Barack Obama is Coyote Ugly

Groggy Democrats are waking up with a terrible hangover after a year of drinking the Obama “Magic Elixir” and are getting a good look in the morning light at the real Barack Obama. Holy hair shirt! The dude ain’t the handsome charmer that seduced us. He is looking more and more like George Bush; and boy, it don’t get much uglier than that. In the darkness of the winter and the low lights of the primaries Americans found a sexy man they could not wait to take home. Here is the Barack Americans thought they were falling in love with:

And now? He’s not standing on principle, he’s running to the center. He has reversed himself on public campaign financing, late term abortions, gun control, FISA, Iraq, MoveOn.org, NAFTA, and Iran. How bad is it?

I got a call this afternoon from the Barack Obama campaign. (Apparently, they have hired Meyer Associates, who can be reached at 301 851-4961, to help them with fund raising.) The woman on the other end of the line opened with a pitch about Barack Obama representing “hope and change,” at which point I cut her off. I recounted the litany of Barack’s flip flops. Imagine my surprise (and my delight) when the woman sighed and said, “I agree with you.”

She went on to tell me that 70% of the people she had talked to during the last two days were telling her the same thing. Most, she said, were unwilling to vote for McCain and were vowing to stay home. Needless to say the fundraising was not going well. I mentioned that I had heard that Barack’s campaign failed to reach their fundraising goals for the second quarter. She confirmed that this was true. We had a very pleasant conversation. I wished her good luck and hung up.

A few minutes later I was checking email and came across this message from a NoQuarter reader (thanks dude):

Incidentally, I just now received my first fund-raising call from the Obama campaign — not the DNC, DCCC, or DSCC, but the campaign (the D groups probably won’t be calling me again). You would have loved hearing that call from the campaign, not so much for my opening rant about how “I will not be contributing to the Obama campaign or any other national Democratic groups after their treatment of Senator Clinton, race-baiting, and race slurring”, but for the young caller’s response to my rant, which was an exasperated “what is all this I’m hearing about how we treated Hillary? We took all the flack for Wright with no help from her, and now you people are saying we called her a racist!”

That told me that their fund-raising operation is running into more Clintonistas than they imagined. Or else, that one poor guy is somehow getting ALL OF US on the phone!

The only way Barack raises new money (because most of his major existing supporters are maxed out) is to get some coinage from Hillary supporters or disenchanted Republicans. Well, that ain’t happening. And if traffic at Barack’s website is an indicator then it certainly appears that Barack is not having much success in expanding his base. In fact, the base is contracting.

Coyote Ugly used to refer only to a situation that started with too much alcohol and led to casual sex with a partner that, in the soft low lights of a bar, appeared to be cute. But when the sun rises and you open you eyes, you discover that the beauty you thought you bedded was actually a beast. Like a coyote caught in a trap, you will chew off your arm rather than risk moving it and waking the sleeping horror show at your side.

Let’s face facts–Super Delegates are slowly discovering that they climbed into bed with a Barack Obama that does not really exist. He is not a new and different kind of politician. Nope. He’s an old style Chicago politician who has feasted on graft, compromised principles, got public money for slum lords who put black folks in homes not fit for pigs, and is now pandering to an imaginary conservative center. His decision yesterday to abandon his promise to fight George Bush for shredding the fourth amendment was not an aberration, it was a window into his soul. Will Super Delegates come to their senses and put a halt to nominating the fraud that is Barack Obama? We will see.

Ugly is as ugly does. And Obama makes ‘doing ugly’ into an art form.

Comment by sic721 | 2008-07-10 22:14:16

That reminds me of a story.

Backtrack goes into a bar and orders
a double scotch. He downs it in one
gulp, then looks in his shirt pocket.
Then orders another double scotch.
Downs it and looks in his shirt pocket.
This happens 2 more times and when he
orders another shot the bartender asked him,
“Every time you down your drink, you look in
your pocket. What you got in there?”
Backtrack said, “A picture of my wife.
And I ain’t going home ’til she looks gooood.”

Heh heh.

This is what I am envisioning:

BO driving away from the stadium in Denver his Chevrolet SUV with Michelle in the front seat shooting us gang signs while the kids in the back are screaming “President Clinton will be our role model”.

No more Secret Service. Hopefully, he will stand trial for his financial dealings in Illinois with MO.

CPS will find a good home for the girls.

President Hillary Clinton will take President Elect Chelsea’s advice and not grant BO and MO pardons in 2016.

“shooting us gang signs”?

It’s fine if you want to accuse Obama and his surrogates of playing racial politics – there are a few examples where you could at least make the argument.

But what in the world would lead you to believe that Barack is in any way supportive of gangs? Because he’s… black? Please, at least try to recognize your own biases.

