Thank God for the youth and the previously disenchanted because they will save poor lost souls such as you when they elect Obama the next President of the United States. I pray for all of you lost souls every day. Anyone who believes that the Clintons are the only ones who can save this country are really sad and narrow minded.

I voted for Bill Clinton, but I have had enough of the Clintons. Inspite of how I feel about the Clintons, I would have supported Hillary over John McCain if she had won the nomination.

I think PUMA represents about 17%, maybe less of that figure.

We ARE the Democratic workhorses in many places, and we’re walking out on the party this year.

That has, for sure, shocked people.

Democratic offices all over the country are in an uproar because Obama’s plans don’t even include them. He’s coming in and swiping the Dem money raised for his campaign alone, leaving down-ticket Dems to come to him and beg for money.

It’s pathetic. He’s not playing by Democratic rules.

But then, that doesn’t surprise most of us.

Keep Obama out of the Whitehouse; our country cannot take another incompetent as POTUS.

Well stated. Yes, the horrible treatment of Senator Clinton is as unforgiveable as it is unforgettable. And no one from his campaign or the media wants to acknowledge that it even happened.

What you write here is a perfect summary of why many Hillary supporters will not vote for him. Rightfully so.

We are in dire straits in our country at the moment.

It would be heartening to think that anyone in the media actually gave enough of a damn to report the truth. But if they had bothered to do their jobs, as you point out, we would not be in this horrible fix.

What’s ultimately disturbing here is that if the media had done their job and properly vetted Obama these many months, we likely would not be in such a predicament now. Who among us really wants to consider not voting, or, worse, voting for McCain this November? At a time when the country is facing the worst economic and political situation I can recall, brought about by the utterly disastrous Bush presidency, it is nearly unfathomable that we should not be wholeheartedly rallying around a Democratic candidate, assuring a landslide sweep into the Oval Office this fall.

Yet, here we are. And with only a few months to go, I, for one, am as turned off as ever by Barack Obama, his wife, his campaign, and most especially the Kool-Aid chugging media backing him without the merest shred of something, anything, meritorious to substantiate their fascination with and support of him. It’s beyond my comprehension.

Even now, as he flip-flops, falters and flat-out lies, the media resist taking him to task, instead glossing over his rough spots, making allowances, making excuses. It’s pathetic. And appalling.

And they still don’t get it. There’s not just one reason so many Hillary supporters refuse to consider voting for Obama, there are numerous and various reasons. The Obama reasons are evident — not vetted, empty suit, inexperienced, flip-flopper, racist, Rev. Wright, etc. — but what the press consistently fails to recognize is that women are outraged, yes OUTRAGED, by the disrespectful way Hillary Clinton was treated during the primaries, and by the sexist undertones rampant in the news coverage to this day. Women have been brushed off, cast aside and continually belittled throughout the campaign season; is it any wonder then that so very many of us are unwilling to come around to Obama now? Any wonder that “Not Ready to Make Nice” by the Dixie Chicks has become a veritable theme song for so many of us who hold steadfast to our vow to oppose Obama?

The Boys’ Club would do well to remember that old adage about “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.”

During the primary season, he went on air and publicly and contemptuously described Sen. Clinton as

Actually, I personally feel that it would be an honour to be called a Scolding Mother. For whom would you rather have leading a country and setting priorities, an arrogant, rapper-wannabe teenager or a stern parent who could put some order into a chaotic family also known as U. S. of A.?!
