Thank you for addressing this. I too have noticed a lot of unpleasant comments directed at people working very hard on behalf of PUMA. I can respect having arguments or disagreeing, but let’s keep the comments, if critical, constructive instead of catty. I think many of the people working on behalf of PUMA are having a really tough time with the impending coronation and it is causing a lot of stress. Let’s channel that into positive action to help preserve democracy and the democratic process.

This blog and others have been a life line during the Primaries and especially since. I can’t thank you all enough for the posts everyone have written.

I have laughed so hard at times when I was so down thanks to everyone here.

I don’t post as much , do more reading but appreciate this blog and everyone’s conversations.

I have seen local PUMA groups where a member was kicked out over petty things. In that case, the PUMA did not retaliate, but was greatly saddened not to be able to contribute to the cause by volunteering.

This seemed like an unnecessary loss to all.

I think when any group feels fearful of outsiders, there is going to be some people who are wrongly called outsiders.

I appreciate your comments Susan, great and lofty goals and no Im not being sarcastic. I havent really seen or read any PUMA’s attacking each other and I read quite a bit, ok Ive been away for about 10 days. Maybe people just get caught up in the fervor of their expression, but I dont think the intention is to attack other Hillary supporters. Ive seen quite a few comments from who I consider to be trolls who call us closet Republicans, or stealth Conservatives, and it does make me wonder if there are Conservatives trying to (quasi)support the PUMA groups, at this point Im not able to tell who is who, guess I was more Conservative than i realized since the thought of radical lefty BO gives me the heeber jeebers. One last pithy comment, are you actually a journalist? I know Im not, Im just a person using the internet to get ideas from others and to spout my opinions, but yes! hold up the ideal of true journalism for NQ blogs. Please! the msm certainly left those ideals in the dust.

Cannon, whatever the merits of his technical arguments, and the “Dr”, are both flinging around charges of racism with wild abandon.

Its pretty sad.

I can imagine someone like techdude wanting to prove his point so badly that he saw letters forming out of dust motes on a page. Self delusion is nothing new.

What is new is this ugly habit of finding racism forming out of dust motes, or peoples’ non racist talk. Its a new form of repellent behavior that you see coming from one place in particular.

I, unlike Cannon, dont make crazy accusations without proof, but then again if the shoe fits…

I haven’t personally noticed this problem and I make the rounds of pro-Hillary sites daily.

It is essential to stay united in out mutual objectives. We may make different choices should Hillary not be put on the ballot as a nominee, but I think that we are all agreed on how important supporting this action is, as well as doing whatever we can to shine a critical light on Obama, in order to expose him.

Divide and conquer is a well-known battle strategy. Please don’t allow this to happen! And thanks for bringing this issue to our attention!

Good practice, but be prepared for Obama trolls — who are better paid than your garden variety troll — to feed each other. A lone troll can even do this under multiple ids.

Suggestion:
One great thing about Larry’s blog are the little [-] and [+] symbols you can use to collapse and expand comments. The moment you see a troll post, click the minus sign to collapse all the chatter under it. Unless you’re on dial-up, this is a real time saver.

I see what you are saying.
Instead of splintering, we are actually “branching out”. The core concept is the same, the support of Hillary Clinton and refusal to “get in line” as ordered by the DNC, thus the “Party Unity, My ASS” part of PUMA. I think the folks who prefer “Political Unity means action” portion are more interested in getting people together for a common purpose, which doesn’t necessarily oppose the other anagram.
We aren’t splintering at all, we are diversifying to cover more ground. At the root of each group is still the feeling of betrayal by the party and the need to speak up and say “I will not be forced to support a candidate that is wrong for the party”.
PUMA is strong and has a diversity of people that are taking different paths, but for the same reason. This core value will hold us together even though our paths may go in various directions, we will come together again in the end with victory for the cause.
Yes, I know that I slaughtered the English language with poor grammar and spelling in this post.

I don’t see her as “walking back”. I see her as stating that since she doesn’t have the final report, she cannot, in good conscience, say that his work is definite or indefinite and wants to ensure that everything on her site is backed up with fact, not opinion.
She said that if she got the final report, she would re-publish the other articles. (you can mark them as published or unpublished without deleting them, so they’re still there, just not available to the public).
I think she is using integrity and honesty by not leaving unanswered questions presented as factual.
I, myself, believe techdude and was able to follow his instructions, but that doesn’t completely verify his statements as I am not an expert.
TD is using her ethics and morals to withold the information until it is absolutely verified. What she is doing is more honorable than any “journalist” you will find in the MSM.
