Conversation With Cindy Schwartz, Washington State Delegate
By NancyA on August 25, 2008 at 5:36 PM in Barack Obama, Clinton, Delegates, Hillary Clinton, Obama, Obama's Thugs
Last night I received a report from a Texas Delegate who said the “roll call” vote was to be secret and done in their hotel rooms. Today I had the opportunity to speak with Hillary delegate, Cindy Schwartz from Washington State. Here is a brief conversation we held in PUMA headquarters this afternoon.
She discussed the roll call vote and ballots.
NancyA: Last night a Texas Delegate told me the “Roll Call” vote was being held in secret in hotel rooms. What have you been told?
Cindy: We will receive a “ballot” at the Breakfast Meeting Wednesday morning for our roll call vote. And then we will meet with Hillary. I am unsure what will happen in the General Session, whether we will re-vote.
NancyA: Have you found a great deal of pressure to vote for Obama?
Cindy. I have the impression that there is a lot of pressure on Clinton delegates to vote for Obama on the first ballot under the guise of “party unity”.
She said she hasn’t heard of any consequences if she doesn’t vote for Obama on the first ballot. She said she has remained open to her constituents that voted for her. She said her constituents have remonded quite often to stay strong for Hillary. And she spoke passionately about her commitment to vote for Hillary. Cindy feels that it is disrespectful to vote for Obama on the first ballot. There are many other delegates that holds her beliefs. She said there are other delegates who think it is wrong if Hillary Delegates vote for her on the first ballot, not for Obama.
There is still disunity in the party despite the call from the Democratic Party leadership to unify behind Obama.

<emthe call from the Democratic Party leadership to unify behind Obama.
They can stomp their feet and call and demand all they want. They did nothing to deserve a unified party.
They didn’t understand that when you disrespect the first serious woman candidate and bury her in sexist and scandelous comments without calling for a cease fire (Christ, the inhabitants of Georgia got more respect) and demand for respect for the candidacy and the woman, they allowed all women to be insulted. “Get over it” doesn’t begin to do it.
My answer? No sale.
>
When Obama was crying and people said it was put on I really don’t believe it was put on. I really believe that he just always thought, “this is mine. I’m Michelle’s husband, I’m black and this is mine. I just gotta get up and step into the plate!”, and then out of nowhere came “Hey, we’re the PUMAS!”, and he said “OH DAMN! WHERE DID YOU COME FROM!? I’M BLACK! I’M ENTITLED! THERE’S SOME PUMAS STEALIN’ MY SHOW!-WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!”
LOL Father Pfleger’s opposite. Love it.
No Obamaislamists,
I love it!!! ROFLMAO
BO really does feel entitled.
LMAO! Said with an accent no doubt!
Hahahahahaha you rock No Obamislamists!
No Obamislamists –
This needs to be a YouTube commercial IMMEDIATELY!!!
There are 13 states that have mandatory election laws requiring delegates to vote for who they represent. They cannot switch. Pass this along.
I admire you standing up for RESPECT – see IF ALL women will do just that – BE SURE White Women would NOT get the right to VOTE AFTER the Black men!!!
As you see EVEN TODAY – Women are LESS VALUED than the Black men are at least by DNC who knows very well that women will “fall behind” the man NO concerns whatsoever to please or show respect for them!!
STAND TALL – TELL Hillery to STAND TALL is HER TIME by American VOTES and NOT by DNC CALL.
By the way – how many citizenships Barack Hussein Obama has? And WHY?!
He is MORE WHITE than he would EVER be a Black American – He is a decendent of WHITE woman and KENYAN man!
DNC should be dismiss – a NEW and TRUE party organization shall be born to SERVE America and NOT their POCKETS.
Get ready for the $#!t$torm.
Secret ballot?
Vee haff vays of finding out the truth at Camp Obama.
Wow, there are a lot of Obamabots here tonight – the DNC boys must be REALLY worried…
They are scared about losing; and they should be.
Every TRUE American should be WORRIED also … IF ONLY they will search, read and analyze the facts DON’T wait for MSNBC AND CNN to educate you…it helps even reading what this great KENYAN-American writes …after all he reads TELEPROMTERS day-in day-out NEVER getting tired of them!
In fact he got really good at it – should be President IF the Teleprompters are posted at every corner.
From ‘The Audacity Of Hope, “I will stand with them (Muslims) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” – Senator Barack Hussein Obama
That’s an Arab name on three counts!
Of course, if OBAMA counts the ballots, it will be like Stalin sez….
NancyA – do not make things up. Cindy never said anything about division. That last line was yours.
PUMA just wants trouble. Hillary does not.
