Washington DC, June 21 — Tonight political prisoner Larry Sinclair is spending his fourth night in the DC Jail, the victim of a Gestapo-style enemies’ list operation carried out just three blocks from the White House last Wednesday afternoon.
Sinclair had come to the National Press Club to detail his charges that the self-proclaimed Democratic presidential nominee Barack Hussein Obama had indulged in two homosexual encounters complete with crack cocaine in early November 1999, that Obama was complicit in the December 2007 assassination of Donald Young, the gay choirmaster of Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ, and that’s Obama’s resident perception monger, David Axelrod, had paid the pornographic website Whitehouse.com $750,000 to organize a campaign of character assassination against Sinclair, culminating in a faked polygraph test. At the close of the press conference, Sinclair was arrested inside the press club by US Marshals and DC police, apparently based on an old Delaware warrant.
GESTAPO TACTICS IN THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB, THE TEMPLE OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT?
Where are the civil libertarians? Where are the paladins of the ACLU? Where is the outcry and the indignation? Is no one concerned about threats to lynch a gay man for political reasons in the heart of the nation’s capital? Where are the left liberals who have been ostensibly so concerned about civil rights and civil liberties from Nixon to Bush-Cheney? Perhaps they are sleeping, or perhaps they have drunk the Obama Kool-Aid and have become morally insane.
Or perhaps they are so obsessed with the reform of the FISA law and the danger that Bush might be listening in to their telephone calls that they do not notice when a prominent critic of a presidential candidate who is infamously a darling of the establishment media is actually arrested, taken into custody and led away, the target of Gestapo tactics in the National Press Club, the sanctum sanctorum of freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the First Amendment generally.
Surely the weak sisters who have joined Obama’s fifth column are morally insane when they joke about how Barky’s Myrmidons were able to arrest Sinclair. If the First Amendment does not apply to speech which is not popular with the establishment and the mob, then the First Amendment does not exist at all, for anybody. Any journalist or writer should be able to see that they themselves may be next, now that the US Marshals are serving as the “Fight the Smears” enforcement arm of the Obama campaign. Selective and vindictive prosecution, anyone?
The mere fact that Larry Sinclair had been able to hold such a successful press conference was already a serious defeat for the corrupt and brutal Obama machine.
Sinclair had appeared in the Holeman Lounge before more than a hundred journalists, with 10 cameras set up on tripods in the back of the room. The number of handheld cameras, camcorders, and tape recorders was beyond counting. The press conference was dignified, businesslike, factual. There was no screaming, no disruption, no threats or insults.
Every journalist who wanted to ask a question was given ample opportunity to do so, and about three dozen questions were asked. Reasonable follow-ups were allowed.
There were journalists from Britain, from Germany, from India, from China. Most of the questions represented honest attempts to pin down the facts of what was being alleged.
Sinclair’s honesty compared favorably to most politicians today. He started his presentation with a detailed admission of his criminal record, jail time served, his pending court motion to dismiss an old Colorado warrant, and a statement that his troubles with the law date back more than 20 years to 1980-1986.
In the question-and-answer segment, Sinclair gave a straight answer to every question he was asked. He did not dodge questions, he did not prevaricate, he did not refuse to answer questions, and he did not bungle his answers. Sinclair has made serious mistakes in life, as he readily concedes. But Sinclair is not a candidate, not a person who has to be evaluated by the public and then accepted or rejected.
Sinclair comes forward as a witness with a series of allegations to make and a story to tell. It is up to public opinion and most emphatically the news media to evaluate those allegations and those facts, including through the efforts of enterprising investigative journalists anxious to make a name for themselves by finding out the truth about what is potentially the biggest political scandal of the century. Obama, after all, is the candidate of whom we know little and who needs urgently to be evaluated.
The issue posed is not what you think about Larry Sinclair. The overriding issue is the presidency in a time of military defeat, institutional crisis, and economic breakdown.
HOMOPHOBIC DEATH THREATS AGAINST SINCLAIR
Obama’s lemming legions, and especially his notorious mercenary squadristi of the Internet, had done everything possible to sabotage and disrupt Sinclair’s press conference. One Obama backer had issued a categorical death threat against Sinclair in terms that made it abundantly clear that a homophobic hate murder might be in the offing. The FBI and the District of Columbia police had shown zero interest in offering Sinclair protection against a possible hit by one of Obama’s fanatics.
Once it is accepted that police agencies can intervene in political campaigns, it is possible to a rest or detain almost anyone if the interest is great enough. The old warrant used to incarcerate Sinclair most probably refers to events already covered by the statute of limitations.
If nothing can be found at this level, there are always old parking tickets and library fines that can be ginned up. Any political candidate who has had dealings with the Federal Elections Commission can be hauled in on some minor technical violation. The precedent established by last Wednesday’s events at the National Press Club is exceedingly ominous for the public life of this country.
The irony is that repression is now being carried out not to help the Republicans but under ultra-left cover, to help the radical subversive Obama.
