Ah…Sorry To Bother You Mr. Obama, Sir

Excuse me Mr. Obama, I mean Senator Obama, sir. Um……I know you are busy and important and stuff. I mean running for president is very important and….

…..ah………I hate to bother you. I will only take a minute ok, sir?

See, I have these missing pieces that are holding me up, and I was wondering sir, if you could take time out of your busy schedule and help me out. You know, no big deal, just some loose ends and things.

Hey, you have a nice place here! The wife sees houses like this on TV all the time and says boy she wishes she had digs like this you know? Is that painting real? Really??? Wow. I saw something like that in a museum once!

Oh, sorry sir. I didn’t mean to get off the track. So if you could just help me out a minute and give me some details, I will get right out of your way. I want to close this case and maybe take the wife to Coney Island or something. Ever been to Coney Island? No, I didn’t think so…….

Well, listen, anyways, I can’t seem to get some information I need to wrap this up. These things seem to either be “locked” or “not available’. I’m sure it’s just some oversight or glitch or something, so if you could you tell me where these things are….. I….I…. have them written down here somewhere….oh wait. Sorry about the smears. It was raining out. I’ll just read it to you.

Could you help me please find these things, sir?

Your Occidental College records
Your Columbia College records
Your Columbia Thesis paper
Your Harvard College records
Your Selective Service Registration
Your medical records
Your Illinois State Senate records
Your Illinois State Senate schedule
Your Law practice client list
A Certified Copy of your original Birth certificate
Your embossed, signed paper Certification of Live Birth
Your Harvard Law Review articles that were published
Your University of Chicago scholarly articles
Your Record of baptism

Oh hey…listen! I know you are busy! Is this too much for you now? I mean tell you what. I will come back tomorrow. Give you some time to get these things together, you know? I mean, I know you are busy, so I will just let myself out. I will be back tomrorrow. And the day after……

The Problem for Obama is that he has everything to hide. In nearly 2 years of running for the Presidency he still has no clear vision of where he wants to take this country. He could have spent the last 2 years learning the issues but instead its been all about becoming famous for being famous. The myth of Obama is fading and we see a man who is dancing as fast as he can to continue to impress us. Even the youth are tiring of the phenom. And for the rest of us who have serious issues of our own to deal with Obama has become more of a nuisance than a man we want to lead this country.

Obama is afraid he can’t close the deal and he can’t. You can only watch a clown perform the same act so many times before your eyes cross at the sight of him. Now he won’t debate with McCain — because he is frightened when he sees anyone who has principles and values. Obama is frightened of us and we are frightened of this arrogant insecure imposter. Lets call the whole thing off.

hahahaha

Thanks Uppity W for an early morning shot of caffeine.

I do believe he never wrote anything for the Harvard Law Review or while he was teaching. In the latter years he was too busy writing fiction.

A new topic for consideration this morning —

Well, the pundits are wrong again. How about asking voters if they thought McCain or Obama was being racist?

From Rasmussen:

Sunday, August 03, 2008

Sixty-nine percent (69%) of the nation’s voters say they’ve seen news coverage of the McCain campaign commercial that includes images of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and suggests that Barack Obama is a celebrity just like them. Of those, just 22% say the ad was racist while 63% say it was not.

However, Obama’s comment that his Republican opponent will try to scare people because Obama does not look like all the other presidents on dollar bills was seen as racist by 53%. Thirty-eight percent (38%) disagree.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/only_22_say_mccain_ad_racist_but_over_half_53_see_obama_dollar_bill_comment_that_way

But you are so right. Where are these records? What is he hiding?

I’d love to see the Columbia transcript. Hey, Kerry and Bush were no great shakes in college. I don’t believe Gore was either. (Bill Clinton, on the other hand, was a Rhodes Scholar.)

And what could be in those medical records? Problems with addictions? I’m just speculating. How long did his cocaine usage really last? Again, I have no knowledge here — but really, what could he be hiding?

Medical records often contain your religious preference, in case you need a clergyperson to pray with your family in the event of serious injury or illness.

Off topic, I heard today that a reporter has written a column saying that the McCain ad with Brittany and Paris in it was racist because with Obama being black and the girls young and white it is the old personna of a black man hitting on young white women. WTF? I never pulled that out of that ad and only a racist reporter would be able to pull that out of his a@@! Geez! I shake my head so much every day I am going to have to sue the Obama campaign for personal injury!