Don’t know what you’re talking about. Better learn to read.
Go ahead – at least in Democratic states there are good facilities for adult education and literacy classes. Then you may be able to read and you may also be able to explain why Will Bowers claimed PUMA paid off the Hillary for President campaign debt?
If you are truly an intelligent exPUMA….why would a nonPUMA know that answer?
And why don’t you find out and actually ask Will, instead of being a broken record?
Not very good probelm solving skills there genius.
A comment at The Caucus – NYT…..
Why this 20 year Democrat, now Independent is not voting for Obama
1) He pulled the race card against the Clintons
2) his affiliation with the racist pastor Wright, his mentor.
3) His abysmal legislative record (he voted FOR Cheney Energy bill!!!!)
4) he was not elected, he was selected by the DNC elite wth the help of some extremely unethical and outrageously undemocratic caucuses.
4) His numerous policy flip flops
5) His misogynistic attitude. In today’s world, women in third world countries are still murdered by their husbands, brothers fathers and it is sanctioned by sharia law. THAT is a form of evil prejudice that still exists today, not 150 years ago.
6) I watched the speech-Obama flipped off Clinton in front of thousands of cheering fans because she kicked his a** in the last debate. Definitely NOT POTUS material in my book, though he would be perfect for a starring role in American Pie IV.
In short, Obama is not worthy of my vote and that is why he won’t get it. And it has nothing to do with his color, or the fact that I am ‘bitter’, so get over it.
— Leigh
right on; but you forgot he’s an america-hating, islam loving leftist radical.
Yes you are right – and a TRUE American!
Here is something EVERY American should NOT debate if is true or not it is coming from the SHEIK Himself!
From ‘The Audacity Of Hope, “I will stand with them (Muslims) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” – Senator Barack Hussein Obama
you aren’t an “ex-puma” you were never a puma to begin with. You are just another obama plant, here to disrupt conversation and try to sew seeds of dischord.
you are an ass. did you even read the article?
ha ha ha. we are not going away and yes we PUMAs despite HRC’s suggestion we go for Barky, and going to bring Obama down.
Mission accomplished.
Go ahead and cry. might release some of your hostility.
ha ha ha barky is NOT ENTITLED TO THE POTUS, MY VOTE OR ANY RESPECT. YOU CAN’T GET WHAT YOU DON’T GIVE.
You Obama guys are like little kids pick, pick, picking at a loose thread and not realizing the whole thing has come unraveled.
And while you’re busy watching out for something to nitpick Senator Clinton’s supporters about, Obama’s dirty secrets are falling out like a whacked pinata.
HUH?? Better go to a sylvan class and catch up on your reading skill ‘kay?
“Ex Puma”
Are you a volunteer,
or is Team O paying minimum wage to pretend to be something else than you are?
I am someone who donated to Clinton. $2300. How much did you donate?
I want a Democratic President and I am ashamed about how I once associated with PUMA. They worked to undermine Clinton and are working to undermine Obama. Who set them up? None other than a McBush supporter?
Who is paying you? Do you get McCain blog credits? They are not currently legal tender, but the amount then the $ will not be worth much either after 4 more years of Republicans.
Obama and his sychophants branded Bill Clinton as a cross burning, hood wearing KKK member that firebombs black churches for fun. IMO, you can’t just undo that and say “just messing with you. Let’s get unified.”
There are MANY MANY people who will not forget Obama’s behaviour in the primaries.
Ex PUMA is not the same as an ex Clinton supporter. You need to learn to distinguish between the two.
I fully support Hillary Clinton. She will make a great speech explaining why another Republican presidency will be disastrous. PUMA however will not be listening, as they never supported her in the first place.
We are supporters, not mindless zombie followers like you EX. Trolls continue to call us “not real democrats”…..it’s the Obamatots who are not real democrats. Sorry I was a voting and working for the Democrats before you were born.

Hahaha, I’m sure I missed something…
You left–Adopted by his step father and enrolled in an Indonesian School as a Muslim.
PUMA supported Clinton because she is the best candidate. But they also support democratic structures and a fully transparent primary process. What YOU support, apparently, is corruption, disenfranchisement, criminal conspiracy to defraud voters, and election fraud. That is how we ended up with Barack “Barry Soetoro” Obama as the “presumptive nominee.”
I was disenfranchised in 2000. I was outraged by it, when the GOP did it. Now I am outraged by it because the DNC did it.
You’ll apparently acquiesce in any crime so long as you benefit. Shame on you. You–and your illegitimate candidate–have no moral code, no principles, no values. You’re no better than the GOP.
