We’re Bigger Than You Think, Mr. Obama

We’re a far larger, far more influential coalition — with an incredibly fast-growing number of passionate participants — than those Obama surrogates would have you think. Don’t miss the press release below.

“In operation just over two hundred hours, the Just Say No Deal Coalition is growing exponentially, from its core group of twenty organizations to an estimated two hundred. Concerned citizens continue to break their silence to express their dissatisfaction with the leadership of the Democratic Party and its apparent short-circuiting of the nominating process.

“The Just Say No Deal Coalition’s online portal offers those voters a chance to reclaim their voices and the power to Just Say No Deal! The Coalition will continue to organize in pursuit of its mission of keeping another unqualified candidate from inheriting the Oval Office.”

Here’s the full press release from the Just Say No Deal Coalition today:

*****MEDIA ALERT*****

Is Obama Pulling The “Head-Scarf” Over Our Eyes?

Just Say No Deal Coalition Says, “We Won’t Blindly Follow!”

- Online, in Washington D.C. and Nationwide - JustSayNoDeal.com reacts to the scene on Monday night in Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena when two young women wearing religious headscarfs were not permitted to sit in “special seating” behind the podium stage.

While the Just Say Now Deal Coalition acknowledges that the Obama Campaign has a right to orchestrate their public events as they see fit, the Coalition questions whether Senator Obama’s well-publicized and branded platform of a “new kind of politics” represents bona fide change or merely a brilliantly executed marketing campaign.

The events in Detroit earlier this week represent yet another reason why the Just Say No Deal Coalition rejects the Democratic Party’s arrogant mandate. Its members have all declared their decision to not “fall in line” behind the presumptive nominee.

In operation just over two hundred hours, the Just Say No Deal Coalition is growing exponentially, from its core group of twenty organizations to an estimated two hundred. Concerned citizens continue to break their silence to express their dissatisfaction with the leadership of the Democratic Party and its apparent short-circuiting of the nominating process. The other day I said this on a blog…..But now I realize that Many Many of us are saying and we just might have a chance.

“I might just be one voice with only one vote but I will keep on fighting for America.”

So lets join together to make it one very Big VOICE and many many votes that count.

Comment by Shainzona | 2008-06-20 15:06:23

I’m curious…in the last two elections were there any/many sites that were anti-Kerry and Anti-Gore (not Repug sites - Dem sites)?

I’m just amazed at how many there are that are anti-Obama….and I think I’m registered on them all.

Comment by cat | 2008-06-20 15:11:10

not 200 citizens-200 GROUPS, geniuses!

Comment by db | 2008-06-20 15:13:30

You Obamaotons better learn to read. 200 organizations!!!!

He did not receive over 18 million votes. You Obamaotons are either lacking in education or liars!

Comment by Lucinda | 2008-06-20 17:03:37

What do you expect? He can’t do math without a calculator, so he probably can’t read either.

Comment by Andrew | 2008-06-20 15:15:45

Obamabots are trained in the use of fuzzy math. Fuzzy math is using a single poll to justify your standing. There were almost zero anti-Gore groups. People made fun of him - “Lock box” - but not many groups. The anti-Obama movement is shocking. Americans have a visceral hatred of this dishonest mobster man. We don’t need anti-Americans in office. He needs to run for Nancy Pelosi’s house seat. He is more anti-American than she is.

Comment by WestPalm4Hillary | 2008-06-20 15:18:26

Bbbbut… he’s “THE ONE”…. he is going to UNITE US! He will be the END of divisive politics! The END of partisanship!

…. when does the change start again?

Comment by beebop | 2008-06-20 15:25:45

He only had to unite enough to get rid of Hillary. Now that he’s done that, he’s fast to separate himself from all of the policies that distinguished him as a “Democrat.” When do the kids wake up and notice? I guess he’d have to wake up white …

Comment by WestPalm4Hillary | 2008-06-20 15:28:39

If I remember correctly according to his “I love me” sutobiography, there’s not hope that will happen because he abandoned THAT “side” of him back in his crack head days. He didn’t want to be seen “Ingratiating” himself to whites.

Ya know, cause Obama keeps it real.

Comment by beebop | 2008-06-20 15:47:10

He’s the antithesis of UNITE … I think its closer to UNTIE … same letters, just moved around. Maybe all along its just been a typo. Typical oblowme, neh?

Comment by Northwest rain | 2008-06-20 16:35:30

I’ve never seen a movement against the presumptive nominee EVER. Carter was NOT popular — but there were no organized groups (but there was no Internet back then).

But NO presumptive nominee has ever outright stolen the nomination like Howie Dean has for Obama. This crap happened right in front of our eyes.

The voters of Washington State voted for a PRIMARY — but the bought off WA Dem party decided to hold corrupt caucus anyway. The difference in the caucus “vote” and the Primary vote shows how corrupt Obama’s gaming of the system is.

NEVER before has this sort of disgust & rebellion happened so long before a party convention.

We are now in new territory — and all polls are meaningless — because there is no way to conduct a poll to determine how many people are joining the NO-Obama movement. How many Republicans who were going to vote for Hillary Clinton who will now vote McCain.

Also how many people are refusing to respond to polls? We used to get polled often — now we just hang up on ANY polling organization. How many people use only cell phones?

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-06-20 16:42:16

I think we’ll see some more activity now that he announced the reversal on his campaign finance pledge, too.

That bothered a lot of people.

Comment by MaryPat | 2008-06-20 23:10:40

Have you seen Barry’s new “presidential seal?” What an arrogant ass. Even the Obama suck-ups on CNN were calling it “over-the-top” and laughable.

No fan of Bush, but someone should alert him that any sawing he hears in the wee hours might be Barry dismantling the WH to move it to Chicago. Talk about counting your chickens before they hatch. Or was it “come home to roost?”

