Team Obama did exactly the same thing to the Clintons. It is really unfortunate that the UnDemocratic Party is complicit in this charade. But, why am I surprised they used sexism against one of there own. I will not reward this type of behavior.

He’s bringing it up now to keep it from being a shock, and to get us in the right mind set for when it happens. It won’t be used by the McCain campaign, but will likely start with innuendo and small examples. Then, the Michelle tape will explode and by then, it won’t be a shock to the public. Obama was very insidious in his use of race in the primary and making it look like the Clintons did it.

O’Reilly commented on Imus tonight. The people who screamed the loudest about Imus last time didn’t so much as sneeze today because it would make Obama look bad - they don’t want to cry wolf until just the right time.

And by the way, Imus said nothing that was racist yesterday.

I think this is another great cartoon. It exposes the Obama persuasion machine. Obama is fishing for white fish and hopes that all white fish will go for the special bait he is selling. I am sure there are many white voters who will be eager to be the fist to take the bait, just to prove how liberal they are and that they do not have a prejudice bone in their body. All this without even a thought to wither Obama, based on no experience, is capable to solve the many serious problems we face in this country and in the world.

Keep the cartoons coming and hopefully more people will start to wake up and think for themselves.

What makes Obama’s race card such an effective weapon is that it is virtually impossible to accuse him of using it. He is the oppressed minority. You don’t question oppressed minorities in this country. Anything they define as racism is accepted almost without question. To do so is to prove your a racist. As Al Sharpton purports…you’re a racist unless you prove otherwise..David Plouffe, Obama’s campaign manager, sees WHITE RACISM as a problem in the general election.

To me, BO is just another dirty politician. The fact that he uses race as a weapon speaks volumes about his inadequacies and his need to deflect attention from them.

In truth, he’s just another middle class white guy with a tad more melanin than some of us. Michelle and Uncle Jeremiah are his passports into black America.

I am so disgusted with this tactic that I want to put it out there for all to see. I drafted the following to my statewide newspaper. I think its important to preempt Obama playing victim and using race to scare people. what do you think?

In a disturbing sign for democrats, Barack Obama recently declared that he is readying himself for “racist attacks from republicans”. He also has asserted that republicans will attempt to “scare” Americans by pointing out that Obama is “black and has a feisty wife”.

By playing the “race card” so early, Obama is signaling to everyone—not just republicans—that any criticism of Barack Obama is “racist”. Obama’s surrogates have already begun to label democratic non-Obama supporters as “racist”. This is plainly a fear tactic: if you don’t vote for Obama, you are a racist. While pretending to be “above race”, Obama is actually using his skin color to deflect questions and to threaten people into voting for him.

Excuse me, but this life-long democrat does not approve of these tactics. My questions about Obama have nothing to do with race, and everything to do with whether this man has the qualifications to lead our country.

For example, I want to know if sitting in a church for 20 years that espoused hatred for the United States and Black Liberation Theology—which has at its core the hatred of white people—has influenced his beliefs and philosophy in leading the United States…

Obama’s inoculation technique may have already lost the Democrats the NH senate seat. How so? Obama inoculated his drug habit in his book. Hillary’s NH campaign manager, Sheenan merely asked if voters were interested in Senator Obama’s drug problem. Sheenan’s wife is running for Senate. He had to be removed from the Clinton campaign and that Stigma is hurting the senatorial race.

Unity is right off of I91 which makes it a reasonable trip from Springfield MA, Boston Ma, Hartford CT, Albany NY, and of course parts of NH and VT. You can map quest it and simply put in Unity Elementary School in place of “business” Unity is a town of only 1,700 so I doubt that there will be a crowd of 10,000. A couple hundred Puma’s would make the news and the place will be crawling with national media because this the first appearance of Hillary and Obama together. If only handful of us show up it will be dismissed, no doubt, as those disgruntled people, but if a few hundred show up……….
So who’s up for this? Bring a pair of flip flops.

I loved when he said hillary tax cuts would hurt the economy and lose thousands of jobs. If that isn’t using fear, i don’t know what is. if i pay 19 cents and instead another party pays 19 cents, the gov gets 19 cents. the reason they said jobs would be lost is, ….. wait for it….. “no one is buying gas”. so jobs will be lost because less gallons are being bought and that revenue will be lost. but had we set up the tax break it would have started an investigative infrastructure to look at gas pricing. it would have been a democratic tax break and hillary would have made it work.

I think I am a typical white person (thank you Barack). I was never particularly suspicious of black people, and actually had sympathy for black problems (thank you Canada).
I think this “inoculation” may backfire. I am getting so sick of every second news story being about perceived racism that I now cringe in anticipation every time I see a black male commentator, before he even opens his mouth. I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way and I can’t see how this is going to help Obama in the election. Just being honest.

He has used this same technique with Hillary from day one — he would say: watch out! she will do this to us (whatever that may be and whether she does it or not) and fools that his supporters are, have believed that she really did. Despicable is all I can I say.

