Interestingly, DHL is a German company. Wasn’t Obama all pro-Germany on a certain recent visit? You know, we are all one people?

And since when is foreign ownership bad per se? How many of us drive Hondas and Toyotas, for heavens sake (now often made in America). Compare and contrast — American owned companies that outsource.

Interestingly, DHL has a minor joint venture with the United States Postal Service, which allows DHL to deliver small packages to the recipient through the USPS network. In other words, DHL is using American unionized postal workers (who are heavily Democratic) for part of its delivery service.

All in all, this seem like xenophobic advertising, which I thought Obama would be above.

Here’s the thing. PUMA has no idea how large a body it really is. To use an example: I am a registered PUMA, however there are five other people of voting age who are unregistered PUMAS in philosophy and in sentiment about not voting for Obama under any circumstances. They are the silent PUMAS, if you will.

This is what scares the shyt out of the Obama camp and rightfully so. They have no idea what they are really up against. If the polls numbers are any sort of indicator to be trusted, Obama could slide off into oblivion at any turn.

The complaint alleges that a Hillary Clinton delegate to the national convention was replaced with a Barack Obama supporter, in violation of the party’s rules.

The state party removed Todd Hollenbach, a delegate who supports Clinton, and replaced him with Ruth Ann Palumbo, who supports Obama.

The state party made the change because the DNC requires gender equity at the national convention.

The complaint says that the Kentucky Democratic Party broke the rules when it balanced the gender of the delegate count by replacing a male Clinton supporter with a female Obama supporter.

Delegate Todd Hollenbach was replaced by Ruth Ann Palumbo. Hollenbach supports Clinton, while Palumbo is an Obama supporter.

Some protesters arrested at the Democratic National Convention could be jailed in a city- owned warehouse, complete with metal cages and barbed wire. . The newly created lockup, in a warehouse northeast of Denver, contains dozens of metal cages made of chain-link fence material, topped by rolls of barbed wire. A sign on the wall reads “Warning, electric stun devices used in this facility.” In Denver, the police will be there with full riot gear. They will be armed with battons, mace and shields. How is this any different than the banonets used against the Cherokee?
This is how you treat cattle, and how the Cherokee and many other tribes were treated. Like we were animals, unable to feel or care. Now, it seems the attack is on supporters of democracy, and freedom of speech. If this is any indication of an Obama presidency, I fear for this country and this world. I ask all those undecided, to look at the similarities, and ask you “Is Obama the right choice?” Any presidential candidate and any party that would condone this kind of treatment to his fellow Americans is no American at all.

The Case against Obama appears to be growing with each passing day. We all know there were some problems with his FAKE birth certificate that was posted on the web recently. However, I have to admit that at first I was not all that convinced that anything would come of it. But today in the Rocky Mountain News, it verified that Obama is and has been a citizen of Kenya and the United States since 1963.

I have to say at first glance most of us; do not see that it is a problem. But, it is, and the reasons are simpler than just the place of his birth. There are two possibilities, one is that he was born in Kenya and became a citizen of the United States later. This is not a real good thing if, he was born in 1961, and became a citizen of Untied States in 1963.

The obvious reason, if the date is correct of his birth, then he would not have been a Natural Born Citizen, thus making him ineligible for President. The other scenario is that he was born in Hawaii, and became a citizen of Kenya in 1963. However there are also problems with that. See Kenya immigration law below.

For months now, we all have been wondering what happened to our party. The anwser is hiden, lurking in the shawdows. Like the ghosts of our ancestors sweeping throught the night. I have to first say I am a third generation Democrat. Both my father and grandfather were Democrats. My grandmothers could not vote, as they were Cherokee and not allowed to vote.

The sad truth is that what has happened to our party was a calcuated way to mask the truth. This reminds me of the Native & African american dancers who wore the masks to dance. Only this is much more sinister and much more deceptive. This cuts to the very core of the Democratic party itself. Let us begin our journey with Rev. Wright. I am sure you are thinking, thats old news and has nothing to do with what is happening today. But the truth is, is has more to do with today than we all know.