How about his statement “if they bring a knife, we bring a gun” or Brazile on if he loses “there will be blood”? Those work for me. They sound like street corner statements, rather than reasonable adult statements. I am getting that reasonable statements are passe, but they do have their appeal.

Oh, yeah, check all over the net for threats from his followers. If you don’t find enough there, ask any “out” Hillary supporter how often then have been threatened. I say “out” as so many are in the closet now, due to said threats.

Comment by rockrooky | 2008-07-11 16:08:55

p.s. In some areas it is now much safer to be an out queer than to be an out Hillary supporter.

Comment by Andy | 2008-07-14 12:00:44

Thank you for presenting your “reasonable statements”. I’m quite thankful I apparently don’t share any of them.

Comment by Andy | 2008-07-14 12:18:44

P.S. I think it’s pretty safe to say that Donna Brazile wasn’t literally threatening violence in the quote you’ve referenced above. TV talking heads tend to speak in hyperbole. If we interpreted their words literally, we’d probably finally realize that they don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.

By the way, the good folk(s) at http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/ recently referred to this website as part of the “loopy left”. After visiting it a couple times, I’ve got to say they’re really onto something.

Obvioiusly you haven’t read MO’s rants against what is referred to as “whites” lately. The race card is in place because BO (perfect name the the smelly tactics he uses) advocates it.

Another reason his fundraising is tanking, is that those Republicans that were donating to him, to torpedo Hillary, no longer have a need to.

The DNC has tried real hard to finish the job.

Can’t have a viable democratic candidate. Seems to me that the powers that be, are willing to go to any length to get in another Bush-like candidate, another puppet.

Of the two Bush-like candidates we currently have, Obama is by far the more Bush-like and puppet like. But just like Bush, they are finding problems with managing a puppet that cannot think on his feet. And just as with Bush, they spend most of their time explaining his most recent mispokeism.

The biggest message is, we no longer have a democracy. America has been stolen and they will soon no longer even go to the trouble of having us faux vote.

This is our third stolen election. The third election where we were cheated out of our candidate.

Dissent and democracy are inseparable. Soilent Green is just around the corner.

I’m sorry that he was absent for that vote.

That End Global Poverty Act…is simply a raise over what we already send to all the UN leaders and despots around the world.

They same kind of program that Iraqi Oil for Food program was….never intended to help those truly in need.

And of course, Auchi got rich off of that Iraqi scheme….among other schemes.

Obama just wants to funnel money to rich people…that is his only goal. There is nothing about him that geniunely cares about poor folks.

What happened, didn’t Not Too Sparky Barky pay attention to the funds situation before BACKING OUT OF PUBLIC FINANCING? They arleady declared not much use for the “internet fundraising”…As we all know, was just a way to change the average donation amounts from the Big Dollars that were keeping the campaign going. Collecting $5.00 at the entrance for Rallies…..

Even seizing control of the DNC to collect the maximum $28,500.00 per person to subvert Campaign limits- it seems aint going to help him. Especially the way Not Too Sparky Barky spends money.

Comment by Jack | 2008-07-10 18:13:07

Starting in late September Howard Dean will be getting calls from around the country from down ticket candidates asking for money-help in tough races and Dean will say he’ll get them the money–and never come through with the promise. Because he can’t. Obama’s people will control it, Dean is the puppet. Maybe they’ll give him some allowance money to spread around.

Comment by Linda | 2008-07-10 18:20:57

Yep. Isn’t this all so sad. AND, while they keep talking about the “50 State Strategy”…at least Barky has the excuse he can’t count and must have lost the piece of paper an aid handed him (57 states), and we see there is no longer a 50 state strategy, because there is no money to support it, but ALSO, Barky hired all the State Employees, like the Exec Directors on to his Campaign Staff, instead of being employed by the DNC, how the heck could Howie allow THAT…or sit back and WATCH it, so now the DNC HAS NO STAFF for their 50 State Strategy and then Barky will dismiss them – or at least the ones who didn’t support him early on (like Florida) and we know he likes holds grudges and will make them pay. will have NO STA

What a bunch of rookie kool aid drinkers! Scare the freak by saying he lost your vote, you fools. All it has to be is a threat. They could flip flop. Oh, well. Why am I helping them???
Backtrack, Obother! I hope he loses in a landslide. Embarrassing like the 9% congress approval rating! That would be awesome! I hope we never see his unsexy, ugly lying face again! And as far as I’m concerned that could start tonight!

Don’t those Chicago thugs like to give a fella like that some cement shoes and a nice swim? That is so funny. When Ofraudma loses big and the thugs take him to the land of the missing, probably no one will look for him or notice he’s gone! Not even Mechelle.

I never did understand how people could say BO was sexy either. His eyes lack energy, they are vacant. He doesn’t have a nice face. His voice and way of speaking isn’t at all melodic to listen to. All he has going for him is a thin build with a nice shade of skin color.

