That thing that took place at Saddleback was 2 interviews to try & hussle up more taxpayer billions for Rick Warren's African ministry & get more tax breaks for people who adopt 3rd world kids. All the rest was a smokescreen. Obama praising GWB sending billions to Africa for AIDS relief & McCain saying everyone in America is rich compared to the rest of the world. Get ready, no matter which of those 2 gets elected you can wave goodbye to billions more leaving the country & millions more uneducated teaming masses moving in to get on the dole. Believe me, it's about a lot more than that. Nobody is suggesting that Obama is the perfect candidate. I happen to think Clinton would have been better, but Clinton isn't what I've got. I think Obama is at least <em>promising</em>, and has the <em>potential</em> to become an effective instrument of positive change, in spite of some apparent flaws. He <em>is</em> young. He <em>does</em> lack experience. But he's got obvious talent. He'll get <em>older</em> and he'll <em>grow</em>. He'll listen to council. I believe he sincerely <em>wants</em> to be good. All of my experience and instinct tells me his heart is in the right place. McCain, though, shows clear signs of being <strong>serious trouble</strong>. Unfortunately, people who aren't sharing my optimism about Obama's potential <em>don't seem to be looking closely at John McCain</em>, and <em>don't seem to want to look</em>. Yes, after what George W. Bush has done, <strong>that truly does scare me</strong>. Four more years on our present course could end in total disaster. Nobody is suggesting that Obama is the perfect candidate. I happen to think Clinton would have been better, but Clinton isn’t what I’ve got. I think Obama is at least promising, and has the potential to become an effective instrument of positive change, in spite of some apparent flaws. He is young. He does lack experience. Remember you can't judge a book by its cover, and in this case Obama's cover is as glamorous as it gets, but what's inside that cover is very telling for those who wish to read carefully.