Howard Dean appionted Leah Daughtry to be the Chief of Staff & gave her the job of planning the Democratic Convention, So who is this lady? A quick google search tells alot. She is a minsiter of a small church in New York, a church baised on the very same beliefs as Rev. Wright, that is the black theology.

The woman commissioned by the Democratic Party to direct its presidential nominating convention in two weeks espouses the same black liberation theology pursued by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose church presumptive nominee Barack Obama was forced to leave because of its controversies.

Those included Wright’s condemnation of America and a vicious attack on Hillary Clinton from the pulpit, and WND reported when, finally, the Obama campaign announced the candidate resigned his 20-year membership in the church.

Now a profile in the New York Times reveals Rev. Leah Daughtry, a Pentecostal minister who leads a congregation of 20 in Washington, embraces “black liberation theology” beliefs such as the “debt” the U.S. “owes” all blacks for slavery.

The Times describes the congregation in which Daughtry was raised – the House of the Lord Church in Brooklyn, N.Y., where generations of family members, including her father Herbert Daughtry, have preached for decades: “Below the sanctuary, in the fellowship hall, a banner for slavery reparations proclaimed, ‘They Owe Us.’ Fliers recounted Herbert Daughtry’s arrest, a few weeks earlier, as he led marchers protesting the not-guilty verdict in the police killing of Sean Bell, an unarmed black man. His ministry has always combined consuming spirituality with black liberation theology – the theology Jeremiah Wright invoked this spring to defend his controversial sermons – and zealous political activism. Leah holds these forces within her.”

So it is clear, the person pulling the strings hides behind a mask, one that is clearly meant to pull the woll over our eyes, in such a way that we do not know until its to late. The division in the part did not come about beacuse of PUMA, it came from within the party itself. We must remember that Dean appionted her, so therefore this is a division within the core of the party. We have been accused many times of being Republicans, when the truth is, that Ms. Daughtry holds beliefs that are more closely alined with Republicans than PUMA does.

I am ashamed to admit that this woman, is a pentacostal, I was rasied in this religion, without the hate. No hate or racism exsited within my church. But I do understand the train of thought, and the values. This religion is anti-gay, anti-abortion and holds more in common with George Bush than they do any liberal. There is nothing libral about this belief system. This mask they are hiding is that they, not us PUMA’s are more in line with the far religous right. These are the people controlling the party, and it explains why the DNC appionted Obama. The party we once knew is gone, exsisiting only in our memories.

The best way to fight this kind of infilltraion is to vote, get rid of every member who has anything to do with the DNC or the party itself. From the bottom up, if we are to save the party of FDR. They are Democrats in name only, hiding and accusing us of the very thing they themselves are doing. The Democratic party has become the Black Theology Party. I have to say it is very hard to talk about the Freedman issue in a three minute video. So Now, I will try to go into more details mostly for the benefit of the reader who is not familiar with this issue. For those of you who are, please me forgive my repetitiveness.

First of all let me say I am not a racist. I also think that slavery was wrong, there is no question about it. Many people in this country were treated badly. The sad reality of it was that some of the Cherokee owned slaves, just like there white neighbors.

When the Cherokee were physically removed from their land, in 1838, they took with them their slaves. More than 4,000 Cherokee died on this march from the south to Ok. Once they survivors arrived in their new land, they settled with the slaves. But it would only be a few short years, and the Cherokee freed their slaves, just like the rest of America.

From that time forward, these African Americans would lived among the Cherokee were called freedman. This passed down from generation to generation, and to this day descendants of the freed slaves are still called freedman.

First I would like to explain just how citizenship works. The United States government through its courts has held time and again that Indian tribes have the right to determine their own citizenship. Today Cherokee Nation’s citizenry is bound together by having in common at least one documented Indian ancestor, regardless of what other heritage they may have. Cherokee Nation citizenship is based upon family ties, not color.

By documented, one much provide proof that one of your ancestors names appears on the Dawes Rolls. These rolls were recorded names, of the ones who were removed, and walked the Nunna daul Isunyi (The Trail Where They Cried).