Since O’boy put the Race Card back into play for the general election all by his lonesome, I feel I must contribute to the backlash that has already begun.

It is well documented that Obama has flip flopped on every issue. In fact, he can’t seem to make up his mind on his own race. In front of a black crowd, he says he’s black. When he needs white votes he invokes his mothers white family, then he slyly says “and did I mention that I’m Black?”

Obama has been schooled well. One of the tenets of Marxist/Lenist Communism was, or is, that the ‘how’ of winning didn’t matter. Revolution brought out the old axiom ‘by any means possible’, and when the Bolshivieks went to sleep at night they were comforted with the thought that the end justified the means. In this respect keep in mind who his mentor was in Hawaii.
Racism is merely a means, and a propoganda weapon that is being used to manipulate white voters who have been re-educated by the media into feeling quilty. What is being hatched up in the Obama Campaign headquarters is the result of psychological operations modeled after those used by our government agencies against enemies of America. With money flowing like it is, in a similar fashion to Richard Nixon what was able to bring to bear during his two campaigns, is it any wonder that the best minds of our generation are being used to sell Obama? There are, of course, mercernaries of all kinds willing to sell their tradecraft to the highest bidder. You can be assured that even if there are no ‘plumbers’ working for the Obama Campaign, somewhere in deep cover men with trained minds are thinking up ways to control how voters view Obama. And as far as the young minds who are marching in his parade, a quick flashback through history supports the notion that those who are most succeptible to manipulation, and most naive, are those with little or no experience in the real world. However, what happened in 1917 is reflected in the images of Che that adorn more than a few walls of those who are Obama volunteers.
It is also helpful to consider that in Chicago, William Ayers, who slips in and out of focus in the larger context of Obama’s public persona, is himself a self-styled follower of revolution. One who was not stymied by morality when it came to expressing his own discontent.
Be assured, Obama is a well funded threat to McCain and will express ideas that, while distorted, are aimed at altering the general public’s perception of what they should ‘think’ is right. If you have read George Orwell, you will understand that ‘he who controls the past, controls the future’. Thus much of what Obama says about himself, his family, and other topics that relate to his own history while not exactly true have enough similitude to alter the moment, which then becomes a point of reference in the future. This same methodolgy applies to your enemy. Of course, for him the enemy is always the person standing between him and the next level in his career. The only problkem is that once he becomes POTUS all that has been hidden in his mind will become possible, and only by looking at his past associations can we get an idea of what he is capable. I’ll leave that for later.

The RNC and any legitimate McCain surrogates are unlikely to ever use a race card, not because they will play nice but because they don’t have to. They have lots of other material to work with.

Why did Ob get up to 90% of the African-American vote? Were they all convinced his policies were so much better than Hillary’s? They voted for Ob because he is a member of their race. I see no problem in supporting a member of your race and for feeling proud that for the first time, a member of your race could be President of the United States.

Race has a role in this election. Ob can’t hide from it on one hand, and embrace it on the other.
It is what it is. Ob has used Race to his benefit.
Even to talk about any of Ob’s positions in the negative automatically brands you as a Racist. This is how Ob plays the card.

He gets to do the very things that no one else is allowed to do–point out that he’s the black candidate, accuse his opponents of being racist, and at the same time, create white guilt by implying that if you don’t support him, you’re a racist like “them.”

To tell you the honest-to-god truth, I’m getting sick to death of this constant discussion of race that has permeated the airwaves, with pundits, and special documentaries, and analysis about RACE, RACE, RACE.

Have you noticed? Suddenly there are black pundits, columnists, and political analysts filling the airwaves supporting posing as non-partisan analysts, of course, but always messaging their analysis with subtle accusations of racism, or reports about how race affects voting patterns, or shallow, inane and vapid commentary about Obama’s prospects as a black candidate.

Yet not one of them EVER–and I mean NOT EVER–discusses the fact that 90%+ of black voters cast a vote for Barack Obama. It is as if THAT particular–and in my mind, particularly salient–fact is taboo!

Why? Because the media narrative is all about how white voters are RACISTS, but black voters cannot be racist [that is apparently incomprehensible to the media propagandists].

I am outraged at the media and Obama j’accuse that I am a racist because I will not choose a candidate based on race or gender, but because of their experience, qualifications for leadership, or their character, or adherence to principles and values and ideals I hold close to my heart [like the 4th amendment].

obama is an Arrogant, Radical FRAUD - and he will never be elected!!! - This guy is NOT qualified to lead our counry. So….McCain - 2nd BEST choice.

Buzz up!on Yahoo!Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign has prepared a detailed memo listing various instances in which it perceived Sen. Hillary Clinton’s campaign to have deliberately played the race card in the Democratic primary.

The memo, which was obtained by the Huffington Post and has been made public elsewhere, is believed to have been given to an activist and contains mostly excerpts from different media reports. It lists the contact info and name of Obama’s South Carolina press secretary, Amaya Smith, and is broken down into five incidents in which either Clinton, her husband Bill, or campaign surrogates made comments that could be interpreted as racially insensitive.

