If You Tell The Truth, You Are Rude….

winking-cougar-print-c10054490.jpgA very good friend of mine from Nigeria always had a saying, “If you tell the truth, then you are rude.” This always applied in the context of not being as political or as diplomatic in a work setting as one might be; but I think it really applies to what is happening right now with Obama and his Obamanation or The Borg Collective, as I like to call the “messiah’s” movement that has almost completely assimilated the MSM as of today.

I guess I’m about to be very, very, VERY, abysmally rude.

I’ve said this before and I will continue to say it.

It is time to put the welfare of this great country ahead of whatever agenda the DNC has with getting Barack Obama elected…or did you lose control of him when he moved your headquarters to Chicago? Did you forget that he was groomed in one of the most corrupt political systems in America; Chicago?

Personally, I would like to know what that agenda is, because, in my humble opinion, what we have been told is not the truth. What is it DNC? You want to be the ones that say “we are more progressive; we nominated and tried to elect the First Black President.” Barack Obama is not going to make our lives better or get our soldiers out of Iraq. The Borg Prince is all about being a consumer and trading up.

Obama has said numerous politically expedient comments like he would filibuster FISA and then turned around and voted for the continued spying on American citizens, just to name one. His tango movement to the right has been all about control. Was Don and Alice’s letter a cry for help? If you have fallen victim to the Borg Collective, PUMAs are here to help. We are all about the Koolaid detox process and helping those that want to join PUMA and Just Say No Deal. If he double-crossed you, (and you know who you are), and you are running scared, then we will help you as long as you put Hillary’s name into nomination and kick his sorry butt to the curb. Oh, Wow, did I say all of that out loud?

What did we start with; the questions Obama wouldn’t allow to be asked and then move onto (still) not producing true, viable vital records, a 75,000-seat stadium for his worship and to scare the bejesus out of the delegates, and now we have a speech about a civilian army that is as numerous, well trained and well funded as our military. Why? Is there a threat of attack that we need to have a standing army here, armies in two nations, and troops all over the world….or is this army to control us, the American people. That’s going to go over as well as a tourette’s syndrome episode in church. I know, I know, being waaaaay rude over here.

The Borg Prince is now trying to sell himself to the Democrats, Independents, Republicans, Green, Libertarians…etc., and quite a few Americans are not having any of it. He is using Marketing 101 by making all his greatest weaknesses look like strengths. Obama is on his first rock star world tour to make his lack of experience in foreign affairs look like a fact finding mission that he should have been doing all along. He is hoping to achieve the required marketed results from this stagecraft production; namely an increase in his ever decreasing poll numbers. Where is that 20 point lead he should have by now? Sitting squarely in the PUMA’s camp.

Do not let the Borg Collective assimilate you. Obama has lost that tiny bump he gained when Clinton suspended and now is trying desperately to create a facade of upright leadership, experience, good judgement….yada, yada, yada. He is trying to create momentum out of thin air, because he has nothing to offer the American people….nothing but what he offers while he campaigns…an empty chair.

UPDATE: 7/22/08: According to Rasmussen, John McCain now leads Barack Obama by 10 points in the SWING State of Ohio. So much for getting the rest of the world to elect our next president.

How about ten little “monkeys” - politicians jumping on the bus, one fell off and bumped his head. Momma “Pelosi” called the “Dean” and the “Dean” said. “Obambi don’t need him. just throw him under the bus.”

BREAKING NEWS:

BBC24 are reporting live with regards to Obama speech. They have just showed a clip of the medias love affair with Obama from McCains website. The BBC24 news reporters are talking about his flip-flops.

The BBC is not falling for Obama. There are thousands of people there, they are all away down to the gate. I notice his script on the podium.

Will be watching this speech via the BBC, can’t wait for the reporters to talk about it afterwards.

She leads the country with her heart and mind. BHO “tries” to lead the country with his EGO.

“Obama, Jerusalem is not for sale!!”

Good grief I hope the world sees this video. The nerve of this guy.