But there were many freedman, because of a loop hole in the law, that were able to register as citizens, even though they did not have one ancestor appear on the rolls. Once the problem was discovered, this issue was corrected and a vote taken. The vote passed by 77% allowing only persons with one ancestor on the roll citizenship. Needless to say, the freedman who had registered as citizens by using the legal loophole, were no longer citizens.

Needless to say, this caused a great division in opinion. But, it is my feeling that the Cherokee are a sovereign nation and have every right to decide who can and cannot be a citizen. This is a issue that the courts must decide, then enter….

The Congressional Black Caucus.

This is an organization representing the African American members of the Congress of the United States. Membership is exclusive to African Americans[1] and its chair in the 110th Congress is Representative Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick of Michigan.

The Caucus describes its goals as “positively influencing the course of events pertinent to African-Americans and others of similar experience and situation,” and “achieving greater equity for persons of African descent in the design and content of domestic and international programs and services.”

Senator Obama and Rep. Watson are members of this organization. Rep. Watson’s bill H.R.2824 key objective is to force the Cherokee Nation into giving citizenship to the freedman whose ancestors did not appear on the Dawes Rolls. If this is not done the bill would stop funding to the Cherokee Nation. This would affect our health care, jobs and general economy. Needless to say, many of the Cherokee are poor. This can only make things worse than they already are.

Senator Obama, has stated he does not support this bill. But because he is a member of The Caucus, and a presidential candidate, he would be a great influence on this issue. It must be pointed out that Obama has almost always sided with the CBC. (Congressional Black Caucus).

But, this time he has he has stayed in away from the issue. Making statements, but nothing more. I am sure the reason for this, is due to the politics of the whole issue. Remaining neutral, is less risky than standing up for what is right.

So, the end result of the Cherokee, is that they are today a very diverse tribe. Because of the law, that any can be Cherokee, if they can trace an ancestor to the Dawes rolls, makes for people of all colors eligible. But, I must say it does exlcude many. Not just freedman, but many Americans whose ancestors “passed” or were marked “colored” on the census reports.

The real number of Americans who may have had a ancestor that was a member of the five tribes, could possibly be many, many more than we will ever know. We must remember, that not all were removed. Many ran away, many lived on private land. Some others “passed”. However, if those descendants cannot trace an ancestor to the Dawes Rolls, they cannot be citizens. This is no different than the freedman, and should be treated as the law of the Cherokee Nation is stated.

The freedom of america is being taken away by the democratic party and Obama.

The Case against Obama appears to be growing with each passing day. We all know there were some problems with his FAKE birth certificate that was posted on the web recently. However, I have to admit that at first I was not all that convinced that anything would come of it. But today in the Rocky Mountain News, it verified that Obama is and has been a citizen of Kenya and the United States since 1963.

I have to say at first glance most of us; do not see that it is a problem. But, it is, and the reasons are simpler than just the place of his birth. There are two possibilities, one is that he was born in Kenya and became a citizen of the United States later. This is not a real good thing if, he was born in 1961, and became a citizen of Untied States in 1963.

The obvious reason, if the date is correct of his birth, then he would not have been a Natural Born Citizen, thus making him ineligible for President. The other scenario is that he was born in Hawaii, and became a citizen of Kenya in 1963. However there are also problems with that. See Kenya immigration law below.

CITIZENSHIP BY REGISTRATION

REGISTRATION OF PERSONS OF AFRICAN DESCENT:

(1) Subject to subsection (2), a person of full age and capacity, on making application to the minister in prescribed manner, may be registered as a citizen of Kenya if he has satisfies the Minister–

(a) that he is of African descent;

(b) that either–

(i) he was born and one of his parents was born, in a country to which this section applies; or

(ii) he has been a resident for a period of not less than ten years in a country to which this section applies and he is not of an independent state on the continent of Africa ;

(c) that he is ordinarily resident in Kenya and has been so resident for a period of five years;

(d) that he has an adequate knowledge of the Swahili or the English language or such as the Minister may prescribe;

(e) that he is good character; and

(f) that he would be a suitable citizen of Kenya.

(2) A person shall not be registered as a citizen of Kenya under this section unless and until he has made a declaration in writing in the prescribed form of his willingness to renounce any other nationality or citizenship he may posses and to take an oath of allegiance in the form specified in the First schedule.