Since the warrant used as the pretext to arrest Sinclair apparently came from Delaware, our attention naturally turns to Senator Joe Biden, the incorrigible blowhard and defeated presidential candidate who is now known to be angling for the post of vice president or Secretary of State in a future Obama regime.
We also note that Biden’s son, the nepotist Beau Biden, is the current Attorney General of Delaware. As the cops would say, the Biden machine, anxious to ingratiate themselves with Obama, had the means, motive, and opportunity to arrange this outrageous arrest. For those gullible enough to believe that civil liberties might improve under an Obama regime, this ought to provide a reality shock.
Do not assume that civil liberties will get better under Obama; the evidence is now that they will get worse. Obama’s National Press Club caper is as blatant as anything seen under Bush – and Barky is not even in the White House.
At the end of his detailed indictment of Obama, Sinclair demanded information on four points. The first involves Obama as phone records for November 3, 1999 through November 8, 1999 — the time frame of the two allegedly encounters between Obama and Sinclair, mediated by Paramjit Multani of Five Star Limo at O’Hare Airport. The second involves Obama’s phone records for September 2007 — December 23, 2007, when Sinclair was receiving probing phone calls from Donald Young about how much Sinclair had revealed concerning Obama — calls that ended when Young was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds just before Christmas 2007.
Sinclair’s third demand for clarification touches communications from Obama, Axelrod, and campaign manager David Plouffe to Whitehouse.com in January and February 2008. Sinclair’s fourth point regards possible payments by Obama, Obama’s campaign, Axelrod, Plouffe, and Axelrod’s AKP Message and Media to Whitehouse.com in that same time frame of January-February 2008.
OBAMA MUST ANSWER, NOT EVADE
It is now up to Obama to answer these charges. It is imperative that this be done now, without further delay. No responsible citizen wants a president who can be blackmailed and thus turned into a puppet because he is hiding secrets about bisexual activities, crack cocaine, political murder, and character assassination campaigns.
It is also up to the great news organizations, including ABC, CBS, NBC, The New York Times, and the Washington Post, to carry out their responsibility to the public. These news organizations should not play the role of kept courtesans of those in political power. As Sinclair pointed out, he has told his story and has thus done everything he can.
It is now up to the great media concerns to locate and interview the limo driver Paramjit Multani, to investigate the relevant telephone records, and above all to question Obama himself about this very serious matter. It is not up to the corporate media to sit back and sniff about whether a Sinclair has conclusively proven his own case to their satisfaction or not; the proving or disproving is the responsibility of the media, and let them make damn sure that they get it right.
By today’s journalistic standards, Sinclair’s allegations are extraordinarily substantive already, especially when compared with some other major scandal allegations heard during the primaries. Sinclair has filed a federal civil suit against Obama and Axelrod, complete with sworn affidavits and court papers.
This means that he is willingly risking Rule 11 penalties for filing a frivolous lawsuit.
He has also made statements to the Chicago police about his contacts with murder victim Donald Young. These steps represent a very high degree of public commitment by Sinclair to the truth of what he is saying.
Compare this to the shoddy standards of the New York Times which, on February 21, 2008 published and prominently displayed on its front page an innuendo about a supposed sex affair between Senator McCain and a certain Vicki Iseman, a Washington lobbyist. Not one single solitary named source was cited to support this innuendo. Or, take the case of Vanity Fair magazine, the house organ of decadent left liberalism, which included a slander piece entitled “The Comeback Id” by Todd Purdom in its July 2008 issue. Here again, there was not one single named source who was willing to have his or her name publicly associated with Purdom’s sleazy allegations.
It is painfully obvious that there is one set of journalistic standards for the Perfect Master Obama, and another and much laxer set for the competition. This is intolerable.
NO PRIVACY FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO ACCESS THE NUCLEAR BUTTON
It is fair to say that the idea of a private sphere for US presidential candidates about which the general public is not entitled to know anything became obsolete at the same time that intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads became available around 1960 to 1965. Since then, every presidential candidate has in effect appeared before the public asking to get his or her hands on the thermonuclear button that can start World War III.
At this point, the notion of a private sphere for presidential candidates becomes wholly untenable. In this day and age, we have the right to know everything but everything about presidential nominees who are asking for our votes.
We have a right to know their full personal histories, with no exceptions, no omissions, and no withheld documents.
We have a right to know if they are HIV-positive and whether they ever registered for the draft.
We want to know if they have received electroshock, psychopharmaca, and whether they have been treated by a psychiatrist.
We have a right to see their birth certificate, their college transcript, their senior thesis if they wrote one, their law school transcript, their passport, papers from earlier times in public office, and all other relevant documents.
We have a right to know about their mother, their father, their sister, their brother, their Aunt Tilly, their best friends at all stages of life, their boyfriends, their girlfriends, their pets, their backers, their sponsors, their gurus, their controllers, and their associates of every kind.
More than a right to know these things, we have an imperative duty to find them out.
For they are asking to get their hands on the thermonuclear button, the misuse of which can unleash a thermonuclear fireball that will not respect any aspect of the privacy of ourselves and our family.
