They even ban their own posters. I got booted after very civil and polite discussion. And their community for the most part isn’t aware of it. Because I had several posters asking me why I wasn’t answering. I was but my comments were “disappearing”

After getting too close to alerting the community, I too was banned.

Voting Obama is encouraging marketing techniques being mistaken for Policy decision-making. Fraudulent. And very Dangerour. Voting McCain is voting for bumbling, fumbling and, paradoxically, slightly more balanced perspective. He voted often with Democrats and he is a true Maverick. I saw his video (Canadian made) on his opposition to WAR. He was very convincing and honest. Neither candidate is inspiring and neither reassuring. My decision:

NoBama ‘08

and if (god forbid!) the skinny resume holder gets the top job….there’s always IMMIGRATION TO CANADA!! Universal health care since 1965 and Women’s Equal rights in their Constitution since ‘82 (unlike ERA)…

Another censorship site — MyDD. They seem to have purges once in a while, mostly against pro-Hillary people. You can be as polite as apple pie, but if you criticize Obama (especially if it happens to be a diary by one of the owners) you’ll get warned or banned.

I personally think it’s a point of pride to get warned by them (not if you’re name calling, of course). But trenchant criticism is not tolerated. Sad. People wasting their minds being propagandists rather than thinkers.

f you’re going to get attention, become a Liberal. They get more face time and are widely accepted by the mainstream media.

Um. Excuse me. From what planet do you hail? The view that is most represented in the media is the pro-industry, pro-corporate one beloved of Republicans, oligarchs, and Obama. Please show me where the mainstream media supports and encourages:

* Anti-war views (like when MSNBC fired Phil Donahue for having an anti-war show even though his was, at the time, the highest-rated show on MSNBC)
* Single-payer, universal health care
* Trade unions (there is not a single business reporter on any single major newspaper or TV broadcast news show that takes an anti-corporate, pro-union stance on ANY business issue)
* An end to unquestioned support of Israel
* Sustainable economies
* Criticism of job-killing free trade agreements
* An FDR-type Job Corps program, especially in Green
industries

These are ALL key “liberal” issues. They are routinely shunned from ANY appearance in the mainstream media. Environmental protection–that’s one that the Green movement has managed to make “cool” and “hip” so that gets some coverage but even then it’s pretty superficial coverage.

People like Kos and Arianna are not “lefties” or “liberals.” They are self-described “progressives,” an entirely different beast.

IF ONLY liberal/left views were given a prominent voice! I’d be in pig heaven and Obama would never have gotten a single vote!

Two can play this game. If these snot nosed punks think That I will cave in to their whining and their threats, they are sorely mistaken!

Correct-a-mundo. The liberal left never is satisfied with anything. They are perpetually disgruntled and need something to complain about in order to feel worthwhile, fulfilled. I believe that’s why the extreme left always supports candidates who are certain to lose. If they won, they’d have to stop being disgruntled and then would have nothing to live for. The right wingers have many terrible faults, but being perpetual complainers is not one of them. The right likes to win.