Comment by mahaska | 2008-07-10 18:12:25

I think he was being sarcastic. Having said that, I have never considered bo sexy or handsome. He is too listless. His has no passion, no curiosity, no spirit. A man can’t be attractive without these things.

Larry, you are such a breath of fresh air. Once a day , I make it a point to read your blog. There is no comfort in the contemplation of such a Messiah making mistakes, and their hearts are saddened now by the tearing down of scaffolding which they had mistaken for a leader. Didn’t we all tell these people that the man who they fainted and screamed for at stumps, was not who he appeared to be? As I would remind the Koolaid kids, “If it grows wings in the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the country, it is not an eagle but a carrion eating bird. Circling around waiting to prey on the dead. Yes, the spell dead that were in masses for him. I hope the liberals come into this blog and read, and put some of those childish preconceptions of some kind of wonderful “hopeful” leader they thought they were getting. He is a politician- that is all, and now you can see for yourself, he sways to where the wind blows- and his roots are sunk deep into the dirty puddles of his thugs associations. Wake up, astrayed children, for our country is at risk and we can’t be asleep in it!

I was just polled by Quinnipac U. This may be the first time for me from a major polling place. Said I am voting for McCain, never Obama and will only change my mind if Hillary should be the nominee. Said I would think about voting for Obama if Hillary was on the ticket but doubted it. Lots of questions on gay marriage…maybe 6 or so. Said I was for legalized marriage between gays, opposed a ban on gay marriage etc. Also several questions on faith based bull shit. Said I was a big time liberal, always voted Democrat, opposed gun control, didn’t give a damn about a black being elected, just not Obama. Only cared a little about McCain’s age. The poll seemed to have an Obama bias in his favor. Went on about a black candidate and a really old one. I expect the Democrat natives are getting very restless since Obama can’t seem to close the deal or raise the bucks. I wonder how much Hillary raised in comparison to Obama in June. Wouldn’t it kill ya if she took in nearly as much as he.

Comment by susan | 2008-07-10 18:20:22

I live not too far from Quinnipiac U., and my sister was called for the same poll not long ago. The results appeared two days later in our local paper, and you’ll be happy to know that the majority of those polled said basically the same things you did. Things aren’t looking too good for Obama, but I would like to see more of McCain out in the public eye. Maybe that will happen once his new manager gets under way. I still believe the only way to defeat Obama, if Hillary is not the nominee after the convention, is to vote for McCain. Abstaining from voting or a write-in vote could still give Obama the presidency. I also think that the closer we get to the convention, and if Obama is still not doing well in the polls or with fundraising, he will have to choose Hillary as his VP running mate if he wants to win. I believe we can expect that to happen. If it does, then we have another decision to make!

…..and hope Obama’s not elected so we don’t have to eat his waffles for the next 4 yrs.

I agree…one major scandal, and it must involve an indictment or a looming indictment, but not necessarily an arrest (’cause I think the one who’d get arrested would not be a politician, which is too rare, but someone already awaiting sentencing in Chicago). Another option is the “Whitey” tape, which I believe to exist based on LJ’s knowledge of it. I think that would cause some SDs to move, or at least faint, which would cause others to move.

Terrific post, Larry. Everybody I talk to says they will never vote for BO, and they despise him even more now than a month ago.

The more they see, the less they like. This is the problem with selecting a nominee, rather than going with the people’s choice.

The trolls don’t get it. It’s over. We’re not going to vote for him ever.

I got a call from the Colorado Dem. Committee asking for a donation (even though I told them to take me off the list 3 calls ago). He didn’t seem surprised, and then said “I suppose you’re voting Republican then? I can understand that.” LOL! WHAT?? He probably was like ’shit, I got another one’.

I noticed about a half a dozen lawn signs for Obama in my Colorado neighborhood just after Hillary suspended her campaign. I think everyone of them has come down.

I really wonder what he thinks he will gain by his campaign financing and FISA flipflops. I think he is playing a really cynical, soulless, evil con on both his supporters and the evangelicals.

He better tell the people he plans to import to Invesco Field in Denver to behave themselves or he will see the bottom fall out of his disgusting campaign without any whitey tapes or Rezko revelations.

For me, Obama has always been easy to figure out and I never understood why people have been so easily suckered by this clown.

Obama is a megalomaniac without integrity. Obama is a hard left liberal and if elected that is where he will reside, his history indicates that. In the meantime, Obama’s campaign has him saying and doing what they feel is necessary for him to win which means he has to continue to alter positions. Obama feels he can talk his way out of any situation or lie and with the help of an inept and bias media it makes it easy for him to do.