Naturally, candidates are free to make their own choices in life just like everybody else: they can choose their religion, their personal associations, their forms of recreation, and all the rest in any way that they like.
But none of this — absolutely nothing — can be claimed as a secret off limits to the attention of the public. All of it must be thoroughly investigated, aired, and published when the presidency is at stake.
An Air Force crewman at a missile silo in the Dakotas goes through a background check which leaves scant room for privacy. We must demand nothing less from presidential candidates.
OBAMA’S COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT AND ALLEGED COCAINE USE
Larry Sinclair alleges that Obama has indulged in crack cocaine. Those familiar with the public literature about the current tenant of the White House know very well that there are many indications that his extraordinarily low level of performance may derive from cognitive impairment brought on by habitual cocaine use. How many more coke fiends in the White House are compatible with the further national survival of the United States?
Ronald Reagan notoriously suffered from cognitive impairment and constantly made his remarks off index cards which he kept hidden in his hands. Those index cards were a low-tech version of the glass plates of the Teleprompter upon which Obama relies.
As soon as he cannot read his words off those glass plates, Obama begins to stutter, to stammer and babble, to hem and to haw, repeatedly losing his syntax and constantly interjecting “um” and “you know.” What if Obama’s cocaine use really did extend beyond 1981, as he suggests in his memoir, and continued all the way to late 1999 at the very least, as Sinclair is alleging?
That might suggest that Obama suffers from greater cognitive impairment than Bush, as Obama’s incredible series of gaffes at the end of the primaries also indicates. Larry Sinclair stressed during his press conference that he has been a gay man all his life, and that he regarded the crack cocaine issue as the central one, at least until the time of the Donald Young murder.
During the press conference, Sinclair announced that he was willing to make his own personal medical records, including mental health records, available to responsible representatives of accredited news organizations, at their own expense.
That means that Sinclair is much more forthcoming about his medical history than Obama, who has withheld his medical records and offered a single meaningless page of advertising copy signed by his personal physician. And remember that Sinclair is not running for any office, while Obama wants to be president.
TWO MONTHS TO THE ROLL CALL OF THE STATES, AUGUST 27
The Democratic Party still has more than two months in which these very serious, substantive, and detailed allegations against its presumptive candidate can be thoroughly investigated.
It is unthinkable that any responsible political leader would be willing to see Obama receive the nomination while this sword of Damocles hangs over his head. Larry Sinclair’s videotape has been on the Internet since mid-January, and it has at various times been the object of discussion on something approaching a million websites.
The issues are Obama’s crack cocaine use, his bisexuality, his possible involvement in the Donald Young assassination, and the allegations of character assassination and harassment against Sinclair funded by the Obama campaign.
Karl Rove knows all about each one of these points, and there is no way to deter Karl Rove and his cohorts.
So, although it may seem incomprehensible to Obama’s drooling acolytes, the interest of the Democratic Party is best served by thorough airing of these allegations to before the roll call of the states is held on August 27, 2008 — and this is exactly what Sinclair has been trying to do since mid-January.
If Sinclair had been a GOP deployment, he would simply have waited for September or October to come forward.
There are of course those who lament and regret that it is necessary to dredge up the sordid details of a figure like Obama. They say that it is better to use political campaigns to talk about issues.
This document may sound plausible, but it is totally wrong, and the fault rests with Obama.
First, Obama does not campaign on issues in any systematic way. He presents himself as the Perfect Master, the Anointed One, the Savior, the Messiah, the Mahdi. His hysterical followers are obsessed, not with a political program or a set of issues, but with the personality cult of Obama. This means that any attempt to engage Obama on the issues is by definition an impotent and self-defeating tactic.
The only useful objections that can be made to Obama are ad hominem biographical revelations designed to show that he is not so anointed after all, and that his ability to walk on water has been overestimated.
Then there is also the matter of Obama’s notorious duplicity and flip-flops even where he does have specific positions on certain issues. First Obama wanted a fixed schedule for getting out of Iraq, but Samantha Power revealed that this was not the case at all. Barky said he wanted a different kind of foreign policy, and then he pandered to AIPAC, probably lying through his teeth in the process. First, Obama wanted to help the lower income brackets, but now he is talking about cutting the corporate income tax. Obama attacked free trade in Ohio and Pennsylvania, even as his top economic controller, Austan Goolsbee of the Friedmanite Chicago school reassured the Canadians that this was just election posturing; now Obama has told Fortune magazine that he likes free trade and is devoted to “free markets.”
First, Obama was going to be tough on FISA; now he is going along with the Democratic congressional leaders as they attempt to appease Bush.
Obama had built his career on ethics in government and reducing the role of political contributions; now he has turned his back on the only meager legislative achievements by becoming the first presidential candidate in modern times to repudiate matching funds in the general election.
On all these points, to attempt a substantive debate with Obama is a fool’s errand. The only way to pin Barky down is through pointed reference to crucial facts in his own background, biography, and associations which cannot be changed or swept under the rug. Any other approach is deliberate impotence and capitulation.