My candidate was Hillary. I campaigned for her. I donated. I knocked on doors and delivered leaflets for her.
Why? I believe she was a good candidate.
So what has PUMA done? They have associated her with division. They lied on tv about her debts being paid off. They helped destroy her. To boost who? McCain.
Obama was not my choice as nominee but will be my choice as President. The Republicans are finished and their shameful front has been exposed. PUMA does not support Clinton, it never has or will.
As for saying I am no better than the GOP – at least I am not voting for them.
Well said, Ex-Puma. Well said.
Did pumas force obama to vote for cheney’s energy bill?
Did pumas force obama to vote FOR the retro-FISA bill?
DId pumas force obama to say “he’s open to offshore drilling”?
DId pumas force obama to dis the only successful 2 term Dem President in 40 years?
Did pumas force obama to cheat at the caucuses?
Hillary won the vote in Texas!! 2 months later, here come the caucus results, and obama ends up with more delegates…BULLSHIT!
Did pumas force obama to use the race card? see: Mediamatters, Bill/Hillary’s comments twisted by media, obama piles on.

You’re a MORON
prove it, dork. I want to see your receipts. You’ve posted that before and you need to put up or shut up.
you got nothing, asshat.
BWAAAAA! BARKY IS GOING TO LOSE IN A LANDSLIDE!
Why do you PUMAs resort to childish insults when you’re asked serious questions?
Asshat ? Laughing !
“I am someone who donated to Clinton. $2300. How much did you donate?”
Who gives a rats ass?
My balls are smaller than the moon, so who cares? What does the amount of money you gave have anything to do with the quality of what you say?
I can to Open Secrets now and find lots of people who gave more than you who could care less if Clinton wins. So what!
But, that being said, you go play kumbayah. I’m not interested in the game. I’m not a PUMA, exPUMA, or whatever and I hope your elevated status as a money giving ExPuma brings you much delight…because on my political radar, who give a rats ass.
Those who still wish to protest this convention have my full understanding and support. To hell with the DNC, Obama, Pelosi, and scabs like you who would rather cover the problem than face it.
The problem isn’t the ardent PUMA types…its the ones who call them names like “loser” and “crybaby” and the like. Arrogance! These folks were part of the process right along side you and others and they feel slighted and those who are respectful will be willing to respect their views and opinions. If not, let your goddamn party burn to the ground as far as I’m concerned. I think that would be a good thing to see the Democrats go belly up because their arrogant leaders know whats best for their 20 year plan of a Democratic Congress and leadership. HOGWASH.
And this whole process has been filled with lies about the process, the rules, and who is calling the shots.
Am I mad? You bet your life on it. Roll Call vote, then no Roll Call vote? who the hell do they think they are messing with? You screw the voters and you lose their votes. Don’t screw the voters then say, ‘well, oh well….just jump on board!’
I agree and there will be no way after what we saw in Denver. Article in California LA Times;la times:
The “unity” convention in Denver is over. But some Hillary Clinton delegates are back home in California stewing over what they describe as pressure from Barack Obama allies to create a false image of overwhelming support for the new Democratic presidential nominee.
The Clinton delegates say that during the four-day conclave, Obama delegates opposed efforts to schedule a full, 50-state roll call vote that would attest to Clinton’s true support. What happened instead was an abbreviated roll call vote, cut off by Clinton herself so that Obama would be nominated by acclamation.
As part of that push, some of the Clinton backers grouse, Obama supporters made plain through pointed remarks that the Clinton delegates needed to switch sides and vote for the eventual nominee.
A fair amount of that happened. The final delegate tally was 3,188.5 for Obama; 1,010.5, Clinton, according to numbers released today by the Democratic National Committee. When the primary season….
…ended in June, the tally was much closer, with Clinton trailing Obama in delegates by less than a 10% margin.
Within the huge California delegation, lots of Clinton delegates got with the program. Although she handily won the state’s primary back in February, the California convention vote — as belatedly recorded — was Obama, 273; Clinton, 166.
Diana Madoshi, a Clinton delegate from Rocklin, Calif., said: “It was sort of phony. We had to show all this unity. Well, if you’re pressing people to get on the same train and they’re not ready, that’s not true unity. The roll call vote should have been genuine. I don’t think it served us by it not being genuine.”
Raymond Penko, a Clinton delegate from San Diego who campaigned door-to-door for her, said it was difficult to get Clinton signs onto the floor of Denver’s Pepsi Center. Some of the New York senator’s supporters wound up using roll-up signs that could be tucked away and smuggled into the arena, he said.
There was even discussion of using body paint to transmit pro-Clinton messages.