Anyone who actually thinks Obama has integrity at this point ought to disqualify themselves from voting due to shear stupidity. Obama’s interest is in himself not in the US.

Comment by agent77 | 2008-07-10 18:35:14

We all think that Obama is a liberal, but there is no way for us to know what he is.

Obama has been ‘playing’ to a liberal crowd in Chicago for his whole career. The liberals and championing liberal causes was a way for him to gain and hold power.

His liberal record could have been all for politics and ambition just like all the dribble he said during the primaries that people wanted to hear was and all the dribble he is saying now is as well.

This is the song for him….

Will the real Barrack Obama Please stand up

Don’t misunderestimate Obama

And guess what?

Tired out, fat, slow Pat Buchanan is correct on every point. The ‘Democrat’ Party has ’selected’, as Stalin used to do, a no-talent, tin-eared, gutless punk who has never won a really contested battle, except by cheating, in his short unimpressive life.

Sad Sack McSame is going to mop the floor with Barkey. When America gets a load of ‘Boma’s African-rooted, Liberation Theologist, machine politics, sexist, flip-floppinest approach to campaigning, hoppin’ down dat road with one foot continually in his big fat mouth, they are gonna run screaming for McSame.

With him at least you know what you are getting.

Barkey?

There is no way this guy would have the stamina needed to be POTUS. He’s all weak, brittle, and tired.

He can’t take criticism, either. Hillary didn’t let insults get to her, they rolled off like water on a duck’s back. But BO freaks out every time!

Please. Obama is no “hard left liberal”. He’s mushy Republican Lite. The worst kind.

I’M a hard left liberal. Obama is a pandering clown with no identity.

Comment by Obama is a bum | 2008-07-10 19:52:03

You are delusional if you think Obama is a Republican. The Republicans would never vote for anyone who is a close friend of Ayers and Wright and has been sitting in an anti-American racist church for 20 years.

You are exactly the type of person who has trouble figuring Obama out and that type is what will get him elected.

Comment by Sapphocrat | 2008-07-11 00:03:55

Obama is a bum: You are the delusional one if you think pro-NAFTA, pro-FISA, pro-death penalty, anti-gun control, anti-marriage equality, pro-faith-based funding, anti-marijuana decriminalization, pro-Patriot Act, and beating the war drums against both Iran and Pakistan are “hard left liberal” positions — or progressive positions, or even moderate positions.

Associations with people like Ayers do not represent liberal democratic values at all — that’s Marxist, perhaps, or anarchist. And although conservatives do tend to lump everyone to the left of Genghis Khan together, that doesn’t make you correct.

As for Wright (and Meeks), true liberals do not attempt to insert their religious beliefs into the public arena. Nor do we damn America — we love it. That’s what makes us liberals.

Obama, on the other hand, is finally exposing himself as Bush Lite — and some of us (like me, a genuine “hard-left” liberal) saw this from the very beginning.

You’re the one he has fooled.

Comment by Obama is a bum | 2008-07-11 00:22:23

You are a moron. You cannot figure out the con that Obama has put on to pander for votes. Like I said before, look at the clown’s life not the con he has been putting on. Obama is on the fringe left. You are a good example of a fool that falls for Obama’s con.

Comment by Sapphocrat | 2008-07-11 01:01:17

Anyone compelled to sink to the level of name-calling (”moron,” “fool”) in an attempt to deflect attention away the subject at hand automatically loses the argument.

But I’ll give you another chance, and invite you to address the issues: Explain to all of us how being pro-NAFTA, pro-FISA, pro-death penalty, anti-gun control, anti-marriage equality, pro-faith-based funding, anti-marijuana decriminalization, and pro-Patriot Act, and beating the war drums against both Iran and Pakistan are “hard left liberal” positions.

For bonus points (and sheer entertainment value), explain just how, if Obama is “on the fringe left,” he plans to swing back to the left once he is POTUS. Do you foresee him taking the oath of office, then telling the country: “Ha ha! I was just kidding about all of that stuff! I wanna do takebacks on my Senate votes now! I call do-overs!” – ?

If you can even attempt to discuss issues without resorting to ad hominem attacks just because you don’t have any answers, I will be very, very surprised.

By the way, genius, I’ve been anti-Obama from day one, so your idiotic suggestion that I’m the sort of “fool that falls for Obama’s con” falls flat.

Comment by Obama is a bum | 2008-07-11 05:07:50

Since when do you determine who wins an argument? You act like the messiah. The fact that you believe Obama means you have been hoodwinked by the con man.

Obama’s attitude has been pretty consistent until he has run for president and everything he is doing is crafted by his campaign which is instructing Obama what to do and say at this point. The only thing Obama is worried about is winning, the flops and lies in the con’s game is just part of the process. Until you understand Obama is a con you will never be wise to him.

