"Hillary’s choice to support Obama reminds me of the battered wife returning home to her batterer. Often, these women have no choice. And I think in a way that’s true for Hillary."

That's a ludicrous analogy, and also highly insulting to Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton is nobody's victim, least of all Barack Obama's. She's a very strong competitor who ran a hotly contended race with another strong competitor. There were some irregularities regarding the race, which everyone is fully cognizant of, and no one is particularly happy about. But I haven't heard Hillary Clinton bitterly denouncing her opponent, or proclaiming that the race was fixed, or calling herself a victim who is now being forced into subservience to the man she raced against.

I'd have expected a hell of a lot more respect for Hillary than that from some of her strongest supporters.

You want a better example of the battered wife syndrome the author speaks of so glibly? How about an America brutalized by republican rule for 8 years, crawling meekly back to the republicans?

Listen guys, Hillary HAS to act like she is fully behind Obama or she risks being blamed for his lose in November. It's in our best interest, as Hillary supporters, that she "plays the game" and gains the trust of the Obamabots where she can have their mindless support in 2012. Maybe they will be "deprogrammed" by then. So when you hear Hillary or Bill saying nice things about Barry, don't wig out and think it's OK to actually support him too. Hillary and Bill will be on the "I Told You So" tour starting this winter. It's going to be wonderful. Obama will fall into obscurity like his political equals such as George McGovern and Michael Dukakis but only about 10 times worse. Imagine, the guy who lost an UNLOSABLE election. I can't wait. He deserves all the misery thats coming to him and so does Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi. Obama because he allowed his campaign to push the "Hillary and Bill are racist" stories while denying he was doing so and Tweedledee and Tweedledum (Dean and Pelosi) for allowing it and never once coming to the defense of either Clinton. Also Donna Brazile and James Clyburn have a special seat in hell waiting for them as well for their "race baiting" as well. Saying that they were "undecided" while attacking the Clinton's made their race baiting have that much more power to the average viewer who wasn't paying attention on a daily basis and for that they are probably the worst of the people I've mentioned. Who in their right mind comes away from hearing Bill Clinton talk about Obama's position on the Iraq war and likening it to a "fairy tale" says, "thats racist!" Why was it so bad to be compared to Jesse Jackson? The way Obama supporters talked, it was like you just compared Obama to Hitler. President Clinton was only saying that South Carolina could be won and not be a deciding factor. Just like Jesse Jackson in 88. It had nothing to do with Jackson being black. It had to do with Bill knowing that Obama could win South Carolina but Hillary could still win the nomination like Dukakis did. This election season has killed my love of politics. I can only hope four years from now, Hillary can bring it back.

Oh and for PUMA members. Please, if you have donated to Hillary Clinton during the primary, make sure you donate at least one time to John McCain. Send a message to the DNC by showing that we are not all going to "fall in line". Nothing gets their attention like losing donors. So, even if its five dollars, donate to John McCain. Get your name on both donor list. Also repeat this in comment sections across the net. Together, PUMA can stop Obama from destroying this country. Thanks!

It does seem that the "hated" DNC would have made sure the birth certificate wasn't going to be a problem. It doesn't make sense that they would invest all this time and resources into a candidate that could be so easily debunked. I mean if you ignoramuses could have produced a viable reason to have Sen. Obama removed from the race you would have already. And regards to Obama's legislative record foxnews.com has an in depth report.

Most people have heard the saying, "You catch more flies with honey (or sugar) than vinegar." Well, I don't know what they're mixing in the Kool-Aid, but I can't for the life of me figure out why the Obamaniacs keep nastily thumbing their noses and sneering, "You'll be back!" Most voters, if they had the slightest inclination to do so, would be driven futher away by such insulting, demeaning behavior. Do these commentators believe that we're barely literate dolts who never read their words? It's seldom that you read a polite entreaty for disaffected Dems to examine the policy similarities between Hillary and Obama and to please just consider voting for him. No, instead, we're compared to low-rent whores and round-heeled floosies who tumble into the big bed of the Democratic Party! I'm a senior, and I've never seen such a wrong-headed strategy coming from a political campaign! Where else can we go, they appear to ask. Duh! There's a well-known, seasoned moderate running who probably pleases more Dems than Repubs! And, when it comes to Obama, I don't know how anyone who's paying any attention can still support him! He flip-flops almost on a daily basis, and there's no determining just what power is behind him, pulling strings! Unless these people are planning a coup d'etat, I have no idea how they think they're going to get BO in the WH! I can't wait to see the egg-encrusted faces when he loses in a landslide!