Comment by JozefAL | 2008-08-03 13:12:06

Somewhat ironically, the only reason the McCain ad COULD use Britney and Paris is the overall lack of African-American celebrities who get the same level of media coverage.
Now, had the paparazzi been covering AA celebrities the way they do with white celebs like Britney, Paris, Lindsay Lohan, Brangelina, etc, maybe the McCain team who produced the ad could have used those personalities in the ad but THAT would have been deemed “racist” in the old you see, “those” people really AREN’T like the rest of “us” way.

Yes, and where were you good Senator Obama November 4-8, 1999? Your office says they don’t have record of your senatorial whereabouts then. Why not? We know…you were in Chicago area at a law conference sponsored by Northwestern University and in Gurnee Illinois, not far from Chicago with Larry Sinclair in the limo doing crack cocaine and having gay sex.

Comment by Watchoveramerica | 2008-08-03 12:56:53

You probably have good intentions Gracie (my dogs name too) but Larry Sinclair is a scum bag, even worse than Obama so I don’t think you are helping our cause here by bringing up Larry Sinclair.

There are REAL associations, and REAL issues that Obama can’t explain but a long time criminal fag like Sinclair is one that who cares about that creep?

Now Odinga, Ayers, Dohrn, Pfleger,Rezco, Meeks,
Auchi, Jeremiah Wright and Michelle Obama not to mention “Ludicris” and Bernie Mac, these are associations that are “REAL” and Obama cannot deny these exist.
Love the article Uppity Woman.

Comment by s. hall | 2008-08-03 13:56:30

watchoveramerica — Don’t single out Larry Sinclair for your scumbag Hall of Fame. There are plenty of other pals of Obama’s who qualify–all of which have one thing in common. They are all full of hate for this country, its people and its women. Larry provided a service why should that make him worse than Obama’s pal who bombed this country and who’s sorry he didn’t bomb more buildings?

Comment by Kathy | 2008-08-03 20:24:14

I wouldn’t dismiss Larry out of hand. You say he is a criminal fag–which part of that bothers you? Sinclair provided the dates he’d been with Obama long before Senate records surfaced showing Obama missing those days. If the records had shown Obma in attendance, Sinclair’s story would have been blown out of the water. No one has proved Sinclair wrong. Just another thing the MSM could investigate, but chooses not to.

”No Liberation:
Obama may have left Trinity, but he’s still on the Left.”

By Stanley Kurtz

Comment by Elle | 2008-08-03 21:44:28

Thanks, beebop. This is huge.
I hope it gets more coverage.

“Give me 50 Pflegers or 50 Wrights, Obama is saying, tie them to a network of grassroots activists like my companions from Acorn, and we can revolutionize urban politics.

Mystery Solved
So it would appear that Obama’s own writings solve the mystery of why he stayed at Trinity for 20 years. Obama’s long-held and decidedly audacious hope has been to spread Wright’s radical spirit by linking it to a viable, left-leaning political program, with Obama himself at the center. The revolutionizing power of a politically awakened black church is not some side issue, or merely a personal matter, but has been the signature theme of Obama’s grand political strategy.

Lucky for Obama, this political background is unfamiliar to most Americans. There are others who share Obama’s approach, however. Take a look at this piece by Manhattan Institute scholar Steven Malanga on “The Rise of the Religious Left,” and you will see exactly where Obama is coming from. Malanga ends his account by noting that religious-left activists often partner with groups like MoveOn.org and attend gatherings featuring speakers like Michael Moore. After the 2004 election, there was some talk of the Democratic party “purging” MoveOn and Moore. Far from purging its radical Left, however, the Democratic party is now just inches away from placing it in the driver’s seat. That is the real meaning of the fiasco at Trinity Church.” by Stanley Kurtz

Comment by ritamary | 2008-08-03 22:46:59

I disagree with this article’s interpretation of Obama’s behavior. If he is so committed to restructuring society according to a leftist vision, why did he use his political power to benefit corrupt cronies such as Tony Rezko? Obama used his power to screw exactly those people he supposedly is so concerned about. Obama is not a leftist or a conservative; he is an opportunist.

