Hillary Defends Medicare

There are so many reasons why we need Hillary and the health care issues are of major importance to me.

I’ve read that Obama’s backers, mostly wall street people/corporations, plan on privatizing social security and privatizing many other things that are more republican and neocon plans than democratic.

Obama does not care about his people, let alone those of us who oppose him. Wake up BOTS!

There Hillary goes again. She’s standing up for the American people. Obviously she’s not fit to be POTUS.
She’s fighting for the things so-called liberals and progressives claim they want.

Once again the evil Hillary stands up for all Americans.

But Obama is overseas promising hope and change. Hillary’s here in the US delivering hope and change in the form of promoting and passing or stopping legislation.

Hillary has gone power mad in her quest to help average Americans. Obama helped average Americans by voting for FISA giving telecomms immunity. Now they can spy on anyone and never face a court of law.

Well this is no suprise to me that Hillary stood up for US AGAIN.

Once again Hillary shows what the Clintons have always done. She worked across the table to make the bill veto-proof. They have to work together for all of us. The final tally was a veto-proof 69-30.

I heard some of Obama’s speech in Berlin this morning. When he was mouthing hackneyed platitudes (”I come here not as a Presidential Candidate but as a citizen of the United States and the World….we need to win the War of Ideas against Terrorism…”) he got big applause. When he began to talk about specific issues, the crowd grew very quiet (and, I think bored.) When he went back to platitudes, the audience came back to.

It’s pretty obvious to me that, just like in the US, audiences are enthusiastic about seeing Obama, not about his positions on issues. They want to hear “inspiring” soundbites, not policies.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton was criticized in the media throughout the primary season for being “wonkish,” which is media-speak for “focused on the issues.” McCain is snarked at because “no way could HE fill a football stadium with screaming fans.”

This is the way we judge candidates and elect Presidents? God help us.

This is the current mentality of the younger generation…American Idol and Survivor.

You would think there would be a reporter somewhere that would like to report the truth about Obama. I don’t think the truth is that hard to get to. We know it. Who is that one courageous person with clout who will finally stand and say “the emperor has no clothes.”

This country needs to be told the truth about Obama before he is nominated. After will be too late. I can’t believe we aren’t marching in the streets over this fairy tale that the American people are living.

Where are the damn democrats in congress (all SDs) who are willing to stand up and say “I am not going to take it anymore.” If they don’t come forward, we need to vote them out in November. What sorry pieces of shit those democrats are.

Hillary is the only candidate that has a chance of changing the world. She would never give up. In every position Obama has held, there has been nothing to distinguish him from any of the losers he has been hanging with. He is a run-of-the- mill politician. Nothing he has ever done is outstanding. Does he even dare touch the hem of Hillary’s pant suit? Everyday, more and more, I feel the loss of Hillary, a very special woman in my lifetime.

Susan, while listening to this speech, I’m almost crying…thinking about how my Democratic party could have derailed this fine candidate, this gem of a woman. One who is so bright, so articulate and so compassionate. (And how refreshing to hear a “wonkish” approach!) And all for what?
