Make Your Voice Heard Through the “Virtual Platform Committee Meeting”

Make Your Voice Heard On The Platform Now!
It is critically important that you, as a signatory to the I Own My Vote Pledge and a concerned Hillary supporter, participate in our Virtual Platform Committee Meeting. It will take less than five minutes of your time and could have real impact on the Party for the next four years.
The platform planks you approve will be presented to Senator Clinton, Senator Obama, Howard Dean, other key officials, and the members of the Platform Committee when they meet in Pittsburgh this coming weekend to vote on the platform.
The platform is more than an aspirational document of party’s values. It is binding on the DNC and the next party chair for four years. This means that if the Convention adopts a platform that modifies the rules for how the Party conducts presidential primaries, those rules will have force in the 2012 primary. So add your voice now by clicking here.
Even if we don’t agree 100% on every platform plank, it’s important that we come together to show that we are organized. Any platform plank that does not receive a majority of the votes will not be presented.

Pop! goes the Weasel!
Soon, please, soon.
NOBAMA!
You realize the DNC is now a subsidiary of ObamaInc and the chances of adopting anything is slim to none.
Besides when has the DNC ever listened to the people?
Defeatism will get more defeat.
You realize that the chances of being heard are zero unless you take your frustration public rather than limiting it to blogs where people think the same thing as you?
This is a good, high profile way to do that.

Thanks for the platform link. Done.
In the new Democratic party leadership, women are irrelevant. Anything said about them cannot be insulting or sexist by definition, since we are non-persons.
In Bob Herbert’s world, we can only be sexual symbols. QED
The “Make Your Voice Heard On The Platform Now!” link doesn’t work.
GMTA!
Susan: Thanks for the post. One of your links does not work: So add your voice now by clicking here…that link doesn’t work for me. No biggie, but I thought you might want to know. Or not.
Bob Herbert, Eugene Robinson, and other media apologists for Obama are ENABLERS. They enable the feeding frenzy of racial divisiveness and are never taken to task on TV.
I’m glad John McCain’s campaign stood up against Obama’s subtle racist jab. I would be disappointed in McCain if he didn’t speak up.
Last night, I had the opportunity to watch two Democratic primary debates. In hindsight, I was amazed at how much ganging up they did against Hillary. Why anyone can stomach saying or speaking the names of the other Democratic contenders is astounding.
Forget the racist card as being a factor this year. The misogynistic card was played without a gasp or outrage. When I hear Andrea Mitchell comment in another YouTube video that Hillary supporters are using the “anti-women card” against Obama, I wonder if she actually watched those debates.
John McCain is a complete and well-formed man. Barack Obama is completing himself. As he moves to fit what he perceives to be a right-of-center country, he distances himself from the simple and authentic passion of a young candidate who once pledged “Change We Can Believe In.”
This is the trap Barack Obama has made for himself, the one he cannot escape, the one Hillary Clinton foresaw, the one that may doom him. The Obama campaign knows it too. In fear the dream is being lost drop-by-drop, they are going negative on John McCain.
QUESTION:
Is it okay to participate in this platform even if I did the one last week? Hope so. But being unsure, didn’t spread the word. If someone would clarify, it would be greatly appreciated.

Why is ‘I Own My Vote’ offering the DRAFT as a platform option?
Wasn’t ‘I Own My Vote’ a Hillary support group?
Now if you are a member or a money contributor to ‘I Own My Vote’, you will be supporting the DRAFT if that foolish platform succeeds.