Comment by Inhumancannonball | 2008-08-03 08:43:27

you can cross off at least two of the items–
Obama has never published anything in the law review or as a “lecturer” at University of Chicago.
in fact, other former Harvard editors say he never even EDITED an article. as a law school graduate, and member of my school’s law review, that is frankly bizarre. i don’t know how they do things at harvard, but at my school, members of law review spent, on average, 30 to 50 hours a week working on edits of articles, preparing them for publication (editing and proofing the footnotes for content and proper citation). and, everyone was required to write a student “note” though not everyone’s note was selected for publication.
from what obama himself has said, he spent more time in law school playing basketball than doing law review work or studying. sound familiar? so i find it absurd that his celebrity status was apparently launched when he became president of the law review. talk about bs.

Comment by Uppity Woman | 2008-08-03 08:54:23

I know you are right. Every attorney I know is scratching his or her head. Law review and no publishing? The same goes for academia, where publishing is the Norm….particularly if you are actually a professor.

Comment by bemused | 2008-08-03 09:03:03

But this is one of the biggest proofs that he was not really an academic. After being socialized into two “professions” (nursing and psychology) and all the time hanging around universities, I’m sure there isn’t a university in the US where he wouldn’t have been pressured to write, publish, go to conferences, etc. Hope Inhumancannonball will post this remark everywhere, I am so sick of the “He was a brilliant guy because of Harvard, and Harvard Law Review” as it is clearly out of the same fantasy as his poor childhood. But there aren’t very many people who can speak authoritatively to the law review part.

Comment by steven Mather | 2008-08-03 11:55:38

Given the axiom “publish or perish,” I think the stink that is coming from the Obama campaign tells us the direction he has followed.

The Obama campaign is not committing suicide, because they have already committed suicide. The brain is dead, but the heart has not stopped pumping, as of yet. Hopefully, his campaign’s doctors will avoid using a Hillary VP shock as the electrical impulse that will bring his candidacy back to life.

Comment by bemused | 2008-08-03 12:39:18

I’ve heard (from another nurse with ICU experience)of families that could not take their brain-dead child off life support until maggots were present…attachment is unreasonable.

Does this man care about anything but black concerns? Look for him, if we are unfortunate enough to have him as President, to short change domestic policy and pour mega-funds into anything Third World, Africa, the Middle East, etc. I believe that’s his real agenda….oh, and reparations, too. I know he’s said that it should be in the form of better education, level playing field, etc., but how many times has this man said one thing and then changed it when convenient?

Uppity, can you add to your list proof that he’s passed the Bar for any State in the US?

Oooooooooo Grail. Good point. It’s my guess though that the list I used was made up by somebody who probably checked and found he did pass it, so it didn’t make the list. But then again, with this turkey who knows?

All I know is, when Obama tried to knock the McCain out, McCain called a press conference and put his birth certificate on the table for everybody to see.

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 09:57:37

Funny you should mention that. Remember when JFK Jr. failed the NY Bar exam (if memory serves, he took it 3 times). That made the MSM headlines, so why shouldn’t Obama have to prove he passed it? (Of course, the NY Bar is considered one of the toughest in the nation, so I highly doubt he ever even attempted it here. Anyone know if Illinois’ exam is particularly difficult? Or did he take it in HI?

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-08-03 10:10:39

NY Bar is notoriously difficult…Texas is hard too because it mixes Republic statutes ( Like Homestead Law ) with the federal….lol

Obama has never been on an achievement track. He was spotted by a talent search. He has been groomed. Pre-Harvard, at Columbia, one of his international professors was Zalmay Khalilzad. Obama went to work at Business International working on their Foreign Finance Operations publication. His atypical white granny was a mortgage banker. His father - the one who raised him - was an oil exec liason with the Indonesian pro-development government. Even his leftist mom has some interesting background in micro-finance in Indonesia and Pakistan. Obama is accustomed now to being promoted for no tangible achievement beyond being part of an international finance elite.

Hillary Clinton not interested in being nominated `President’ at Democrats convention

~snip~

New York, Aug.1 : New York’s junior Senator Hillary Clinton has decided against being nominated for President at the Democrats’ Denver convention, but many of her more die-hard partisans say that they may vote for her anyway.

A source close to Clinton confirmed she won’t file a formal request to the convention asking to be nominated along with Barack Obama, who eked out the victory in their fierce primary slugfest.

“She is not going to submit the signed request. People are still circulating petitions on her behalf, but this is a done deal,” the New York Daily News quoted the insider, as saying.

Party rules stipulate that Clinton must ask in writing to be nominated herself and also submit a petition signed by 300 to 600 delegates. Without her signed request, petitions of support are meaningless.