Added Penko: “There was pressure all around to conform to what I would call the old boys club. There was pressure to conform to the unity ticket. As soon as Obama delegates heard that one was a Hillary supporter, they would shun you, tell you to get over it, say ‘Stop being a cry baby. What’s your problem? Don’t you want to win in November?’ ”
Both Penko and Los Angeles attorney Gloria Allred (shown above) circulated a petition for a full roll call vote. They couldn’t round up enough signatures.
Allred, a Clinton delegate well-known in Southern California for her public-relations flair, grew frustrated last week with what she saw as efforts to muzzle her and, as The Ticket noted, showed up at a delegation breakfast one morning with a gag made up of restaurant napkins.
She’s still not happy with what transpired at the Democratic gathering.
“This was a scripted convention,” she said earlier this week. “There really was no room for dissent for Hillary supporters. Not even room for discussion.”

The only thing that I am concerned about is health care at this point. McCain has addressed everything else and folks if you vote for Obama, Hillary will not be able to run against him in four years. Think, remember and do not fall in line and reward the DNC for what they did.
Lori M
Yawn. You are an Obambot. Only an Obambot would say “McBush.” It’s a lame theme. If Nader gets on in my state I vote for y
I don’t know what those are, but you sound too familiar with them. Are you playing both sides for money? That would be clever.
$2300 you say? You should have given that money to some people interested in starting some small businesses by registering their business licenses within the state you reside.
Creating jobs impresses me the most.
Give me the money and I’ll buy a Mac Pro with OS X and write some OS X applications where I can hire some folks to then bring the standard of living up for more people.
$2,300 for Clinton and $2,300 for McCain. Stop it with the BS. Ex-puma my ass.
$2300 to Hillary, I will donate to the DNC when Obama is nominated, I will never vote Republican.
I vote for the BEST person running for PRESIDENT. My COUNTRY comes before any one party – that is why I am an Independent. That is why I will vote McCain.
I supported Hillary but she is not my puppeteer. Hillary would be the first in line to say that Americans have the right to free speech and every American should vote their conscience.
Her role in “supporting” Obama is saying that SHE supports Obama (yeah right, sure) she is not ORDERING us to vote Obama – that is NOT her role.
I think Hillary would have been the best candidate – I financially maxed out supporting her and I physically campaigned for her and made phone calls ad nauseum HOWEVER, I AM PROUD TO BE A PUMA – I don’t let ANYONE – EVEN HILLARY – tell me how to vote.
At the moment the DNC has obviously manipulated the primary in favor of Obam. That’s crooked, it isn’t democratic. If Obama gets in, he will be the crooked leader of a crooked party. His policies, as near as anyone can tell, are somewhere right of Bush (at least today). Now, if your idea of the Democratic party that you want in power is a crooked, manipulative right-wing bunch, and you’re ok with a government like that, you have every right to support Obama. It’s the American way, the vote of the majority. Oh, wait. Clinton got the majority…
We can see on the FEC website that you gave $2300 and who it went to. Give us your name and address and just prove it!
Or did you donate your high school lunch money to Obama?
ex puma…
you are a complete dickhead.
obama is a crooked politician dickhead.
you are made for each other.
ps. no one hear buys your crap about being an ex puma.
ExPUMA –
$2300.00, and campaigning door to door and phone calls in every state even with a spinal cord injury.
Do you truly believe the minute the DNC stole the nomination and gave it to Obama that Hillary’s doubts about Obama vanished? I have no doubt whatsoever that she is grateful for everything PUMAs are doing; for they are doing and saying what she cannot at this time – not if she wants to run for Prez. 2012 as a Democrat.
I am sure she is grateful that when you search Hillary Clinton on google you get PUMA hate sites and that PUMA undermined her attempts to clear her debt on tv.
If you are her friends, and from my experiences with you lot, you are not, then I am now glad you are enemies of the DNC.
the only way to cause trouble in a democracy is not to listen to the people. the DNC is not listening, so there will be trouble, it’s not really about what hillary want, it’s about what the people want. You may want to chuck your first amendment rights, but other people do not. YOu let obama get away with this bull$hit debacle of an election and what next? If I wanted to live in country were I was not listened to I would move to Cuba, and that option applies for you as well. if you want a government that doesn’t listen to you don’t inflict it on us. take Obama and ms Clinton too and yourselves to , to an island in the pacific and have your one nation where obama heals your souls. To this day I can not understand why obvious americans are trying to inflict the Jonestown/Waco/Nazi Germany experience on the rest of us, but the foolishness must be stopped, and that’s why you got trouble. Until then Little Hitler and his fans have to listen to other people ‘making trouble” because they like democracy. My mother and father grew up when African americans had no real voice therefor If you think I ama bout to give that voice up, so some of you can have a fake religious movement behind an inexperienced novice then you are sadly mistaken. Cause if to stop you means another 4 years of republican rule, i’ll take it, because freedom trumps party any day of the weak.
