Make Way for the King! Stand Aside!
By ProudMilitaryMom on June 19, 2008 at 7:25 AM in Current Affairs
I followed a link at No Quarter to an article by John Heilemann at New York magazine. The article is an interesting take on what Hillary has gained in ‘losing’ the nomination. (Note: She has NOT lost, there is no nominee until the delegates vote in Denver — anything can happen between now and then — such as common sense breaking out!)
When I clicked on the link, I certainly did not expect to see on the first page of the article the following quote-
When the chat is over and the nominee strides toward the freight elevator to make his exit, his Secret Service agents brusquely shoo away Clinton’s aides: “Stand aside for Senator Obama! Make way for Senator Obama!”
Whoa! Now what is that all about? I have been to my fair share of political events — rallies, protests, town hall meetings and legislative hearings and never, not once, has a politician been treated like royalty. This is, after all, the United States of America and even politicians are, after all is said and done, just Americans. Sure, the Secret Service has a job to do protecting the selectee, but this is beyond the pale. Make way???? What in God’s name do people think Obama is — the king?
Reality check, people- Obama is nothing but another politician running for office. Stand aside??? STAND ASIDE?????? Well given that the DNC, the bots and the media have been screaming and screeching for Hillary to step aside for months now I can see where the guards got the idea.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry! This is a farce! Coward Dean hand picks the least electable candidate in American history and the DNC by way of “THE RULES” committee anoints him! If it wasn’t so scary it would be laughable!
Only one problem Mr. Dean (and you too Barky!) See, there are whole lot of us “bitter” type voters who WILL NOT stand aside or make way for an illegitimate candidate. Nope, I will not “stand aside”, nor will I “make way.” I am standing up for my country, for my candidate. I am standing in your way, Sen. Obama and there are millions of us. Annoying, us peasants, aren’t we?? Especially when we believe in Democracy, the kind of Democracy where every vote counts. We are not as “low-information” as you and the press like to paint us.
We have the information, sirs, as does the RNC. We know who you are and what you are trying to do to our party and our country. We WILL NOT stand aside!
PUMA!

You must not have attended many events. This is quite normal. The Secret Service always clears the area.
This site has just gotten a big one-two punch:
The jab was the “whitey tape” that Larry promised but never delivered.
The knockout was Larry Johnson’s press conference where his lawyer showed up wearing a skirt, and Larry babbled for an hour about brain tumors while the press gallery didn’t even bother to suppress their laughter.
TKO.
Larry, the above is an Obama-paid Troll. They are on stand-by to be the first to post. To either discredit the piece, or to hijack the diary by creating a discordant thread.
These first posts should really be deleted. They make it unpleasant for everyone.
Larry Johnson’s press conference????
Are ALL Obama trolls retarded?
Sure seems so.
LOL you are perhaps the most ignorant of all the TROLLZ we have seen here lately
and that says a LOT
good luck spreading that smear around nitwit
you seem obsessed with Sinclair??
hmmmm interesting…….
PMM posted her article at 7:25 and Mr. troll/mole jerk-off Democrat posted at 7:25.
Give me a break here. Does this person sit at his computer every minute of the day, ready to pounce on NQ or does he have some other connections?
They’re paid. And it really gets annoying are sock puppets. when you make a post, and within 5 seconds, 15 snotty comments appear.
Once you recognize the names, just skip on by. Not even worth reading.
I have never heard a security guard to tell people make ways!! Obambi thinks he is a king and media has treated him that way! To me , average folks, he is mr. nobody, for real. Tell me what he has done to make him some body!!
was he wearing a bowtie???
just askin!!!!
Seems not to be the case, Dem.
One of the subjective warning signs (psychoproprioception) of being wrong (and who doesn’t HATE that) is needing to make excuse after excuse after having come up with explanation after explanation after explanation.
Think about it. Being wrong isn’t all that bad. It’s something of an acquired taste and it has a payoff: learning.
Here is another Obambi’s lies..NEWS>>
Obama promised to take public financing. Now, he’s broken the promise using weak excuses like the RNC has more money and those evil 527’s will come after him as if there are no 527’s on the Democratic side. I don’t remember hearing that Obama told MoveOn.org to cool it. I guess those 527’s are good 527’s. So much for the reformer, the new politician. What a hypocrite and so are his supporters who are willing to overlook Obama’s broken promise to win.

STAND ASIDE! OBAMA TROLLS HAVE ARRIVED! STAND ASIDE FOR THE CULT MEMBERS! CLEAR THE AREA FOR THE KING AND HIS TROLLS!
Usually Halle Berry is there to pick the paper cups off the ground to clear the way for Obama.

Sounds like standard operating procedure for the Secret Service. What events have you attended?
The Fascist Campaign evolves:
Obama’s campaign tightens control of image and access
By Jim Rutenberg and Jeff Zeleny Published: June 19, 2008
At a rally for Senator Barack Obama in Detroit on Monday, two Muslim women said they were prohibited from sitting behind the candidate because they were wearing head scarves and campaign volunteers did not want them to appear with him in news photographs or live television coverage.
The Obama campaign is vigilantly fighting erroneous information that has spread on the Internet that he is Muslim — he is, in fact, Christian — and emphasizing his patriotism and American story, with flags in abundance. [THEY HAVE NO SHAME]
The campaign on Monday barred cameras from a large gathering of African-American civic leaders Obama attended. It recently refused to provide names of religious figures with whom Obama met in Chicago and directed some of them to avoid reporters by using a special exit. And on Wednesday, the campaign orchestrated Michelle Obama’s appearance on the friendly set of “The View” and a flattering spread in the pages of Us Weekly.
“One of the challenges that we are confronting very directly is dealing with the rumors and the e-mails, the inaccurate information about Senator Obama and Michelle Obama,” Dunn said, “and we’re going to deal with that very aggressively through a number of mediums.”
[SO THEY RESTRICT PRESS ACCESS TO EVENTS WHILE ON THE OTHER HAND THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE TO FIGHT RUMORS]
[HERE COMES THE BIG LIE. FIRST THE SETUP]
“This guy is one of two people who can be president of the United States,” said Stuart Stevens, a Republican strategist for Bush in his 2000 and 2004 campaigns. “He’s not going door-to door-in Iowa anymore, and I think people expect things to be different when you’re the nominee.”
[HERE IS THE LIE]
“The same with John McCain — he’s not going to be able to spend as much time in living rooms,” Stevens said. “It’s just the nature of the game changing.”
But McCain’s campaign has been faulted for being too lax in protecting his image, facing specific criticism for his prime-time speech before a relatively small crowd and an odd green backdrop the night Obama claimed his party’s nomination. Yet while McCain’s aides have had their share of skirmishes with the press, they still enjoy a reputation for giving reporters traveling with him an unusual amount of access.

Kind of like when he refused to have a photo taken with the mayor of San Fran. The guy wants to pretend he cares about everybody but all he cares about is not getting any of his own crap on him. Nobody, but nobody knows this man’s plans for America, except for his Hopey Changey line. He talks about everything that’s wrong but he offers snowballs in the summertime. They melt right in your hand! Just like his other Axelrod creation, the dismal failure Deval Patrick.
I don’t trust this man as far as I can throw him.
His campaign know very well who Obama is , and what they know is not very attractive. They are selling to American people an image that is totally flawed! This is unamerican and people will not vote for this guy.
Okay, so now the manner in which a Secret Service agent does his job constitutes pro-Obama, anti-Hillary bias? Every day I check in on NQ to see what inane triviality will be brought forth to justify this site’s rather odd view of reality. Yesterday it was a foreign policy advisor’s use of a children’s story metaphor which somehow demonstrated the candidate’s naivete. Today we are to be outraged — outraged, I tell you, never in all my years have I seen such outrageous conduct and disrespect — by the fact that a Secret Service guy sounded a bit brusque as he swept an area for the subject of his protection.
Priceless. Truly priceless.
The most astonishing thing about this site is its complete and utter and relentless focus on process and personality. Usually it’s the mainstream media that degrades our political campaigns with its focus on trivial personality analysis, gaffes and process. You guys and other anti-Obama uniquely to the blogosphere — have managed to top them. Every day, tens of thousands of words appear here, all focused on your hatred of a candidate, and none of that hatred is motivated by actual policy positions. Which is understandable, since Obama’s policy positions are virtually identical to Clinton’s.
Funny, and kind of sad.
Yes, you are sad. And not funny at all. Just go away and stay away if you don’t like what you read.
It’s still your right as an AMERICAN. Leave.
Go to Barry’s heavenly TUCC or Kenya, but feel free to leave.
Thankfully, it’s also my right as an American to criticize you. Feel free to ignore such criticism… or to urge the webmasters to reinstitute their ban on dissenting opinions.
Would that I had had the same freedoms at places like Dkos and myDD. I think it is extremely disingenuous of Obama supporters to come here and taut the first amendment. There are plenty of places you can go where I am not welcome. This is our place. A ban would be just fine with me and I would consider it poetic justice as a minimum.
Just as a side issue, the internet is not governed by the Constitution of the United States. It is a global environment for starters, and sites are governed by the people who privately own them. Kind of like your own private living room. In other words if you don’t want my posts at your site, that is your personal choice.
well it isnt your right if you are criticizing the ONE, not so Democratic anymore
imagine what we would have to look forward to, uhmmm nah Ill just vote for McCain
this way I can STILL FREELY dissent..something your candidate frowns on….