It does not take a genius to deduce that if Obama gets elected he takes a hard turn as far left as he can get away with. He will have a Democratic congress and a media that has supported him and wants to protect him.

If you have not examined Obama’s life, read his book, his wife’s thesis, his long term radical relationships and understand what this guy is about then you will continue to be hoodwinked.

Some Republicans I have talked to plan on voting for Obama, not because they like him, but because they think McCain is not conservative and Obama will screw this country up so bad that the Republicans will be able to rebound. I understand the stategy since I believe Obama will be worse than Carter. By thumbing their nose at Hillary Clinton, the Democrats have made a huge political mistake.

Comment by Sapphocrat | 2008-07-11 14:38:12

Well, at least I’ve gone from “moron” to “Messiah.” That’s an improvement.

Try to understand this: I don’t believe a thing Obama says. I never have. But I watch what he DOES, not what he SAYS. He is indeed a finger-in-the-wind panderer who will do or say anything to further his ambitions (that’s what the “blank screen” rhetoric is all about) — and what he is DOING is setting himself up as the Bush of the Democratic Party. He CANNOT turn into Dennis Kucinich, or even Paul Wellstone, once he becomes POTUS, for the sole reason that he would completely destroy his own ambitions (think: reelection).

If, by some miracle, you are right, and Obama swings “hard left” as POTUS and reverses himself on all his most hard-right positions, I will be thrilled — but I will trust him even less than I do now (i.e., less than zero).

But it’s not going to happen. He’s distancing himself as far as he can from a do-nothing Democratic Congress (with a 9% approval rating), and pissed bucketloads all over the left wing you disaparage so much.

He can’t just “take it all back.”

What I don’t understand is how you can say Obama is a lefty, yet admit that he has been consistent throughout his campaign (and in fact since his days in the Illinois state legislature). He has indeed been consistent — consistently conservative. He just sold himself as a progressive. But he has always been a conservative.

I understand why some (many?) right-wingers will vote for Obama. And, the way I figure it, whether it’s Obama or McCain in the White House in 2008, it’s going to be someone else entirely in 2012. Either is destined to be a one-term POTUS. Which is the only bright prospect I see coming out of this farce of an election.

Comment by Karma | 2008-07-11 01:52:43

That is the thing about Ayers and Dohrn that has always bugged me.

Their actions contradicted the anti-war, non-violence, peace and love, of the hippies, college kids, and civil rights movement, and their stated goals.

They did more to upset people coming together against the war/govt than they ever succeeded at hurting the govt. How can you ever out-bomb the US? It is impossible. Which is why the non-violence movements of MLK and Ghandi were successful.

The Weathermen threw those examples aside for a delusional Don Quixote fight of utilizing violence to protest violence.

They went to Chicago with the intent of causing chaos and helped to bring Nixon into the White House. Which brought us Cheney and Rummy also, as the country didn’t want to be associated with those Weathermen fools.

Looking at it, they achieved more for the Republicans than the Dems. So, why should I believe that they, Obama included, are geniunely working for Democratic interests right now? Nothing in their track record proves it…any of them.

Even their govt bombing spree was a bonus to the places that were hit.

Government buildings were usually old and in need of repair, but now their budgets would be increased during a time of war to remodel, investigate, and security. Triple score.

I would never elect someone with ties to those duplicitious clowns.

Comment by Obama is a bum | 2008-07-11 05:18:09

The Weathermen actually thought they could start a revolution in concert with the Black Panthers and change the world. Into what I don’t know, maybe a Jonestown. The Weathermen remind me somewhat of the young people following Obama, they think they are starting a movement that will change the world and again into what nobody knows.

Comment by Karma | 2008-07-11 20:58:04

The Black Panthers wanted nothing to do with them on the public stage.

Everytime the Weathermen callled out to the Panthers in the media…they would disavow them in a reply via the media also.

Like I said their stated goals contradicted their actions and the obvious results. Their actions unified people against the anti-war movement and especially people like them. When average people had started to agreeing with anti-war movement, until The Weathermen blew that support away.

However, stating things like ‘kill your parents’, ‘kill rich people’, and a three finger salute about a murder victim, will do that even before they started bombing buildings.

Once again, their stated goals contradicted the obvious results…something is off with them.

Basically you two are making the argument that Obama has no core values.

This is his major problem — he has no core values — except to make a whole lot of money and he also craves power. He doesn’t care what he has to do to become very wealthy — nor how he gets the power.

He has no empathy — look at all the Rezko buildings not from from where Obama lived — and he was unaware that the buildings were not being maintained?????

He cares about his “friends” as long as they get him what he wants. He has no loyalty — look under the bus.

Neither real liberals or conservatives want to claim Obama — because Obama has no core values — he is a shifty SOB.