Comment by Lou | 2008-07-24 11:38:57

Quote:
Obama Visits Western Wall; Hears Psalm and Heckling

And then one man at the Wall began screaming: “Obama, Jerusalem is our land! Obama, Jerusalem is not for sale!”

He kept yelling this for Obama’s entire 10 minutes at the Wall, refusing to stop despite repeated entreaties to do so from the crowd.

“It was rowdier than the last time I was there, you know?” Obama told reporters on the plane. “I mean, people were sort of, like, holerin’. You know I was expecting more reverence.”
He is such a phony and liar. What a hypocrite to stand at the West Wall when he is a muslim. I just hope the people of this country open their eyes to him and see just what he really is.
Maybe the campaign signs had a little something to do with lack of reverence.
If this is a Congressional Fact finding Trip paid for by our Taxes and not a campaign trip, Why is the campaign crap being shown? Despite all the Obama camp BS of it’s not a campaign trip, here is proof otherwise.
I believe the Senate should hand him a bill for the whole trip.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-07-24 11:41:37

Lou, I enjoy a lot of your comments, but Obama isn’t Muslim.

My son was Muslim for awhile. I live in LA where there’s a sizeable Muslim population from Iran, etc.

Obama isn’t Muslim.

BTW, loads of Muslims are perfectly compatible with Palestinian AND Isralaeli goals. They know the drill, they see the problems, and they are as supportive of a solution as any Baptist could be.

So let’s not swipe all Muslims with the same card, huh?

I’m in agreement in part. I do think the election was engineered behind the scenes, with well-placed remarks by the AA congressmen and Obama supporters who lied to the public repeatedly and called for unprecedented actions.

I’m furious.

However, I do not believe it’s appropriate for Hillary to be installed at this stage either. It’s too late, in my opinion, for such a move. NOW it would be devastating to the country, and I trust that Hillary would do nothing to harm the country.

Obama is simply too entrenched as the candidate. He’s turned the election itself into a referendum on him. McCain is obviously a vote against Obama for a lot of people. It would be shocking to actually see a different Democratic candidate now.

So I believe the best action is simply to defeat Obama. Let the Democrats lose. Make sure the message is sent as to WHY this loss is happening.

It’s unacceptable to many Democrats to have a back-room deal made while pretending to try to avoid it. It was wrong to bully Hillary. It continues to be wrong to bully her fundraisers and supporters. Bullying doesn’t work.

That’s a message I’m willing to embrace.

Comment by AnnieO | 2008-07-24 09:36:22

I agree that HRC becoming the nominee is a major long-shot. It seems to defy logic that the parties have their nomination process occur so late in the game.

If HRC is not the nominee, we should do some major fundraising for McCain. I believe voting for McCain is the best strategy to defeat BO. As another blogger had written, “A write-in vote or staying home is really a vote for BO.”

Comment by missE | 2008-07-24 09:52:57

AnninCa,

I agree nothing is more pathetic than a bully and that tactic has never worked on me.

Unless something huge happens Obama will be the nominee. I will never vote for him but I do not want Hillary to be blamed for his loss. I think people need to see that Obama and the DNC did this to themselves otherwise we will have to live with Obama as a victim of the “evil Clintons” and the DNC will never change.

I love the winking puma, I find myself doing that myself alot these days when talking to my Obama friends.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-07-24 11:45:28

Hillary won’t be blamed. She’s incognito now! Her latest news items are all about her state senate duties and the battles for NY industry.

It’s picture perfect.

Bill……he’s announced a new AIDS push. Can’t exactly complain about that.

The Clintons are taking a back seat and look very graceful there.

Obama is on his own. He must build his own coalition.

He’s raised very little for Hillary. She’s raised a lot for him.

She’s still 22 million in debt, and only a small portion is for consultants. The argument that they don’t want to support Penn is false.

So they have no reason to complain about former Hillar supporters.

