Hey Barky! I Know What Hillary Is Doing About This. How About You, Huh?

Senator Hillary Clinton recently ripped into George Bush’s Plan to change hospital regulations to define certain types of contraception as “abortion”.

The draft proposal written by the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), which began circulating around Capitol Hill this week, would require hospitals receiving federal funds to hire medical personnel who oppose forms of contraception including birth control pills.

But Democratic critics including Clinton warn that the Bush administration changes would have “damaging” consequences on women’s ability to access birth control.

“The more I learn about these rules by the Bush administration, the more appalled I am and the more determined I am to stop them,” Clinton said.


I would like to know why the presumed presidential candidate has had nothing significant to say about this issue, nor has he actively fought publicly against it. But then again, judging from his behavior during the primaries, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if he thinks it’s just a grand idea to keep women barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen. And since this plan would affect the poorest among us the most, I am sure that Barky Obama cares even less, since his idea of poor is finding it a bit more difficult to pay for those piano lessons and that private school his daughters attend.

The New York senator argued that the proposal would “allow health-care providers to classify many forms of contraception as abortions and therefore refuse to provide contraception to women who need it,” — even when state laws guarantee it.

New York, for example, is one of 14 states with laws guaranteeing women’s access to emergency contraception, but Clinton warned that the new proposal could change that, leaving sexual assault victims helpless.

Barky, I was wondering if a member of YOUR superior family were raped by some piece of crap thug, would you THEN be a bit more indignant? Or would you just circumvent the law just for yourself because you are The One? I recall you saying that you wouldn’t want one of your daughters to be “punished” with a baby. Does that apply to only you, while the rest of us go to hell????

You are breaking knee caps left and right to be the Democratic Presidential Nominee. Do you suppose you could spend less time prancing, preening, vacationing and gavotting all over the world and actually show some real leadership here beyond some non-committed vacuous remarks? Maybe you could ask George Clooney for some advice first, ok?