Her nomination would be window dressing because Obama’s nomination is assured. But many of Clinton’s most ardent boosters believe it’s symbolically important to certify her glass ceiling-shattering candidacy with a formal nomination.

Nevertheless, delegates can vote for whomever they want during the roll call of the states.

Personally and through surrogates, Clinton has counselled her 1,886 delegates to vote for Obama. A source familiar with discussions inside the Clinton camp told The News she may release those delegates when she speaks to the convention on August 26.

After misinforming his readers days after day and squealing in horror, horror!!!, that McCain would STOOP SO LOW as to call Obama a….CELEBRITY!!!..Buzzflash is reduced to constantly begging what’s left of their readership to send money to keep them afloat.

There is only one other candidate who refused to release his full medical records and he was skewered for it at just the right time. His name was Mike Dukakis.

He provided a letter from his doctor only. Just like Barack Obama. History is lost on these jerks.

Good diary, UppityWoman, as usual. Thank you.

It’s hard to fathom the corruption and dirty politics that have led us to this point and this “presumptive nominee.”

Due to all of it, I will not–will not–cast a vote for this candidate in November.

Still, I remain reality-based–unlike cheeto-head bot pods who believe their messiah is like, so pure and all–so I post this with the intent to remain clear-headed about what could happen in this election.

He won’t get my vote, but historical political models say Obama will win:

I want to know about his medical records. The blue lips and gums are too strange, yet it is probably benign. This condition is called methemoglominemia. There are families where it is common, he could be related:
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kyperry3/Blue_Fugates_Troublesome_Creek.html
Note how they mention emotional stress bringing out the blue lips.
If not hereditary, it can be acquired, especially after exposure to drugs of the “caine” family, eg. benzocaine. Or cocaine?

You or I wouldn’t be able to enroll our kids in summer camp or youth sports with a note like that; yet NObama can be president. WTH. Was the note scribbled on a prescription slip? Maybe on one of those note pads the drug companies give out-
“Ask your doctor if Viagra is right for you”

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 09:32:19

Interesting story, but i found this to be more interesting:

Acquired methemoglobinemia is caused by an external source, usually a drug or medication. Some of these medications include benzocaine, lidocaine and prilocaine. These medications can inhibit the body’s systems of reducing methemoglobin to hemoglobin resulting in methemoglobinemia.

With a methemoglobin level of 3-15% skin can turn to a pale gray or blue (cyanosis). With levels above 25% the following symptoms may be present:

* Cyanosis unaffected by oxygen administration

* Blood that is dark or chocolate in color that will not change to red in the presence of oxygen

* Headache

* Weakness

* Confusion

* Chest pain

When methemoglobin levels are above 70% death may result if not treated immediately.

http://www.healthatoz.com/healthatoz/Atoz/common/standard/transform.jsp?requestURI=/healthatoz/Atoz/ency/methemoglobinemia.jsp

This might tend to support the theory that the cocaine usage has not stopped.

Just last week, there was a Body Language Expert(on O’Reilly’s show talking about Casey Anthony) who had mentioned that when someone touches their face or rubs their nose it means that the person isn’t telling the truth or is holding something back…something to do with blood vessels expanding in the face causing the person to unconciously touch or rub their face.

Perhaps lying lips turn purple due to expanded blood vessels.

Yes. :) that is the first hit on the Google, but it’s the same all over. It is barely normal, and not normal at all (in the sense of most people being that way)when it happens all the time. Don’t forget though, he’s chewing a lot of Nicorette or similar and that will also give a local vasoconstrictive effect in his oral area. Which would reduce oxygenation. I also think a sickle cell trait presence could explain some of what we see in him.

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 10:29:27

I think sickle cell is highly unlikely, given his mostly white/semitic genetics. He is only 6% negroid.

Comment by bemused | 2008-08-03 11:15:34

Oh, I agree. I really think drug use is more likely, and I think he may have a learning problem like ADD too. It (SCT) is just in the category of “must be ruled out.”

Comment by Georgia | 2008-08-03 11:36:45

Could this account for his lack of short term memory?