In the meantime, Larry Sinclair is still sitting in the DC jail. He could be extradited to Delaware at any time.
What kind of a presidential campaign are we going to have when critics of the most radical subversive to ever get this close to the presidency have to worry about a knock on the door in the middle of the night? It is time to put massive public pressure on the Obama campaign to drop their enemies’ list operation against Larry Sinclair, and to release him from jail at once.

I gave Larry Sinclair a good listen. I thought he sounded credible to a degree. However, I think the obvious information that SHOULD be in this article is missing.

I don’t think the issue is whether or not Larry Sinclair is telling the truth. The issue is that he has been put in prison. We should be outraged! Just as we should be outraged by the RBC decision.

Put in prison? He was arrested on a theft and forgery warrant out of Colorado, and is being held for extradition.
That is not the same as “put in prison.”
Also, Sinclair has a nearly 30-year-long criminal record…virtually all of which is for crimes of deceit, i.e., forgery, theft, etc. Colorado criminal records list 13 known aliases Larry has used.
1985 conviction on theft/forgery charges…1 yr sentence
1987 Colorado forgery conviction…16 year sentence (while in prison on this charge, Larry racked up 97 infractions in prison, including drug possession and assault).
He also failed a polygraph test regarding the Obama charges.

Just to let you know I was not arrested on the Colorado Warrant nor was I being held for extradition to Colorado as the Colorado Warrant specifically states you cannot extradite from outside the state of Colorado
The press conference that Larry Sinclair hosted seemed to provide enough evidence to involve all Media outlets to investigate the evidence. The problem as I see it, throughout this whole Democratic Campaign is that all regular news Media do not present negative news relating to Sen. Obama, they sweep as much under the carpet as possible. One wonders if there are threats or pay offs in the works. The citizen of our great country are entitled to fair and completed news coverage. We have not been getting that from the News Media. The main point hear is that the news media does not seem to be acting responsible as far as investigating and reporting their findings regarding Larry Sinclair’s allegations and the proof supporting the allegations. It is outrageous to think that Sen Obama and the Democratic party are involved in gestapo like actions. This sounds like a bogus arrest to me. I think Obama has a real problem given the amount of information Larry provided reporters, something should turn up. Hopefully sooner, than later. The Rev. Wright’s story took about a year before the mainstream media reported on it. I remember AC 360 on CNN apologized for airing it, what a doofus. The media wimps just want to cover their collective asses.
I dont understand why in the world people believe a man who uses many different names, has a long arrest history including insurance fraud in which he is in jail for currently! The New York Times has just leaked the name of a CIA Agent.
In an astonishing stroke of irony, the New York Times has outed the name of the CIA operative who interrogated 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, over the objections of CIA Director Michael V. Hayden and a lawyer representing the operative.
Agency officials and legal counsel told the Times that publishing the agent’s name would “invade his privacy and put him at risk of retaliation from terrorists or harassment from critics of the agency.”

