“Hound Is Not Anti-Puma”: You SURE, Ed?

“LMS Says:

June 29, 2008 at 3:52 am
I will help.
PUMA’s are a lot of hot air, and need to be putdown.. Actually, ridiculing them is much easier.”

Now let’s see if I have this right, Ed Rendell. You say,

“One last point – HOUND is not anti-PUMA. We agree with many of your grievances. For example, we, too, believe that the Democratic Party’s nominating process is unfair and undemocratic.”

Really Ed. Hound is not Anti-Puma? Then what do you call these clowns? Don’t you find it kind of amusing that their site url is named “Yes To Democracy“? See what you started? Thanks for the publicity! We had no idea you “called us out”. I must have read your statement wrong!

“Sign the petition and expose Puma“???? What’s to expose, Ed? I kinda think we are already pretty transparent. We. Will. Not. Vote. For. Comrade. Obama.

Say I have an idea. How about if the HOUND followers use the Race Card on us? I mean, we only get to hear the all-purpose ….yawn….Race Card once every twenty minutes, you know?. One problem though. It won’t change our votes. In fact, being harassed even more by these thugs might make us vote even earlier in the day!

Here’s Yes To Democracy’s “Anti-Puma” logo, Ed. You sure HOUND isn’t Anti-PUMA? I mean, they mention you on their Together We Can Stop Puma page and all over the site. Stop us from what, Ed? Voting? What’s the goal here, Ed? Bullets to the head on Election Morning? Just wondering.

Let’s face it, Ed. Obama followers are savages and thugs. Not nice people, Ed. You can’t take them anywhere. They even want to shut down the only forum left we weren’t banned from long ago (just for supporting Hillary, Ed). These are Comrades, Ed. They don’t like dissent. They pretty much don’t like anything other than the worship of a Plastic Jesus- No Questions Asked. That does not resemble Democracy, Ed.

I kind of hate to break this to you, Ed, but the only people who will be joining HOUND are people who already support Comrade Obama. That pretty much renders your organization redundant, don’t you think? I hate to see a cool guy like you do all that extra work for nothing–unless maybe you are going to haul us off to Camp X-Ray for not Obeying The Messiah.

We aren’t sucking up to Comrade Obama. We don’t forgive “unfair” and “undemocratic”. We prefer to remain in a Democracy, if you don’t mind. That’s not small stuff, Ed, you know?

We also don’t vote for sexist pigs, or empty suits, or inept lying gasbags. We also don’t vote for people who change their positions every day or so. We also don’t vote for Chicago thugs who steal nominations. And we don’t vote for guys who whine and use the race card every time somebody tries to vet them. We don’t take kindly to bullying either. That pretty much eliminates Comrade Obama.

And That’s final.

But thanks again for the publicity, Ed Rendell and “Yes To Democracy! We appreciate it! XXOO!

I think Ed Rendell would join PUMA if he could. A lot of his wording suggests he isn’t against us at all. And forming HOUND gave us great publicity! He had to know that would happen. I don’t know… I’m still not sure about him. Being from PA, I’ve always liked him.

Comment by trist | 2008-06-30 02:31:22

That’s just what I posted on that yes to democracy sight. I just can’t believe Ed. would turn like this, he seemed to really care about fair play and true leadership.
I think this is a clever ploy on his site to help the movement gain coverage and stoke the fires of dissent to insure we succeed in keeping the Messiah out of power.

Well, I hope that’s it. I don’t like thinking of the other explanation, that Ed was slipped some of the kool-aid!

Comment by KarenAnn | 2008-06-30 07:54:31

Ed Rendell didn’t drink the Kool-aid. Oh no no no. He made the mistake of falling asleep and he was kidnapped, body and soul, by the Pod People.

My take is this: Rendell was one of the strongest, visible and articulate supporters of HRC. He is also hugely popular. Being the good Dem that he is he has to support BO. If not and BO gets in, his state will suffer in regard to fiscal support as well as he would not get any national congressperson or senator to help him campaign etc. I’ll bet that silently he hopes for a crash and burn.
The HOUND thingy does not look like Rendell’s style. I firmly believe it is a Obama campaign initiated and run tool and because of Rendell’s popularity and visibility they ‘made’ him put his name to it, especially because they need PA. So, it seems to me that for them to do this they are worried no matter what they say.

