Pfleger’s comment regarding the Church and Politics as follows:

The Church has to be the one to be the voice of Conscience to the world and can’t be afraid to be that, so it has to speak to politics and to policies, and to politicians… Ours is not to ever be controlled by politics but to speak to politics and to address politics; and to not be afraid of that.

Firstly, the Role of the US Constitution and thus Secular Law is to keep that clean divide between Politics and Religion; and to not be afraid to police that when it becomes clear that Religion has overstepped it’s authority, sanction of protection and in direct confrontation with the US Constitution.

Secondly, the self-egrandizing claim of a “flawless character” is clinically a form of egocentrism.

By the way, a true mystic strives to destroy all Ego to become unified with Self. This guy is no more self-aware of his inner Light than a person picking up a book of fables and stories [badly plagiarized to boot] and proclaiming to preach the Word.

The number one factor we must descriminate upon is Ignorance. All races, colors or creeds are latent with Ignorance.