My take was that they really wanted to write a positive piece on a Hispanic. It was very flattering. But he would probably have preferred not having the life shattering publicity.

Um. The man had outstanding warrants against him. Usually, when you have outstanding warrants, holding press conferences aren’t the greatest ideas in the world.
You can have warrants for parking tickets. Larry wasn’t exactly in hiding and was in fact at the RBC meetings. Why arrest him now? To send a message or to prevent him from speaking to the press, even the second tier press such as the Enquirer. The MSM is duplicitous in their obvious lack of interest.
He hasn’t exactly been in hiding. My question is why did Delaware issue a warrant? Was it in response to a request from Colorado? If not, what was the basis for the warrant?
From the first time I heard of Sinclair’s allegations, I thought here’s a man playing a very dangerous game with some very dangerous people, so why is he willing to take that chance??? Possibly, he is telling the truth??? I mean, come on, we have witnessed Obama and Chicago pals and the DNC SEIZE the presidential nomination, commit fraud at the polls, strong-arm superdelegates, bend the rules at the RBC meeting, disenfranchize millions of voters, and perform a hostile takeover of the DNC!!! Is it really so far-fetched to believe that Obama and friends are involved in a coverup of Obama’s bisexual past, his drug use, his involvement in the Donald Young murder??? These happen to be men who are mob connected in Chicago and are quite capable of anything in their quest for power. Hasn’t it long been their plan to take their game of corrupt Chicago politics to the national stage in Washington??? And now that they are this close, does anyone really doubt that they would do anything at this point to close the deal??? Really, Sinclair is obviously a weird guy with an extensive criminal past, but as the writer states, he is admitting to all of it, he knows most think him not credible, so why on earth does he continue to pursue it??? I have another explanation for you. Perhaps Sinclair is just a guy with a long criminal history who knew that making outrageous claims about Barack Obama would garner him attention and make him a folk hero among conspiracy theorists and people so angry about Hillary Clinton’s loss in the primaries that they’d believe anything that came out of his mouth, no matter how bizarre and ridiculous it seemed to a reasonable person. Sinclair is not a credible witness and the whole story stinks. On the other hand, the warrants were not “active” in the sense that state officials had agreed not to act on them while other legal remedies were being pursued. And, it WAS very bizarre that FEDERAL agents were sent in for a STATE issue dealing with a PETTY OFFENSE. It would not surprise me if someone related to the Obama camp was involved with his arrest. But that is not proof that Sinclair was telling the truth.

The wearing of a kilt does not “sink credibility”. A kilt is perfectly acceptable garb, even as formal attire. Kilts are not common in USA, but are acceptable anywhere, even at ‘black-tie’ events.

I am a former journalist. It is the journalist’s job to follow the story and, if necessary, dig up the evidence to either back up or discredit the story.
That is what investigative reporting is all about.
Obviously, no investigative journlists are interested in following this story.
Therefore, it’s on him to produce more evidence or, if he’s telling the truth, just drop it now that he’s presented it and been heard in a legitimate setting.

a- I’m not homosexual, bisexual or gay, and I don’t use cocaine or other illegal drugs; or
b- I had no homosexual dealings and I did not share cocaine with Mr. Larry Sinclair.

Larry Sinclair posted his home address on his website. He was not hard to find. The timing of the arrest is what is suspect. I suspect someon called the warant holders and told them that this was an easy way to get their man. I have worked in local law. Usually, when you have cross juristictions, you work with the controlling jurisdiction. That would have meant that the (what ever state it was, CO I think) would have just asked the DC police to take it. The feds? This is odd. Were the feds really involved? If so, well it does not change the price of a hill of beans in West Virginia.