I like that line in the accompanying image, the one that reads “together we can stop PUMA”.

What a laugh. How in the hell are they going to “stop” PUMA? Stop our thought processes?

Well yeah, they would actually do that if they could. And..it would be complete in line with everything else they have done. But that is quite impossible, even for the sainted, messianic, Obama movement!

PUMA does have some organizations, and thankfully they are growing fast. However, PUMA is more mental than anything else. It is our mind-set, our determination, our resolve.

The seeds of resistance regarding the unity mantra have been planted. Each of us individually, and collectively, will tend to such based on our own rationales and principles. We will stop the DNC and Obama.

Comment by Dakinikat | 2008-06-30 10:14:15

That one has me ROFLMAO and looking in my checking account for checks from McCain Camp or Republican Party. Nope, not there yet. Go ahead and look into PUMAs. Find out that it’s a grassroots movement against an Obamanation and DNC machine.

There is no headquarters, no bank accounts, no centralized group of leadership (although every one looks like they’re joining forces now) and certainly no republican shepherds. What a group of morans!

Comment by derridog | 2008-06-30 10:23:07

Yes. I thought he was great in the primaries. He’s doing what he has to do. I hope Obama doesn’t pick him for VP, though. I don’t want Obama to use a good person just to bolster his shabby credentials.

Comment by Hillary'sSimplytheBest | 2008-06-30 11:01:09

Good one Uppity Woman, liked the Elvis video at the end … just prefect.

This is not really Rendell’s style, have you seen him on FOX lately? His support for BOBO is so blah, and cold. I do not see the same enthusiasm that he had when supporting Hillary. He seems to be barely there, like his hearts not really in it at all.

Comment by No to B.O.= Body Odor & B. Obama | 2008-07-01 14:49:34

You try supporting Obama and see if you can come up with anything positive about him…it’s an impossible task!!! You constantly have to be on the defensive and play dirty since your candidate has nothing to recommend himself. Guess that’s what happens when you nominate an empty suit.

I appreciate your post’s exposing the totalitarian Marxist overthrow of our democrat party. This is History repeating itself. Most Obamashirts don’t know squat about the historical struggles humans have undertaken in the past hundred years.
The dictators of the world love Obama because he is one of them.

Here’s what the “anti-PUMA” are saying:

“We are against people who think for themselves; we are against those who will not goosestep with us behind Comrade Obama. We demand conformity to The Party Line.”

Sorry, losers.

You — and BaJoke — are on the way down.

America doesn’t do fascism, nor Che-ism. We value independence and individualism.

Suck the Kool-Aid hard; you’re going to need comforting on November 5th when you’re golden calf heads to the scrap heap.

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-06-30 01:25:58

The Obama people miscalculated.
They thought that because of the Iraq war that everyone must be Anti-American and want to abdicate our position in the world.
All Americans have needed is a reason to be patriotic again.
Obama is the new Carter.
Moderates and independents are flocking to McCain because we love our country and are willing to defend it against Neo Socialism

Comment by Paul F. Villarreal | 2008-06-30 01:38:13

Amen to that.

I love this country, with all its flaws.

And I don’t want it turned over to a Che-revering, anti-American Manchurian Candidate like BaJoke.

Sorry, but if I have to choose between Ofraudma or McCain preventing another 9/11, I will choose McCain 365 days a year and 366 for a leap year.

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-06-30 01:46:06

I also give credit where it is do. We still have not been attacked again since 911.
I was against the Iraq war and it’s prosecution
However,we are there and the terrorists are on the run. We have shown the world that America has balls and McCain was correct about not having enough troops and about the surge.

War is not pretty or fair but protecting the western worlds vital interests and America is worthy of our troops efforts.
Obama people don’t grasp this simple fact.

It’s either us or them who control the resources.

Comment by WildChild | 2008-06-30 01:23:02

The party undermining was done when the party gave BOBO delegates he never earned.

Comment by beebop | 2008-06-30 06:31:07

Listen. If the Democratic party wants to jettison from its platform all that has historically been an integral part of its platform, it needs to understand that its membership is not going to sit still and not protest. Many of us have been members of this party far longer than BoBo the clown and we plain don’t like what he is doing to OUR PARTY. Get it?

