters for granted far too long. NO MORE. Iron your own shirts. Good luck in the general election.

p.s. How did Senator Obama vote on Cheney's 2005 Energy bill?

gore is just another politican. will we ever learn. i speak for me here also. yup he did whimp out on florida. he made made decisions first with brazile, holy joe, and then how florida was handled. he should have asked for a recount of the state. he would probably have gotten it, however! i respect his stand on global warming, but here is what i think. the democrats are full of hot air and false self righteousness. they are pigs at the dinner table just like repubs. mark my words! in two years we will despise them as much as repubs. please disagree and give me a reason to be wrong. i hope you prove me wrong.

Obama has proven to be untrustworthy so often that it just is getting trite to point it out. I presume that his supporters are so cynical that they do not even expect politicians to do anything other than lie, lie, lie.

Too bad....that's a deep-seated cynicism that will only reinforce to politicians that it's OK to have pretend elections, make phony promises, and manipulate the voters.

Not me. I'm a bit of an Annie Oakley type, though. I'm more optimistic than that.

I honestly do believe we could have real change if we insisted upon it.

That will be my message and my vote this year.

We ARE the ones WE have been waiting for....people who insist on accountability, real transparency, and a true discussion of issues.

Obama just opted out of the public campaign finance system, after saying he would participate. He will be the first candidate to run an entire campaign on private funds since Watergate.

Obama had made a commitment to use Public Campaign financing. On March 1, 2007, Obama's campaign spokesperson, Bill Burton said, "If Senator Obama is the nominee, he will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election," according to the Associated Press.

A coalition of campaign-finance advocacy groups have written Obama a letter earlier this year holding him to his pledge.

So much for Obama's word. He will say and do whatever he needs to to get elected. This isn't change.

What a profound disappointment. I responded to Gore's written request for funds with a note that we can no longer support someone, or their cause, who endorses a candidate that is a racist and sexist.

This election cycle has put the dem elites in a whole new light. Too bad Al Gore's personal issues with the Clintons has blinded him to the folly of endorsing this incompetent and shameful nominee.
