Look at Ledeen. Libya ships most of Niger’s materials. Mike Ledeen lost IC clearance over items dealing with Libya. GHWB made statements on his opinion of how low people who out operatives are, on the cusp of Ledeen’s demotion and other outing items that occurred. Yet, people with histories connected to many of the stations involved in those outings had names, methods, or contacts reappear for this.

Clearly both instances were examples of systemic largesse on the part of the White House and its operatives, the first with two cases that went on in the Mediterranean, the second in halls of the White House and Senate, Mediterranean and Iraq/Iran.