On the contrary.
The posts and comments at NO QUARTER bristle with links to articles, blogs, exposes, and videos that make it clear to a child that Obama is a complete fraud.
NO QUARTER rules.
NO QUARTER is Anti-Obama Central.
All the blogs and links and exposes lead to information about personality, scandal, gaffes and process. There is nothing here about Obama’s policy positions. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. The only policy rhetoric I have ever read on NQ involves his health care plan, which, because it doesn’t include mandates for every citizen, is therefore regarded here, absurdly, as a bad health care plan.
This paucity of policy debate is not surprising, of course, since Obama’s policy positions are virtually identical to Clinton’s, and he is the anti-christ, whereas she is the People’s Princess. LOL. You people are so silly. Yes, I know this is anti-Obama central. It makes interesting reading. It doesn’t mean, however, that any of this stuff makes any sense.
I think I see your confusion.
NO QUARTER is not about policy as much as process.
Obama is a cheat and a fraud who has no business running for President. In this context, any discussion of his alleged “policies” is absurd.
Yes, I understand. You people feel he has no business running for president. That much is apparent. However, he is now the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party, and unless something utterly unprecedented happens between now and August, he will soon be the official nominee of the Democratic Party. At that point, policy will become extremely important as every American considers whether to vote for Obama or McCain, because the two of them offer extremely different sets of policies. Obama’s policy positions are virtually identical to Hillary Clinton’s, and those of every other liberal Democrat in America. McCain’s are virtually identical to George W. Bush’s, and those of every other conservative Republican in the country.
That is my question to NQers: are you liberal Democrats or conservative Republicans?
Obama’s positions are not the same as Hillary’s.
We know Hillary’s positions.
Obama keeps changing like the weather, depending on his audience.
I. Do. Not. Trust. Obama.
Especially on matters of foreign policy and national security since he was too busy campaigning and fundraising for HIMSELF to do his Senate job and chair a hearing on Afghanistan.
Hillary is the only Dem to complain about Obama’s negligence on Afghanistan while Senate Dem leaders are quite happy to focus on Bush ignoring that country.
“American considers whether to vote for Obama or McCain, because the two of them offer extremely different sets of policies”
Obama has not done anything to prove to me that he will be able to do what he says he’ll do! His campaign is all about promises and just words! On the other hand, MacCain is more moderate than other republicans and can be more trusted. We loved him so much that we wanted to put him as he runningmate for kerry in 2004.
Neither. We are independent thinkers. The reason you read so little about Obama’s policies is that he changes them daily. Just this morning I read that he has now reniged on his promise to use public financing for the general election (link posted above). He changes his stance so frequently, we can’t keep up! The reason I come to No Quarter is that there are many intelligent people here that have thoroughly investigated Obama and Co. and have posted tons of documentation about his past, his associations, and yes – his policies.
BTW – the reason you think Obama’s policies are so similaar to Clintons is simple: he mimicks them constantly. Read through the archives here. You will soon discover that Obama has pretty much never voiced an original thought in his entire professional career.
yup….he’s now picked up her 2 brigades a month language. LOL*
yup also on the policy discussions. We do discuss them, but the discussion generaly revolve around how he flip-flopped today from yesterday’s position.
We call them obamagaffes. He calls them position clarifications.
He doesn’t have any real policy positions. His positions change to suit a particular audience; he steals policy points from Hillary, and now he’s using McCain’s position on Iraq as his own. And please don’t try and tell me he is strongly pro-choice or strongly for the environment; his many “present” votes on abortion as a state legislator and his vote for Cheney’s energy bill tell me otherwise.
Here’s one for you. Obama made a big issue out of campaign finance reform, promising to participate.
Today, he broke his first promise. (Not that any of us are surprised here. We have his number.)
Yesterday, he blew off NAFTA. (We TOLD you he was *winking*.
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/06/obama-to-break.html
Mr. Zebari said he was reassured by the candidate’s response, which caused him to think that Mr. Obama might not differ all that much from Mr. McCain:
I suppose the foreign minister is lying.
From Obama`s website:
Bringing Our Troops Home
Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months. Obama will make it clear that we will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. He will keep some troops in Iraq to protect our embassy and diplomats; if al Qaeda attempts to build a base within Iraq, he will keep troops in Iraq or elsewhere in the region to carry out targeted strikes on al Qaeda.
Message to Iraq:
Mr. Obama said that “if there would be a Democratic administration, it will not take any irresponsible, reckless, sudden decisions or action to endanger your gains, your achievements, your stability or security. Whatever decision he will reach will be made through close consultation with the Iraqi government and U.S. military commanders in the field.
Mr. Zebari`s response:
Mr. Zebari says he believes U.S. forces can and should be drawn down. His point is that reductions should be made gradually, as the Iraqi army becomes stronger. The foreign minister said “my message” to Mr. Obama “was very clear. . . . Really, we are making progress. I hope any actions you will take will not endanger this progress.” He said he was reassured by the candidate’s response, which caused him to think that Mr. Obama might not differ all that much from Mr. McCain.
try reading realclearpolitics.com where around a third of today’s articles were precisely doing that:
questioning Obama’s policies, etc.
go take a long look!
yep…..they are blasting him to high heaven.
What aggravates the hell out of me is that they didn’t do this in the primary. Course, a lot of those writers are conservatives.
They sure didn’t want to try to defeat Hillary. She made sense.
yes, but even The Nation (!!) is wondering about him…hmmm? is he really a progressive? Wake Up Everybody!
I’ve said that from day 1. Progressive my foot! LOL*
He’s just a man with a tan.
He’s running on personality and bullshit. His personality and bullshit are subject to criticism.
New Different Change seems to mean Imperious and High-handed. This is preposterous in some do-nothing nobody from a dirty, dirty town.
Does Obama have any policies? I have never heard of any, except the ones he stole from Hillary. Maybe that’s why you’re not finding them here or ANYWHERE…
He doesn’t need policies. Haven’t you heard? He’s cool.
virtually identical to Clinton’s
… so in a virtual reality this may be the case. However in the the “real” world the differences are striking.
If you are concerned about the policies of BO then bring them forward and then we can discuss them on their merits. The problem being that you will have to make clear the “when” of it, because the only consistent aspect of BO’s policy position is that they change for pandering winds. But please feel free to actually site any of his flip- flops and we can work them out.
Personally, I have enough Shubbery for the time being and will vote for McCain.
The anointed one, Obama, never really like to talk about policy, other than bombing Pakistan, as the good Brzezinski poodle he is, and what is essentially fascist economic policy of the new wave “nooge-enomics” of Chicago School adviser Austin Goolsbee, the Skull and Bonesman, the academic stand-in approved by George Soros and the bankrupt pirates of Wall Street of which Obama has no intention of taking on the speculators in the oil and food crisis, nor had he ever tried to do anything meaningful about the ‘foreclosure crisis’ to which he cynically laughed at the real pain that many American’s are facing in this economic hyper-inflationary depression.
Hillary was purposefully dumped by Wall Street because the Clinton’s may be rented but can not be bought. Clinton indeed ran a populist campaign on economics indeed invoking FDR in what is recognized as a authentic recognition of the disaster that American’s and the world are facing at this time.
Read OBAMA:The Postmodern Coup to get a critique of Obama from the true economic tradition of the left as found in FDR’s revival of the American System of political economics. Obama is far far from that, but rather represents a great danger because he has a popular movement and popular movements that are funded and promoted by powerful oligarchical factions, now the revival of the Rockefeller/Wall Street/Trilateralists with Brzezinski already influencing foreign policy and hitman Soros doing the dirty work in the Democratic party along with the whole SDS/Weatherman crowd which brought in Nixon as a reaction to such agent provocateur terror operations funded by the Ford Foundation, etc.
The danger of Obama is that he becomes the politically correct face that will implement the austerity measures dictated by Wall Street under the guise of global warming etc. His mass base followers become the storm troopers to enforce radical economic cuts against the population. Those who will be hurt are the poor and working poor, the old and very young.
Abroad look for O-Bomb-em to institute further attacks on Pakistan to destabilize this ally of
China. Wars in Africa with a draft to come, all under the cover of humanitarianism, but rather what you will be seeing is genocide fostered by what is in essence an new face of imperialism. Obama is an imperialist and this is the reality of this puppet of Brzezinski. What we will see and the ‘bomb Pakistan’ is proof is movement towards destabilization of Russia and China and the potential for war with these nations.
Obama is the wrong choice and the problem is that people have become fixated on his aura and magnetism without really questioning reality of
what he stands for which does require understanding those who have put him in the place he is now, and it is not the people.
“Every day, tens of thousands of words appear here, all focused on your hatred of a candidate, and none of that hatred is motivated by actual policy positions.”
Hey, that is not true. Many people including myself do not agree with some of Obama’s policies. Senator Clinton and Obama have similar postions on mnay issues but NOT ALL OF THEM.
What is sad is that people are not listneing. It is not all about personality. It is about Issues. Nothing sad about differing opinions. This is infact the USA.
I think it is sad that many people voted for Obama who don’t know where he stands on issues. They voted for him because of his race or his inpsirational talks.
The reality is as long as there has been voting e people vote for all sorts of reasons because the educational system does not stress critical thinking skills. You have people voting for looks and personality. This is on both sides of the isle But I repeat many who are not for Obama are not for him because of issue. I have seen posts on this iste that are issued oriented.