Comment by Sapphocrat | 2008-07-11 01:11:10

I’ll agree with that — although he’s branding himself as an uber-conservative in ways he cannot possibly flip-flop on again in the future (at least not without alienating every “useful idiot” in his Rolodex). If he backtracks on even one of the major issues he’s gone hard-right on (FISA, faith-based funding, etc.), he can kiss reelection goodbye. He’s indebted to too many special interest groups now, and he’s “gotta go home with what brung him.”

Oh, and I can’t really see who else is under the bus — it’s awfully crowded under here! ;)

This is a poem that I wrote in the middle of the night a few days ago:

The Bigger Brown

You thought I was a deity,
But that was just a ploy you see
To get you guys to vote for me.
But don’t you think it rather odd
That I’m still the “chosen one” of Dodd
Pelosi, Kennedy and Dean
They hatched a most ingenious scheme
To put me in so Hill could go
Then offer me the total show.
And now they hang on every word
And watch me deftly flip the bird.
But please don’t think I think you’re dumb
You ladies, lefties, clinging scum.
And please stay on — just please don’t go
Because I want you all to know
That though my feet may stink of clay,
I know that I will find a way
To chart a new unfettered course
Just like that “Big Brown” racing horse.
I know he lost the last of three
But I’ll beat those odds — just wait and see!

Comment by Gray Cracka | 2008-07-11 00:47:41

Comment by DAB | 2008-07-12 05:12:29

My intent was to expose O’s explicit egotism.

I guess it was the “Big Brown” reference that offended your sensibilities — the meaning here is that BO will peter out in the end just like the much touted stallion. After all a lot of analogies have been made to this race via Hillary dropping dead on the course at the Kentucky Derby and Big Brown running away with the Crown. So why not continue the narrative to its ultimate conclusion?

I don’t find Obama attractive or sexy. I want to puke when I see his face or hear his voice (coyote ugly). I turn the channel as quickly as possible. The only channel I watch is Fox and I have to flip the channel often when they say something I don’t like or show ignorant O. I like Lou Dobbs on CNN but I don’t want to give CNN any ratings so I don’t watch him on TV. I listen to his radio show instead. I always have hope that the supers will get their heads out of their asses and nominate Hillary. Who knows, stranger things have happened, aka, supporting Obama. I could never vote for Obama on any ticket, even with Hillary as his VP. I don’t want Hillary to get smeared with any of his dirt. Thanks for such a great site. Please don’t ever stop writing. I told one to drop dead and as I walked by he bent over and screamed in a high pitched almost hysterical voice “That was rude!” . It was curious-the way he did it made me feel like he expect people to rally around him and attack me. I just laughed and said I’d hoped it was.

I sense a slight air of desperation rising from his rotting campaign though.

After Obama loses there has to be some effort to depose the gang of 4. They all need to lose their jobs and be sent packing. The stupidity of these people is what let Bush rule for the past 7 years-they need to go, go, go.

RE :Nowhere Man-censored

Here’s an idea if your good with the internet thingy. Anyone can use it.

I’d like to see a blog that monitors censorship on other blogs. I have been banned from a number of blogs for talking about subjects-not being offensive-but for subject matter content.

What would fascinate me-and I believe the media-is a blog that people could go to to report where they were banned and for what reason and which kept a daily summary of blogs that censor and for what reasons, and the rate of censorship.

Become famous, attack the Obama folk, kick weasel Kos in the teeth, free speech from the tyranny of the lessor democrats, have fun-just do it.

I saved some of my posts that were deleted from HuffPo and AmericaBlog, as well as some of the vicious ones by BO fans that were NOT deleted. Eventually, I called Huffy “malakas” which is + – “jerk off” in Greek. I was banned for that one. The 1st time I was banned was for politely asking ?s about BO.

Anyway, I wanted to start a blog called “The Huffocrite Post” with a similar idea as yours. Plus people could nominate hypocrites. There are so many! Like Ted Nugent and Mel Gibson who successfully avoided Viet Nam, but support war now; Michael Moore, for crying that his MI vote was worth half, when it was his man BO who blocked a revote: Keith Obamaman, etc. (Just for starters).

I don’t have the time to start a blog (don’t even know how), but if someone would like to use the posts I’ve saved, they are welcome to them.

WTF,” We took all the flack for Wright with no help from her, and now you people are saying we called her a racist!””
You people?
Flack for Wright?
Why the h*ll should HRC take flack for Wright?
Obama went to that church without her, he should take his own flack!
His campaign took every opportunity they had or could manufacture to paint her, her husband and all her supporters as racist.
Was this the kind of lame response this guy was officially given?
Or is he just clueless on his own?

Along with “Nowhere Man” you could also sing “cellophane man” from the show Chicago.
Both songs discribe him. He has no real plans to help the country and most people with common sense see thru him.

