FD, usually yes. I just posted downstairs how it would be very easy to simply check against the rate sheet for that day.

However that link to patriot room in the first comment says the pricing was “internal”, which means the lender probably kept the loan on their own books instead of selling it on the secondary market.

Yeah, that’s a special deal.

Been chasin’ that cow for over three months.
Understand a little extra something here. This is Chicago.
A city run by a machine essentially plugged into the financial hepa-filter for EVERY business transaction between the city, county and its subcontractors. These same guys, Rezko, the Guv and Barry are all in this together. (tip of iceberg: see Rezkowatch for all of it and plug your nose)
So, when Mssrs. Obama and Rezko tell someone they’d like to buy their house… for this much… maybe tomorrow a little less… how long do you say no?
This is Chicago we’re talking about. O’Bannion, Capone, Daley, Blagojevich, DaleyII and the Annotated One.
How could it not stink?
Additionally, take a look at the timing of the transactions regarding the re-platting and re-assigning of parcel numbers, then the sale of said new properties. Gotta have a parcel number so you can sell it,tax it, identify its perimeter, calculated its new square footage and see if it meets zoning regulations. If it doesn’t , oops! You’d need a variance wouldn’t you?
How long do you figure in a city the size of Chicago might a little thing like that take the average, union dues paying hog butcher to get done? Six months? Nine? Never inside ninety days… Hell, permits will take more than ninety days!

Obama and Rezko got ‘er done in five days. Start to finish… that’s a wrap! Five Effing days.

If they are going to try and sell us Obama based on a superficial impression the world has of him, perhaps the world would like to have a beer with him and GWB. Right after that, why not go out and elect him President of the World? They like him, they can have him.

Meanwhile, the United States needs a president. We need a really good president. As voters, we have few things we can base our vote on. We can try and assess a candidate’s character. We can judge character based on track record and alliances. Obama has an unusual number of people in his circle who have shown the absolute lowest moral character. What can you say about people who steal from teachers’s pensions and hospitals? Meanwhile, they have to stoop to insulting McCain for being a prisoner of war. But as this writer put so well, it wasn’t the getting shot down that showed character.

It may not take much effort to get shot down, but it must take a considerable act of will to consign oneself to more deprivation and torture. It must take a level of courage unknown to most to place concern for others above one’s own interest. Surely self-sacrifice, courage and loyalty figure somewhere in the calculus for selecting a president.

Nope, the company can only see the resulting tally and not participate in the direct lobbying of the vote. In other words, the union bosses can visit each worker in their home, the company rep can not. the company can only challenge the tally if it has good cause to assert coercion and fraud.
