The “liberal media” charge only serves to empower conservative media like Fox, talk radio, etc. which makes the problem even worse. That is why we need to speak out on this issue.

I agree entirely. I can’t believe that there aren’t *real* journalists somewhere that are OUTRAGED at their profession. Lou Dobbs is the only one I’vd heard express any kind of outrage at his fellow journalists. It’s amazing to me that it’s so widespread–tv, print, radio–NPR is disgusting in their pro-Obama love fest.

What is your problem? Of course McCain’s pride is wounded as well it should be. He used to occupy the place Obama is in now - the idol of the credulous, unquestioning press, who belly laughed at his “hilarious” stories about graduating at the bottom of his class at Annapolis and running around with strippers..the same press that during the 8 years of the Clinton presidency suggested that Clinton had “no class” and was a hick from the sticks despite his education at Georgetown, Oxford and Yale. The point is that Tucker is right - the press’s treatment of Obama is exactly like a teenage crush. They should all be fired for this egregious behavior, whether they show overt love for one candidate or obvious hatred for another.

Oh and by the way, I’ve known John McCain for years. Have you ever met him?

Thank you for that post educatedwhitewoman. I read it in a comment yesterday (by Libertybelle I think) and was impressed and commented on it then. I am not a psychologist, but I was wondering if you, as a psychologist would agree that many lay people who are very sensitive to this personality would pick up on it and be adverse to Obama. Especially people with first hand experience dealing with someone who shares these traits. I’ve read several comments on this site from people who shared this feeling. Many may not be able to pinpoint it to this disorder but express a general feeling of uncomfortableness or anxiety about him. To borrow a quote from Donna Brazille, my mother taught me to trust my instincts.

I still love Morning Joe, where the gang beats up on BO pretty regularly, and even Mika’s unfettered love for BO is regularly put down by Joe. This morning they had her Dad and Obamabot Zbigniew Brzezinski on–he was god-awful boring so I switched to Fox and Friends, who were thrashing the Precious’s Rainbow Tour and its many gaffes. That was fun.
