Barack Obama is a Joke–Times Article Proves It

The closer we get to November, the more light will be shed on this joke of a "nominee", Barack Hussein Obama. My head is spinning at the reality that Obama is the one the DNC party bosses are pushing forward as the nominee of the party, despite all of the evidence that he is not built for the job of leader of the free world and that he doesn’t have the experience to boot. He will never beat John McCain. This is McCain’s to lose and with the recent news that the RNC is oiling up their big guns, it is all but a "foregone conclusion" that either Hillary Clinton or John McCain will be the next president of this nation.
A New York Times article by Serge Kovaleski, Obama’s Organizing Years, Guiding Others and Finding Himself, attempts to speak well of Obama but it appears that Mr. Kovaleski is willing to do what a journalist is supposed to do–tell the truth. In the article, Kovaleski writes of Obama’s "organizing years" (all three of them…) in Chicago [Kovaleski interviewed Gerald Kellman, the man who hired Obama for the job]:
It is clear that the benefit of those years to Mr. Obama dwarfs what he accomplished. Mr. Kellman said that Mr. Obama had built the organization’s following among needy residents and black ministers, but “on issues, we made very little progress, nothing that would change poverty on the South Side of Chicago.”
When he ran for the Senate in 2004, Mr. Obama told members of the community organization that had employed him that “when I left to go to law school, I couldn’t tell exactly whether I had gotten more out of this than the people I was working with.”
Very little progress on issues. Those are Mr. Kellman’s words, then notice that Obama has admitted himself that he got more out of his time "organizing" than the people he was supposed to be organizing. Just a greedy, opportunist.
Then, these few lines add further proof to my belief that Obama joined Trinity United Church of Christ for nothing more than to benefit himself and his career endeavors:
Mr. Obama faced skepticism from Baptist and Pentecostal pastors unwilling to use their influence to help him organize their members. His group had consisted almost entirely of Catholic churches, and its top officials were white and Jewish.
“Barack had to get beyond the accusation that he was working for Catholics and Jews who were trying to make money off the community,” Mr. Kellman said.
Mr. Obama wrote that a minister suggested it would be helpful if he belonged to a church, and he joined the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr.’s congregation after hearing a sermon about faith’s power to inspire underdogs.
Then, Obama is proven a liar, yet again, in this part of the article.:
In a stirring scene from his memoir, Mr. Obama describes an organizing success at Altgeld Gardens, a badly neglected housing project.
Mr. Obama wrote that one day an Altgeld parent handed him a newspaper advertisement soliciting bids to remove asbestos from Altgeld’s management office.
Mr. Obama recounted that he helped arrange a bus trip to the housing authority headquarters where residents had demanded a meeting with the executive director and a pledge that residential units would be tested for asbestos. As television cameras rolled, the residents were promised testing and a meeting.
“I changed as a result of that bus trip, in a fundamental way,” Mr. Obama wrote. It was the kind of action that “hints at what might be possible and therefore spurs you on.”
What Mr. Obama does not mention in his book is that residents of the nearby Ida B. Wells housing project, and some at Altgeld itself, had already been challenging the housing authority on asbestos. A local newspaper had also taken up the issue.
Do yourself a favor and read the entire article. The section about how much of a failure that bus trip was is classic and hilarious to boot. One thing I will give Obama credit for is this. He has managed to bamboozle more people than I could have ever imagined possible. None of his supporters have bothered to actually research him beyond his own website and even in the face of evidence to the contrary to who he says he is, they just don’t want to hear it.
Kovaleski wraps up the article with the most important part of the entire piece. The section that shows Obama for the light-weight, stamina-lacking joke that he is. He quit that "organizing" job. Cut tail and ran like the loser that he is despite all of his present touting of himself as some change agent who can get the job done. After that bus trip proved to be such miserable failure, this is what the Great Black Nope did.:
Later that night, Mr. Obama called Johnnie Owens, whom he would hire as a community organizer. Never had Mr. Obama sounded so downcast or frustrated, Mr. Owens said.
“Barack basically talked about how tough it was to generate real results through organizing and that it was embarrassing to him to have the residents out of control,” he recounted.
“He wondered if he had done a good enough job preparing them for the meeting,” Mr. Owens said. “He sounded angry at himself. He was questioning the whole methodology.”
Mr. Obama had risen to executive director of the Developing Communities group, but the demanding hours, small victories and low pay took a toll on him, and he decided to leave.
“ ‘We are not making large-scale change, and I want to be involved in doing that,’ ” Mr. Kellman said Mr. Obama had told him.
How can you be prepared to make "large-scale change" if you can’t even handle the small things? This man has bounced from one job to another over the years, having earned no real lengthy leadership experience and all of a sudden he’s ready to be leader of the free world??? And, this friends is the most hilarious part of the entire article:
Mr. Obama had mused to friends in Chicago about one day working for unions or becoming a preacher, a journalist or even a fiction writer.
I’d like to let Obama know that he can mark one of those things off of that list because he’s already an accomplished "fiction writer" as both of his memoirs are proving to be more-so works of fiction than fact. A Million Little Pieces, anyone?
One of the greatest things about his candidacy, for my own purposes, is that it has allowed me to break free from blind allegiance to the Democratic Party and democracy run amok. When I think back on John Kerry’s run for the presidency back in 2004, I can barely remember a thing about it. I wasn’t particularly pleased with him, but he was a Democrat, so of course I had to vote for him–or so I thought. In hindsight, Kerry was weak and he too was a joke. I should have just slept in on that morning back in 2004. Were it not for the absolute necessity that we do all we can to keep this con artist out of the White House, I would sleep in this go ’round. But, I’ll get up that morning and head to my local polling place to cast a vote for McCain if the DNC doesn’t come to its senses by August and make Hillary the official nominee. Who would have thought it would have come to this? Party Unity, My Ass. –SUGAR