Does anyone who’s commented here remember that the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal began with a tabloid rag? Where there’s smoke there’s fire. I don’t think Obama should get a free pass at this…Monica or Bill for that matter, sure didn’t. Why should we not be concerned about our nominee having consensual sex with someone other than his wife? We sure were all about getting the details when it came to Bill. And there wasn’t any allegations of crack cocaine smoking? Imagine if Bill & Monica had been hitting the pipe? We’d have our first public crucifixions scheduled on ABC and the like. We all know where he stands on the issues. To substantiate the accusations, a reporter must do his or her job. You have the name of the driver, you have phone numbers, you have the chicago police department, you have murdered victims, connect the dots. To sit back and do nothing, or to say this person is not crediable, is lame. Many criminals walk amongst us in the white collared community, in the political arena, yet they are believed because they have high paying jobs, or are socially connected.
The presidency is not a place where anyone wishing to have that job, cannot go without turning every stone in that person’s life, or checking out every allegation. This is about America and its citizens. The media’s role, is to provide the people of this nation with information so that we can make informed decisions. I am always impressed with Mr Tarpley’s writings and even more so with this post.
It seems clear that the Larry Sinclair allegations are not typical political mudslinging. Considering the murder of Mr Young, I would think that Obama’s high-ranking Democratic supporters would demand an immediate detailed response.
Sinclair’s allegations remind me very much of what happened to the nationally prominent evangelical pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs in 2006. A gay man appeared on local TV and stated he had engaged in sex and drugs with Ted Haggard, who denied it at first. Haggard certainly had more credibility than the person making the allegations. But it wasn’t long before Haggard shocked his congregation and everyone else with an admission of guilt.
And then, of course, there are those Republicans who have recently become embroiled in this sort of thing.
The Democrats simply have to demand a full accounting from Obama. The voters deserve one too.
As for Mr Sinclair, maybe he is in protective custody; maybe he is safer behind bars as other commenters have suggested.

Let’s go back to this story. The first thing that’s really off is that a little white guy like Larry shows up - and essentially asks the limo driver for a prostitute. Limo driver makes a phone call. Now - really - who do you think shows up? You think that the pay of a university professor, an author (I think his first book had already been printed once), and a state senator - is so low that the limo driver gives Barack Obama a call? The whole description by Larry is that this guy is really serving Larry’s needs - getting him drugs and so on. If anything took place outside Larry’s imagination (notice how he brought up the Oprah show on his website), his story stinks.
Frankly - I think this guy has a fixation - a little like John Hinckley’s - wanting attention from a major political figure. His dramatizations - like his little “I will never commit suicide” tape and his 1:42 tape don’t ring true at all.

Larry Sinclair, no matter what you may think of him or his story is putting himself out there - not some repost of a repost of a rumor, not stating that BO is the antichrist or some other bs - he’s got a story and he’s sticking to it despite death threats and constant harassment.

Larry is offended that a future potential POTUS lied in his book and in speeches about the extent of his drug use, according to Larry’s contradicting personal experience in the matter. He likely feels this reveals something deeper about the candidate’s character. Furthermore, there may now be up to three Chicago-area murders connected to the revelation.
There is simply nothing outrageous about any aspect of Larry’s story other than his consistency and surprising courage. Larry video-recorded a statement about not being one to commit suicide after the DC madam was recently found dead in a reported suicide. Since he has received death threats, Larry’s reaction to that story also falls within the bounds of logic. He has reason to be in fear for his life.

It has been said that Larry Sinclair is a poor witness, therefore should not be believed.
Aside from the limo driver, Larry Sinclair was the ONLY witness. Therefore, the idea of being a “poor” witness in and of itself is a non-argument.
What he alleges doea not require him to be a saint. Quite the contrary, a saint would not have witnessed the “event” at all.
Whatever evidence Larry Sinclair presented is more than sufficient to start an investigation by those who are expert at such things.

Joe, often where there is smoke there is fire. I also believe that the truth always emerges. There are plenty of people on the right side of politics who I am sure are digging through the evidence now and that patience is required.
The trouble is that someone with Sinclair’s shady and dishonest background does have a significant crediblity hurdle to overcome and that is why I believe the mainstream media is being very quiet on this.
But just think, what investigative journalist wouldn’t love to uncover further evidence in support of Sinclair’s claims? What a scoop it would be.
It’s still 5 months or so to November, plenty of time for things to emerge. Patience is required.
Notice that Donald Young was killed right at Christmas so the story had no legs.