Ex-puma,
you were never a PUMA, troll. LOL, nice try.
You never were a PUMA so stop calling yourself an EX.
Your ploy with your name is more of the same troll bs. It does not work.
We have trouble, like it or not. PUMAS are not responsible for the trouble Obama has brought on to the Democratic Party.
Why are you here?
Why aren’t you off celebrating instead of trying to incite?
Scared?
Or PAID?
It makes me sick to think that a delegate that was sent to vote for Clinton would even dare waffle and vote for Obama. This whole process has destroyed any respect I could have had for the Democrats.
In this CNN clip: http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-65630
the delegate arrogantly puts the blame for losses on a supporter of Clinton’s who dare proclaim herself independent. His arrogant attitude shows why Democrats lose and are typically spineless. Instead of realizing this was a potential voter he should be influencing…he counts on his great ol party affiliation to shine and show he’s in the morally superior group.
I don’t know much, but I can spot arrogance 1000 yards away. This guy is typical of Democrats who are more into the party than into the real democracy that they usurp power from. These guys are utter pieces of shit if you ask me. Party hacks like this guy are why Kerry lost, why Gore lost, why Obama may lose.
I AM NOT YOUR ASSUMPTIVE VOTE BECAUSE I WANT BUSH AND CHENEY IN PRISON. YOU will not take my vote for granted.
These delegates who hold their ground, they get it.
It’s sad that so many liberals are just as dogmatic and easily led as Republicans. We know lots of Democrats who have the routine down: listen to NPR, watch PBS, shop at Whole Foods, drive a Prius, watch Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and then don’t think critically or be objective, just do what the liberal gurus dictate. Sad, it’s just sad.
Dude, its because almost 99% of these people are not real democrats. This is the first time they have ever even wanted to vote. These people voting for Obama are a major liablility, cause if we don’t have a rockstar for them in the next election, you won’t be able to motivate them to back the party. This road the DNC has taken is a road to major failure. Next election they better have another Black oratory/preacher cause they are doing nothing but feeding loyal voters to the republicans.
Wow Darryl, I think you may be onto something there. I’ve scratched my head for months wondering why the DNC made this decision. Why they would choose the inferior candidate. And that’s it. They decided to dangle a shiny, new toy in front of the youngins in order to lure them into a party affiliation. Thing is young voters have a short attention span. Plus many of them will be returning to college and quit worrying about the race and start worrying about school. Not to mention that it’s your personal life experiences over a period of years that form your political ideology.
Kudos once again to Senator Clinton for remaining cordial and respectful during this difficult time.
You can turn the sound off and see an idiot bastard. Bullying women comes naturally. Great! As soon as this is over, I can change my affiliation to Indy. Sadly, here in Ohio since voted in the primary as a Democrat, I can’ change until after the General ….
Better to vote as a Dem….when Dem turnout doesn’t match expectations, the crossover is measurable.
It sends a message.
Truth telling,
I agree 100%, especially with this when taliking about an Obama delegate:
That attitude is why many OObama supporters behaved badly in the caucuses, rallies, blogs and now at our convention.
I hope the world gets to see why so many dems are turned off by Obama. He is their leader and through ‘Camp Obama’, his campaign trained his followers to be aggressive bullies.
Camp Obama… where Brown Shirts are created.
I didn’t think it was possible to dislike any politician more than I dislike Bush…but along came Barky. There is no way I can forgive what I saw at our Washington state caucus, no matter what Hillary says. Just can’t do it.
This comment says more about you than any candidate.
Huh? I share JP49’s view.
And what would that be care to enlighten us.
Michelle 0bama said that she would have to “think about” supporting Hillary if she is the nominee.
http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/2/4/124123/6787
That is exactly what I am doing. Just what Michelle Obama said she would do. Exactly what she would do.
Bingo!
As if Michelle Obama would ever vote for a white person to begin with…
Great reply beebop !!!
Thank you, bert. That is my new answer. I am doing exactly what Michelle 0bama would do if Hillary Clinton were the nominee … thinking about it. Chickens …. coming home to roost!
I dunno. It says alot about ME too. I suspect there are about 5 Million of us covered in that comment.
whatcha gonna do when the well runs dry….
5-6 Million Democrats going over to McCain, not voting at all, or voting for an independent candidate…that’s bad news for Barry.