“They voted for him because of his race or his inpsirational talks.”
There goes that “projecting” again. Hillary made DIRECT APPEALS to women to vote for her because of her gender. “I’m Your Girl!” read one of her campaign buttons. “Help me break through the highest, hardest glass ceiling that there is,” she said on the stump.
Please, ma’am, don’t assume that others are as driven by identity politics as yourself.
projection.
Yeah. That.
LOL*……90% AA voter bloc? That turns an assumption into near-fact.
Amen, Ann!!
I’d say 90% of AA’s is the EPITOME of identity politics.
no all 90% voted the same because they loved his policies
Why you’re hear if you don’t like what you read?
GO AWAY!
You wouldn’t be saying this if you still lived in a democracy.
My “bitter, bible clinging, low information” grandparents from Missouri had Harry Truman as a guest in their home and say he was just like one of us. You remember your history, Truman survived an assassination attempt in 1950 and refused Secret Service protection after he left he White House and walked the streets of Independence without bodyguards until he died at age 88.
John McCain has stated emphatically
and he refused Secret Service protection in 2000.
Now that’s a point in McCain’s favor, he doesn’t want to be treated like a king. Sounds like he believes FDR when he said “the only thing to fear is fear itself”… wonder what Obama fears so much that Clinton aides have to “make way” for Obama because these people weren’t just members of the public shunted aside like you and me.
A Secret Service guy was sleeping at one event I was at, which is why I figure they wear the shades.
Years and years ago I dated an “advance man.” His opening lines were awful, but he sure knew how to advance beyond those …. and his daddy got him the job … LOL
Hahahahaaa! Those guys with the most pitiful opening lines are sometimes the greatest guys. Ya just got to look past the fumbling and bumbling.
Ouch! Bored and tired! Not a good thing.
Mr. Obama,
Don’t you know that you can’t run away from yourself?
Where ever you run, there you will be!

Silly Pooh!
I just received an email from the Democratic Party of Georgia explaining why they need my money and help to register NEW voters (yes that’s the strategy) to turn Georgia from red to blue. I responded as follows:
Matt Weyandt
email: matt@georgiademocrat.org
Executive Director
Democratic Party of Georgia
In response to your email asking for money and help in bolstering Obama’s position in Georgia:
I am one of those lifelong democrats that has been totally driven away from the party by the maneuvering of his campaign. As I wrote to Howard Dean, “I undertstand the importance of winning, but when you become a greater villian than your opponent all is lost.”
So, yes, you have lost me as a Democrat. Lost my support, lost my money and lost my faith.
Not only will you not get a penny from me, I’ve already contributed to John McCain’s campaign and have decided to actively campaign for him to help him defeat Obama here in Georgia. So do register all the new voters you can, I am counting on large numbers of my fellow long-time Georgia Democrats to cross over to offset your efforts. We’ll give you a run for your money here in Georga. I know its a state you need, so I will work even harder against you.
I hope and beleive the bullying of the Democratic Party will backfire and Democratic leaders will have a much deserved loss in the fall.
Not yours anymore, a democrat of 20 years,
We’re just OLD former Democrat voters. What would we know?
We’ve only watched the seemingly endless parade of posers and losers over the years now in the name of party unity support this crook Barack.
Well, I’m just glad that the Republicans picked the best candidate they had running. It will be so much easier to vote for him.
Yes, I’m a GA (former) democrat too, and I, plus many members of my family will cross over to vote for John McCain if nobama is the nominee.
I wonder if the lack of funds will force a change of heart and the party turns against Obama prior to the convention? Is there any historical precedent for anything like this? If I was an Obama supporter I would be very concerned. Hillary’s strategic retreat while retaining her delegates was a wise move.
LOL. Obama is the most prodigous fundraiser in the history of American politics. He sets records every single month — primarily through small online donations from a base of almost two million donors who will be able to continue giving him money straight through the election. Your notion that the Obama haters can affect this contest by withholding funds from the DNC is embarrassing in its naivete.
We shall see, we shall see.
Bullshit! His real money is coming from bundlers. Lobbyists are his friends. If we had a media that did more than kiss Obama’s ass, the whole country would know what a fraud he is.
Wrong. He and HRC both brought in huge money from bundlers, but bundlers tend to attract (”bundle”) large donors who give the maximum and then cannot give any more. Most of HRC’s primary funding came from bundlers, which is why she ran out of money so quickly. Obama, by contrast, got most of his money from small online donors — 1.5 million of them in the primaries, by far the largest such small donor base in the history of American politics. This is why he was able to dramatically outspend Senator Clinton during the last couple months of the primaries, and it is quite likely to give him a big financial advantage over McCain in the general.
This is the same remarkable campaign organization that brought in new voters in record numbers in the primary and will register record numbers of new voters — especially blacks and young voters — in swing states in the general.
You’re watching an historic blowout, folks. And if it is really true that most NQ readers began the primaries as Democrats, you should be happy about this once-in-a-generation liberal realignment.
outspend and under-perform!
awesome, NOT!
I’ve heard this line before; think it was in 04.
Your team should have picked a reputable candidate if you want to beat the Republican election machine that’s been perfecting the propaganda since 1980 because the whitewash is already peeling off Obama.
Patriot McCain does quite well against …. just what exactly does Obama have in his favor…there’s Rev. Wright’s God damn America…taking money from criminals….unrepentant domestic terrorists…taking a leave of absence from a a new job he’s failing at just to apply for a bigger and better one he’s not qualified for…some choice, isn’t it?
Factcheck.org and other sites have the rundown on Obama’s contribution network. He also had his site open to foreign countries. I saw this when I went to his site and have a screen shot. He did not ask whether the contributor was a US citizen.
The consensus I am getting, even from many young Obama supporters is that McCain will win in the end. These bright kids think Obama is a rock star but also say that a rock star can’t run a country. They have noticed the tigheting of his campaign, the smoke and mirrors, the continuos changing of his positions and are beginning to feel uncomfortable.
Most of them already know that SS etc. may not be around when they retire. They question the ability to pay for all the programs Obama is proposing and do not want to be taxed to death for programs that probably will not benefit them.
It is a person’s behavior, actions, deeds done and accomplished, and the company they keep and admire which tell a voter what kind of president they will make. Thus process and such are very important.
Clinton has worked hard and has a record to prove it, unlike Obama who (as stated by Jones) has been spoon fed much of the way and doesn’t have as accomplished and successful a record as Clinton. McCain has been proving himself longer. We know what he sacrificed and how he suffered for this country. A man who has gone through so much, and has sons in the war will be careful about making realistic decisions for the good of the country.
His wife has been deeply involved in truly helpful charities which help all people regardless of ethnic background.
She is currently in Viet Nam and then off to the UN. The campaign publicizes little of this but it is these things which underline the character of McCain.
Frankly, I’ve no dispute with your first two points.
As for “watching an historic blowout”…only time will tell.
IMO, such phrases have the patina of arrogance commonly associated with Obama supporters.
Furthermore, I resent being told how I should feel about “this once in a lifetime liberal realignment”. I happen to be the youngest child of an ardent FDR Democrat, is that liberal enough for you?
There’s no criteria for how any of us should feel.
Unless, of course you’re the thought. police.
If Obama is so flush with money, let him take care of the DNC. He moved it to Chicago, let Daley pony up to. He can also pay the 11 million they are behind on expenses at the convention site in Denver. Since the DNC
engineered the nomination for him, it seems only fair that all you Obama supporters should pay all the bills. I shared this with the
DNC when they called me asking for money.
Okay he doesn’t need our votes or our money. So why is hee asking for both?
Pre-Super Tuesday, Post Rev. Wright, Obambi hasn’t been doing too well. He has to bring out Gore, and you state to dredge of money. Rezko is in jail.
The Selected One is in deep kimchi.
He is asking for votes and money from all Americans, and he only needs enough Americans to say “Yes” to win the election. And he will win, handily. He only “doesn’t need” your votes and money in the sense that “your” refers to Obama haters on NQ and related sites, which constitutes an utterly miniscule, vanishly small portion of the overall population. You think your numbers are relevant. They are not. The vast majority of Hillary’s 18 million voters do not share NQ’s views. Most of them have already migrated into Obama’s camp. Many more of them will by November. No rational Democrat who believes in HRC’s political philosophy is going to vote for John McCain.
read the headlines: he (like HRC & Gore!) will win the popular vote & lose the election.
boo-hoo
Wrong. After only a few weeks as the presumptive nominee, he is now way ahead of McCain in PA, ahead in Michigan, and even leading — for the first time ever — in a couple polls out of Florida, which was supposed to be a lock for McCain.
You folks really don’t get it, do you? McCain is a weak candidate. He’s old, a lousy speaker, is inextricably tied to a failed president and a failed war, and represents a party in power during a time of economic problems. Millions more American call themselves Democrats now than call themselves Republicans. Young people, who are much more liberal and absolutely love Obama, comprise a larger portion of the electorate this year than they did in ‘04. Every single sign points to not just an Obama victory, but an Obama blowout.
Seriously: Obama is going to win this election, and he’s going to win easily. And you are seriously delusional if you believe otherwise.
Ah…..you’re poll-playing. Check the RCP site today.
RCP at this precise moment has Obama leading McCain in Wisconsin, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio, and within one point in Michigan and Nevada. They don’t mention Florida, but the last two polls I’ve seen both have Obama leading by 4 or 5. Obviously there’s a long way to go, but the NQ line that Obama is “unelectable” is absurd. At the moment, he is leading.