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-08-03 11:56:26

It depends on if he is ADHD ( Hyperactive dominant ) or ADHD/ADD ( not Hyperactive but Hypoactive ). Most folks that are Hyperactive dominant and not diagnosed or treated with meds tend to gravitate to Alchohol…as Stimulants have the reverse effect chemically speaking.
ADD? Hypoactive tend to gravitate to stimulants and Pot.
Short term memory loss s the wrong term to use imho….It is more about a lack of concentration or focus that is hard to control….There is also the impulse problem which means folks with this condition literally have a problem with thnking before they speak.
I have ADHD….my kid has ADD. It’s genetic and treatable and chemical…..I would not be surprised if Obama is ADD/Hypoactive

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 12:00:38

I think that’s a possibility. Combine that with his Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Comment by bemused | 2008-08-03 12:44:44

At his age we also have to consider a possibility that his memory is declining naturally, or perhaps accelerated by stimulant use. Remember, he was growing up in a time when learning problems were hardly recognized and ADD/ADHD/ etc have all been relatively recent ideas subject to a lot of disagreement. He may have gotten dumped on Grandma for being a problem child of undetermined origin (I guess the last part is still a problem, ha).

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-08-03 13:04:32

My twin brother was ADHD back in the days of liquid ritalin…LOL…Obama is of my dazed and confused generation.
It is recent that they have realized that it is most likely genetic.
That females have it too.
And that many who have it in childhood do not outgrow it.

Actually, I never heard that, but I’m willing to entertain a lot of folk ideas like that. Color changes could relate to more (redder) or less (bluer) blood flow, and blood flow is mediated by emotions. Like biting your lips unconsciously because you know you’re lying.

Weren’t his daughters baptized there?

Comment by jmk | 2008-08-03 11:47:50

to working class artist:
Actually TUCC is NOT a non-denom church. It is a member in good standing of the body of the United Church of Christ. i worked with one of their ministers - and you can be sure - TUCC is not a typical UCC.

However TUCC is the largest congregation of UCC in US, so it seems their federation tries to look the other way. Lots of $$ probably pour in. Wright, who is cited in the book “Obama Nation” had been a Moslem. It’s very clear the ‘christianizing” of black theology is a long term strategy for inflitrating the US - “swim with the fishes” etc.

It is also known that young black men are the prime recruitment target of Jihadist Islamics - which, itself, is a political movement in the guise of a religious one. See how it all fits? One great big international spiderweb out to suffocate democracy.

Anyway, re BAPTISM: TUCC as a member of UCC must be beholden to that body’s standards, rituals and requisites regarding baptism. I looked up UCC website-there is huge section on this.

Conclusion:
1. Obama makes no reference to being baptized in all his bs about being a good Christian. He only makes reference to his daughters’ baptisms.
2. This makes pretty clear he was NEVER christened. This would make sense, since TUCC is Christian only as a cover - and so is obama.
3. His Muslim buddies, who endorse him for Pres. accept he does not acknowledge he is one of them- because they believe “lies” are morally acceptable in “war.” This itself is strange because their standards demand jihad (death) on any son of a Muslim man who does not follow their ‘faith.” There is even a youtubevideo speech by HAMAS leader rationalizing obama’s not stating what he is.
4. So it’s ok for him to have his kids christened as “a front” but if he did so that probably would cross the line - so he didn’t.

It would be really funny- the way MSM makes phony demands that he “disavow” this one or that one- if there would be a movement to DEMAND OBAMA BE BAPTIZED to prove his faith. lol

Comment by Tuppence 411 | 2008-08-03 12:21:40

I agree, 1.) He has never said he was baptized. He has said he was a committed Christian and wants everyone to infer he was baptized under the same formula that unites all Christians,no matter denomination or country, that even TUCC must follow. 2.) He tells us he was raised as an atheist. Then he tells us his mother raised him in this all compassing eccumenical spirituality she devised herself. 3.) He tells us his father was an atheist, yet his father’s entire family is Muslim. 4.)He tells us he went to catholic school and public school in Indonesia like we are stupid enough to equate that to a similar experince in the USA. Hello- no seperation of church and state in Indonesia!

He gives vague imagery and wants us to project and infer the details. He does this with every matter of importance. Obots may fall for it, but not me.

Comment by workingclass artist | 2008-08-03 12:52:32

My bad….I thought he said Uncle Jerry baptised him and married Him and Meeeechelle.
When I use the reference of Non-Denominational I mean UCC is a singular denomination unto itself….It is not a Protestant,Catholic,Jewish
church.
Most Protestant sects are denominations that adhere to certain theological principles within that denomination….My understanding is that UCC was founded against this principle of dominion….A kind of anything goes sorta thang

Comment by Tuppence 411 | 2008-08-03 13:53:09

Nope. Trinity is a United Church of Christ, a protestant denomination. Formerly known as Congregationlists. You know all those pictures of scenic, old New England Churches with the steeple on the town green? Those are UCC churches, believe it or not. But I suspect Rev. Wright is a entity unto himself. Totally uncontrolable. Just like how the Cardinal in Chicago can’t control Father Pfleger.