Comment by Fred C. Dobbs | 2008-07-24 11:43:19

Anninca I couldn’t agree with you more. It is about taking back control of our party. Many here seem to think that this has been a left wing coup of our party but the exact opposite is true. This has been a coup by business and special interests. This is a candidate with no true core beliefs unable to think for himself and has been installed by the same interests that installed Bush in power. It has become so obvious now I am surprised there hasn’t been any discussion of the subject. You can dress a pig in progressives clothes but it still smells like a pig.

Comment by wodiej | 2008-07-24 09:47:49

I agree unless Obama does something blatantly awful or something in his past as such comes out, riots and all kinds of violence would break out if delegates actually put Hillary in as nominee. I would even go so far as to say I would fear for her life. I’m with you…let the Republicans take him down. They are dirtier than he is.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-24 10:03:05

I disagree. If we continue that logic then the same would be true about not “allowing” him to win the GE. Or “denying” him the presidency as some bots have said all along. That is caving in to the thugs. Even if it doesn’t work in Denver, the point is to try, and not give in to the thugs, that’s giving them more power.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-24 10:09:04

Oh and your comment that the Republicans would be able to take him down because they are dirtier than he is…again, I disagree. I used to think that too, that our party was the “good guys”…this new democratic is unlike anything I’ve seen before. It goes beyond “dirty tricks”. Thuggery, bullying, threats (including death threats to American citizens who dare speak out!) No, I think we need to try to stop this in Denver. Even if its just a strong statement of discontent that can carry over to the GE.

Comment by tzada | 2008-07-24 10:50:06

Well I have to disagree. I am a Republican or was until either fraud or a compter glitch made me a Democrat. That said I have not held to party lines in voting but vote for the good of the country. I am a law abiding citizen and am loyal to my country the USA. So please don’t label Republicans dirty in a general manner. I would vote for Hillary over Obama and McCain over Hillary. I voted for Bill Clinton once. I would vote for any known dictator before I would vote for Obama. He scares me, him with his “security force.” Sorta kinda like the SS? And Obama stands at the Nazi Gate …….

To think that many considered the Clintons to be the knee-cappers!

The Collective is on equal footing with the worst of the FRW…they employ the same tactics and have successfully mastered their playbook. When the word “racist” is code-word for what we used to call dissent, something is far, far wrong.

The fear of riots is a tactic the Obama campaign has been using for a long time. If a bunch of idiots want to riot they will be arrested. Our nation is strong and will survive. We should never submit to mob rule unless we want to give rise to a dictator. So what would be next? We better elect Obama as president or else there might be riots? How would McCain have to beat him in order to prevent the riots? Where does this stop? With me it stops with nominating Hillary.

Comment by SpotOn | 2008-07-24 11:38:45

Agreed. Let them riot. It’s always their own neighborhoods that they burn down. When South Central LA burned after the rodney King trial, most of America was unsympathetic.

We can’t let it get that far. If he gets the official nomination, then the Republicans are going to bury him with adverts rightfully questioning his ability and honesty.

What we are after is a Democratic win with Hillary. That is what I think this is all about. Not voting for McCain, but getting Hillary nominated.

Comment by Zee | 2008-07-24 09:52:08

No doubt, Ann…I’ve seen you make too many dubious statement to embrace this one.

Nice try, tho.

It’s not that it would be “devastating” to “install” Hillary now. Bullshit.

It’s that there are overwhelming odds against it because people in general are so misinformed.

They started in 2004-2005 to INSTALL OBAMA. It’s impossible to “install” Hillary because SHE HAS THE VOTES.

But if you’re a republican who’s been for McCain all along, just say so.

The rest of us will vote for McCain when and if the time comes, AS A PROTEST VOTE.

There is NO need for ANY DEM to rush that day. So hold your horses, mole.

Comment by AnninCa | 2008-07-24 09:57:24

You’re being rude. I’ve voted straight Democrat for 35 years.

But I will absolutely define myself as a moderate Democrat. Moderate….gradual change works.

If you don’t agree with me, that’s OK. That’s another hallmark of a moderate. We’re not overly insistent on agreement.