BROWSING THE LANGUAGE news online recently, I found a lively debate underway at the MSNBC politics blog. The news item sparking the discussion was a note on Barack Obama’s colloquial language; he was already telling voters not to be bamboozled or hoodwinked by his opponents, not to fall for the okey-doke. And in St. Louis, the MSNBC reporter said (mistakenly, it now appears), he added hornswoggled to the list.

Some of us would be happy to hear more colorful language on the campaign trail. But a number of blog commenters had a problem with bamboozle and hoodwink. “Some of these terms are straight out of Malcolm X or Jesse Jackson speeches,” said one. “But it is OK if Obama plays up his race, right?”

Now, Obama’s “okey-doke,” meaning “con” – mid-20th-century slang – is indeed primarily black English, my dictionaries say. But what do bamboozle and hoodwink, those showy synonyms for “deceive,” have to do with race?

Further searching unearthed the answer, a theory that has percolated in the Democratic blogosphere since the candidates’ spat last month over who was playing the race card. Obama’s verbs, according to this analysis, were chosen to echo a speech by the eponymous hero of Spike Lee’s 1992 “Malcolm X,” and thus to send a secret message.

i’ve been feeling the manipulating and accusatory rhetoric from the blablah camp and media surrogates since the beginning. but to see that the psych-op is so deeply embedded in the manchurian candidate game plan really makes me want to vomit.

so many folks, just too busy, or not finding access to the facts, are quite blind and deaf to this activity. i’m only aware since i’ve found the other media here on the web, and even here one has to be able to discriminate regarding the kool aid imbibers and psych-op pap.

this site manages to stay very emotionally/intellectually clear, and cleanly informative, and at times, the remarks towards the trolls are laugh out loud hilarious. it’s the site i hop onto first thing. Larry, thanks. it’s the anti-dote to the obama spin serum that is flooding the nation’s consciousness as we lead up to the GE.

my resistance to voting repub/McCain is ingrained, though i have often trumpeted that i want McCain to win.
i will definitely not vote for obama and his lot.

as Tina Fey says in her sitcom: “i’m telling all my friends i’ll be voting for obama, but i will secretly be voting for John McCain”.

People are smart enough to know that Obama is just feeding the situation and trying to make problems where there are not. Did anyone notice that the source of this story is CNN? The b.o. camp pretty much owns CNN. His major advertising dollars are going to the political page on their web site…. DON’T go there, don’t feed their numbers. The numbers are what they use to bring on more advertising dollars from other vendors. CNN is SO bias and no wonder the story came from them. I saw it on aol and it had the quote from obama then it said “cnn source” It just makes me go for McCain even more. Honest Man McCain…….Even if he doesn’t stand for everything I do, at least I know where he is coming from. I’m sick of CNN and of course b.o.’s tactics.

Most of you don’t follow faith, and if you did, you are aware that sooner or later the name Prince of Air has a meaning. And, if some of you can’t remember who this individual is ask your clergy. Keep fighting these people, the last thing we want is our Airwaves- completely won over by these darkforces, because we know what the outcome is. They have managed to seduce CNN, even though MSNBC is the Prince of Air’s headquarters and his son, Barack, has a pillow there to lay on, don’t let them seduce FOX- keep sending them anything you see that is out of the ordinary concerning the Prince’s son. It is extremely important that our airwaves are not control by these evildoers.

BO’s ethnicity was in this from the beginning, of course, and it was up to him to convince voters that it did not drive his policies. But, then Michelle told a newsperson that when blacks saw that whites would vote for hubby, they’d be out for him in droves. He didn’t dispute her words. Then came the race-baiting debacle in SC. From then on BO owned his race and all the assumptions that go with it, for good or ill. If some white people are nervous about having a black Prez, it was up to him to dispel their anxiety. It doesn’t matter if they have good reason to be uneasy or even whether it’s outright racist, if Obama wanted to win, he had to deal with the problem. He had to ease their doubts, but he has only increased them. He’s made people uncertain about him as a black candidate by his wife’s words and his associations with black racists. He can’t put the genie of fear back in the bottle by playing minority victim. Anyone who responds to that is already in his sway, and there are a lot more people on the opposite side.

Great cartoon and accompanying sophisticated comments and link. As usual with your cartoons, you really hone in on important issues voters need to be aware of as we approach the GE. A number of people who have commented on your cartoon are clearly aware of and sickened by the race baiting that has been going on and by the media bias that perpetuates it ad nauseum. It is unfortunate that the behavior of the BO campaign has led many of us to consider switching our support to McCain, because even though we disagree with many of his stances on issues, he is looking more and more like the lesser of 2 evils. Too bad there is no viable 3rd option. Although this is off-topic, I have to add that I am disturbed by the fact that Hillary, who was my clear choice, is now backing Obama allegedly to help assure a Dem in the White House. And that hubby Bill is also offering to help him get elected. Something very disingenuous about this. No wonder the PUMAs are boiling mad.