(3) The Minister may , by order in the Gazette, made with the prior approval signified by resolution of the National Assembly, declare any countries to be countries to which this section applies.

(1) The Minister may cause the minor child of any citizen of Kenya upon application made in the prescribed manner by a parent or guardian of the child.

(2) The Minister may, in such a special circumstances as he thinks fit, for any minor to be registered as a citizen of Kenya.

As you can see from the above law, Obama parents would have had to renounce his U.S. citizenship if he was to be a citizen of Kenya. This also makes him ineligible to be president. So, duel citizenship posts a real problem for Obama. I am almost sure the DNC knew this, and have done their very best to cover it up. This explains the appointment, and almost messianic perception they have all tried to show the public. This also explains the problem with the birth certificate, if he was born in Hawaii, then gave up his citizenship; he is not eligible to be president. Or if he was born in Kenya, he is not eligable because he was not born in the U.S.

It clearly is a no win situation, so that is why no real birth certificate has surfaced. Honestly it does not matter; the mere fact alone, of the duel citizenship creates a problem. I ask all of you to research this your self; contact all media outlets and your lawmakers in your district. This entire campaign has been a way to pull the wool over all of our eyes. It’s no different than trading 10 beads for the black hills! We must not let the Obama machine take advantage of all tribes and nations. This is about all of us, all 500 tribes, and all Americans…….

There are words to express all the wrongs that have been done to Native Americans, over the long and sad history, of our people. However, it is not my belief that money will take the place of what we have lost. We have done as much as we can to move on, and build new and dfferent lives. Todays world is not the same as my grandmothers, or her grandmothers. The world today revolves around montary rewards. We get paid for everything, our work, our homes and even our stories. But, what is important to me, is the preservation of our cultures, langauges, and histories. We must learn from the past, let it teach us to be better fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters. That does not mean I believe we should let others take advantage of us.

It would be a dishonor for our past ancestors to take money for thier suffering. We must honor thier memory, by learning from the past. Obama stated that he would support Native Americans, and African Americans should be paid for the wrongs done to them. I cannot speak for African Americans, but this indian wants no part of it. It is no more todays white americans fault what his ancestor did, than it is mine what any raiding party did. The idea that we be paid money, piggy backed by the American Taxpayer is to terrible to imagine.

It would cost billions, and divide this country to the very core. We must as a people move on, learning each day from the ancestors. All the while doing our best, to prevent any future divisions. This idea would only promote Hate, just like Rev. Wright spews from his pulpit. The best thing Obama could do for us, is to sponcer our bills, show up to vote, and make a stand on Native Issues, instead of just “speaking words”.

I cannot speak for the decendants of slaves, but I can speak as a decendant of surviors of the “Trail Of Tears”. And no amount of money will repay my family for that. I want none and expect none. If we are to beleive anything Obama says, I hope this is one promise does not fullfill.

This video was made some time ago; it’s been more than a year since I posted it. I have to say, I am against the War in Iraq, however, we are there, and now the problem is how to get out safely. I support all of our troops, past and present, to this very day.

Senator Obamas clear miss concern for our Service Members has never been clearer than it has these past few weeks. The canceling of visits to wounded soldiers in Europe was totally unacceptable behavior of any U.S. Senator. There have been many reports that he had no interest in our soldiers and veterans. I find this to be true, he has been absent on a bill to aid Native American Veterans. Not to mention the fact, he was more interested in speaking to large crowds in Germany, than talking to the wounded.

There has been a number of excuses form the Obama camp, stating why he canceled the visit. At this point, does it really matter why? The sad truth is, clearly the wounded are not one of his top priorities. So, we have to ask, is this the kind of man we want to defend our country?

I may not agree with everything John McCain has done, but I will not dismiss his service to this country. It is clear that he loves and cares about the wounded, the same cannot be said of Obama.

It is my hope that all Americans look closely at the choice we all have in November. This choice will affect all of us, all tribes and nations. It will also affect all the men ad women, who are fighting for this country around the world. Is it fair for us to choose someone who does not care about them?