Lester D.K. Chow Says:

I am the owner of the firm that successfully negotiated Saddam’s withdrawal from Kuwait. What we did, essentially, was to put a final and complete end to the Gulf Crisis. Bush, though, had other plans. When we confronted Obama with this information about a year ago by fax letter, he wasn’t interested and REFUSED to reply to us. We are anti-war and so we thought that we would get some response from Obama. We, also, represent China’s current succession Emperor, who is China’s head of state in exile as China’s Emperor. Barack turned both of us down and so we can not see how this man can say what he says about being anti-war.

Every time he is caught in a lie, he never confesses and continues to lie about an incident as if he had no conscience and he tries to twist the truth/allegation!

We find Mr. Sinclair to be most credible and we saw the video of his press conference, where journalist instead of asking questions of Mr. Sinclair in an effort to determine truth, used questions to condemn Mr. Sinclair and they tried to make him look bad!

This can not be, not especially in our nation of upright laws and good people!

For these and many other reasons, Mr. Obama should either explain, relinquish his candidacy, and come clean. Doing so for our nation’s good!

Last time I checked, you don't start a sentence with a lower cased letter and after referring to someone by name, try using a comma and not a period. This makes you appear to be illerate as well.

Sonia. when you are writing the contraction “don’t” you do not use a comma…you use an apostrophe. As you can see as it is used in this post…Using a comma makes whatever you are trying to say, appear illiterate and nobody pays attention to any thing you might have had to say. get some education

this reminds me of a scene in a movie where a smitten teenager writes his teacher a love letter and gets it back with the punctuation and spelling corrected.

don't pay attention to the content, old lady, just keep worrying about the form.

What's amazed me is that they ignored the obvious from Day 1. Exit polling was consistent throughout the race. A clear 25-38% of voters told pollsters that they would vote for McCain over Obama.

In state after state. Didn't matter if you were a Reagan Dem from Ohio or a working gal from WVA.

Now, these editorial writers are feeding off of some silly idea that it's all about the group of us who are women and mad? Nonsense.

I can't see a guy from PA particularly getting involved in Just Say No Deal. He'll just either not vote this year or go vote for McCain.

I think Obama needs to stop worrying about the women entirely and focus on the many other constiuents that he's pushed away. He botched the wooing of Jewish Dems to the point it could be hopeless. Yesterday's remark about getting over it may have ticked off some women to the point they are lost. Women get really irked when they hear certain phrases such as that one. It's sexist.

He should work on the Latinos for awhile. They aren't exactly in the bag for him.

On the other hand, these editorials are really drawing attention to PUMA.

*woohoo!

Believe, I do believe that you are wrong I called the DNC months ago to take my name off lists, that
now will be a independent, but I'm still getting
phone calls, emails and mail from the post office
BEGGING me for money if everything was so good why
are they still begging for money? Had to tell
Obama's people on the phone yesterday 2 times will not be giving any money and will be voting for Sen McCain, and to please take my name off their lists that I had voted for, given money to
most Democratic canididates but for the way Obama
has treated, will no longer give any money
to any Democrat who helped in swift boating Hillary!!

Have you forgotten Peter that John Kerry begged him to be his running mate in 2004? a heart beat away from the Whitehouse!! and to show you what a good man Sen. McCain is do you remember he spoke
very well of Sen. Kerry and defended him against
the swift boaters! unlike Sen Kerry who was on the tv news shows talking bad about Sen. McCain
and not one person asked him if he was so bad why did he want Sen. McCain as his Vice President.