So was Michael Dukakis, by 17 points.
Know how that ended up?
You can not call an election a “win” if it is fixed. Look at all those dictators who “win” by landslides.
Seriously, it sounds like you are telling voters to not bother because the outcome is already determined. And considering that the “presumptive nominee” got that designation by his party snatching delegates from every other candidate in the primary to get him this far; the notion isn’t so far fetched considering the 2000 election that gave us Bush by Supreme Court decision. But that didn’t stop us so why would this little “fix” by those in charge of the Democratic Party persuade us to vote for Obama.
We also quarrel with your use of the word “presumptive” as we think the word that describes Candidate Obama is “presumptuous”.
What an assumption! Do you have statistical analysis that reflects how ALL Hillary supporters are going to vote??
Is Obama the only “rational” choice??
Do you believe that everyone voting for Obama is doing so on a principled, rational basis??
You are nothing if not supremely confident in your assertions, yet you express them so very, very arrogantly.
If you feel “the vast majority of Hillary’s 18 million voter’s do not share NQ’s views”, what the hell are you so worried about? Why even bother loitering around here?? What is it that irks you so much??
Oh, it’s the dissent stupid!
He needs the money so little that his campaign staffers are walking the streets of Manhattan asking for donations (like other religious cults do) and even taking credit card information as they have credit card machines with them.
How much of that money was Republican dollars? Now that they have the guy they know they can beat, they are not interested in throwing their good money after bad. Get a life. Wake up. Smell the day old coffee.
Small contributions…???? I don’t think so.
B U N D L I N G is the name of the game.
Politics is dirty business honey and nobama has already proven he is down in the mud.
You are wrong. Bundling was a very large percentage of HRC’s fundraising until very late in the primary, when her online fundraising picked up considerably. Online fundraising from small repeat donors, by contrast, was always Obama’s primary source of money. Always. From the very beginning. You NQers may not accept this fact, but the political establishment understands the reality, which is one of the reasons that HRC began the primary with a huge superdelegate lead and finished it behind in super-delegates: the political pros figured out that Obama, among his other gifts, was the most potent fundraiser in the history of American politics.
Yeah, too bad Obama never had restrictions on “overseas” donations the way Hillary did.
I’d love to see an audit of his “small contributions.”
Did you see the person in England whose credit card was stolen and the only “purchase” on it was 2 donations to the Obama campaign? Now HOW did Obama accept money from an English citizen?
Here is a link since I know many will doubt me http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/the_real_american_idol/article1192926.ece AMERICAN Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has had an unlikely campaign contribution – from thieves who fleeced the bank account of a British couple.
Shocked Tania Parker discovered the account had been mysteriously emptied after she tried to withdraw money from a cash point.
When she called Lloyds TSB stunned Tania was told fraudsters had illegally made two donations totalling £210 to fund Obama’s race for the White House.
She told The Sun: “It’s crazy, I couldn’t believe it. I’m not even an Obama fan – I prefer Hillary Clinton!
“When your card gets nicked you expect them to buy designer jeans or jewellery – not go topping up the coffers of some foreign politician.”
His money machine is very shady at best.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/the_real_american_idol/article1192926.ece
Are you kidding. Dean and Pelosi are on tape trying to raise funds… see for yourself!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkRIbUT6u7Q&feature=email
I think that Obama has already spent an obscene amount of money.
It’s not even right, in my opinion. They are turning politics into a sham of waste.
If the kids want to continue dumping their money in, that’s fine.
I’m sure the rest of us will just say, “No” to exorbinant waste.
As in “An expense of spirit in a shame of waste?”
Thank you for that link. It started my morning off with a laugh.
Sad thing is it does describe Nancy and Howard to a T.
COUNTRY BEFORE PARTY ALWAYS
Right, buddy. That must be why the DNC can’t pay their convention bills.
Or why the RNC has $40 million for the GE, but the DNC only has $4 million.
You and your little Obamabots are delusional.
Then why doesn’t the DNC have any money? I have received multiple e-mails from Dean, Gore, Obama’s campaign manager (what’s his face), the GA Democratic Committee, etc. etc. pleading for money. Of course I didn’t give them any and won’t! They all received a pretty direct e-mail about why I won’t be giving them any money. Hell, they can’t even fund Barry’s convention in August. Who are you kidding?
You may be right about the money, but don’t forget, WE CAN affect the outcome of the election by voting against the downticket delegates that supported him. When they realise that they will be out of work because of him, I’m pretty sure a lot of them will rethink their position and support. I’ve allready emailed my state rep of my intentions, maybe everybody else can and should. My intentions have been reinforced by trolls like you, so when the shtfan, you will know where to look.
Pssst…SfHillary,
The DNC has already cancelled 50 events due to lack of funds from the old party faithful.
They are eyeballing a Katrina Fund for convention cash…yuck…we are still waiting on more details about that.
They are considering moving the convention to Chicago, so your claim the DNC hasn’t been ‘affected’ is already false.
He sets records every single month — primarily through small online donations …
So you say…but can you tell me with any FACTUAL eveidence that this true?
Any transaction under $200.00 is not auditable. So quit blowing BO ok?
Donations via prepaid cards from calling centers in Gaza are not what I would consider a proper indication of “small donations”.
What do you think the fact that the republican money pouring in for the primary has dried up now that they have a presumptuous candidate means? That they wanted the stronger candidate to run against? LMFAO …. try to tell kids anything these days. They just have to learn the sad truths for themselves.
I’m doing the exact same thing. The DNC doesn’t deserve my $$. I will register as a Libertarian, and vote for McCain!!
kewl, I sent something oh so similar to the AZ dem party, LOL!!!
We now have Obama becomming W and Hillary our own Princess Di, the People’s Princess.
Obama’s Secret Service detail was just doint their job. Hillary’s Secret Service detail is more low key, but they clear areas when they need to. I think Hillary’s detail is so used to dealing with her that her appearances run very smoothly. They’ve just been working with Hillary longer.
The leader sets the tone.
And here is how Obama is treating the press. Transparent? Anything but……
As in the primaries when Hillary was far more transparent, McCain is now viewed as far more accessible to the press.
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/19/us/politics/19campaign.html?_r=1&adxnnl=1&oref=slogin&ref=politics&adxnnlx=1213869732-cie7h56JKV4AIc3lCedBsw
Unless this was Obama’s exclusive “territory”, the Secret service wasn’t just “clearing the area” they were clearing the area of Clinton aides.
I can picture it now, Clinton’s agents confronting Obama’s agents in a big “territorial” dispute. Nobody, nobody died and made Obama king of anything (unless there’s something happening in Kenya that we don’t know about).
No Quarter is mentioned favorably on this blog:
What Right Is There That Is Greater And More Precious Than The Right Of Freedom Of Expression? None
I hope that very soon all resolute Hillary voters will turn their attention to the desparate condition of our country: our energy dependence, the undermining of our banking system, and the collpase of the US dollar. This is the leagcy of Alan Greenspan, George Bush, and a Republican Congress. The challenges we face as a nation are enormous and far more threatening than Obama’s getting the nomination
We are thinking about this which is why we won’t hand over control to Obama. His inexperience and poor judgment scares us a whole lot more than the GOP.
Obama’s “inexperience” scares you more than the guarantee that McCain will continue Bush’s policies, which have led to the most disastrous presidency in American history?
Obama’s inexperience makes him unqualified for CIC. McCain is not Bush so stop trying to scare people with that nonsense.
I cannot vote for Obama because his lack of experience puts our country in danger.
Country before party.
McCain 2008
Bullshit
If you’re so convinced you don’t need any of us NQ dead-enders to vote for your Plastic Jesus, why do you waste time here?
Mr Obama isn’t qualified to be my President.
Period.
your argument is just so…LAME!!
Americans DONT see McCain as BUSH III
We just dont
get over yourself already, it wont work…..
gheesh!!
If anybody is going to be like Bush, it will be Obama.
Stupid does as stupid is. Inexperience does as inexperience is.
What a sock puppet BO is.
You are right. Too much is at stake in this election. That is why I’m voting for McCain, a man with the experience to be CIC.
Except that he has a bigger group of rogues and thieves hanging on to his coat sleeves, not that you would have noticed or anything …. Countrywide is but the tip of the iceburg of those contributing and praying for an administration that won’t pry into the sweet deals that Democrats have been getting for themselves during the past 8 years. Corruption is as blue as it is red. Count on it.
The White House….and the federal budget…..in the hands of the corrupt Chicago political machine.
I don’t think so.
I’ve already turned my attention to those things. Why do you think I am backing McCain? Obama has zero experience in everything other than being part of the Chicago machine. I don’t want an arrogant amateur in charge of my country when what we really need is someone who has a clue how to solve our problems. Obama reminds me of Bush every time he opens his mouth, and as far as a legacy, you need to remember that the Democrats control Congress right now, and what a legacy they are leaving–their approval rating is lower than Bush’s.
Obama’s policy on terrorism is pre-911. He does not want terrorism to be considered an act of war against the U.S. I would say this is a serious problem in credibility for a candidate in these times. Obama has no idea how to deal with terrorism except to pretend terrorist need a great bug hug and an American lawyer. There are many American citizens who cannot get a credible lawyer. This is my big concern and why I won’t support him. I don’t think he comprehends the nature of terrorism and the pervasive threat it has.