However, I do take offense at the notion that I’m a Republican mole. I hardly know any Republican names, even, because I’ve never paid any attention to them, nevermind voted for one.

So bite it.

Comment by Peggy Sue | 2008-07-24 10:30:43

I don’t think it serves anyone’s interests to fight about who we may or may not vote for. Why? Because we can all agree:

It will not be Obama.

If his presumptive status is confirmed in August [as I suspect it will be--not that it's fair or right but because there's too much money involved and gargantuan egos on the line]then we’ll all go to the polls and privately pull our respective levers.

For me, it may be McCain but it depends on his VP choice. I cannot support a Bobby Jindal or Huckabee decision. They seem like perfectly nice men but their stands on certain social issues makes them unacceptable and neither has the experience or gravitas if McCain were to become ill or worse.

Where would I go from there? Maybe Nader. Maybe the Green Party. Or maybe a write-in. I don’t know yet. I’m leaving my options open.
But I will vote, only not for the Dems and not for this candidate.

After it’s all said and done, the Democratic Party deserves to lose in this cycle. And if they do, it will send a chilling message: we demand more than marketing images and empty words. We want a true leader, not the Pied Piper and his band of comatose supporters.

Comment by Hope Floats | 2008-07-24 14:32:22

I wish McCain would just man up and pick Olympia Snowe. Millions of Clinton supporters and one issue voters can take a hike. I’m tired of the conservatives giving McCain a hard time for the Gang of 14 while Obama is hailed as a uniter not a divider.

Even down ticket Democrats I have worked for in the past because the only way the Democratic Party can see what they has done is to lose BIG.

Comment by jadwiga | 2008-07-24 10:57:30

The Democratic Party is in deep doodoo as it is. A new change in behavior will not ruin it more. Hillary doesn’t need to be ‘installed’ - let the votes work their way in the Convention.

Since our goal is to prevent Obama from being president, what comes of a change in nomination is actually achieving this goal.

Hillary would have a very hard time to start a meaningful campaign - but I trust her, she can pull it off. She is the one by the way who can calm the raw emotions within the Party too.

It is silly and giving in to the blackmail of ‘Unity’ and bs. like that to take her off the ballot!

There can be no such concern that overrides the need for a President who actually will NOT ruin this country.

Don’t leave the task to the Republicans! They have their own problems and Karl Rove doesn’t seem to be a part of the efforts. By the way what kind of attitude is to leave it to our opponents (reps) to fix our problem? I admit, I count on them, but I don’t rely on them!

Daley, Rezco, Soros, other unknown foreign interests? Whoever they are they will do anything to win power. Which means they need to be stopped.

Comment by Northwest rain | 2008-07-24 16:20:56

This is also how I feel about the election.

At this point we can see that Obama is a sure bet to lose in November. There is no way that Dean & Donna & Axlerod will allow Hillary to be the nominee — the game is fixed and has been since the beginning.

However, we cannot allow the DNC to select and then force their will on America. At this point in time Obama is a dangerous untested and unproven candidate.

So we have to send Howie Dean and Donna etc. a message —

Country First

The Republican primary voters were so damned smart — they selected the ONE candidate that democrats will vote for in November. The democrat side also chose a strong candidate — Clinton. But the DNC selected Obama.

I’m glad that the Denver Group is making a stand — hopefully they won’t be taken over by the Obama collective.

why
Obama’s poll numbers are anemic:

Lots of speculation on the web, and in whispering circles, about why Obama’s foreign trip–a slam-dunk success substantively and in photo-op terms (Obama laughing with Petraeus in the helicopter was the best)–hasn’t resulted in a polling bump.

Looks like the glitterati in the “whispering circles” are concerned…

Comment by I, Bama | 2008-07-24 10:13:15

I linked the article to the word “why” in my post above, it’s kind of hard to see.

Most of the commenters are outraged that Klein is addressing the reality of BO’s lackluster polling.