Comment by rwc | 2008-06-30 01:23:23

Herr Rendell sure has the vote for Dear Leader or else! routine down.

What does he thinks this is, Nazi Germany and he’s a Brownshit for Dear Leader?

Because thats what Rendell comes off as.

Got news for Herr Rendell, this is America. We don’t take orders from political stooges and butt lickers.

We vote for whom we damn well please and no bullshit corporate funded PR front like HOUND is going to tell us any different.

So screw you Rendell, go take your camouflaged “one people, one party, one leader” party line crap and stand in front of a speeding train.

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-06-30 01:25:49

I am surprised that Rendell hasn’t said “Well, I can’t control what those other guys do.” And the answer is “Maybe not, but until you try, you and Obama own it“.

Comment by msindy | 2008-06-30 06:24:43

Very mean-spirited of Rendell.

We’ve been treated badly by the party, our voices shut off.

So we form a group where we can at least gather together.

Instead of free speech with dignity, he turns on us.

REPREHENSIBLE.

ONE OF THE GOOD OLE BOYS – Rendell takes his seat along with Obama, Kerry, Kennedy, Dean, and yes, Nancy Pelosi (biggest good ole boy of them all) – women are jokes, and their rights come AFTER the boys get power in the party and decide what crumbs to throw them.

Comment by Uppity Woman | 2008-06-30 07:21:02

This is not Rendell’s site though. It’s an Obama follower’s site. It’s an example of what he started though–and how it can be seized upon in a redirect. For example, Rendell never “Called Puma Out” as the headline suggested.

I had an exchange with her at my blog and it seems that she perceives PUMA as……

A Swiftboat organization. All righty. PUMA=swiftboar. Moveon=not swiftboat. What you don’t like is a swiftboar. What you love isn’t.

I explained that there is nothing to “expose” since the org is pretty up front, that not only can it not be shut down but it should not be “shut downable” since this is America. There were all the regular talking points. Misled about the reality of roe v wade and how democrats use it to keep women in line, when in fact it’s going nowhere. Worst that could happen is it becomes a state issue and that won’t happen either.

He probably wants to expose us as the republicans they all think we are. Very good. I never did change my voter registration form democrat, so I hope they check on me! I had planned to go no party affiliation, but then I may miss out on all the nice emails and usps stuff from the dems. Now I get all the info from both parties. I will do this forever. It is good to know what both sides are doing!

Comment by Susan | 2008-06-30 05:32:32

I changed my party registration a few years ago from democratic to unenrolled, so after the DNC RBC fiasco, I was wishing I was still a democrat so I could change then. I had to settle for getting my 51 year old life-long democratic husband to switch to unenrolled!

Comment by pw | 2008-06-30 09:46:32

My mother-in-Law lives in Florida, and she has always been Republican. This year she was going to change to Democratic,so she could vote for Hillary. She is going to change now to independent, just in case.

Comment by msindy | 2008-06-30 06:30:45

I switched to Independent, and am glad I did.

I have been in back rooms where the power elite of the party are throwing around people’s lives over the years.

It DOES matter to them that people leave the party – they watch these and other numbers closely.

It’s a game to them – a real life video game they are playing, but with peoples’ lives.

I have seen grown men get into email list wars to see who has the most subscribers and try to get each others’ lists (so I recommend unsubscribing as well and be sure to tell them why).

It’s one of the ways they will pay attention to us.

oh, and by nice stuff, I meant the stuff I get to send a nasty reply back to.

Do this:

when Obama sends you a note begging for cash, write PUMA, Go McCain ‘08 on the envelop and send some monopoly money or a gum wrapper or something. On the front of the return envelope where it says Barack Obama, add loser next to his name and where it says Obama for America, cross out Obama and write bad for America. It then looks like this

Barack Obama- loser
Bad for America

Man, I love doing that. It’s on their stamp, too! I bet they really hate us!

He might as well have named it DUFUS.

It can be and I very much hope so. In the HOUND Credo there is a nice fat insult at the end:

Either he lost his marbles or he is smart and doesn’t want results. I am pretty sure, he wouldn’t write this if he wanted.