This is utter horseshit. No candidate, either Republican or Democrat, was more hawklike than Obama on the necessity of going after Al Qaeda in Pakistan. For saying this he was called naive by both HRC and McCain. They are fools. He is right. Iraq is a catastrophic, tragic waste of U.S. and Iraqi blood and treasure. Bombing Iran is a fantasy which will never happen. Going after Al Qaeda, by contrast, is doable and, frankly, imperative if we want to make any pretense of fighting international terrorism. Obama’s comments on the war on terror are by far the most intelligent, articulate and far-sighted of any of the major candidates.
McCain, by contrast, who is supposed to be some kind of foreign policy expert, has repeatedly confused Shiites and Sunnis. His lack of knowledge about Iraq and terrorism in general is truly frightening in a potential CIC.
More lack of international knowledge:
One might expect a Constitutional law expert to understand the historical record of the Nuremberg trials, especially if using them as an example in his speeches. Unfortunately, Barack Obama showed his lack of preparation yet again in Pennsylvania as he praised the Boumediene decision by the Supreme Court last week. Obama claimed that it represented a return to American values as represented by the Nuremberg trials — which actually didn’t allow habeas corpus through American civil courts at all:
Obama a former senior lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, cited “that principle of habeas corpus, that a state can’t just hold you for any reason without charging you and without giving you any kind of due process — that’s the essence of who we are. I mean, you remember during the Nuremberg trials, part of what made us different was even after these Nazis had performed atrocities that no one had ever seen before, we still gave them a day in court and that taught the entire world about who we are but also the basic principles of rule of law. Now the Supreme Court upheld that principle yesterday.”
(Though Obama was clearly referring to the principle of giving criminals a day in court, it’s worth pointing out the distinction here, that the Nuremberg trials did not give Nazi war criminals access to U.S. courts, but to a special international military tribunal created by the U.S., USSR, France and the U.K. Though Nuremberg currently is considered a model for international law, it’s not as if Rudolph Hess had access to challenge his detention in U.S. federal court.)
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/06/kaffee-vs-jessu.html
You’d think Obama would have a qualified advisor who wouldn’t allow him to mouth off about the Nuremberg Trials without checking the facts, wouldn’t you?
Maybe they’re assuming his poorly informed supporters like sfhillary won’t know any better.
For the rest of us, we DO.
You’re saying the decision to invade another sovereign nation without any diplomatic discussion is the sign of maturity–Right! Here is a country, Pakistan, that does not have the most stable government right now, but does possess a nuclear arsenal, and we’re just going to march our little butts right in there, with or without permission. And you say McCain is like Bush; you are delusional. God help us if Barack Obama and his knuckle-headed foreign policy experts get control of our military.
I would disagree with you on most of your assumptions.
I doubt we’d get too far in that discussion.
We can get as far as you want. I’ve stated my opinion above: Obama has been clear that destroying the Al Qaeda network (as opposed to spending all our time and money in Iraq and Iran) would be his top anti-terror priority? Do you agree with him? Or do you agree with McCain that staying indefinitely in Iraq while leaving Al Qaeda unmolested in Pakistan, as we have for the past seven years, is the best way to fight terrorism?
Again, no real dialogue will happen. Right off the bat you’re mischaracterizing McCain.
There are clear differences in assumptions. In Iraq, the question is: Is the surge working?
If so, McCain’s position is more responsible than Obama’s. I also agree with many analysts who suggest that this crap of promising the public withdrawal in 16 months is naive and even irresponsible on Obama’s part.
I’d rather McCain bring the troops home and surprise us all in a delightful way.
But see? I take offense when some bozo from Washington promises and then doesn’t deliver, because it was pie-in-the-sky all along.
I suspect you’re not my type of thinker.
The crap about Greenspan being responsible for the economy really makes me laugh. Good God, that so makes no sense!
But then, I noticed Obama blaming Clinton for Bush policies, so this ridiculous type of nonsensical thinking where you smear someone for policies that they weren’t in charge of and had nothing to do with is sort of the bread and butter of Obambabots.
That way you can just smear everyone indiscriminately without logic.
Obama’s advisor Samantha Powers already admitted to a British paper that Obama’s “home in 16 months” is just a best-scenario guess, and only said for political purposes.
She told the British journalist that —OF COURSE—when he gets elected, when he speaks to generals on the ground, that will surely change.
So…..he actually agrees with McCain, but still wants to cling to the false image he projected while campaigning.
Same with NAFTA; same with public financing.
Dopes like sfhillary haven’t a CLUE that most of what he SAYS he’s gonna do, he won’t really do.
He’s not for universal healthcare, either.
The man is FULL of inconsistencies and bamboozling.
Greenspan, a.k.a. Mr. Bubble, lowered interst rates to stimulate the economy and kept them low way too long. He ignored one of the Fed’s responsiblities, which is to maintian a sound banking system. Greenspan’s staff warned about subprime lending but he looked the other way. Yes, I do believe that Greenspan is responsible for the meltdown in mortgages because he did nothing to reign in high risk lending.
Surge: To add onto what you said, I also seem to remember back in the early 00’s that a lot pressure was being put on lenders / banks/ etc.. to extend to loans to minorities or folks with poor credit / low income .. I seem to remember Jesse Jackson’s involvement but all of this is coming from my vague memory and I haven’t tried to look this up. The banks were threatened that if they didn’t loosen their mortgage criteria that they would be hit with Civil Rights lawsuits.
Does anyone remember this? Am I wrong?
I have realized that the wars will continue no matter who becomes president, because that is what the War Lobby [composed of the Oil Lobby, the Carnage Lobby (excuse me, the "defense" industry lobby), and the Israel-First Lobby] wants. If Plastic Jesus really meant to end the wars, this War Lobby would never have allowed him to become the probable Democratic nominee.
The wars will continue until the USA reaches the point that they cannot be continued without activating the draft, which neither party will do because they know that would be political seppuku, or until the country goes bankrupt, whichever comes first.
Since I know my vote can’t do a damn thing about the wars, I am free to cast it on the basis of other matters.
I sort of agree. One thing that I believe we’re seeing now is a consistent pressure on the US economy from the world. No support from Europe, etc. Middle East too important to walk away.
We’re paying the bill.
This is how we broke Russia. It’s working with us, too.
Sorta works that way, eh?
Yep about Russia.
It’s EXACTLY what Osama Bin Laden planned for. Suck us into a long occupation, bleed us dry until we go bankrupt.
He learned that by helping the CIA bankrupt Russia in Afghanistan in the 80’s.
You can thank Obama’s advisor Brezinski for that.
~”Obama has been clear”~
Obama’s positions are as clear as mud.
Obama hasn’t been clear on anything; that’s the problem. He changes positions at every opportunity. I wouldn’t trust him with toy soldiers and a pop gun!
Obama’s experience can be measured in days compared to McCain and Hillary.
I will not hand over my country to a man who doesn’t have any experience. Nor will I hand it over to someone who is lazy intellectually, when such probelms exist.
McCain actually cares about people, Obama cares about himself.
I’ll take McCain.
Obama officially opting out of Public Financing for Presidential campaign. Reversal of his pledge.
Change you can believe in!
No! Really? I’m shocked.
Isn’t Obama’s bunch also suing McCain to make him continue taking public financing? I’m fuzzy on these facts; do you know anything about this?
Yes they are – at least until the GE. But they are also suing for an investigation into how McCain got the financing he has.
Trying to get him out of the election so Obama can run unopposed, I assume. That’s his modus operandi.
Obama plays dirty politics, for sure. He’s sticking it to McCain on the finance end.
Meanwhile, Obama was praised to the hilt when he brashly said that he not only would accept federal funding but that he would AGGRESSIVELY insist his opponent do the same.
He’s not yet the nominee, and he’s already breaking promises.
Change we can believe in is about right, I’d say.
Same ole’ Washington insider BS crap shoveled out for the public, without any integrity or follow-through.
Why even discuss his positions, frankly? They mean nothing anyway.
Look at NAFTA. He was just blowing smoke up Ohio’s butt on that, and we all knew it. Sure enough, now he admits it.
AnninCa, will they ever learn?
They are not even upset when he lies to them and makes utter fools of them.
Were you around for the NAFTA crap? My God, the universe is filled with posts from these people on the evils of Clinton and Nafta.
I tried then to say, “This is irresponsible campaign talk. NAFTA isn’t going away. A full 50% of our GNP is from global companies.”
Might as well have been howling at the moon.
Yesterday, my, my….here comes Obama with his pro-global talk.
Are they even embarassed that they defended his so-called-phony position and now he’s reversed it?
Nope.
They are partisan idiots, which is precisely what I’d like to see eliminated so we can actually start to address real problems.
The good news? He’s going to dump these supporters as soon as possible. They are overly pedantic and rigid, and that’s not how government works.
That part I’m optimistic about.
I don’t like him a bit. But I know he’s not completely stupid.
Of COURSE he’s pro-Nafta.
The big corporations always knew that.
It’s why his biggest contributors are the financials like Goldman Sachs.
And why he voted FOR Cheney’s Energy Bill, giving huge subsidies and tax breaks to the big oil companies.
McCain voted AGAINST that Energy Bill, and so did Hillary.
The big corporations always knew he was bamboozlin—wink, wink—and that he supported free market principles.
He only lied about it to impress Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
He’s like a little Saudi King, isn’t he, with faithful followers to lick his ass.
That’s how I see it.