Comment by MEchelle Hates America! | 2008-08-03 15:23:48

Actually it’s tri-denominational. Founded on the Congregationalists, Methodists and Presbyterians.

Not to be confused with the Church of Christ, which is what you may have done.

It was originally largely a German church that now allows WIDE latitude by its Pastors to define the individual Church, which at TUCC is Black Liberation Theology.

TUCC’s rag The Trumpet honored Oblowme at the same time it honored Farrakhan as Man of the Year.

Comment by prostratedragon | 2008-08-04 07:06:31

This is not true. Please consult references. The UCC is a merger of most of the Congregational Churches of America (English-speaking —you know, the Pilgrims, except those that became Unitarian like Adams) with the Evangelical and Reformed Churches of American (mostly from Germany, originally).

The Methodist and Presbyterian churches have long had friendly relationships with the UCC and its elements, but they are not merged at present.

Like many denominations that do not have a strong hierarchy, there is some flexibility as to practices among congregations in the UCC, however the members mostly adhere to the Nicene Creed, precisely because it is so widely used among Christians throughout the world, and practice rites of baptism, confirmation, and Holy Communion.

We’ve come a long way from the Salem witch trials, but some of us still get a bug in our nose about mistatements like this.

Only 22% see ‘Celeb’ ad as racist
Rasmussen Reports:

Sixty-nine percent (69%) of the nation’s voters say they’ve seen news coverage of the McCain campaign commercial that includes images of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton and suggests that Barack Obama is a celebrity just like them. Of those, just 22% say the ad was racist while 63% say it was not.
However, Obama’s comment that his Republican opponent will try to scare people because Obama does not look like all the other presidents on dollar bills was seen as racist by 53%. Thirty-eight percent (38%) disagree.

Now, where is David Plouffe to explain to us once more what a horrible week John McCain had? By the way, Rasmussen’s daily tracking poll this morning has it Obama 47%, McCain 46% — and, most ominously for Team Obama, McCain has a 14-point favorability margin among independents.

UPDATE: Since we’re doing polling, let me point out that recent polls have shown McCain leading in Missouri, a key Midwestern swing state, as well as in Alaska and North Carolina, two red states where Team Obama had suggested their “map-changer” candidate might compete.

Harp McCain is leading by at least 15% in Kentucky. I love the way the media always gives Obama a one percent lead. This is a dead heat according to the media and the truth of the matter is its probably a lot worse for Obama. Giving that speech in Berlin was supposed to be the crowning glory of his campaign. Instead it was a crown of thorns and it could be us undoing.

Good morning, PUMA! This bears repeating:

Other Clinton backers, however, worry that she could be embarrassed by a roll call because many of her delegates already have switched to Obama.

“Hillary Clinton is 100% committed to helping Barack Obama become the next President of the United States and realizes there are passionate feelings that remain among many of her supporters,” said Clinton spokeswoman Kathleen Strand. “No decisions have been made at this time.

She is on video stating that she does want this as it represents the 18 mil who voted for her and is part of the democratic process. Video around can someone post it again.

Uppity Lady: Great! Great! Great! Love it! - - - and with McCain’s videos the ONE must be gagging…he doesn’t like to be laughed at and more - he doesn’t like to be asked questions. Explosiion coming!

Blue lips can also mean heart problems.

Here’s the link for the video AGAIN! Listen, you Nobama supporters: Just because you repeat a lie OVER & OVER DOES NOT make it true. The source here is Hillary- Is that close enough to Hillary for you creeps???

I saw the video and believe her!

I was just posting the garbage from YAHOO in my email!

I am wondering how many OTHER NET providers are in the tank for BHO and what kinds of trouble they will no doubt cause (and are causing) this season!

I never paid attention to it years back because it never seemed so MEAN and NASTY before!!

Comment by roseeriter | 2008-08-03 10:31:36

Poor Brodie YOU don’t get it. Country before Party Loyalty. Most PUMAS will never vote for Obama regardless of what Hillary says. We want her as the candidate and if that doesn’t happen at the convention OBAMA still loses.

