I'am don't care how many friends I loose, but I'am gaining real friends... We do need to force these people out of office. We have alot to do within the U.S. Let's not forget 9-11 and the terrorist. I really got scared when I heard Obama say he was muslem .. oh, by accident. I used to live on Long Island and it still hurts just thinking 9-11. I will say one thing in favor of Bush he did not let N.Y. down when he said he would go after them. He has never faultered no matter what Palosi, Kennedy (big mouth Woman... Killer), Kerry, Harry and the rest of them say. That is something they did keep their promise on. I have learned how to spot them. The Obama crowd they don't care about us being safe. And do you really think that Kennedy cares about women. Which Kennedy raped that girl down here in Fl. and ofcourse, got away with it. We need to start discerning the truth. By the way fellow New Yorkers I hated to hear about coney island. Lets start discerning.

Thanks, Kevin!

I read your post and agreed with everything. It's a shame that we're facing the prospect of McCain v Obama. No real choice...but at least....:

"Sen. Hillary Clinton will make, I am sure, a great president" -- Sen. John McCain in 2005 to Tim Russert, Meet the Press, in Baghdad with Hillary.

At least this shows RESPECT FOR HILLARY! By a most unexpected source....McCain!

THANK you for a great insightful post that tells it like it is! the "face scratch" that Obama performed on stage like JayZ rapper infuriated me and millions of other women!

How dare this juvenile prankster show us his spitefulness against the woman who beat him the night before at the pathetic ABC debate, 'flip-off' her this immature way in front of millions.

"Obama Gives Hillary the Finger" is the Youtube mega hit. And this jerk is the misogynist star of it. And he wants to be President? And when in Kenya last year he donated thousands to his islamist Sharia Law cousin Odinga to imprison women and to harbor terorists.

Real Paula Abeles' "Odinga-Obama Kissing Cousins" Only now the press is reporting the Truth about Obama being called "a neophyte Senator with a few days experience meddling in our country's affairs!" BBC. KIkuyu presiden tof Kenya complained about Obama's interefence. Great Judgmnet in Foreign Affairs.

Gimme a break!

I whole-heartedly believe that to write in Hillary's name will be a vote for Obama. The only real vote against Obama and the DNC corrupt policies will be to vote for John McCain; that's why as a Hillary supporter I will be voting for John McCain come November. There's some dirty stuff went on when the DNC constructed campaign policies/voting policies that allowed the selection of an inexperienced, but corrupt power hungry slick talking orator over the more experience candidate with a proven track record. They highly underestimate the intelligence of the American public.

Guess it's time to do another expose of these "preachers"/political activists. If this woman -- and other scheduled speakers -- are scrutinized and exposed before the convention they are sure to garner negative coverage, especially from Fox News. I'm sure the DNC won't like that very much.

I am sorry but Nancy is a bitch...no it is not nice to say, but dame aren't you tried of playing nice and sticking with the rules when she is not playing by the same rules?

Nancy hit Seantor Clinton first. Its time to stop the "oh my whatever shall we do, and do it to her". Winning is hard, sitting around complaining and being safe is easy. Which road are you on ladies. If you want to sit and complain, then please don't get in way...just see us at the finish line.

Nancy is counting on you to not call her a bitch, but this is not about us, its about Senator Clinton her nomination, and taking the WH.

HF,

I disagree, though I understand why both Obama supporters and McCain supporters want people to think they must choose one or the other. If there are only two choices, then each vote has more punch:

If Democrats must choose between Obama or McCain than every vote = 2 points because +1 vote for McCain = -1 for Obama. If Democrats can choose candidates other than the two bad choices, then voting McKinney or Nader, e.g., or not voting = -1 Obama.

Even though voting progressive is not as election-potent as voting McCain, it does have many positive effects:

1) It weakens Obama because he loses support Democrats usually can count on. To argue that voting progressive means an Obama victory you must believe that Gore's loss in 2000 had nothing to do with the Nader factor.

2) It shows the DNC that moving towards the center will cost them the support of progressives. One cannot discern a Republican vote for McCain from a nose-holding progressive vote for McCain.

3) It frees people to vote their conscience. It also allows them to avoid having to bear responsibility for the actions of the person that they were "forced" to vote for. Further, in time it will undermine attempts by two-party advocates to hold people hostage to the two-party system, which means people will be emboldened to live their constitutional freedoms.

Finally, to say people must choose between only two candidates who do not represent their views is no different than what was done in the USSR, where there was usually at least two choices on the ballot.