Comment by Acaha | 2008-06-30 01:37:24

Not going to be partaking of the DNC koolaid. Not going to happen.

I put my country before my now ex-party.

PUMAs have legitimate grievances that will not be assuaged with a pat on the head and a “that’s a good girl.”

The first grievance is you nominated the wrong person — fix that RIGHT NOW and send that lying unqualified charlatan packing and I come back to the party. I will vote for Hillary, I will campaign for her. I will send money to the DNC and help elect down ticket Dems as well.

If not, you know my answer.

Just as a matter of curiosity, Chairman Dean — how is all of Senator Obama’s private fundraising going?
Under performing now, is he?

Now that the Republicans have no more reason to fund and prop up his campaign just so they could get rid of Hillary first. Guess who bought the koolaid, Dr. Dean — it wasn’t us — ti was the DNC when you saw all the $$$$$ signs. Rove has played you again.

And now we are going to play you, too.

This is your punishment for throwing the best, most prepared and caring candidate we have had in ages under the bus and nominating an empty suit — we are going to elect a moderate Republican for you.

I understand there is also a comprehensive list of every single Super Delegate that came out to endorse the fraud on or before June 3rd — we plan on voting against them, too, as their judgment is obviously suspect and likewise clouded by $$$$ signs, and they can no longer be trusted to have our best interests at heart.

You may even lose some seats this year — how’s John Kerry’s race looking? — He’s actually got a fight on his hands. How about Wexler?

Also, a lot of Obama’s supporters are voting for their candidate only — you know, kind of like American Idol — they may not even be aware of the rest of your down-ticket candidates — remember in the primary how many of them left the down ticket dems part of the ballot blank. They, too, left you swinging in the wind for your “messiah.”

Wow. How’s that feel, Dr. Dean. To be abandoned? To be told that your needs or concerns don’t matter. Like we were told that the person who won all the big states, save Illinois, all the swing states and a huge electoral map majority should get lost and we should “get over it”.

Quite obviously, the Dem Party has been hijacked by elites who could give a crap about the rest of the party. Don’t worry. We intend to return the favor.

This is not going away. We will rid ourselves of the cancer that you and Pelosi, Reid, Kerry and Brazile have created with your arrogant dismissive election-fixing attitude.

We will remember in November.

Yet, Yet…they aren’t living under any kind of government that respects THEM or their interests! And Iraq war or no Iraq war, they’re willing to let us fight war on terrorism ourselves. Yeah, right! Comment by JozefAL | 2008-06-30 02:18:39

Okay, you need to do a little reading on European History from the 1960s through the 1990s.
EVERY WESTERN EUROPEAN NATION endured TERRORISM on a level that affected everyone in those nations to a degree that this country only came close to understanding on 9/11.
The UK dealt with the IRA (not only in Northern Ireland but also in Great Britain itself; a number of bombings took place throughout the country, but the majority were located in London). West Germany had the Baader-Meinhoff Gang. Italy had the Red Brigades (for crying out loud, one of the country’s most beloved Prime Ministers–Aldo Moro–was EXECUTED by Red Brigades terrorists). Spain dealt with ETA (the Basque separatists), both under the Franco regime and post-Franco years. Turkey had to deal with Armenian terrorists (and, I’d note that several Turkish consuls in THIS country were assassinated in the late 1970s). The combined deaths in all these terrorist attacks far surpasses the 3000+ from 9/11. And, in not one single instance did the United States offer to help go after these terrorist organizations in the way that we DEMANDED our NATO allies do (Dubya invoked a NATO article that forced the allies to “declare war” on al-Qaeda, yet no NATO allied leader had ever invoked that article when fighting terrorists themselves).
And, you might recall that while this country hasn’t had any further terrorist incidents, the UK and Spain HAVE. You blithely mentioned Madrid as though it was nothing. But, Spain lost 191 people in that incident. That, given the size of Spain relative to the US, was the equivalent of nearly half as many who died on 9/11.

Another example of the level of tolerance and understanding of International politics that exists on this site. It does not surprise me given who this blog belongs to.

Iraq was never about Al Queda; they were never in Iraq – just as Sadam did not have weapons of Mass Destruction. The invasion of Iraq helped to spread Al Queda across the Middle East.