He’s ill equiped, not capable and is flawed beyond the pale.

Open your eyes BRODIE. The DNC chose a bad candidate. Period.

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 12:49:03

I think you misunderstood Brodie, who was pointing out to the troll that Hillary has not withdrawn from the race (in her own words) and that the NY Post article was pure crap.

Save the animosity for the trolls; they’re trying to get us to fight with each other.

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 13:32:45

Sorry - meant NY Daily News (wouldn’t want to impugn that other bastion of impartial journalism\major snark!).

Great work uppity. I absolutely love Columbo. We could sure use him right about now to save the day before it’s too late. Ahh,The candidate of the gods don’t you know. Scrubbed past and no paper trail. Why not MSM? Where are you on covering probably the biggest political firestorm of the last 50 years? Wonder if his evil minions are busy creating documents to put an end to the rumors. Will they be fraudulent? How can we really know? Will they produce the pertinent info after his coronation? Yikes I can’t stand it that we are asking the right questions and no one else is. Somebody with some clout needs to put this in front of the public. We deserve answers and right now. This Denver convention will either be the biggest explosion of opposing groups or a sleep walk to an already written end. If the DNC leadership keep telling everyone to fall in line I think I’m going puke. I just hope enough protests and true Americans can get there and make alot of noise. I wish I could join them. And Hillary, as much as I love ya, I will never vote Obama. Please stop asking. You should be as outraged as we are about this whole sham that your party is dropping on us. Sad part is it looks like they will get their way. I hate that.

Comment by Uppity Woman | 2008-08-03 09:56:26

Those whom the gods would destroy must first be made drunk with power.

If he doesn’t go down now, he will go down in November. They can insult us and call Hillary “irrelevant” all they want. They don’t know what the word means because they don’t understand the concept of Timing. In 2012, Hillary will still be one of the most Known elected officials in America and Barack Obama will be a Trivia question. Now THAT’s irrelevant.

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 10:10:50

LOL!

Trivial Pursuit: The Politics Edition?

Unfortunately, Obama will always be in the books as the first “African American” candidate to make a serious bid for POTUS. Unless of course, someone actually bothers to look up his ancestry and document the fact that he’s more Semitic than Negroid (from a anthropological standpoint).

We can only hope that this is done so that a real African American can run for POTUS with dignity some day soon. If not, I fear it may be quite some time before another AA is taken seriously. And that would be tragic.

Hannity’s America tonight is advertising that they will look at the real Obama. An indepth look at what he is all about. I sure hope they do a good job of it. We all should watch and maybe email him these questions that have been compiled for future shows.

Comment by Dawnelle Leona del Puma | 2008-08-03 10:04:35

no offense to Sean (and I appreciate his diligence)

how about we convince ANY OTHER NETWORK

ANY OTHER THAN FOX???

THEN someone other than US will take notice

I hate to break it to those who don’t yet realize

LIBERALS do NOT EVER EVER watch FOX

(and until this year neither did I)

This is exactly how there is such a HUGEEEE disconnect between them and us. PUMAs especially who go EVERY where for news and don’t limit ourselves (any longer)

THANK GOD!! sigh.

Comment by chris | 2008-08-03 11:03:16

But I think Fox news has the highest viewership of all the cable stations. At least someone is saying something to the people via tv. I bet more liberals than you think take a peek from time to time just like we do for CNN and the MSM. Even if 100 people see the truth, then that may be 100 who tell more and they begin to watch and listen etc. etc. Every bit helps. I am just glad the pace of exposure for BoBo is picking up. Keep it going guys!

It’s Sunday morning and Chris Matthews and Eugene Robinson are blathering about the Bradley effect.

John Kerry is on MTP explaining that Bambi has the right judgement to be president, citing Bush’s movement towards Bambi’s position as evidence.

Alegre has an article discussing the reluctance of supers to sign the Clinton nomination petition.

Uppity has laid out the questions that the MSM should be asking, but I have a sinking feeling that they’ll remain unaddressed.

Yes, I know they badgered the Clintons for all sorts of documents, but it’s obvious that they’re going to give Bambi a pass on this like they’ve given him a pass on everything.

This is the same press that gave us the Iraq war and two Bush terms. They were hellbent on icing the Clintons. They are hellbent on shoving Obama down our throats because they like the storyline, have issues with their own racism, and love that puffed up, tigle-in-the-leg feeling that comes from mistaking being played for being progressive.