Clinton had received nearly $307,000 from industry workers and their families and Republican Sen. I will be getting up to vote for McCain as well. I voted for that weakling Kerry for the good of the “Party,” eventhough I did not like him. Had the Democratic Party acted Democratic and in a fair way, I may have voted for Obama. But, with all that has “come out” and the fact that he’s an arrogant bastard, and I can’t stand him, I would have stayed home and not voted, and respected the party. No more though!

I like Mr. Steele I think he’s a very classy guy. Remember what was done to him because he ran as a Republican? They really did a number on him. There’s a shock.
His state legislative office records may have been thrown out, he told us.
He’s never released a specific list of law clients, instead giving a list of all of his firm’s clients, numbering several hundred each year. His campaign will only confirm representation when the media comes to them with a specific case.
He won’t release his application to the state bar. He’s never released any legal or billing records to verify that he only did a few hours of work for a nonprofit tied to Tony Rezko.
He’s never released any medical records, just a one-page letter from his doctor.
Does it bother anyone that a guy with political ambitions for his entire adult life has not left a paper trail?

There’s a difference between being “on the ballot” which is purely symbolic and having her name put in “nomination”. If Howard said, “on the ballot” he’s just trying to appease with an empty gift. What the Denver Group and others are demanding is that Hillary’s name be put in nomination. That is the only way the delegates will actually be able to vote for her should they so choose.

There is a bottom-up aspect to neighborhood security and a limited role for groups like the Guardian Angels, Nation of Islam, Brown Berets, but people are right to be nervous about such groups. If they are formed and empowered top-down you end up with Brownshirts, Blackshirts, and Red Guards.

BCM: The questions are legion and the implications of such an organization are staggering! What would it do? According to the title, it’s a civilian force so how would it go about discharging “national security” issues? What are the Constitutional implications for such a group? How is this to be paid for? Is this accounted for in some of Obama’s currently proposed tax increases or will we need more taxes to fund this enterprise? The statement was made in the context of youth service. Is this an organization for just the youth or are adults going to participate? How does one get away from the specter of other such “youth” organizations from Nazi Germany and the former Soviet Union when talking about it?
Joe Farah has, so far, been unsuccessful in getting any information out of the Obama camp on this. No MSM outlet is asking about it and the blogosphere is just ramping up. I’d like to see the rest of us get involved and get some clarity on exactly what Barack is proposing. At the least, it would seem a major expense that would have to be paid for. The ‘at worst’ options are pretty terrifying to contemplate. I’ve put in a request to the Obama campaign for some amplification and clarification. We’ll see what they have to say. What Obama is suggesting is what happens in Third World countries. Before you know it, your under a Dictatorship or Communism. These so called “civilians” start killing people that oppose them and then all you have worked for and own is taken by them. It happened to my mother and grandparents in Cuba. My mother and grandparents immigrated to this wonderful country in 1960 with only the clothes on there backs and $1000.00 that my grandfather was able to obtain before Castro and the “government” made of these “civilians” found out that my family had obtained a VISA to come to this country. After that, my family was thrown out on the streets, my grandparents home and properties were seized, and their bank accounts were frozen. My family was homeless for three days before they got on a Pan Am flight to Miami. No family or friends would take them in. Everyone was afraid of the repercussions.
If you look at the old films of Fidel Castro you can see the similarities in NOBAMA. It’s quite scary.