Today, anyway, lol.
How would you like to be a leader of another country and have to try to figure out what Obama’s agenda really is?
surely you jest!!!!
gambling??!!!
in Rick’s place??!!!!!!
NO!!!!
BWWAAAHAAAAA!!!!
Change you can Believe in, as in he changes his positions constantly, and you can believe it will change again after the elections
LOL!!!
Yes, change you can believe in, in other words you can believe he will CHANGE his position every day. Believe it.
They are told to announce him that way so that people don’t confuse him with MEEEEchelle.
Meeeechelle usually bulls her way on stage screams, bitches, frowns, and leaves earlier; however, she is far more masculine.
Than many Chicago Bears lineman.
Correction: MEEEEchelle is far more masculine than many a Chicago Bears lineman.
Forgot the a.
DAH Bears!
Obama’s Record on Pro-Choice issues,
Is Not what you’ve been told:
Video Tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IL_9VrSFoIo
I am willing to read all about this issue to educate myself—I would rather not see the pictures.
The above video should come with a WARNING!
Yeah, the 2 pic’s in the middle are shocking, maybe you could comment on the makers youtube page.
I did not know he voted against that Bill.
I wonder if many know of Obama’s legislative record, and how it is the opposite of what his campaign tells people.
Guys, I’m telling you this man has no strong personal beliefs other than the drive for money and power. His continual flip-flopping shows this. If one issue shows the real Obama, it is that of privatizing social security–he’s for it. How will that help the little guy?
Were there only 2? I stopped watching right after the second picture. I knew about this vote before and have said it to Obamabots—they won’t listen. I should just direct them to that video!
To Democrat, huh, Arabella- Having grown up in and around the Boston area, I have been to a goodly number of events involving politicians and other high profile people. I have been to many many events, including three here in 2008 in NW PA. Never, ever have I heard a security detail say “make way” or “stand aside.” Standard procedure? Yes, an area is usually cordoned off, to keep the public outside the line of protection.
The language used by the detail was out of line- especially as they were not clearing the public- they were brushing aside Sen. Clinton and her group.
Detestable and IMHO completely unprofessional.
That does seem a little extreme. I’ve been working with Hillary for a long time. She is my Senator and she lives not too far from me. Even before she ran for President, she has a Secret Security detail. Even when she went to the local diner.
Her detail was thorough, but discrete. I think she has the best people because they are very unobtrusive and polite.
I wouldn’t want my secret service agents announcing me like Obama’s did. Vewy vewy quiet seems safer.
Maybe they are not secret agents but NOI bodyguards. I’ve read somewhere that they are also protecting him. Just forgot where so I could not provide the link.
That crossed my mind; NOI bodyguards.
SS will have none of it.
I guess Obama is rubbing off on them!
I think it was because Hillary was in the hallway.
Just another way to demean her.
Obama probably told them to do it. (-;
You guys must understand that Senator Obama is a historic candidate running for the presidency. I am not saying he is more important, but the secret service need to make more precautions because as we know, there are lots of white people not very happy with his candidacy. As Michelle Obama has said, Barack, as a black man, can get shot going to the gas station. The extra security is warranted.
Historically doomed!
Not to mention the Bradley affect.
Maybe he doesn’t want to be president? You don’t think that there were risks for everyone who is running or is president? Do you think that we hear all of the reports of people who threaten? Please. If one more person whines for Senator Obama today, I will make my new post diet number on the scale three weeks ahead of schedule. I didn’t expect to throw up nearly as much as I have.
This living martyr shit is getting really thin.
All candidates run risks and have threats. They just don’t all whine about it all the time and every day.
I expect him to come up with stigmata at any time.
And Hillary as a white woman can be smeared with the most vile sexist remarks and everyone laughs…
You must understand that your “historic” candidate is going no where.
And what is the likely color of the skin of the person who would be doing the shooting at that proverbial gas staion…
just askin’
Surely The Candidate did not need to be protected from Hillary Clinton, did he? Surely his security detail recognized her even if she was talking to the press. Were they dressed in livery?
This is kamelophagia, people.
Get him a curtained palanquin.
When will they bring out the little girls throwing rose petals?
OMG, SHE SAID THAT?!
WHY IS MICHELLE CALLING FOR OBAMA TO BE ASSASSINATED?!
Quick! Someone call Keith Olbermann!
ROFLMAO
And Senator Clinton is NOT an “historical candidate”? Shirley Chisholm didn’t get this kind of treatment when SHE ran for president in the midst of the Civil Rights movement so don’t try to convince me that Obama is in any more danger in 2008 than SHE was in 1972.
What Michelle Obama didn’t say is that
and that according to the Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN) calculation based on 2000 National Crime Victimization Survey. Bureau of Justice Statistics, U.S. Department of Justice)
So, according to Mrs. Obama’s logic, she and Senator Clinton may be in more danger than her husband is.
And Senator Clinton has received very vicious threats but no one is saying that her Secret Service protection should push Obama’s aides out of the way because she’s a “white woman” who could be endangered by Obama’s supporters.
From day one Obama has expected, and received special treatment. Not an auspicious beginning for a man asking for the job of public servant to We the People, is it?
Again with the AA in the gas station story??
as a woman you can be raped and murdered anywhere at any time..
get over yourselves
maybe if the One had done something about the crime in CHicago it would be safer for him to fill up the SUV he had (before he started rambling in Carteresque fashion and had to switch to a Prius…..)
Historic indeed. Never has a candidate with fewer qualifications been force fed to a free people.
Horseshit! That’s one level up from bullshit. I’m white, and I’m not happy with him as the selected nominee. And guess what, it has nothing to do with the color of his skin, his sex, his sexual preferences, religion, ad nauseum. He does not have the experience for the job. He does not care about his constituents. He is an arrogant, corrupt Chicago machine politician, who cannot be trusted to tell the truth; he has no business in the White House. We can’t afford any more presidents requiring on-the-job training.
You are a bigot.
BO “deserves” nothing more or less than any other person in their protection. Drop the Gas station crap…
BO is an immoral bigot just like you too.
If it is for security, why would you announce the ‘target’? I believe that Secret Service people have more subtle ways of getting their person where they need to go.
Not long after Bill Clinton became President, I was at an event (much security to get in) that he came to. When I later went outside to a spot away from the crowd, I did not realize immediately that I was standing right where he would be exiting. I became aware that the Secret Service had me in their sights. But, they never said a word to me.
I agree. Seems like poor security procedure.
I’ve never heard the Secret Service do this. Maybe one of Obama’s staff said it. If so, the Secret Service had a long hard talk with that individual.
Maybe some of his old NOI security people were in the group.
betcha thats it
were they wearing bowties??
LOL!!!
This site is hilarious. You people are ill in the head.
His protection will end when he loses to McCain. Maybe, they will escort him to a cell next to Rezko.
I would bet you anything that the Secret Service is as sick of this guy and his crowd as we are. I bet they are just shaking there heads and they know the danger someone like this could be if he gets in office.
Now that’s not fair. They like shooting hoops with him.
and letting him win of course.
Oh, yes.
There is a constant and inevitable rhythm in this world. A meteoric rise is always followed by a meteoric fall.
Boom and Bust–Boom and Bust– then there is Obama, and by comparisson to BO even the Busts will look good. He has already degraded everything he touches and he isn’t even in control, OFFICIALLY, yet. What will this country be like when he is actually [steering]it? Kenya?
If you stop and think about all you know,
you would never vote for Barack Obama.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXZyRcaXQKc
Ive been to many many political events, in several primaries and general elections. I have heard the Secret service do the exact same thing for Senator Clinton, Senator McCain, Senator Kerry, Senator Edwards and (then)Governor Bush. It is nothing abnormal at all. At any crowded political event you have every VIP trying to push their way through a crowd and their “people” will try to make a path for them. The difference is, when the Secret Service is the one making the path, they mean business, so they call like that as a way of telling everyone to get the F out of the way or get trampled.
okie dokie. Strong arm stuff just like the Chicago mob bosses.
So when the Secret Service on Hillary’s detail did the EXACT same thing and actually shoved a friend of mine out of the way when we were at a rally in PA, what was that? Strong arm stuff like a typical New Yorker?
No, that is not right either, but most of realized by now that our proper place is in “free speech zones” and not at political events unless asked.
But was your friend an aide to Obama or McCain when she/he was shoved out of the way because things happen to us that usually don’t happen to the candidates staff. I doubt Obama would allow something like this to slide without comment because it would be considered a slight to him personally, just as it was to Senator Clinton.
She was working for the campaign as a local organizer, I was a volunteer at the time. It is just the way the Secret Service is, they take their jobs very seriously and don’t mess around. Their first concern and responsibility is the safety of their charge. Things like politeness, respect, political considerations, don’t even make the top ten of their list of immediate concerns.
Didn’t you read Democrats post that said it’s okay for them to bully since Obama is a “historic” candidate?

Can you see the change? Not from our perspective. You can’t get away with preaching change and then play the same old political game. If you didnt know already Obama just backed out of public financing (another flip flop).
“In February 2007, I proposed a novel way to preserve the strength of the public financing system in the 2008 election. My plan requires both major party candidates to agree on a fundraising truce, return excess money from donors, and stay within the public financing system for the general election. My proposal followed announcements by some presidential candidates that they would forgo public financing so they could raise unlimited funds in the general election. The Federal Election Commission ruled the proposal legal, and Senator John McCain (R-AZ) has already pledged to accept this fundraising pledge. If I am the Democratic nominee, I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election.”