Larry, you’re a smart guy. If the press won’t vet Obama by insisting that he release his records, can we, the electorate, use the courts in any way? What does it take?

Comment by Dawnelle Leona del Puma | 2008-08-03 10:13:03

What a difference a year makes

I used to look forward to Sun Morning News shows like Face the Nation then on to George Stephanopolus (SP) then I’d finish it up with The McLaughlin Group!

Some times I’d watch MEET THE PRESS if RustALERT had someone interesting to interview.

We’d put up a list of who was on each show the night before on the blog. I really did look forward to it.

NOW, I seek the truth at NO Quarter mostly! And some others on the long list of JUST SAY NO DEAL!

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 10:26:09

Chezmadame, you bring an interesting though to mind: has anyone started an e-mail campaign to the MSM to complain about their lack of actual reporting? I know many of us have done it individually, but have any of the Just Say No Deal sites actually organized an effort?

I would recommend the approach of “Why aren’t you reporting on the facts instead of parroting Talking Points from the campaigns” (plural intended) so we are not written off as “dead-enders”. Raise the spectre of Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, or even Peter Jennings (or fill in your own favorite journalist from days gone by). Tell them you want real news or you’ll turn to the web completely (and yes, I know many of us already have, but that sort of moots the threat).

Upppity, this is a great post (as usual), and generates fine discussion.*

Just one thing we might add to the list of things to subpoena: Barry, your list, and digital copies, of all the songs on his iPod!

*(FYI - Might have read more, commented sooner, but went to church to pray for our deliverance, including deliverance from BO, DNC, and all those who want to kill democracy in the Democratic Party, in the USA. Sorry if folks are offended that I’m one of those who clings to my religion…)

Sometimes your writing is scholarly.
Sometimes your writing is clever.
And sometimes your writing … is … well …ah … very funny!

Thanks for a whole lot Uppity -

Snoop Dog and Ludacris still your favs? So does that mean your daughter has all these songs on her iPod, too?

deal with it, or get new talking points. the faux democrat line is pretty old.

Comment by Grail Guardian | 2008-08-03 13:38:19

Can’t say as I’d be offended being called a Fox Democrat, though. Not a bad moniker. Former CNN Independent would be more accurate, though.

Great article! A few things I found this morning. Here’s an interesting poll on Obama’s reversal to debate.

What do you think of Obama’s decision to back away from McCain’s debate challenge?
Thumbs down 74%
Thumbs up 26%
Total Votes: 42,434

Do presidential debate performances influence the way you vote?
Yes, a little 41%
Yes, a lot 40%
No, not at all 18%
I don’t vote 1%
Total Votes: 38,628

http://news.aol.com/elections/article/obama-retreats-from-debate-challenge/115139

I also saw a poll this morning asking if Obamma’s 5 million ad buy during the Olympics is appropriate, considering he called for a boycott by Bush.
81 % said no.

Then a cute poll. Who would be a better president during an Alien invasion? McCain has 51% of the vote so far. From the Asylum:

With all this talk of 3 a.m. phone calls and the candidate who is best qualified to handle a crisis while in his pajamas, we’ve completely overlooked the most terrifying call a President will ever receive, no matter what the time of day. The one that begins, “The aliens have landed.”

http://tinyurl.com/5r4fx7
This is a very weird site, but take a look at the Great Moments in Political Punditry if you go over there. Just one of the beauties.

“You understand that convoy attacks are down to one percent — that’s the same percentage that’s in America! I think there’s just as many convoy attacks in America as there are in Iraq!” While there is little doubt the situation in Iraq has improved, there is also little doubt there hasn’t been a convoy attack in America since the days of the Oregon Trail.

Comment by Uppity Woman | 2008-08-03 15:04:11

Barack Obama Did NOT join in the call for boycott. He danced around it because he wanted the games for 2016 and didn’t want to make waves. Apparently a few thousand dead bodies is small stuff when you can get the games in Chicago in 2016. I plan to resurrect this story now that he has made a 5 million dollar buy. This further shows us just how morally bankrupt he is.

Hey, does anyone know how long one can be a crack user before a crisis point occurs, viz., a serious medical emergency, or is it possible to go on and on and maintain concealment? Just asking in view of the fatalities in the young we read about, viz. namely those who build a tolerance and then overdose accidentally.

Also, when one needs blood work, must permission be granted to the tester before checking for narcotics?
