One version on the sale from P.B.S: A condition of the sale required the entire parcel to remain intact…for historical reasons. Mrs. Rezko and Mrs. Obama were listed as joint owners of the side lot which was placed in a trust. I don’t know how this effects values and taxes on said property.

You’re giving Bill too much credit by calling him a “progressive.” Obama made his former church and pastors an issue again by advocating Bush’s faith-based initiatives. Perhaps it was racist to wonder if a presidential candidate did despise a majority of the country. His first book which is now out of print says he did. Some of the remarks made by him and his wife have raised eyebrows. But these are mere “distractions” during the “silly season.” Until you want tax dollars for the church, even if it is for secular activities. No. Obama is a grifter, as crooked as the California coastline, and for whatever reason, he has convinced himself that he matters more than the people he is elected to represent. Obama’s racist church was telling when you see him proposing to extend certain Bush policies.

BUT How did she get that much mortgage for that property hundreds of thousands of dollars more than the appraisal value(especially since her income was 37,000) and how was she able to subdivide the lot since the bank still owned it?

Ah, yes! But you forget what Tony paid for his part. Gotta add that in. Seller was not shafted, he was in on it.
It’s not the numbers…
Its the lying about Rezko’s contribution to the deal.
The two purchases are intrinsically connected.
Obama’s loan application says nothing about it.
I’m paraphrasing from memory here but it goes something like, “I hereby swear and attest that the information I have given and entered herein is true to the best of my knowledge and that I have not knowingly falsified any information in this document UNDER PENALTY OF PERJURY.”
That’s basically it. No real wiggle room. The ‘knowingly’ part is hard to unprove.

Might want to check minimum setback regulations for a house in the neighborhood and then see how big a house would fit in Rezko’s lot. (Not Rezko’s now, I know, but for simplification… I mean, there are TROLLS here tonight.)

The land would be good for a two-lane bowling alley or a drive-through car wash but not a very attractive house.
Obama’s ‘extra land’ purchase helped his property but did Extreme damage to Rezko’s. So extreme that it might not even be a buildable lot anymore. If that were the case, the title issue surrounding the whole thing would go south.
Oh yeah, there’s somebody else who could be “Put to the Question.” The Title Company who researched all the before and after record entries might also be “convinced” to cooperate. After all, if the title was “clouded” on Rezko’s wife’s property at the time she sold part to Obama, then the guy she sold the rest to (another Rezko crony) was screwed on his purchase and is a victim too!
Damn, this stuff is fun sometimes…