A Lousy American

As a voting American, this primary season has been grueling for me and for millions of Americans who think like I do. From the very beginning when I was giving the Senator from Illinois a fair shake by trying to figure out who he is and what he’s about, I couldn’t find a single thing that would make me want to vote for him. I watched in horror as my candidate, Hillary Clinton, was brought down in a fashion that can only be described as orchestrated from within. I vacillated between deep disgust and profound depression on a daily basis.

I know I wasn’t alone then and I’m not alone now. The best Democratic candidate is not, apparently, going to become the Democratic nominee. Okay, that’s the way it is. But I’m not compelled to simply move on and forget what has happened. I can’t, because what has happened is so indefensible and wrong.

The part that I can’t wrap my mind around at this point is how his supporters continue to support him.

“Change” when spoken on his lips was always a load of crap and it was obvious to me all along. That I was right has been proven time and time again by his flip-flops in recent weeks. His reversals have not been small and expected. They corrupt the core message of his entire campaign. What must it be like to still support him when every reason given during the primary for awarding this man with a vote has been betrayed?

They told me he was for change. He is not. They told me they liked him because he wasn’t a typical politician. He has proven that he’s not only typical, he is the worst kind of politician.

I don’t even feel compelled to list once again all of the reasons that he has given us to mistrust him at this point — the facts are in, and he is a scoundrel. A narcissistic, snobbish, spineless, lazy scoundrel. And yet “they” support him.

And then they started saying that experience isn’t necessary for the job of President of the United States. Why do they say this? Because they want to live in a world where you don’t have to earn anything. They are lousy Americans. He is a lousy American. This country exists because of hard work… the kind of hard work that leads any mature adult to strongly value experience. If experience matters when hiring a waiter, it probably also matters when hiring a President. Honestly, the defense of this man’s inadequacies is too absurd for me to stomach. And so I won’t.

Yes, there is something wrong with America these days. It is embodied, heart and soul, in this man’s candidacy and the blind support given to him by the entitled masses who fall in line behind his hollow shell. He will not have my respect until he has earned it, and he will most certainly not get my vote until that happens. I’m not holding my breath.

Nor will I ever shut up about it until he has proven me wrong.

Much like the empty suit Obama is, his chair is empty almost as much as it is filled. It is a fact, that he has missed 45% of the votes, in short time in the Senate. The video has covered the many Native American bills, he has missed. Not to mention the countless others.

Today, his chair was empty once again; here is what he missed just today..

It was called the Advancing America’s Priorities Act.

· The Emmitt Till Unsolved Crimes bill: Would help heal old wounds and solve crimes that have continued to be unsolved and unpunished since the Civil Rights era.

· The Runaway and Homeless Youth bill: Would provide grants for health care, education and workforce programs, and housing programs for runaways and homeless youth.

· The Combating Child Exploitation bill: Would provide grants to train law enforcement to use technology to track individuals who trade child pornography. Establishes an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force within the Office of Justice Programs.

· The ALS Registry bill: Would create a centralized database to help doctors and scientists treat and hopefully find a cure for ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease, which afflicts 5,600 Americans every year.

· The Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Act: Would enhance cooperation in research, rehabilitation and quality of life for people who suffer from paralysis. Not only will this bill accelerate the discovery of better treatments and cures, but help improve the daily lives of the two million Americans who await a cure.

But the good news is, that he did show up to introduce the Global Poverty Act, some time ago. This bill passed and sent 48 Billion dollars overseas. Thanks to two other members of Congress, two billion went to Native Americans. He also found time to speak to thousands overeas in large rallies, while ignoring our brave troops and wounded.

Obama also voted against requiring medical care for aborted fetuses who survive. Some see this as a refusal to help the helpless. He supported allowing retired police officers to carry concealed weapons, but opposed allowing people to use handguns to defend against intruders in their homes. He also opposed letting people use a self-defense argument if charged with violating local handgun bans by using weapons in their homes. Below you will see that Obama favors helping criminals, but does not support our right to protect oursleves.

