CALIFORNIA VOTERS MARCH to COMMEMORATE THE 88th ANNIVERSARY OF WOMEN’S SUFFRAGE AND to CELEBRATE
the CANDIDACY OF SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, 2008 – Political supporters and women’s rights advocates will gather in San Francisco on Tuesday August 26th to commemorate the anniversary of Women’s Voting Rights and celebrate the campaign of Senator Clinton. The March will begin at 5 p.m. in front of the Ferry Building and end with a rally at the UN Plaza.
The San Francisco event is one of several nationwide marches, sponsored by the 18 Million Voices / Rise Hillary Rise grassroots organization, to be held simultaneously with nineteen other cities around the country, and in conjunction with the main march at the Democratic Convention in Denver, Colorado.
The group hopes to unite those who campaigned and voted for Hillary Clinton in the primaries as well as men and women who want to advance women’s equality by building a new movement in support of women’s rights and gender equality.
Clinton ran an historical campaign that marked a milestone for women in politics. On June 7, 2008 Clinton suspended her campaign and remarked,
“In the future, it will be unremarkable for a woman to win primary state victories, unremarkable to have a woman in a close race to be our nominee, unremarkable to think that a woman can be the president of the United States. And that is truly remarkable.”
Mae Rose Tengsico, California State Organizer of the event, said, “We want to mark the 88th anniversary of women receiving the right to vote by honoring the milestone achievement of Hillary Clinton, who has gone further than any woman in campaigning for the Presidency.”
The marchers also want to point out that those who stooped to using sexism during the primary campaign have instigated a stronger and more united effort to end discrimination based on gender.
“We saw a great deal of misogyny directed at Hillary Clinton and her supporters by the media and others,” said Ms. Tengsico. “We want to make a statement that this has united women who want to work for changes in the political process. As Hillary said when she suspended her campaign: ‘There are no acceptable limits, and there are no acceptable prejudices in the 21st century.’”

As I watch the MSM and obots painfully spin what can only be described as one of the most underwhelming Dem VP picks in recent memory, I’ve noticed two trends . The first is that the MSM are focusing on Biden’s foreign policy gravitas, while ignoring his gaffes and frequent presidential failures. The obots, on the other hand, are trying to figure out why Obama picked Biden, ignoring the fact that it was Biden who picked Obama, not the other way around. No one else with serious foreign policy credentials was interested. One nutty chattering head dared to suggest that Biden ‘completed’ Obama, a clear reference to Jerry Maguire.
I’d like to suggest another trope.
Obama/Biden was inevitable, not because Biden ‘completes’ Obama, but because the two men are actually very similar. They are two pathologically slick presidential candidates, drawing inspiration from PT Barnum rather than FDR. Given Obama’s summer of hell, a summer in which practically everything that could go wrong did go wrong, we should have seen this ticket coming.
In a year in which the democratic party is dominated by delusional cultists, drunk on kool-aid, searching desperately for an symbolic, empty-headed messiah, who is better positioned to pair up with a flim-flam artist than a used-car salesman? This is a match made in electoral purgatory. They are perfect for each other. When the Titanic sinks, Biden will go back to playing golf and the talk shows, and Obama will go back to Rev. Wright and the obots.

Let’s make sure that when Obama goes back to Chicago and Biden goes back to playing golf, that Dean, Pelosi, Brazille, Kerry, Reid, Oprah and all the other political and show biz obots go back to their caves.
Vote them out of office and put the rest out of work.
We need to stop watching programs (e.g., Oprah) and networks (e.g., MSNBC) that favor Obama and not purchase anything that Oprah and other Obama show biz obots endorse or sell.
They all need viewers to get advertising. Without viewers, they have no advertising dollars. Without advertising, the networks cannot pay people like Olbermann millions to be a PR person for politicians like Obama.
I agree. I stopped watching those channels and buying anything Oprah endorsed back in Dec. ‘07. Hit ‘em where it hurts. Money and ratings.

One day before the start of the Democratic National Convention, http://www.larrysinclair0926.com and http://www.larryinclairbarackobama.com has been suspended by Startlogic.
Upon contacting of Startlogic they reason’s for the suspension of these web sites sounds insincere. Startlogic claims that the sites have been suspended due to an unforeseen amount of traffice and strain on the server and that startlogic cannot unsuspend the account nor can they allow for me to access any of the files from the sites.
Me personally, I find the statements by Startlogic to be complete BS.
So folks until I can figure out how to set up the site on a VPS private server I guess the Obama/Biden camp have won for the day anyway.
Think how American’s speech will be stifled if Obama/Biden are elected to office in November.
Additionally, after how Obama and his minions are talking about private property ownership (i.e., McCain’s right to own several properties), they will probably legislate the rights of Americans to own more than one piece of property.
I am still in shock over the fact that it appears that Biden’s son was the tool used to get Sinclair arrested right after the NPC earlier this year, to get him charged in Delaware, and to get his SocSec payments cut off (fortunately just temporarily). And now the son is being sent to Iraq, where I am sure some sort of military regs will place him outside the reach of any legal process.
If Sinclair is just making all this up, I really doubt that anyone connected with Obama or Biden would have stuck their necks out like this. If he is not, man, is there ever one giant scandal waiting to blow up. This sort of thing can’t be kept under wraps forever, that’s for sure.
But where is Fitzgerald these days? Is there serious backpressure on these issues coming from the Repubs?
This will set back Yoga centuries.

Exactly, I watched that Fox News show live, these people don’t know what they are talking about. The group they are referring to are mainly green party extremists, anti-war activists, mixed with some anarchists. They are the re-create 68 group, and they are AGAINST Obama, and basically everyone else. I watched their rally and they are pissed about Biden voting for war and being old Washington, and they are PISSED about Obama voting for Bush’s FISA.

As a hatha yoga instructor myself, this seems very “unyoga-like” to me. One of the core principles of yogic sadhana, or spiritual practice, is to cultivate “sat” or truth consciousness. Obama’s lies and fraudulence is “asat” or non-truth. Also, yogis (male yoga practitioners) and yoginis (female yoga practitioners) are to live a life of “ahimsa,” or non-violence. Haven’t seen much of that coming from Obama’s camp.

I’ve called and emailed them. I know this whole thing should be taken in a humorous light, but I thought I should express my thoughts about this questionable “yoga” class.
Life of “non-violence” depends on your discipline and your intended uses for inner illumination. Being that life perspectives are all relative, and even after the annihilation of all opposites to discover your True Will you’ll still have some relative view of your actions as being construed negatively/violently relative to another.
Change, the Universal Constant can be viewed as Infinite Violence with the continuum of collisions from the Quantum to the Universal range, but to profess a life of pacifism one doesn’t have to do so and embrace Yoga and it’s many disciplines.