You know, I think small children of political figures should be off limits to comments and disparaging remarks. I did not like that the Obama’s used their adorable daugthers to “soften” their image during the access hollywood “ambush interview”. It was wrong.

I don’t know if that is exact, but I thought of that when all those children were dying in the streets of Chicago and Obama couldn’t even take 5 minutes from his tour to go home and address the pain of those families. He created that mess. I’ve been to Chicago many times. It wasn’t always like that in that area.
Then, I look at what Cindy McCain has done not only overseas, but in her own backyard. I looked at Meghan McCain’s blog and the McCains really do a lot for those that can’t. What Hillary and Bill have done, Bill had open heart surgery and where was he right after that surgery? Helping the people that suffered in Katrina. The last place he should have been.
I think we had two people that do have character, they may not be perfect…but they have true compassion for others. We got Obama? Why? What has he done to help others? Anyone? Other than himself? He came in on community projects at the end and took full credit for them all, with no credit to anyone else. He was handed 25 bills and never felt it was wrong he did none of the work. What are American’s thinking?
Cindy could be quite the “sleeper” in this story. I’m curious about her. I know she’s a recovering addict, and they often are very insecure and wouldn’t do well with too much “under the microscope.”

I’ll express my discontent at the polls. And I am sure that people have no problem telling pollsters the truth. It’s not like they will say anything. They are pollsters.

But I left that caucus knowing that I would NEVER EVER vote for Obama — if he is able to bring out the evil in people like he did in the caucus — then he must not be allowed to win! So far the cheater has blocked the real winner — Senator Clinton. If the Super delegates remain STUPID delegates and vote for snObama — then our only choice is to vote for McCain in November.
McCain I can respect. Obama I cannot respect.

Johnny at Work:I agree with you completely. And I almost get sick to my stomach when the idiot press compares him or his crude wife to JFK and Jackie. I wrote a Letter to the Editor of the SF Chronicle in response to a Sunday article about this…the pros and cons. Of course, they won’t print it although I have been in the Letters section numerous times over the years (first letter was in support of Bill and Hill in the ‘92 primary campaign). Along with disputing the comparison, I brought up the questions as to his true identity…re: Ayers, Kenyan political connections and the missing birth certificate. Probably too much to ask of the MSM.
Making the JFK comparison reminded me of President Kennedy’s wonderful sense of humor…Barack, of course, has none and uses sarcasm instead (I suppose he thinks that’s being funny). During the Kennedy administration, a one shot comic, Vaughn Meader, did an album parodying the entire family…called “The First Family”. It was sold out right away. When asked what he thought about it, JFK gave a spontaneous, perfect comeback…to the delight of the press corps. Something in line with yes, he had heard the album but “I thought it sounded more like Teddy.” I can’t imagine BO/MO being able to laugh at themselves. Terrorists are serious people and they aren’t in the business of comedy.

I think the charges of “racism” just because one doesn’t agree with BO has dropped off a little. Probably because BO supporters got their way, and Hillary suspended her campaign.
But everyone agrees that being called a racist is BS just because one disagrees with BO. And people have begun to fight back. At some point we have to stop the insanity, like the accusations that the term, “black hole” is racist. It has gone too far. If we are wise, honest, and NOT RACIST we can bring sanity back.

Sugar, you are right-on about allegiance to the party…I may actually throw a celebration! As a moderate leaning to conservative, I have been troubled by many Democtatic positions. Now that the Speaker and Majority leader are taking it on the chin from the “O”, I think a lot of us have had it!
I think a reporter who knows Obama from Chicago, said it well. “Yes, Obama is a cynic and a liar. Having spent about an hour alone with the man, I also think he’s very shallow, a rank hustler.”
