Comments on: Platform Committee Meeting first post http://www.noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/08/09/platform-committee-meeting-firstpost/ Sun, 08 Nov 2009 07:57:40 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.7.1 hourly 1 By: Ms. Matthews http://www.noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/08/09/platform-committee-meeting-firstpost/#comment-547344 Ms. Matthews Mon, 11 Aug 2008 05:39:10 +0000 http://noquarterusa.net/blog/2008/08/09/platform-committee-meeting-firstpost/#comment-547344 I was honored to hiss, lol and I was not the only one, look I believe in my heart as long as your not standing up throwing bricks, a little hissing does not hurt, yes we are putting our selves out there, and yes we can come off as lose cannons or the crazy, and yes we want to look respectful in the sense we are there with Hillary shirts on and the like, but we have already been labeled as to quote one person "we are not dealing with reality" because we have not fall in line like happy lemmings, I myself am fed up with it all, I have people here who are so mandy pandy and wishy washy, this is whats wrong with are country, people here are afraid of there country or are detached from it all, we got propaganda in the media, and lethargic people who have the attention span of a slugs, unlike other country's where if they where getting served up the garbage we get here they would have been in the streets, now as for someone I care about, an organizer here who I dearly love and have respect for her, some call her mother duck, I always told her I don't like being in front of a camera, I don't mind making a comment in a news paper, camera no way, she went out of her way to try to keep me getting interviewed in the press, also chastised a few others to keep me in line, I was offended for awhile, but over it, and just let it go, there are more important things I need to be doing and I rather put my energies to something more positive, I am a strong women, actually we worked long and hard together, been on the road together, we where planning for some time about Denver, I believe I am on my own there, well not actually we should have a nice little group here going, but it all justifies the means, the DNC knows we are here and not going away, besides what I have seen that the ones with the true grit tends to be the only ones who step up to the plate, and that is the point, if we could get 500 thousand in Denver, I believe they would think allot harder of what they are doing, we only had 2000 in DC, I still have faith, ore work to do, and I serve no more use I believe for the organizer I mention so I probably will not hear from her, no bother more work to do for Hillary and to reform the Democratic Party, as my favorite quote goes no self respecting woman would wish or work for a party that ignores her self...