With his so called sex appeal he could not make out in a prison men’s or women’s with a fist full of pardons.

Or these excerpts from “Plastic Man” by the Kinks:

Plastic man got no brain,
Plastic man don’t feel no pain,
Plastic people look the same,
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

He’s got a plastic wife who wears a plastic mac,
(Yeah, he’s plastic man)
And his children wanna be plastic like their dad,
(Yeah, he’s plastic man)
He’s got a phony smile that makes you think he understands,
But no one ever gets the truth from plastic man (plastic man)
Plastic man (plastic man).

Larry: This is your best one yet, and you’ve had many that I thought were great.

Please, let’s get this out to other blogs and
to the MSM.

It’s not too late for the Super D’s to come to their senses. Ob is losing his base, the Big MO is shifting away from his podium. His statements make me sick, most of them are 180 degrees from his post-coronation (by himself and the DNC). Take his crown away and let’s get Hillary to stand up for us, like she did on the FISA vote yesterday.

Like Rush Limbaugh (of all people) said last month, “What’s the point in being a superdelegate if you’re not going to be super?”

I was surprised to get a Democrat at my door last night. After some questioning I discovered they really wanted a $100 for the 50 state plan (also called The Obama plan in my estimation). I told them I give all my donations to Wes Clark. He said who? I said the guy Obama and Dean screwed over. Exit stage left. :-)

Seeing Obama anywhere, magazine covers, television, newspapers makes me physically ill but not so much because of his soulless arrogance anymore but because so much is at stake. We need Clinton to be the nominee and seeing him makes me wonder how the Democratic Party became so delusional and blinded. Country before party should have prevailed for the DNC. What happened, it’s like we’re in a nightmare and we just can’t wake up. We were so close to starting on a better path than Bush has led us down the past 8 years and then from nowhere real hope for the immediate future is gone. Yes, I’ll vote for McCain if something doesn’t happen soon to wake up the super delegates but this is truly an ugly tragedy for the entire country.

2. Got a great script concept for a movie. Working title: “Coyote Ugly in Denver.” One-armed Super Dels at the convention using their one good arm to vote to Hillary. We’ll need a lot of cameos as Super Dels to make this work: Who can we get?

Do you want in on this thing?

BO is a classic maladjusted Freudian Oral type. Sarcastic and mean spirited, incredibly passive-aggressive. Listless, lacks energy. Hollow exhausted eyes. Takes every criticism personal.

That little snipey move he pulled, flipping Hillary off and brushing her off his shoulders: Classic passive-aggressive Oral type.

You’re totally right, he’s got too many mental health issues to be POTUS. If he has issues with Caucasian people because of slavery, fine. But NOT fine for someone who wants to be president. And he admits that he turns to drugs when he just can’t deal with the world anymore.

DAB … love the poem! Do you mind if I share it? And VMP’s arugula man … very funny stuff!

Obviously nobody here can definitively answer this … but any ideas on why McCain is being so passive … he should be attacking by now … or is the October Surprise really THAT significant? We know the possibilities of the “Whitey Tape” and Sinclair’s testimony of a crack/sex limo encounter, but has anyone read of any other scandal that the Republicans may have in store? Comrade O has weathered a lot of rotten revelations about himself. Can the MSM sugar-coat everything about this scam artist?

Comment by Mr. X | 2008-07-10 23:09:32

The Republicans need to be sure who the nominee is before they do anything. They don’t want Hillary. Obama is kinda self destructing anyhow. Wait until after the convention and you’ll see how this plays out.

Also, the Republicans know that things shift in politics. If you move ahead too soon, you’ve got nowhere to go but down… just in time to lose the election. This is what Kerry, and Gore didn’t understand. It also hurt Hillary during the primaries. She did bounce back, but the fix was already in. And look at McCain, he raised his game at just the right time. He was being counted out at one point.

Good article. The Black Agenda Report has an excellent article, too, about the stupidity of the phony dance the progressives have been having with Obama. The essence is the same. They fooled themselves into thinking his vague words meant what they wanted them to mean. They lacked their own vision and spouted off nonsense such as how Obama is a “movement.” Tom Hayden and his ilk have miscontrued an embarrasing American Idol campaign approach as having content.

The author takes it one step further than your article does, and I think I agree with him: Obama deliberately baited and switched. He’s gloating now. He made sure he told the progressive fools that he never lied to them. He’s right. He never promised them a damn thing, and they won’t get it either.

I also agreed that Iraq is next on the list. The progressives will be surprised to learn that Pelosi and Obama will continue the war. He’s already signalling strongly that he won’t even ask for timetables from Iraq. I agreed with the author that Samantha Powers really was fired for outting him on his true Iraq policy, not because she called Hillary a monster.