Joke Line is an absolute hack. Did you check this out? According to Joe, people think Obama is being presumptuous:

(And presumption, of course, always comes with the subterranean tinge of racism.)

No. He. Didn’t.

It’s presumptuous because Obama is not the President! He’s not even the nominee yet!

OMG, I am so tired of this racism bullshit. I can only imagine the guffaws and attacks that the media would perpetrate on Hillary if she showed one-tenth of the hubris Obama is showing by going on this propaganda extravaganza. AND THEY WOULD BE RIGHT.

Obama thinks he will win Americans’ hearts and minds if he shows them all the pretty pictures he took on his study-abroad program.

Well, I read that Joke Line thing and, although they may be “concerned,” it’s obvious Joe still has that thrill running up his leg. And he still sounds like a giddy teenager - same as the rest of the paparazzi media.

“Obama laughing in the helicopter with Patreus was THE BEST!” (Oh yeah, our bambi is just THE BEST, isn’t he?)

“…slam-dunk SUBSTANTIVELY…” Who the hell is he kidding? A SUBSTANTIVE success? According to the sycophantic media?

No matter how “journalistic” Klein is trying to pretend to be, his groupieness still comes through loud and clear.

The poor paparazzi media - no matter how much they try to cram their “messiah” down our throats, we, the great unwashed masses, still ain’t buying. How dare we not give him the bump they keep telling us he deserves! How dare we not obey them! Gee the whole country must be as dim and as bitter as they told us West Virginia and Kentucky were!

Yeah, baby! PUMA!

Comment by mahaska | 2008-07-24 14:41:56

What a dick. Substantive success, well if it doesn’t result in an increase in your numbers, here in real world that means it’s a failure.
They keep pushing and pushing. they can’t figure out that it’s over for bo. He’s done. He can go sit in a padded room and keep thinking he’s president.

I Bama — Looks like the media will have to resort to the phoney polls they use when they can’t manipulate us any other way. On AOL’s main page today it says — Will The Speech be Obama’s JFK Moment. First of all JFK was President and he was in a position to do something for Germany. Second of all Obama is no JFK. Stick with it people. All Obama offers is sizzle. After the World juggernaut what then–Obama speaks from Outer Space. Or perhaps Obama turns water into wine. Nah thats been done. Its gotta be something REALLY BIG.

Comment by TeakWoodKite | 2008-07-24 11:58:23

The use of the phrase “slam-dunk” is why BO is anemic.

roseeriter — This is country cannot afford this Rock Star Messiah. Notice the Israelis were not buying him either. He only spent 15 minutes at the Wailing Wall — the shouting frightened him.

The possibility of suicide bombers frightened him…

No Obama! Go Hillary 08!
I cannot stand to hear Obama’s voice, see his face or anything else about him. It just saddens me so
much that the nation has even let him get this far.

Comment by s. hall | 2008-07-24 11:08:28

larse — 18 million people voted against Obama. If it were not for the cheating he did in the caucuses which was sanctioned by the DNC, he would be nowhere now. 14% of Democrats are going to be voting for McCain who already has 86% of Republicans. Obama is only getting 77% of the Democrats and Republicans are running from him in droves. Say a prayer and everytime the media tries to sell the sizzle–think steak.

Comment by JP49 | 2008-07-24 11:38:34

Well 77% is just too many democrats. All they all braindead? I could never vote for Obama, such a fraud and truly despicable person.

Comment by imustprotest | 2008-07-24 13:30:19

Obama’s people are pushing hard on voter registration. They want an huge influx of new, younger voters registered. I hope somebody is really checking the “new” regististrants to make sure they’re not coming from the obituary pages and graveyards!

Unfortunately the DNC has put the Democrats and the country in a lose-lose situation. If Hillary were to be nominated the Barack voters, including millions of AA, will stay home. But with Barack as the nominee the Dems lose either to McCain or by an Obama presidency which will set the Dems back a decade when the one term Barack destroys the credibility of the party.

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-07-24 09:40:50

Obama (and Dean and Brazile) have already destroyed the credibility of the party.