· Unsuccessfully sponsored measure to expunge some criminal records and create an employment grant program for ex-criminals. (2002)

· Unsuccessfully sponsored limit of one handgun purchase per month. (2000)

· Voted against making gang members eligible for the death penalty if they kill someone to help their gang. (2001)

So, now we must all ask ourselves, after reading what he has and has not done. It seems that Obama only votes on bills that he chooses. The bills he has voted on show a clear indication, that he will support criminals, allow fetus to die, and ban handguns as a means of self defense. Not to mention give our tax dollars overseas while some at home suffer. The civil rights that he talks about so much, meant so little that he did not show up again today to vote on this bill.

It is my belief this shows a lack of caring on the part of the Senator. This appears to be a pattern, happening over and over. His clear lack of caring for our Military, our poor, our native Community and our Constitutional rights; let us see beyond the hype.

So, I must say again, Senator Obama your chair is empty…

Today, I am witnessing the slow death of Freedom Of Speech. This right is being dwindled away, like chips of a stone. My post A Soldiers Letter, from last week has caused many problems for the soldier who wrote the letter. The letter has been recanted, due to pressure from his superior officers, and the Obama camp. It is a sad day in America, when we cannot speak out as citizens. The writer of the letter, stated it was meant, only for his family. I understand that point of view, but what I do not understand is how can we, as Americans, tolerate such suppression.

Native Americans know exactly what it is like, to have no say. We and our ancestors have been there. We have silently watched our heritage and culture slowly destroyed, before our very eyes. Suppression of our culture, language and religion were dwindled away, until many exist no more.

The clear lack of caring from Obama, was never more apparent, than his last trip to Europe. It shows his true self, speaking to large crowds, without the slightest care of any of our service members. This trip was propaganda, in the purest form. Photos were taken, and the suppression of truth ran rapid. I believe the soldiers letter was from the heart, and truthful.

However, it did not show the image Obama wanted us to see. This election is more about images than we notice. The right photos can be remembered long after the words. For Example, I think almost everyone remembers the photo of JFK in the car seconds before he was shot, or Hitler speaking to large crowds. Or the tanks in China, rolling down the streets. But does anymore remember the words, I doubt many do.

The question we must now all ask ourselves, is if Obama does not care enough to visit wounded service members, what makes any of us think we will be important? The answer to me is quite clear, we will not. Not only will Native Americans be at the bottom of his concerns, so will all Americans. Words, are just that, words. Easily forgotten in the moments in time.

Hello everyone,

As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to “The War Zone”. I wanted to share with you what happened.

He got off the plan and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram. As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn’t say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General.

As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball. He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service. So really he was just here to make a showing for the American’s back home that he is their candidate for President.

I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you. I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States. I just don’t understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.

If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what
kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.

This post is in regard to many different issues. Over the past few weeks, things have changed. The change Obama has promised is slowing showing its ugly face accross the blogs. That face is to silence freedom of speech and expression in America. Out blog, reflections-in-tyme was silenced by Obma supporters. We have moved, and this blog is overrun by hurtful racist remarks. I have to moderate evey post, in order to stop the ugly words posted. They have attempted to have our videos removed, shut down our blog.

It appears the 1st amendment only apples if you agree with Obama and his supporters. To engage in a converstaion, is not a optician any longer. To point out things that you believe may be important to your people, is not considered. Honestly, it is a triesless problem. In order to dispute our claims, the Obama campaign and the supporters belief the best offence is to simply shut us up.

They do not care to address our issuses or concerns. These supporters come from all walks of life and some within our own Native Communities. This tells me they do not care about the issues facing the Native Community, they only care to cover up the myth that is Obama.

Native Americans lost everything and became a part of this country. These people are now attempting to take away our constitutional rights, as well. We all know freedowm of press, habis corpis and many other things have died. What more will they take? Or better yet, what more have we to give up?

I speak as a Native American, but also as A American. I only wish to inform voters with the truth, nothing more. As long as we true a blind eye to the issues , then we will continue to be blind. The truth is what is is, and can not be masked in myths any longer. It is my love for the people, that drives me. I am sure many bloggers feel the same way. How long will we let this continue? Or should I say, how long will the haters continue? It is they who harass, and call us names. We speak the truth, and are martyrs for a cause we believe in. So, we die a slow death, and the freedoms that caused the almost destruction of Native Americans are dieing with us….