In a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll taken after Obama announced his VP pick, 27 percent of Hillary supporters say they’ll vote for McCain, up from 16 percent in late June.
“The number of Clinton Democrats who say they would vote for McCain has gone up 11 points since June.”
Yet another poll, the USA Today/Gallup, puts the number of Hillary supporters who will vote for McCain, someone other than Obama, or no one at all, at 30 percent.
It can only go up more by November.
Oh, yes, and Oprecious and the dems got served with a nice Happy Convention lawsuit today in Denver!
http://www.obamacrimes.com check it out, man, it’s beautiful!
Blue… your comment says more about your ignorance and arrogance than anything…
Your lack of concern about fraud at the caucuses also tell me about your character and ethics.
OT but I left WA State in 2007 after living there for 8 years. I have to say that I was sorely disappointed when the ballot initiative to name Tim Eyman a horse’s ass was ruled unconstitutional by the WA Supreme Court. It would have been something for which I could have voted.
I agree StrawberrybitesBarky. I can’t stand Bush either, but I would take him for another 4 years before I would let Barcalounger take over.
I just read in the headline news that Hillary said her delegates’ votes were personal. She did not get up and say “I give my delegates to Obama.” I say, Good For Her!
I believe that Hillary’s career is being threatened. It appears that she has given up. But I want to encourage everyone that we must fight for her. We must be her voice. They have silenced her. Its obvious. We must fight for her. And no matter what she says, we will not back down, or be stopped.
If only she could run with McCain, I believe they could not lose. I think they could forge a new coaliton that would morph into a vibrant third party. I can dream anyway.
McCain is too far from us on every issue, from freedom of choice to the environment.
Well obama’s farther than Mccain. Obama in his party, already have controlled the media, and the caucuses and intimidated people into doing what he them to do. This election is not about liberal or conservative views anymore, this election is about our basic right to have a say in our government. Anyone who shuts down blogs and try to intimidate a front running candidate into dropping out even though she is winning, is not even a true American let alone a democrat. People like that do not deserve to even sit in the either house that think like that. I felt that way about bush and his republican croneys with there secret energy meeting and i feel the same way about Barak and friends.
Obama is an abuser.
Obama is full of hot air.
Obama underpays his female staffers — women are paid less then the males.
McCain pays his female staffers fairly.
Wages is a bottom line issue and it goes to the character of the person.
Obama has zero character — he is a proven liar.
Thanks for showing up Obamabots and showing what nitwit a-hole you are!!
Keep working hard for your lazy leader — Obama Soetoro.
Speak for yourself. Leaving newborn infants to die is not my idea of “choice.” 0bama voted for the Cheney energy plan and McCain didn’t. Do some research. Your positions are indefensible. Especially from a woman’s point of view so don’t talk vagina to me. You don’t know jack abou vagina, “pacman.”
but when it comes to America and not takng votes for granted, I will take McCain any day over that dufus Soetoro.

RE: John McCain as a Dem – this is the John McCain I hope shows up at the WH on Jan 20, not the one that has been sucking up the last 5 yrs to GWBush.
You mean sucking up to Bush like the Democrats in congress?
Well, read between the lines about McCain and you may find a moderate. That is why the Repub base is not happy…
Richard, if she can’t stand up to them to do the right thing, they she doesn’t deserve us to fight for her. She is supposed to be our leader! After all the hard work by her supporters to make sure she got placed into nomination and given a roll call vote, she should be strong enough the demand her rights according to the DNC’s own rules.
I’m disappointed and disillusioned.
You didn’t support her in the first place. We can all spot the phonies.
What if Hillary withdraws her name from nomination?
Then she’s probably waiting for 2012.
I would vote for her this year, no doubt about it, and maybe in 2012 depending on who she runs against. There is an almost certainty, but it is also 4 years away.
Howard Dean spews lies at the convention (in today’s NPR interview).
Lie the first: He says the convention delegates are “very representative” of the Democratic party. But recent Pew poll shows that the delegates are far more
male (51% convention, 40-something% voters)
black (25% convention, 15% voters)

Lie the second: He says Barack Obama will be the president of ALL Americans, not just liberal democrats. What, the man who can’t even bring himself to reach out to Clinton supporters? Yeah right.
Lie the third: He says the Dems are running aggressive campaigns in red states. It’s been reported that they’ve reduced/pulled advertising in red states over the past weeks.
Howard Dean, go away!
As one poster called him, Mao Tse Dean. How appropriated, roll out the propaganda.