We need a new bus, just to have a place for his policies to go after he does not need them.
In a way I think it is serving a useful purpose for all that has happened from the beginning to now. All of the mistreatment and crap Hillary was dealt and all of the fluffing Obama got-it is prompting people to finally do something about it. This is good because for far too long many people have sat by while our government has been gradually taken hostage and strangled. When people say they don’t vote because it doesn’t matter, this is what it comes to. It began a long time ago but really became evident when King George cheated his way into office. Now we have the party that once belonged to true Democrats hijacked by a bunch of far left liberals and arrogant punks, none of who seem to have any qualms about having a lack of values and right and wrong.
People are finally angry and fired up. And they aren’t just sounding off-they are taking action through letters, forming groups, staging protests and donating money, many of whom have little to spare. Yes, part of this is for our loyalty and deep faith and belief that our country needs Senator Hillary Clinton sitting in the Oval Office in the White House. But it is also about plain and simple Democracy. Many of us still know what that is and are willing to fight for it.
If people are getting angry and fired up, then why is Obama’s lead in the polls growing, not shrinking?
I agree with you completely. That is why I am a little disappointed in Hillary.
On 6/26 Hillary is bringing together Obama and her largest financial backers. I know it was naive to hope she would stand up for democracy and the people at the expense of her career but I still hoped. I know she can probably do more good in the Senate than than she can risking running on another ticket – but if Obama is elected, I have a feeling Congress will be irrelevant.
Hillary Clinton is still my first choice for President but I am disappointed at how she is rolling over for Obama and the UnDemocratic Party. There are millions of us who won’t. Our careers aren’t at stake – but our freedom is.
Hillary isn’t going to do one thing that could possibly suggest that she’s not playing by the rules.
Give him rope.
Hillary is hunkered down. She knows what she is doing.
He’s on his own, and as a Narcissist, he has no problem with that. His people blow smoke up his ass every day and that spells happiness to a guy like him. He really thinks he is going to be appointed President just like he was appointed as a candidate. As fall draws near, I shall enjoy his tanking. It’s all so deja vu.
I still have hope that will happen and that Hillary has a plan. I still support her for President – NEVER Obama. I’m just a bit concerned because in the meantime she is giving away donors, voters, etc.
In the meantime, we are on our own and the majority of Hillary supporters, especially women, are flocking to Obama. We have a coalition but we don’t have a plan.
What is your reference for the statement that the majority of Hilary supporters are flocking to Obama?
So Hillary is bringing Obama to the table with her money folks, the money folks are the ones who decide if they will write the checks or not, and Bambi willl fuck up like he did insulting Gov Rendell, because a no class street thug is always a screw up and the money folks are not Obamabots who drewl at the thought of an ill qualified candidate like Obamabots do, so don’t expect glowing support from them, they can and do think!
Plus, they crack me up with their “leaks.” LOL*
They are yappers!
I would agree with this. Hillary gives the opportunity to Obama: her voters, her fundraisers, etc.
But Obama has to GAIN them and KEEP them himself.
A number of her largest Jewish fundraisers have already gone to McCain, and many of her voters have moved to McCain.
That has nothing to do with Hillary.
She offers Obama the opportunity. If he can’t connect, if he can’t recruit them on his own merit, then it’s HIS problem, not Hillary’s.
Obama is on his own now.
Obama is the Dem version of George W…just go back and look at George W’s earlier days.
I thought Obama was all about “change” anyway. What is he doing surrounding himself with the same ol same ol? Why is there still a back door for the lobbyists to contribute to the DNC? Obama is just as sneaky as the rest. He is the ultimate panderer.
Nice article about how BOBO is afraid of McCain.

Big Bad Barack? This is a clue to the fantasy. MO’s stinky snory sweet (sym)pathetic is Big Bad Barack.
Today on RCP, there’s an article that it’s the men who will be the exiting group.
I agree.
RCP?
That was a great article, thanks for the link.
Obama = Bush
Michelle Obama = Laura Bush

Fraudbama NEVER gets my vote.
I wonder if the bambibots realize they look and sound like little nazi’s with
the relentless propaganda, the brainless idolatry,
the squelching of any opposing opinion,
manipulation of the polls and public opinion,
the manipulation of the vote, the theft of an election.
It is scary and unparalleled.
We don’t know who this guy is, who is really backing him, or what they want out of the United States.
I know that he does not have the best interests of myself or my country at heart.
Were they SS or Farrakhan’s goons?

Proud Military Mom, great essay.
Dean, on the party level (it was a set-up), made Obamarxist a king and that is how the latter is playing it. Take a look at the information from Kenyans about Obamarxist’s Father — arrogance, narcissism, abusiveness, alcoholism, recklessness unto an early death. The DNA has been inherited unchanged with Mother’s marxism thrown in. Probably with the above qualities pathological lying was also a trait of Father’s. It certainly is front and center with Obamarxist.
The article on his “tennis head” is good. I have interpreted his robotic head turning when at teleprompter as the body-language aspect of his lying. First left, then right, then left, then right, his entire career. First the authoritarian leftists and terrorists, then the corporations for their lovely dollars that funded his Hopefund Pac and his primary run (bundlers without a corporate name). Never, never the center. This primary season has been tragic.
Don’t even compare this unqualified and incompetent man to President George Bush. I have violently disliked the latter for all the years I have known him or about him, but at least he came to the primary with some “accomplishments” — two terms as Governor of Texas. Even one term would be miles more experience than Obamarxist has.
Larry, I commend your blog and recommend it as one of the most informed and hardhitting. I have problems reading the comments, though, because the trolls have a field day. Is there any way to get more management? Your readers have so much to say.
The campaign on Monday barred cameras from a large gathering of African-American civic leaders Obama attended. It recently refused to provide names of religious figures with whom Obama met in Chicago THEY RESTRICT PRESS ACCESS TO EVENTS …7:47post.
- Kenya’s Prime Minister Raila Odinga,Obama’s cousin, and the man Obama backed for dicatator-president, is on a three-day official visit to the United States. The visit include a meeting w/Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and Steve Hadley, National Security Adviser at the White House.
WHY NO PRESS COVERAGE OF PUBLIC OR PRIVATE MEETING WITH FAMILY/OBAMA? (lots of coverage/photos of BO’s visit to Kenya)
Mr. Odinga’s father, Oginga Odinga, led the Communist opposition during the Cold War and Raila Odinga was educated in Communist East Germany. Mr. Odinga (has an) electoral pact with the National Muslim Leaders’ Forum — a hardline Islamist organization that represents Kenya’s Muslim minority. Odinga promised the Muslim leaders that, if elected, he would establish Sharia courts…throughout the country. Source MUST READ:

Oh gosh…..the video was great!
Good Morning Obama-LAND.
We kick off the day with news of the Obama camp insulting two Muslim supporters who were told to get to the back of the bus because His Highness could not risk being photographed near Muslim women in head scarves.
And if scarf-gate wasn’t enough, we have an Iraqi Minister, Mr. Zebari, telling Washington Post that Obama assured him there would be no withdrawal timetable!
Shades of nudge-nudge-wink-wink-NAFTA-gate.
Mr. Zebari says that after his phone call with the Obamalama, he feels there is NO DIFFERENCE between Obama and McCain on the subject of withdrawing troops from Iraq.
But wait — it gets better!
AxelROVE comes out on a mission of damage control and tells Joe Scarborough the Iraqi Minister simply got it wrong-o.
Yup. Mr. Zebari did not hear what he heard. Because in Obama-speak you tend to hear what O-man thinks you want to hear and 24 hours later you’re treated to the W.O.R.M. (”What Obama Really Meant”) flip flop.
What a day!
Thats not the Mr. Zebari I knew.
It’s always nice to wake up to some humor. Wonderful, insightful blog. I thought and felt some of those same things after I read the article. Thank you for time and glibness.
Make way for the wanna-be King!
You should quote the latter part of the article about how dismissive he was (yet again) of Hillary and her staff. Hillary had to hug the wall to let him pass to prevent being whacked in the face by his thugs if she didn’t get out of the way fast enough. Notice how they included his name at the end of their summons to heighten his importance – a simple “please clear the way, or please stand aside” is too much for thugs after all – instead it’s:
“Stand aside for King Obama!!! or risk getting trampled by the Obamabots!!!”
Just imagine if you were one of those 90-year old women at Hillary’s events dying to tell her how proud you are she was running as you were born before women could even vote – then getting pushed out of the way or stepped on because you couldn’t move fast enough to clear the way for King Obama. The arrogance is unbelievable!
What American says Make Way!, geez it isn’t the sleeping beauty ballet. It’s a guy who wants a job as a public servant.
Wait until the Secret Service is required to do a trumpet fanfare or ruffles and flourishes for the Annointed One.
It will probably end up in a fist fight between his Secret Service agents and hers (she gets lifetime Secret Service protection as a former first lady). Then we’ll have the reality show “Secret Service Arena” with losing agents ending up on “Dancing with the Stars.” Make way for the Obama — the Emperor with no Clothes.
I also called Bush that, and I truly believe Obama is worse. Is there such a thing as an Emperor with less than no Clothes?
URGENT INFORMATION FOR EVERY CITIZEN
WE NEED TO DEFINE THE EXECUTIVE ORDER OF THE UNITED STATES PRESIDENCY.
answer: a President’s or Governor’s declaration which has the force of law, usually based on existing statutory powers, and requiring no action by the Congress or state legislature.