First I would like to thank wildflowersandi who is a member of our Group Native Americans Against of Obama, for the use of her video. I wanted to feature this video, because I believe it shows the truth about Obama. He is nothing more than a showman.

This video does not address specific Native American Issues, however it does show how he cannot be trusted. Which is the topic I wish to address.

Trust is something the Native American community can relate to. We have been lied to so many times, that we begin to expect it. Now, a promise of hope and change, comes along. This promise turns many heads, and makes some of us believe in something again.

This is true not only of Native Americans, but for any people who are in desperate situations. Many on the reservations have no running water, many Native American children go to bed hungry each night. So, for people looking for hope, Obama is the answer.

But, the problem is, he is not any different than those who have gone before him. He is a politician who brings promises that he has no intention of keeping. We have heard theses promises for so long, it amazes me that anyone could possibly believe them. But the sad truth is, Obama knows our weakness and uses them against us.

This is the reason, he changes positions like the wind blows. Whatever a person wants to hear that is his message. He talks only to accomplish his goal. Sound Familiar? It should to any Native American. How many treaties have we signed, only to be lied to? In the end they got our land, our children, and our very lives.

How much more do we have to give before we see the truth? Think before you vote.

Senate Bill 2 2731, introduced by Sentor Obama recently passed the Senate. Obama & John McCain did not vote on this bill. This bill passed by a majority of 80- 16 margin. Obama drafted the bill, in hopes of sending billions overseas. But it seems he must now share the wealth!

I commend Senator John Thune(R) from the state of South Dakota & Senator Jon Kyl (R) from the state of AZ. If not for them every dime of the billions would be going overseas. However, due to these two mens efferts, and the efferts of many Sentors, the bill has passed with at least part of the billions going to Native Americans.

This bill will cost the tax payers of 800 billion dollars! Before the bill was admended, with a appriation of funds for Native Americans, I opposed this bill. However, it is my feeling that the very least they can do is share some of the wealth with those you need it most.

“It’s an embarrassment that we in the Congress are not able to meet these requirements for our own Native American population and yet we’re willing to spend $50 billion on this foreign aid program,” added Kyl, the second-ranking Republican in the Senate.

Thune said his amendment addresses a wide range of law enforcement and justice issues. Half of the $1 billion will go to the Department of Justice for construction, rehabilitation and placement of detention facilities.

Another 40 percent would go to the Bureau of Indian Affairs to fund law enforcement personnel and tribal courts. The remaining 10 percent of the $1 billion is dedicated to investigations and prosecutions by the FBI and U.S. Attorneys and for other justice efforts.

“Tribal, state, and federal leaders face a host of challenges in Indian Country, and many of them have roots in inadequate funding and infrastructure for law enforcement,” Thune said yesterday.

One “conservative” Republican senator, John Thune of South Dakota, talked about how he managed to obtain $2 billion in the bill for “tribal needs” such as water projects and “public safety” on Indian reservations.

Granted 2 billion is not alot in comparison to the 50 billion, however at least some of the funds will go to Native American Needs. This seems like a small victory in comparison to billions going overseas. But I do commend the Senators efforts, regarding Native American Issues. I am totally opposed to sending any funds overseas, when so many of our own people suffer, so greatly.

I believe this money would be best spent in the United States. However, wthout the efforts of these two men, all the funds would be spent outside our shores. It is a disgrace that Senator Obama, would introduce such a bill. Then not even bother to show up for the vote.

This only furthers my belief, that Obama has no concern for Native Americans. His only concern was to draft the bill, intended for overseas spending. Then, once the bill was amended to alot funds to Americans, he did not show up.

This is a clear indication, where his loyalties lay. Unfortunately it is not with Native Americans or Americans in general

Rule by fear or rule by law?
Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents (citizen and noncitizen alike), and detain people without legal or constitutional recourse in the event of “an emergency influx of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development of new programs.”

Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed locations within the United States. The government has also contracted with several companies to build thousands of railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to transport detainees. According to diplomat and author Peter Dale Scott, the KBR contract is part of a Homeland Security plan titled ENDGAME, which sets as its goal the removal of “all removable aliens” and “potential terrorists.”

Fraud-busters such as Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Los Angeles, have complained about these contracts, saying that more taxpayer dollars should not go to taxpayer-gouging Halliburton. But the real question is: What kind of “new programs” require the construction and refurbishment of detention facilities in nearly every state of the union with the capacity to house perhaps millions of people?Sect. 1042 of the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), “Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies,” gives the executive the power to invoke martial law. For the first time in more than a century, the president is now authorized to use the military in response to “a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack or any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order.”

The Military Commissions Act of 2006, rammed through Congress just before the 2006 midterm elections, allows for the indefinite imprisonment of anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on a list of “terrorist” organizations, or who speaks out against the government’s policies. The law calls for secret trials for citizens and noncitizens alike.

Also in 2007, the White House quietly issued National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), to ensure “continuity of government” in the event of what the document vaguely calls a “catastrophic emergency.” Should the president determine that such an emergency has occurred, he and he alone is empowered to do whatever he deems necessary to ensure “continuity of government.” This could include everything from canceling elections to suspending the Constitution to launching a nuclear attack. Congress has yet to hold a single hearing on NSPD-51.

U.S. Rep. Jane Harman, D-Venice (Los Angeles County) has come up with a new way to expand the domestic “war on terror.” Her Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 (HR1955), which passed the House by the lopsided vote of 404-6, would set up a commission to “examine and report upon the facts and causes” of so-called violent radicalism and extremist ideology, then make legislative recommendations on combatting it.

According to commentary in the Baltimore Sun, Rep. Harman and her colleagues from both sides of the aisle believe the country faces a native brand of terrorism, and needs a commission with sweeping investigative power to combat it.

A clue as to where Harman’s commission might be aiming is the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, a law that labels those who “engage in sit-ins, civil disobedience, trespass, or any other crime in the name of animal rights” as terrorists. Other groups in the crosshairs could be anti-abortion protesters, anti-tax agitators, immigration activists, environmentalists, peace demonstrators, Second Amendment rights supporters … the list goes on and on. According to author Naomi Wolf, the National Counterterrorism Center holds the names of roughly 775,000 “terror suspects” with the number increasing by 20,000 per month.

What could the government be contemplating that leads it to make contingency plans to detain without recourse millions of its own citizens?
The Constitution does not allow the executive to have unchecked power under any circumstances. The people must not allow the president to use the war on terrorism to rule by fear instead of by law.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Republican presidential candidate John McCain’s divorce was amicable enough that he and his ex-wife jointly brought a lawsuit 10 years later to recover damages for lost mementos, but it wasn’t amicable enough to prevent McCain’s mother from suing his ex-wife to get back some personal property.

In Ohio there is a real concern about voter fraud since early voting begins 5 days before voter registration closes. It is possible for someone to sign up to vote through a group like ACORN and cast an absentee ballot right away and it might be counted even if the registered voter turns out not to be legit (like if they registered under a false name). So it’s possible Obama could stuff the ballot box and that bothers me.

Let’s see, some ACORN employees (who got paid by the number of people they signed up) added fake people to the rolls for ACORN (who Obama NEVER used for voter registration drives, in fact Obama has his own people doing voter registration drives). ACORN actually reported the people that falsified the voter registration forms and the problem has proven to be non-systemic. Every group that pays people to collect names for voter registration (and pays by the number collected) have similar problems. Obama’s connection with ACORN and voter registration date back to 1995 when he was a practicing attorney and worked on a case for them alongside the US Department of Justice on a motor-voter issue.

Make all of the spurious allegations you like but none of them are based in fact. If these allegations had any relevance, there would be charges levied on Obama for his involvement. Bottom line, he’s not involved in ACORN and voter registration.

Furthermore, ACORN isn’t involved in voter fraud, it’s voter registration fraud. There’s a huge difference. No one voted illegally. Fake/dead people were added to the rolls so employees could get more money. Illegal, yes, but not voter fraud.