Heh heh…
He’s such a goddamned martinet, though, he’s probably more like Kim Jung Dean…or, to be accurate, since they do the name ass backwards, it would be Dean Jung Il!
Heather I love your stats but do you have a link for that! So I can relay that news to some who may be interested?
Thanks
Tune in to today’s “News Hour” broadcast. They talked about a Pew poll. They had (Andrew? Matt?) Kohut of the Pew Research Center on the show as well.
How must Obama reach out to Clinton supporters? No one has answered this question yet.
Obama could announce that he realized he’s not qualified and step down. Then I might give him a bit of respect. That’s the only thing he should do.
No one should have to vote for a PUPPET.
Why can’t the delegates tell Dean they will vote at the convention. It is illegal to have secret votes. Those vote documents would miraculously turn into Obama votes. God I now hate hate hate the democratic party.
This is exactly what is happening. Its very apparent. Just when you think they couldn’t loose anymore votes here they go.
It is shocking that the Obama supporters don’t understand the implications to democracy.
I bet if Obama was on the other side. Suddenly they would understand ALL the rulz and traditions of the conventions.
Even the one where Hillary picks the next highest candidate for her running mate.
I am heartened to see that Larry Johnson and SusanUnPC have stated numerous times that they will not support John McCain. They understand that no matter how much they dislike voting for an African American, home is still with the Democrats, not Republicans.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8cNtH1mULo
ha haha ha ha ha
thanks for the laugh of the day harp!!!!!!!!!!!
What? What blog are you reading? 1. They’ve never even mentioned race. 2. They never said they were going to vote Democratic.
Gee, the race card. How freaking creative.
Home is still with the democrats?? You mean your house of cards? It’s too late, 30% of the Dems are already out the door.
Sorry, but my “home” isn’t the crack house that Dean/Pelosi/Reid have turned the Democratic Party into.
oh yea it’s ALL BECAUSE HE’S BLACK
otherwise he’s a really stellar guy
no problems (BS)
brilliant (NOT)
accomplished (NOT)
renown (NOT YET)

all that happy horse shit
yea its just because he’s black

Freedom Fighter – I think you should choose a new handle. I am disheartened to see your dissemination of weasel words. The smug insinuation of racism in your post reveals the mean spirit that lurks within.
With luck the Democratic party may survive this mess – meanwhile there are other options besides D and R in this election.
I thought you were one of the pod people until now. It looks like you might actually be a Republican. Obama supporters can’t be stupid enough to people who switch their support to Obama racists.
That’s funny. You NQ guys watch FOXNews, listen to Hannity and Limbaugh, openly support another Bush term, and you call me a Republican?
I don’t do any of that.
I don’t support Barack Obama.
I’m a registered Democrat. I voted for Jimmy Carter and have never voted for a Republican.
Yet, anyway.
You are either full it it or you can’t read with understanding and commprehension, Freedom Fighter. I don’t recall either Susan or Larry saying thet will not support McCain. They have saud that NQ will make no endorsement. And yesterday or today Larry wrote the following:
“The fact that I believe Barack Obama is completely unqualified and ill-prepared to be President does not necessarily mean I’m automatically voting for McCain. The Republicans called me the other day seeking money. Sorry, not a nickel. Of course, I’m not giving anymore to Dems either. But the Republicans squandered an enormous Bill Clinton surplus and essentially gutted our military and weakened our nation’s security. I don’t forgive that easily.
We will be equally taking on both candidates if Hillary is not nominated (which is highly unlikely at this juncture) here at NoQuarterUSA. If you favor Barack Obama you’re a welcome guest here. We just disagree with you. Similarly, if John McCain floats your boat welcome aboard. I hope we can promote a substantive dialogue based on substance and not invective.”
In other words, they are remaining neutral at this point in time.
hey jerkoff, they never said they disliked voting for an African American. Its just that there are so many more qualified african americans than Barky.
so get your facts straight asshat.
People obviously don’t say that out loud. But the Bradley effect at the voting booth, plus all the racial overtones in ads where Obama is paired with blonde white women is clear to all who are paying attention.
Freedom Fighter? Oh, you’re from the bot unit which sports the lily-white flag with the yellow stripe down the center. That sure is an easy target, in the heat of battle, huh?
Paranoid much? The koolaide has been reported to contain hallucinogens, which has been attributed to delusional paranoia….
That or you belong with the bubble head crowd. Those blond white women were celebrities with no real substance. How do Brittany and Paris improve your life? To claim that is racist makes you and Obama look ridiculously simpleminded and hair trigger sensitive.
Stop calling everyone who opposes Obama a racist. You are showing an incredible level of ignorance.