These American elections are important to the rest of the World as it signals that America may take its role as the only current World superpower seriously; hence the high levels of support enjoyed by Obama. Your little group of bigots are the personification of type of insensitive policies that the World hopes America leaves behind.

Comment by MBC | 2008-06-30 17:30:39

We are not a little (or large) group of bigots. We are a group of people who are witnessing our democracy being hijacked, just like the run-up to war in Iraq, the MSM, the powers to be, etc. are trying to tell us to accept something that we know in our “gut” is very, very wrong! Some of us may say things that are out of line, but for the most part it is out of a feeling of terror/despair that some of America is falling for this fraud and charlatan, just like they fell for GW eight years ago. WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE A REPEAT OF GW, i.e. incomptent, inexperienced, arrogant, intolerant, STUPID!, etc.

Loved the Puma Petition! It’s been up all day & it only has 78 signups…most of which are Pumas! So funny!

Interesting development?

The following web site claims to have found the missing state seal on Obama’s birth certificate.

I checked it out earlier. I wrote down the instructions they issued on how to bring up the seal from the back using photoshop & it did NOT work. I played around with it & could not get the seal. I don’t think it is there. If you want info about the bc, check out polarik:

I also tried the instructions they listed and I also was unable to produce the same results. They seem to have added more fuel to the fire, IMHO. They could be right about one thing – it may simply be a distraction from larger, as of yet, unpublished issues.

America the Land where the peoples’ votes don’t count. Nice going Ed Rendell and the rest of the DNC delegates et al. And the Media for allowing it to go on without a word – with no shame. They will all be remembered with revulsion for having cost democracy in America to wither and die. America, where super delegates give their votes away against the will of their constituents in their districts and states. Is that democratic? The Republicans have that right at least – one person – one vote and all counted. No caucuses where DNC/Obama thuggery occurs and delegates and media turn a blind eye.

You know those third world countries where people don’t have a vote or if they do it doesn’t count? Sound familiar? It should – it is America 2008.

America sends its troops to those third world countries to bring American democracy and way of life to them. That is a joke! The world and history will be astounded at the downfall of this country.

Succeeding generations will wonder what happened this year – at the beginning of the 21st Century when America lost its soul.

UNLESS WE CAN STOP IT NOW – We must for America and true Democracy.

Comment by NoToDisenfranchisement | 2008-06-30 02:52:50

one of the people on bitterpoliticz on wordpress said that they got an email back from Howard Dean who said that they intend to have a roll call for Clinton delegates and that anything otherwise was a “malicious” “rumor.”

SO – Howie, why don’t you say that to millions of us on TV if you’re willing to send it as an email.

Comment by karen for Clinton | 2008-06-30 06:31:46

Not only that but will the Roll call be the one that is fair reflection? There’s the rub.

They’ve been replacing Clinton supporting delegates and strong arming the rest to this so-called UNITY BS.

If they do not turn over their undemocratic RBC decision then their “roll call” will be mostly just for show.

She won, they can’t change that no matter what “dog and pony” show they pull at Denver.

I read on a site last night that this woman had a niece in Iraq in the military. The niece stood behind a reporter from ABC who interviewed 60 GI’S.
She asked them who they were voting for. 54 McCain, 3 Obama, 2 Hillary. The niece emailed her mom and told her to watch the report, as she thought her mom would be able to see her. When the report was aired, the GI was not shown, and the reporter said the vote was 3 Obama, 2 Hillary. She did not mention the 54 that voted for McCain. ……..TYPICAL BIASED MEDIA still on their lying track

Obama and his followers are control freaks and they have started a smear campaign against PUMAs. They want to shut us down and we won’t let them. Have they forgotten about 1st amendment rights?
The car vandalism in Florida sounds bad – blaming it on the PUMAs. We must fight back against the smear campaign. How’s the PUMA group doing on finances? We need to denounce the smearing loud and clear.

