Just to say, I just picked you out of one of the many haters of Obama. I understand if you were a Hillary supporter, I would have been just as hurt if Obama had lost. However if you are just a racist bigot repug, then it will never matter what Obama does you simply will not vote for a black man. Who by the way is white also. If this is the case nothing anyone does will change your mind, God will have to touch your heart to erase the hate in your heart, about something you dislike because it may be different. I have never thought about race as I grew up in the country a true southern girl. We all lived in the same area we rode the same bus we all went to school together. So, I was lucky enough not to have been subjected to racism. I am a nurse and I do home visits, and I met a lady Her name was Mary, a true red blooded white woman, one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I used to sit and talk to her way past her visit, and would go by even when she wasn't on my schedule. I am glad I was raised this way because I do not have to get rid of such a vile act. I love all people, because we are all human first. Just think about this. And do not let them make this a race issue, that is just a divise to hood wink the american people. This is not about race, not black not white, this is about the haves and the have nots, The have nots are the most of us, the majority. The rest is them. They are BIG OIL. And we are paying. And now they want to turn us against each other. This is our time to stand above this and not let tactics stop us from coming togehter, even if you vote for John McCain. That is each persons own personal right to vote how you choose. Forever whatever reason. I would just ask that you let it not be about race. Even if it is because he is ugly or you do not like the way he walks, is acceptable. But please not because he is black. Have a happy day. I hope this does not offend you, That was not my intentions.

My comment re "others not at issue" pertained to Hillary and McCain. Not supporters.

Axelrod and Obama were the ones "at issue" in the thread. Sorry, must have thought you might understand the terminology, and the very direct inference. My mistake.

You and others, in trying to defend Obama or Axelrod, constantly resort to the "well..Hillary or well..McCain did so and so" style of arguing.

Such allusions do not address the question of "what did Obama, or Axelrod, do or say". They merely serve as obfuscation.

"My side" remains constant. I would never try to defend or excuse Hillary Clinton, or John McCain for that matter, by using a "well..Obama did so and so" diatribe.

One is either right or wrong based on his or her personal actions. The correctness, or lack thereof, regarding the actions of another do not mitigate such.

Just a Thought, Yours is a rather bizarre comment. You take me to task for making third party references, and then go on and on about what I and/or other supporters say. Pick a side and stick with it. It's more convincing.

Did I claim to know Hillary's mind on her FISA vote? I don't recall that comment.

Larry --- I'd like to see you keep your post about Obamas Iraq Flip Flops Front and Center.

It's real critical especially now that Obama is trying to claim that the current situation in Iraq confirms the stance and policy he always had.

I'd like to see more about the very unpopular stand McCain took in pushing for the troop surge, which placed his campaign in jeopardy.

I was also against the surge. I could not trust Bush, nor his Defense Dept and Joint Chiefs. But GOD BLESS McCain for his insight and sticking with the advice of the Generals on the ground.

If not for McCain and the surge, we would not be talking about reducing troop levels due to success. Without the surge, the Obama's troop withdrawal would be a FAILURE and SURRENDER.

I found his response to 9/11...it wasn't what I would call very empathetic towards the victims and family of 9/11. He talks about when we go to war we need to be careful about the civilian population. You nned to wonder whether Obama was ever really against the war!

Chancellor Merkel did not need anyone from the Bush administration to tell her that a speech by a presumptive nominee from a foreign country would not be appropriate. She did not fall off the turnip truck just yesterday...

elize.....it was on Huffington Post. They took it down fast, actually, which surprised me. It's now in the list of past articles there. Should be close to the top.

It was truly funny. He is accusing the Iraqui government of conspiring with Bush.

That's OK by me. I'm in a Blue State that is not likely to tighten up enough to put me on the spot.

Heck, I could write in Hillary if I want.

But I haven't decided who gets my vote yet.

I agree with McCain, too, on Iraq and don't overreact to his flip comment about 100 years. I thought that was a cheap shot for liberals to continue to use that as a fear tool.

I'm always embarassed when Democrats sound worse than Republicans about fear stuff. *blech*

The fact is that Obama scares the willies of military people, with good reason. He is far, far too inexperienced to be commander in chief.

His remarks about Iran ring in our ears today. Small country?

His remarks about Pakistan made the world blink.

His plan to electioneer in Germany have earned him a smackdown by the chancellor.

He's ruffled Europe's feathers with his mid-east non-informed-policy to where they are speaking out.

Biden had to correct his stance publicly about Iraq.

That should be plenty to convince you that there is a problem here, Houston. Obama is not qualified.

I'll take McCain any day over this guy. I'd like to see a stronger plan to withdraw. I want McCain to assure the country that we'll not make this mistake again with Iran. But I'll still take his military background over Obama's any day of the week.

We had a candidate who was better than McCain, but she lost.

So Dems are stuck now with a neophyte who will scare us all constantly with his missteps.

So I say: Just SAY NO DEAL!

There is infinitely more oil in the OCS than in ANWR. Alaska's North Slope is dry, and that's why Governor Palin wants to open up the federal wildlife preserve. Of course, it would destroy a land set aside by Eisenhower and possibly drive a couple species to extinction, and it may not yield much of anything. Then we still have that problem of our excessive consumption.

I wasn't aware of McCain's "endless lies." Dissembling seems like a big word for you, too. I wouldn't think the man who admitted he knows little about economics would be guilty of that. Then what are flip flops in comparison to Obama's numerous lies about policy throughout this campaign which also encompasses the entirety of his national career? OK, get back to me on that, sweetie.
