Now that Hillary isn’t running, her true liberal stripes are showing. We won’t see her riding in pickups with a gun rack any more. She voted against FISA along with the most liberal liberals. See what you would have gotten with Hillary. We know McCain would’ve voted with Bush, if he ever bothered to show up for work. He hasn’t voted since April.

And all you Michelle bashers, do you favor a vampire for first lady?

hillary voted yea for the decrease in medicare payments to drs, which will cause many drs to not treat patients, and it takes away oxygen, and advantage programs that help the poor elderly…thanks hillary! typical dem, vote for helping the poor, haha,,they vote for lining their pockets and their environmental friends pockets, but not for helping the disabled or elderly…as far as your little chart about ethanol, not only is it depleting the food supply , but the dems in congress give them trillons of our tax dollars to do it! love those wonderful caring dems! keep voting them in and it shant be long and many americans will go hungry, but then obama says we eat to much doesnt he..keep voting the dems in, someone making 30 thousand a year will pay 4500 in taxes,,thats real fair now isnt it..sugar cane ethanol promotes slavery in brazil, but why should the dems care about that, as long as they can funnel money to their cause..keep voting dems, and one day you will wake up and say,,what the hell did we do?

Actually, one poster on MyDD has already blamed Bill Clinton for Fisa and by extension for Obama’s vote since Obama was put into a very difficult position on the matter and did the best he could, as it were.

Also, other posters “understand” that “Obama has to move toward the center,” thus “understand” his vote for this bill.

Hillary and Bill never let Chelsea be interviewed when she was Obama’s kids’ age. Obama has poor judgment when it comes to his kids, so how can we expect any better when it comes to this country! (The same could be said about Michelle.)

Obama’s vote for the FISA Bill is more egregious than HRC’s vote to authorize the war because FISA shreds the constitution and thus our democracy!

It is inconceivable that a “professor” of constitutional law who claims to be a progressive would vote for this bill. But then we are talking about flip-flopping Obama, aren’t we.

Much like what she said today, this is Hillary’s statement February 12, 2008, during the debate on the FISA Amendments Act of 2007:

“As I have maintained for months, I oppose the provision contained in the bill that grants blanket retroactive immunity to telecommunications companies that allegedly cooperated in the administration’s warrantless wiretapping program. I believe granting retroactive immunity under these circumstances is wrong and undermines accountability. To that end, I have supported and cosponsored Senator Dodd’s strong efforts to strip this provision from the FISA bill, and was discouraged to see the amendment fail by such a significant margin.”

NO FLIP FLOPPER HERE!!! Just a politician with deep conviction, intelligence and the courage to speak her mind and stick to her principles.