Comment by educatedwhitewoman | 2008-06-30 08:12:29

I think the Obamatrons are furious over their failure to control the message “post selection.” Axelrod and his troops used every dirty trick in the book to steal the election (internet and caucus thuggery, cheating, stealing delegates, threats, blatant sexism, closed-door deals by the Democratic Rules Committee, near total-control of the MSM, moving the DNC to Chicago, etc.) and they thought we wouldn’t notice. How dumb do they think the long-time Democrats are? How little do they respect men and women like Harriet Christian who have worked their entire lives for the Democratic Party, only to be thrown under the bus for the new, the young, the hip, and easily-fooled?

Savvy use of the internet may have helped Obama’s rise to power, but the truth about him will now spread across the internet, no matter how much the Obama campaign uses its vast resources to lie, distort, or to shut down or attack anyone who dares question the plastic Jesus. Shame on you Ed Rendell for joining the Obama cabal. When I picture your “Hound.” I keep seeing images of Nazi hounds hunting down members of the resistance. We won’t fall in line, Ed, no matter what tactics you and the Obamatrons employ.

Hillary said her support of Obama was conditioned on her supporters being treated with respect. How come we are not being treated with respect ED. Are you trying to make Hillary out to be a liar Ed.

You just cant trust the democratic party anymore, it seems 8 years out of power have driven some of its weaker minded members mad with the lust for power.

Comment by Freedom Fighter | 2008-06-30 08:20:54

I think you guys are too hard on Ed Rendell. I mean he is a politician and he will support whoever the party puts forward. I mean if Hillary was the nominee, I am sure all of the Obama backers, maybe with the exception of some of the members of the Congressional Black Caucus, would back Clinton as well. I just can’t picture Ted Kennedy saying he won’t back Clinton if she was the nominee.

Comment by educatedwhitewoman | 2008-06-30 08:44:05

Too hard? I think that the voters who joined PUMA were tired of having no voice in the MSM, over the internet, or their own party! They were sick and tired of having their opinions and views distorted, minimalized, or twisted beyond recognition (e.g., valid criticism reduced to racism and ignorance). Party leaders can “fall in line” – that’s what they did in Nazi Germany. The last time I checked, however, this was still a democracy. We don’t need Ed Rendell or anyone in the DNC telling us what to think or who to vote for.

Comment by ame | 2008-06-30 09:05:19

My dear Freedom Fighter;

When confronted by a momentous decision which was to change the entire course of our country and you know for a fact that there are dangerous people trying to control it, would you side with them for your friends are asking you to or would you side with your family? He had an open window, to say Nay or Yea, and he chose Yea. There is darkness which shrouds the Democrat party today, and this is not the party we once knew. His answer should have been ” Silence”. In many instances there a misconception that the supporters would forgive the ones that say “Yea”, but that is wrong. Look at Kerry, who is struggling with his Yea, with his next re-election. We dont’ forget! We dare never forget that it is the PEOPLE that run this country, not MSM or the emperor with his counselors.

Comment by susan | 2008-06-30 09:55:01

Dean, Pelosi, Reid, and the DNC party elite have had the “fresh candidate” Obama plan in place for so long now, they cannot even imagine defeat in November. You could see the stunned looks on their faces at the dissent toward their candidate at the RBC meeting. You could almost read their thoughts, ” what’s going on here? Don’t they know we know what’s best? That this is a foregone conclusion? That this is the plan? Wait a minute! What’s going on here???”
This is going to be one sadly disillusioned group of folks in November when they finally realize that this is STILL a democracy, that the voters STILL have a say, that votes DO count, and that the sacred right to vote STILL supercedes the arbitrary rules established by a flawed political party. They have become so enmeshed in their own political culture of winning at all costs, employing fraud, deceit, corruption, and party elitism to do so. Well, they are in for the biggest culture shock of their lives. They are about to be witness to something they have long forgotten, democracy in action!! This is going to take place at the polls, and they cannot fool us into sitting out the vote or voting for Nader, or even a write-in vote for Hillary, no, because we KNOW that those votes may not count in many states. We know that the only way to assure DEFEAT of Obama is to cast our votes for John McCain! I am leaving the Dem party to become an independent, and I will be supporting the candidate who has the best chance of winning against Obama in November, because it is time to take our country back from the dictatorial party elite!!!!

I really think there are Chicago style politics going on here and pressuring those in the party to come out and support Obama.

Don’t be quick to group Ed in with the Kerry and Deans of the world. He defended Hillary and she will always be his candidate of choice. Problem here is the pressure I’m certain the Obamabots are putting on him and what he stands to lose in PA if Obama is elected.