Well the Obamabutts are really talented as well!

A year ago (or even a few months ago) I would never have CONSIDERED voting for a yecky Republican. But as I watched the Obamabutt invasion — and how the Obamabutts have NO IDEA what Obama really will actually do if elected prez — and just exactly what Obama really stands for on so many issues.

Thanks to the hard work of Obama and his Obamabutts I will now be voting for McCain. After first deciding to not vote at all, then to write in Hillary Clinton — I now realize the only option I have to end the Obama menace is to VOTE for McCain.

I would like to thank all the hardworking Obamabutt trolls for helping me make this important decision. Also I have help influence many of my friends to vote for McCain — they would also like to thank the hard working trolls.

Obamabutts — keep up the good work!!! McCain will thank you on 4 November!!!!

Billie - you are sooooo right girl! I thought the same thing! I have been a proud Independent all my life and usually voted Democrat…not anymore! The DNP is as far left as I can see and I am voting for the only candidate with character, integrity and experience in this election - John McCain! Hill was my choice, hands down, but since the DNC and Omamanation have pulled a “Patty Hearst” on her (you know, brainwash, gun-in-the-back, help us rob the bank…for all you youngins out there)I am all for McCain. At least when he speaks I believe what he says. Like chris mathews, I too get a crawling feeling on my leg, but it is more like a trickle running down, out of fear for what this guy will do to this country. Don’t think so? Let’s see, in the 2 weeks since he was the selected nominee he has reneged on no less than three major issues he used to “stand” for (pro-public financing, anti-NAFTA, transparent govt….just ask the press), moved the DNC to Chicago (that bastion of clean politics), and now reworked the Presidential Seal…man, Axelrod should get the award for best in show on this. Manchurian candidate. Creeps me out! McCain all the way!

I wasn’t going to vote for McCain - probably do a write-in or empty, just vote down-ticket. However, people like ‘realdemocrat’ and ‘jodie’ make me feel like voting for McCain. That way Obama has to overcome 1)the loss of a vote and 2)a McCain vote.

Mostly I think Congress is where things get done - or are SUPPOSED to get done.

What is worrisome is how much the Bush regime has expanded the Executive powers. I think Obama would not hesitate to use them because he seems to view himself as the savior of the world. He must be a real narcissist.

No Quarter - your place for highly selective, political news with spin.

Republican have more style, grace and etiquette than No Quarter authors and commentators. Even GOP Mike Huckabee is adverse to “No Quarter” style politics. Huckabee writes in his own blog that “What I am saying is that we need to challenge Obama on the basis that his ideas are the wrong ones — not attacking him personally. If people spend their time repeating a bunch of internet driven drivel,… Elections ought to be about elevating the best ideas and exposing the worst ones—not engaging in character assassination with half truths, innuendoes, and disputable internet facts.”

I didn’t “get it” then, but I get it today.

Frankly, I don’t try to reason with the trolls. Basically most are too stupid or insulating or both to bother with. Handing Obama and the democratic party a giant loss this November will make me feel good again. No one is stealing my vote or my country. Get that Howard Dean, Brazil Nut, Pulosi, Reid, Dodd, Kerry, Kennedy et al. I don’t want to be a democrat anymore until and unless Hillary Clinton is our nominee. I’ll come back to the democratic party whenever we purge the democratic party of the assholes who voted for Obama and stole this election from Hillary and the people of America. If it isn’t Hillary this year then it will be McCain. At least the man is a patriot and I think he’ll reverse a lot of George’s abuse.

in connection with, any advertisement, poster, circular, book, pamphlet,
or other publication, public meeting, play, motion picture, telecast, or
other production, or on any building, monument, or stationery, for the
purpose of conveying, or in a manner reasonably calculated to convey, a
false impression of sponsorship or approval by the Government of the
United States or by any department, agency, or instrumentality thereof,

or both.

…”

There are some exceptions, so you will want to read 18 USC 713 in detail.

“…

Ex. Ord. No. 11649. Regulations Governing Seals of President and Vice
President of United States

Ex. Ord. No. 11649, Feb. 16, 1972, 37 F.R. 3625, as amended by Ex. Ord. No.
11916, May 28, 1976, 41 F.R. 22031, provided:

By virtue to the authority vested in me by section 713(b) of title 18,
United States Code, I hereby prescribe the following regulations governing
the use of the Seals of the President and the Vice President of the United
States:

(g) Such other uses for exceptional historical, educational, or newsworthy
purposes as may be authorized in writing by the Counsel to the President.

…”

Without an exception, or a very good lawyer, you probably want to think
very hard about using the Seal of the President

Polls don’t reflect the electorate and most voters don’t understand them. Pollsters use sophisticated algorithms to adjust their raw results.

Most pollsters and analysts are ignoring PUMAs, assuming PUMAs will “come home” in November. Simply put, pollsters are over-estimating the number of women and older voters, two very reliable blocs, in their calculations for DEM voters. And, since PUMAs are now INDs, remaining DEMS are going to be skewed towards Obama.

Remember, pollsters take raw data and massage it according to their own secret forumlae.

Bottom line: Obama does not have the lead he thinks he does.

Good news: His internal polls are probably just as off, given the way he’s blown off Hillary voters.

I just ordered my bumper stickers and t-shirt saying NO BAMA ‘08. I’m looking forward to advertising my low personal opinion of Barack Obama. He won’t get my vote. No way. No Chance. Not Now; Not Evah.

Obama simply cannot be trusted. Obama cannot be trusted on any issue. Obama cannot be trusted by his friends. Obama cannot be trusted by his enemies. Obama cannot be trusted. He cannot be trusted by his donors. He cannot be trusted by Democrats.

NOT VOTING FOR BARACK OBAMA.