Remember Mr. Sinclair did have both an FBI and DC Metro Police security details due to very real death threats issued against him, his family, and his lawyer. Chances are the FBI was monitoring communications for this very reason. I’m sure we will all soon find out there exists a clear line of communications and signals intelligence intercepted leading right back to you know who.
This arrest and detainment was a set up created very quickly, plain and simply. The FBI and DC Metro Police security details had no prior information that this was going to happen ahead of time. They were caught completely by surprise when this went down. That also means the order for the warrant obviously came from high up in the government echelon some place, and had to be sanctioned at the very least by the Attorney General of Delaware. The original intent of serving the warrent was an effort to stop Mr. Sinclair before he could have his press conference. However, somebody some place was able to slow the process down long enough for the press conference to go off first.
Meanwhile a private citizen is now a political prisoner in of all places, the United States of America for simply standing up for his First Amendment rights.
Can you provide a source for this claim? It is precisely this sort of unproven allegation that slows down acceptance of the Sinclair story. Evidentiary rigor is required.

The other day I went to the doctor and I saw a computer print of Larry’s story that someone had left behind, and I saw another one at the washateria. I thought that is it, since the media is not putting it out the everyday people are doing their best. More power to them If Larry was lying you know BHO would be on t.v. talking about smears. It is my contention that there are powerful forces behind this issue. A tug-o-war is starting, not so much as to the “truth” of the matter, but moreso the timing of the story.
I truly think the lid will come off right after BHO is officially designated THE Democrat nominee.

I say it again - 5 months is a LONG time in a presidential campaign. Anything can happen. Sinclair has sown some seeds and I sense a lot of frustration in the Sinclair camp that the media has not picked up the story. There is plenty of time. The timing of the arrest is only strange if the intent was to silence him. In that case he’d have been arrested before the press conference.
He had outstanding warrants and I read people who said they sent notice of the press conference to the places that had warrants. He gave public notice He’d be at a specific place at a specific time knowing he has outstanding felony warrants. This doesn’t take a conspiracy plot to understand nor does it make him a political prisoner.

No he didn’t, he listed his own 4 phone numbers he had where he said he received calls and text from Donald Young during the last months of 2007. He didn’t give anyone else’s number..

In his initial You Tube and interviews he complained that he’d gotten no response from Obama or his campaign. In March someone mentioned Young and his murder to him and only then did Larry start to say he had gotten these calls and messages from Young
I look for true things about Obama but this isn’t one and pushing it just looks foolish. Sinclair has his 27 year history of fraud and other crimes, has a crazy, changing story with no proof and gets lots of attention and has gotten thousands of dollars from his supporters.
I looked into this closely because Obama was actively campaigning then in his bid for US Congress and was getting so much press attention. Seemed an odd time to meet a stranger in public, give his real name and buy him drugs. Having worked with substance abusers I read archived articles at the time to see if Obama was showing any of the inevitable behavioral and personality changes seen with regular use. Not a chance.
Lets put tjis in context with the fatcs we do know.
1) Obama is a product of the Chicago machine/Combine. His associates, handlers all come from one of the most corrupt political outfits in America.
2) Donald Young, gay choir director of Trinity Church, murdered in Dec. of 2007. Whih falls in with Mr. Sinclair’s time frame.
3) The four listed phone numbers can easily be traced in regards to calls received.
4) Mr. Sinclair stated he was not aware that Mr. Young had been murdered till after his Y/t video. Since day one he always stated he was not going to release all of what he was aware up.
5) Tony Rezko trial. Witness Stuart Levine testifies about the “The Purple Room” Drug parties which had been taking taking place over a several year period. Where Special K Crack-meth, Cocaine consumed at all week-end, all male drug parties. Both Levine and Rezko, long-time buddies of Obama for 12-17 yrs. Both fundraised over $250,000k for Obama over several years.
6) William Ayers, who Mr. Obama and wife have a much closer relationship than the MSM has indicated. Plus Obama launched his campaign for Illinois state senate run from Ayers front porch. Admitted in his own book that he had several homosexual relationships.
7) Obama has himself admitted he use of drugs.
Given these circumstances. Mr. Sinclair’s story appears more plausible. Taken with the reactions of Obama’s campiagn, Silence LS, thru arrest, thier attempts to intimidate and discredit LS thru their surrogates. Yes Mr. Sincalir’s allegations appear trueful.
The point isn’t that Sinclair didn’t know Young was murdered until March, it’s that until he learned who Young was and that he was murdered his complaint was that no one had ever contacted him, he even said that was part of why he went public.
Then when there is a guy who can’t testify well by golly that guy had been in contact with him, calls and text messages. If he’d been in contact with anyone he’d have said so even if he didn’t give the name. If he’d said that from the start and that the calls had stopped in December that might be believable.
We like to believe bad rumors about candidates we don’t like but nothing makes this believable, nothing.
Obama did not say in his book “that he had several homosexual relationships”. If you are saying he did give a page number. It’s not there.
If we learn Obama went to drug and sex parties in Chicago that’s an issue but I bet there are such parties in my town and yours, that doesn’t put us there.

