Obama caught lying again, on his latest video.Obama says he reformed the welfare programs for jobs, and had the bill signed for the reform. Wrong. The Republicans set the Bill up, and Clinton signed it.

Dick Morris, was on Fox tonite, and said, Mccain should go after Obama on Obama's latest video, because Obama is not telling the truth to the people about the jobs and welfare.

Mccain go get em

Obama would appoint SCOTUS justices who would make Ruth Bader Ginsburg look like a Bircher. No thanks.

Actually, I fear the exact opposite: Obama loves him some Doug Kmiec, a guy who makes Sam Alito look like a vegan pacifist pot smoker. Obama also thought Alito and Roberts were just fine and dandy.

This brings me to tne thing I really find confusing here is the criticism of BO as "too left" or "far-left liberal." This really makes me scratch my head because if he is anything he is a neocon. He's a product of the far-right-wing U of Chicago, he has consistently--read his book--espoused far-right social and economic policies (look at his economic advisors; look at his plans to privatize social security); he has always had a love affair with extreme right-wing religious views and groups; he advocates many, many ideas that are to the right of even many Republicans! To me that's the worst thing about him -- he really WOULD be a third Bush term!!

When people here say the DNC has been hijacked by the far left, I laugh and say "Don't I wish!" If that were true, we'd be looking at a Kucinich nomination (and I for one would find that vastly preferable).

A commeter at another blog (I wish I remembered the name because I'd like to give him/her credit) pointed out that Obama basically fools people into thinking he's a liberal because of his surface (he's a Dem, he's a minority, he's educated, he's urban) but that if you look underneath, at what he actually says and does, he is a straight neocon. The commenter also noted that BO probably only ran as a Democrat because he figured that even with his straight-neocon views, as a black man, he'd have a harder time in the GOP. That's a dead-on analysis.

I think some of us have fallen into that same "he's too liberal!" mindset but it's false. What he really is -- and this is FAR scarier -- is a right-wing conservative wrapped in Democrats' clothing.

This is HUGE - an American presidential nominee who ONLY makes a footnote of freedom. It speaks volumes!

And it does explain a lot.

Running for president with a shockingly lightweight resume--no facts or history to get in the way of telling the people whatever they want to hear? I'd say that's #1.

"Don't worry, he'll appoint good people."

O is the left's W.

Why would McCain hook up Bush's freepers? They never did anything for him. You Obama losers always try to equate McCain with Bush and excuse Obama's fuck-ups by sayin his opponents would have done the same. I figured the new politics BS wouldn't last long. Since you brought it up... why is anyone voting for Obama besides him being black? How does his being black have anything to do with his being scary?

David Axelrod figured out how to package Obama. He is not the Cheney to Obama's Bush. That person has not been introduced yet, but they are there. It will be a person who will "beef up Obama's national security credentials."

You are 100% correct. Are there enough of us out there to stick to our principles of Democracy and flush the rat bastard down the drain?

I certainly hope so otherwise I'm moving out of this country before the brown shirts come to get us.