Let’s also not forget that Ed is the one who leaked the line about Obama only wanting the checks not the people at the Philly fundraiser.

I heard today also that Pres. Clinton is going to go public and support Obama. There is alot going on behind the scenes that we will never be privied to – no different than the public (wink, wink) meetings to discuss MI and FL.

A Citizen Call for Candidates to Respect the Vote Counting Process
Premature Concessions or Claims of Victory are an Insult to Democracy
ALL BALLOTS MUST BE COUNTED BEFORE A VICTOR IS DECLARED

Candidates have no right to concede a race or claim victory if votes remain uncounted, if recounts are being called for, if allegations of election misconduct exist. Elections are not personal contests between the individual candidates. They are the only basis for legitimate transfer of power in our government, based upon the Will of the People. It is the votes that determine the winner, not the candidates. Therefore candidates have no right to short-circuit the process, but have a duty to the voters to respect it.

Remember the stylus “invisible ink pens given out in the caucuses? Watch the you tube. It was done in very state. Interview people in WA, IL, TX, etc and you see..
I’m not voting for Obama because he rigged the election..reason enough for me..

Watch the invisible ink video.

Voting is not going to change unless we revolt for Democracy. PUMAS don’t back down.

History of Devastating Concessions: Will of the People Ignored
In 2000, many Americans watched in dismay as no U.S. Senator would join with the Congressional Black Caucus to challenge the electors in Florida that emerged from a chaotic and aborted election. Apparently some Senators who might have stood with them were persuaded by Senator and Presidential candidate Al Gore not to do so. In 2004, Senator and Presidential candidate John Kerry conceded the race in the deciding state of Ohio before the vote count was complete and long before recounts and challenges would be decided. His concession came despite his later statement that “There are very troubling questions that have not yet been answered by Ohio election officials.” Despite Kerry’s available funds and lawyers, it took concerned citizens and third party candidates to mount a campaign for a recount in Ohio. More recently we had the 2006 election in California’s CD 50, where election integrity was compromised when election workers took voting machines home for “sleepovers” in the weeks before the election. This flawed election went unchallenged by the “losing” candidate and by her political party. Once again, citizen activists mounted the challenge to the election’s integrity and outcome.
Demoralizing Effect of Candidate Concessions
Concerned citizens who challenge suspect election outcomes have too often found themselves brushed aside with the statement that “The candidate already conceded. Why are you upset?” While Al Gore and John Kerry are the two most high profile candidates to break trust with the voters, candidates at all levels of government need to understand that they are expected to commit themselves to ensuring that elections reflect the Will of the People.
Take Action
Candidates must stand up to the political “schoolyard bullies” who will taunt them with cries of “Sore Loser.” They must put aside their concerns about possible future political comebacks. They must put the voters, the country, and the integrity of our elections first! As a candidate, please commit to respect the integrity of the election process and wait to claim victory or concede defeat until ALL the votes are counted.
Mr Ilke still has a beef to settle with the DNC and FL_MI delegates count..there is no clear nominee yet and Hillary needs to stop stumping for BO..Respect the voters Hillary!

Above all..NEVER FORGET WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR CANDIDATE OF CHOICE AND PLEASE PASS THIS AROUND.
JOIN A GROUP TO TAKE BACK DEMOCRACY AND THE VOTE COUNT..SEND THE MEDIA PACKING.

Rather than saying on that website in the upper right hand corner “Puma condones the theory, inadequate male.” They throw it in as “inadequate BLACK male.”

whether Obama is black, white, yellow, magenta, purple, green, blue etc. He is INADEQUATE.

Comment by am smith | 2008-07-01 21:15:57

If there is a split in the Democratic Party it will not be because of the actions of the Hillary supporters as is being eluded. Any split will be the direct result of the actions of the DNC under the misguided leadership of Howard Dean. Any rift will ultimately become known as the Dean/Obama Schism.

I am sorry but I cannot support or vote for a candidate who’s biggest HOPE is that no one will notice that his only CHANGE is in positions to suit the audience that he is addressing. The candidate has no convictions and therefore cannot show any courage of his convictions.