Why is this a problem? As Americans everyone of us must be concerned based on the article posted below. The President Of The United States has the power to do whatever to whomever for whatever reason he chooses based onlaws passed in our congress. CAN WE TRUST A MAN WITH THE ASSOCIATIONS HE HAS HAD HIS ENTIRE LIFE? ARE WE WILLING TO BECOME A COMMUNIST NATION OR AN ISLAMIC NATION? WHERE IN GODS NAME WILL THIS COUNTRY HEAD? WILL WE CONTINUE TO BE A FREE PEOPLE? THIS IS NOT FEAR TATICS ON MY PART. THIS IS TRUE CONCERN FOR THE COUNTRY I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE REVIEW AND COMMENT ON OUR CONTACT US PAGE!

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT BO IS ALREADY ISSUING THESE ORDERS…………
As I said above, if Obama is elected, Congress will become irrelevant.
Congress will become irrelevant
will become? Where you been?
Executive Order? JFK practically governed by this method during his short term. Obama will do all he can to continue the legacy Ted and Caroline entrusted to him. I also found an article on Political which I guess can be retitled (for naive believers like me) “It’s not my party, it’s their party” –
go to Politico and look at “Dems Pressure Lawmakers for Cash” by John Bresnahan and find out how much it really costs to be a Democrat.
It is a shame you hve to read foriegn press to learn the truth,

What Right Is There That Is Greater And More Precious Than The Right Of Freedom Of Expression? None
19 June 2008 By Zach Jones OpEd
USA -It is what keeps us free, proud and engaged. It is why this Freedom is the primary target of those who would seek to gain control over the direction in this democracy. That is what happened on the internet and in Washington, D. C. yesterday, June 18th, 2008, Freedom of Expression was attacked by the puppet masters who are supporting Sen. Obama. When one man, Mr. Larry Sinclair, sought to respectfully exercise this right, his rights, he was arrested in an effort to intimidate him into giving up his responsibility to continue to share information that believes to be true about Sen. Obama. He was being shown that the puppet masters have power, enormous power, to influence the proper and improper executions of our laws and regulations. The puppet masters and their surrogates, who write the speeches, who influence the media, who regulate the message, who attack the opposition, who manufacture the image, who distort the truth, and who enlist the thugs; they are the unseen hands at work here. Where is the American Civil Liberties Union, the ACLU, the champion of Free Speech under the Constitution? Can they confront their historical allies?
Isn’t the calculated use of intimidation, manipulation and abuse of users (voices) of the internet and creating orchestrated displays of police power by a political party, the media and/or their supporters in efforts to quell any and all opposition worthy of the ACLU’s involvement? The attack and intimidation of one person’s rights of Free Speech is an attack on the rights of all of ours. Where have I heard that? Oh, the ACLU. Isn’t the Internet the equivalent to the power of individual expression and dissent that has historically been accomplished by writings, books, articles, and Op-Ed pieces? Isn’t the intentional hacking into private sites, seeking through nefarious means to disclose writers’ identities, to discourage their participation, the same as burning books in Nazi Germany? Hasn’t the Obama campaign set up a two tier private internet police? The first being the official anti-rumor site and the second being the network of loosely affiliated internet savvy hackers, slanders, intimidators, and common thugs. Why don’t you come to the defense of Larry Sinclair? Conflict of interest, maybe?
Now, let me be clear. America is engaged in a battle against those who seek to control and manipulate our rights and our abilities to voice opposition. These forces that attack America are those from the extreme left of this country, a left that is so extreme that they are wholly convinced of their moral authority over all of us. They are the new inquisition, the new fascists who will accept no criticism or threat to their desires to seize control. They are like fascists from times past who first turned their talons towards Freedom of Speech, expression and dissent and those who exercise them. Well, I dissent and am proud that I do. When we cease to fight for the Rights that so many of our forefathers have fought and died to protect, then we are truly a lost people. We probably will deserve what happens to us if we do not stand up. We stood up when Hilter exerted his vision of total control over humanity. When followers of a person, Obama, start behaving as a cult, it is time to wake and stand up. Stand up America! Do not let this threat to our rights and liberties overtake our common sense.

It’s like screaming in the wind. We are being assaulted on all sides with images and slogo. For example, yesterday, all eyes were on Michelle Obama’s appearance on “The View.” The View. Wow. Apparently so. Even Hannity and Colmes devoted a very large segment of their one hour show to this “event,” with Elizabeth Hasslebeck as their guest. And Cindy McCain? She who is accused of stealing a cookie recipe? Here’s the buried story about her in today’s news:
(begin quote) June 19, 2008
Cindy McCain in Vietnam on cleft palates mission
The Associated Press
Cindy McCain ranged far afield from the U.S. presidential campaign trail Thursday to showcase her charity work helping Vietnamese kids born with facial deformities. McCain has made several trips to Vietnam, where her husband, Republican Sen. John McCain, was shot down during the Vietnam War and held for more than five years as a prisoner of war. She visited the coastal town of Nha Trang where about 100 children born with cleft palates and cleft lips were awaiting free plastic surgery provided by the U.S. charity Operation Smile. The operations will take place on one of the U.S. Navy’s floating hospitals, the USNS Mercy. “This is what I do, and this is what revitalizes me, personally,” she said. “The campaign is extremely important, of course, but this is also important to me, and so you try to balance everything.” Cindy McCain has been actively involved with Operation Smile since 2001 and is a member of its board of directors. She has a special connection to Vietnam because she and her husband first helped a baby, Phuoc Thi Le, receive reconstructive surgery on her cleft palate and cleft lip in 1997 after a chance meeting with the girl’s uncle in Arizona. Cindy McCain reunited with Le, now 11, during her one-day visit. The McCains later adopted a daughter from Bangladesh who also was born with a facial deformity. “When you see a child anywhere, say a child that doesn’t have food or a child with a cleft palate who’s been kept in a back room because the family is embarrassed or whatever it may be, it takes you back to really what’s basic and what’s really important,” Cindy McCain said. Before returning home, Cindy McCain was expected to stop in Thailand on Friday to meet with officials from the U.N. World Food Program to discuss ongoing relief operations in neighboring Myanmar. The military-run country is recovering from last month’s cyclone that killed more than 78,000 people and left another 56,000 missing. Cindy McCain said she didn’t bother applying for an entry visa, because she knew the government would likely deny it. She has visited Myanmar twice. “It’s just a terrible group of people that rule the country, and the frightening part is that their own people are dying of disease and starvation and everything else and it doesn’t matter,” she said. “I don’t understand how human life doesn’t matter to somebody, but clearly, it doesn’t to them.” She also plans to visit Cambodia to participate in charity work there. (end quote) Say what you want about the woman and even drag up her pain killer addiction and stealing pills from her own charity medical supplies and going through rehab and admitting her drug use … she’s doing something better with her time and apparently, not getting much media coverage. I found the story by accident. It would have been the perfect “compare/contrast” story to put alongside the Michelle Obama “View” stories that have dominated the media but I haven’t seen it yet.
And you won’t as long as the media is kissing Obama’s ass.
I’ve had front row seats and stood at the stage for speeches by both Clintons. I’ve seen the Secret Service mill through the crowd, even the undercover ones are easy to spot.
I’ve seen the Secret Service usher candidates through the halls. The timing is so intentionally unpredictable, that there are always volunteers and VIP’s milling about.
Not once has the Secret Service used the pomp and circumstance that Obama must be demanding. You never hear “Make Way” or “Stand Aside”, at a Clinton event.
Who does he think he is, Tiger Woods? Pretty soon the SS will not allow cameras into O’boy events because the sound of clicking shutters breaks his fragile concentration.
Too true! And it has already begun- thay have banned the press and cameras from recent ‘private’ events.
I am glad I am not the only one who has been to events and seen the Secret Service in action and never, ever, heard them use those phrases.
I think it was Pagan who asked if maybe it was his NOI guards and not the Secret Service. We will probably never know.
You don’t hear “Make way” for Elizabeth II.
Let see if they don’t treat him like a king or create this artificial aura around him, then you will tend to look at the man objectively. You will evaluate his qualifications, acheivements and judge him on merits only. Then where will that leave them. You guys give them credit, they have to work with what they got.
How sad it is that in Presidential elections it is not enough that a candidate has no experience. That a candidate is unqualified or for that matter has facts about his past that clearly make him unqualified. Americans are so easily swayed by a bright smile and a slick speech. For the first time I can remember, I wish only the extremely well informed would vote. If Obama wins, it will be because of the votes from those who get their information from 30 second ads and 15 minute cable news segments. The same way he got the nomination.
“Ex-Clinton Cabinet Officials to Advise Obama on Foreign Policy
In other campaign news, Barack Obama has announced the formation of his Senior Working Group on National Security. The group features several former cabinet officials from the Clinton administration, including former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright and Warren Christopher, former National Security Adviser Tony Lake, and Clinton’s Defense Secretary William Perry. Other members of Obama’s advisory board include two members of the 9/11 Commission: Lee Hamilton and Tim Roemer.” democracynow.org
I do not see this as Clinton standing aside. I see this as her holding the influence and power to get as many of her backers in the White House. (If he is to steal this election anyway.)
Proud Military Mom;
Thanks for the clip. Nails it. Obama has not a shred of credibility.