The progressives screamed and kicked every single time Hillary tried to bring the truth to the forefront. They made sure that Obama was allowed to bait them, so I have no sympathy now that they are about to usher in a disaster, especially if they actually should win.

I’m convinced McCain has more sense. I’m very convinced that Cynthia McKinney is the true progressive. She has no shot, of ccurse, but she’s absolutely worth supporting and has a true 3rd party platform that maybe many of us should consider more.

I noted that McCain had his best fundraising month yet. Obama isn’t releasing his figures. I don’t doubt that his numbers are down.

I also laughed at McCain’s handling of his advisor’s gaffe today. Obama got NO traction. McCain’s wit met the incident head-on and with refreshing honesty. I prefer his style absolutely over Obama’s chaos and confusion. Obama deliberately fogs. I’m sick of it.

He is a funny guy. He has a dry, sarcastic humor. Also, it’s ironic that all of the news outlets were reporting last night that McCain had his best fund raising month, so far—for the first time outdoing Obama. Guess all of the former Hillary supporters aren’t so insignificant, after all. Of course, we knew that already.

So is buyer’s remorse finally setting in? I’ve flip-flopped damned near hourly on this subject and I still can’t shake the dark mood.

Goody goody, the hills are ringing with all that liberal bleating about Obama’s backtracking. Yet, when I viewed the comments to his post in the orange batcave last week, they were all in the vein of, “Wow you rally made me think Sparky, way to go!”. You cannot make a dent in partitioned minds like that, it’s the phenomenon that elected Bush twice.

Worse yet, Charlie Rose flabbergasted me with a question to Ted Koppel on Obama’s move to the McCain view on Iraq: The question he posed to Koppel definitely conveyed that Charlie no longer wants the sex change so he can have Barry’s baby. The “worst yet” part comes in with Koppel’s answer that Obama is utterly correct to change his position.

Koppel explained that primary candidate Obama was justified in promising to bring the troops home a heartbeat after he put his hand on the bible. However, presumptive nominee and possible President Obama had to adopt a more realistic position (i.e., drop the flim-flam) to be taken at face value by the world leadership cadre. This was presented as a natural thing, similar in tone to the Washington Post’s recent editorial covering the subject.

So is Obama magic something like energy, which can be neither created nor destroyed, merely transformed? If Charlie Rose becomes disenchanted, does Ted Koppel become an acolyte?

The abiding question, though, lies with the titanic mass of ego that makes up the Democrat Party hierarchy and the superdelegates. They all marched along like Good Germans, bemoaning the criminal scandal of Florida in 2000 and justifying the scandal of Florida in 2008, thus engineering a primary which finished 50-50 and thereby split the party. Just much crow can those gasbags eat?

Do you think we will watch Donna Brazile chew her arm off on CNN?

Obama’s Glow is Fading?
The latest NEWSWEEK Poll shows Barack Obama leading John McCain by only 3 points. What a difference a few weeks can make.
A month after emerging victorious from the bruising Democratic nominating contest, some of Barack Obama’s glow may be fading. In the latest NEWSWEEK Poll, the Illinois senator leads Republican nominee John McCain by just 3 percentage points, 44 percent to 41 percent. The statistical dead heat is a marked change from last month’s NEWSWEEK Poll, where Obama led McCain by 15 points, 51 percent to 36 percent.

The writer of this article and these respondents are all kids who need a good smack.

I suppose that will come in the form of John McCain getting elected and the Republicans going exactly the same course with no change as for the last seven years.

If you stop this backbiting and understand the reality of electable candidates you will stop smearing your and mine only chance of survival in the years ahead.

If that’s your idea of survival, with obambi, you are completely blind, too young to understand this, or willfully ignorant.

Coyote ugly defined: Whenever any man says that he is for peace and that he is against the war, and that statement proves to be a lie. Whenever a man says that he is anti-war but he refuses to consult with the foremost Iraq War expert in the nation, that tells you something about this man!

When a person is Bush’s enemy and seeking Obama’s help and Obama and his people tells this man to F*** Off!, that tells you something about Obama and his team.

When people reveal truths about Obama and Obama refuses to address these issues responsibly when John Edwards does, that tells you something about this man!

Would you want to risk your nation and the lives of your children to a sheer novice with no experience, a man willing to lie to cover up his many faults, flaws, and shortcomings in an effort to prevail without having any consideration for the life of our nation and the lives of our people?

We live in a nuclear age, where major nations can destroy the world. Good judgment is needed and a President with integrity!

Barack Obama is a god, a demigod. No man, no human being could have done what he has done or brought about the success that he has had, especially with his flawed background from his mother to his birth, to his adulthood, to the Presidential nomination … unless he made an agreement with his father, who is in the lower heavens, to rule this nation in the ways of his father.