He was taken there to be introduced to the group by State Senator Alice Palmer who was stepping down from her Senate seat to run for special election so Obama was running for her seat. (I know she lost and decided to tun for that seat again) Ayers didn’t donate to the campaign then, donated just once years later for a total of $250.
I never believe one source, especially a source with an agenda for good or for bad, but always look for the full story and in context.

Here is the process that I could find.. We know that Sinclair had 2 outstanding warrants. To have an outstanding warrant does not necessarily mean that one will automatically be arrested in another state unless that states files for extradition. I believe the warrants were in DE and CO. So why not the CO warrant and just the DE warrant. Nature of the warrants and charges, or nature of the Gov. and Attorney General in those states? I read another piece that this might actually work against Obama, since now that Sinclair is in custody, his lawyer might have access to subpoena documents to support Larry Sinclair’s claim.

Larry Sinclair has been fleecing members of his blog since at least mid-May, when he began fund raising for a press conference in DC, to be held at the end of that month. He claimed to have a tape with “revelations,” which he was going to put up on his blog. There never was a tape, no press conference was held and there were no revelations, but Larry kept hinting at learning so much new information that he needed to extend his trip to 10 days. Of course, visitors to his blog were again hit up for money to make this possible. (Afterwards, he posted a break down of charges for his trip, which included a hugely inflated hotel bill and miscellaneous charges for laundry and cigarettes.)
When Larry returned, another intensive fund drive began. This time it was to have a June press conference at the NPC. And, of course, there were more promises of newly revealed information. The new information never was released, although Larry said that more would be forthcoming at a future time.
Now, the blog is promoting a “legal defense fund,” to pay for bail/legal fees which are from old crimes which Sinclair committed prior to ever posting his U-Tube videos about Obama. When will this end?
I also would like to point out that, if you read the comments attached to the OP’s, you’ll find that this is really a very nasty blog.
Although comments were strictly moderated for anything which questioned Larry’s version of truth, you’ll find many racist and anti-Muslim remarks which are there without a warning. I am not sure whether or not Larry Sinclair is telling the truth either. However, perhaps having him “conveniently” arrested from a DE warrant where Joe Biden’s son is the AG is not cool from an “appearance” stand point.
Obama paid his followers to go to Larry Sinclairs sight and put horrible remarks on that website. It was not the people that believed in Larry. The Obama followers stoled peoples names and wrote filthy filthy things. They do it all over the internet.
Mr. Obama does not have to answer Mr. Sinclair’s 1999 allegations. And he has not answered them. This was the way to handle this issue. As to Obama posters, some of them are deranged. This goes also for some of Sinclair posters.
To argue from Obama posters’s acts that Mr. Obama has done anything wrong is a non-sequitur. Many lawyers do not behave much more than Obama posters, and this does not mean that their clients are guilty. It just means that these lawyers and posters are whatever you want to call them.
It might be wiser to investigate these two issues - homosexuality and cocaine - independently from Mr. Sinclair, who is, to say the least, a very unreliable witness. The press is acting quite correctly in refusing to attack somebody on the basis of Sinclair’s “information”.

this is a major part of the issue…it needs to be researched and reported! we must INSIST on it
I think Sinclair could already be working with investigators concerning Donald Young’s murder and potentially the other two gay-choir director’s from Obama’s church of 20 years that were murdered in those two months before the primaries were underway.
Could it be that investigators, too, want Obama’s phone records without having to name him a suspect or person of interest? This would explain why he was able to have his press conference before being arrested–he was ‘in’ on the plan.