How about everyone get a bunch of rotten fruits and vegetables and eggs and thrown them at Howard Dean, Pelosi et al as they walk into the convention. Then they would themselves finally smell how bad they have been smelling to us for months now.
No, they stink on their own. we just need to expose their rot.
We should not behave thugletly, as the graduates of Camp Obama do.
This is the story that will make the difference:

If you haven’t read it, please do. If you have, contact the MSM (NPR, CNN, etc – their websites have a “contact us” place) and ask why a lawsuit filed in federal court and Aug. 21 against Obama and the DNC wasn’t answered immediately — unless there’s truth to it — and why they haven’t covered it. It’s been 4 days – plenty of time for campaign to provide documentation refuting the claims — starts to look like they’re true.
This is incredible!
Free Republic? Great. Real true Democratic supporters. Just like Darragh Murphy.
Michelle 0bama said that she would have to “think about” supporting Hillary if she is the nominee.
http://www.talkleft.com/story/2008/2/4/124123/6787
That is exactly what I am doing with Michelles husband. Just what Michelle Obama said she would do with Senator Clinton. Exactly what she would do.
It’s going to take me a lot longer than Michelle since I wasn’t the beneficiary of a legacy entrance to Princeton. Probably take me until at least the first of the year. I’ll get back to you after the first of the year. I promise to fully consider Michelle’s husband. And to vet him just as thoroughly as he did Hillary for the second spot on the ticket
Good one!
In case you haven’t figured it out, the people who hang out here aren’t interested in being true to the Democratic party. Dumbass.
Country before party-ALWAYS!
Darragh may not be a loyal democrat, but she is a real supporter of Democracy, and if you don’t understand the beauty of that…oh well
ah yes, and the lawsuit against barky was filed by a democrat.
ha ha. I can’t wait until it is announced on thursday, at invesco field, that obama is stepping down. He lied about his background, his citizenship status, and his name.
time to cry barky, and time to go back to your thug wife and thug city.
You were never a PUMA, EX. Your troll game does not pass GO here.
Yes, I agree. Why is mainstream media not covering this lawsuit. I email links to Lou Dobbs and Sean Hannity. I would think that at some point The One will have to respond.
Barak Obama bubble bursts
By Tim Blair
DEPENDING on which opinion poll you read, US Presidential candidate Barack Obama is either tied with rival John McCain, leads by a tiny margin, or has been overtaken.
This is confusing to many pundits, who don’t understand why a far-left, first-term Senator with dodgy mates, no policies, a profound humour deficit and a habit of committing astonishing gaffes isn’t in front by 20 points.
After all, Obama isn’t exactly starved of press coverage.

I heard again today on CNN how those pro-choice women are never going to vote for McCain a pro-lifer. They will come on board for Obama. Where else can they go? HAHA everytime I hear that it just makes me want to vote for McCain NOW!
Yes, cszuzeq, I want to vote for McCain now as well. It’s so clearly about choice, who we want to choose to vote for POTUS rather than having the DNC pushing someone down our throats, especially someone like Barry.
This is not a Black and White Thing.
I am with you tek I think it would be a great ticket!
I am not sure that after over 5 decades of voting and never voting for a Republican President I may never go back to the democrats if this is their new format.
Yes, change for me but I will not vote for BO it is not the color of the man it is the lack of moral fiber.
It would be nice to have a third party with standards that I feel are sadly lacking at this point.
Poor Pres JFK would be horrified at the turn of events…
Look I can’t stand Obama, then after he didn’t Pick Hillary, Me and my whole family hates him and we were all democrats. I told them that Obama wouldn’t pick her, they thought I was being crazy. BAAM my family will listen to me from now on.
The fix is in for Obama. The proof of it has been there all along. The date of his speech is set on the anniversary of the MLK I have a dream speech. The set up caucuses. Everything so far has been to favor Obama. I am not entirely sure that Hillary is at all innocent in any of this. It doesn’t make since why she would continue to let them abuse her like this.
Anyway, I never thought that the democratic party was so shamefull, but I guess i was wrong.
If this lates report is accurate then no amount of glossing-over can quell the revulsion from anyone who still believes in democracy. I am sickened by what my party has become. It’s a rancid sore that’s gone cancerous and needs to be cut out and discarded along with all the suppurative leaders.
No kidding! Yesterday, the 3 college kids who rent the house next door had a birthday party for a 17 year old. Cars parked up and down the street, kegs of beer going in and out of the backyard, a rap band playing all afternoon and into the evening with kids screaming and yelling and drunkenly weaving back and forth from their cars to the house. Over the loudspeaker, after a particularly obnoxious rap song, the leader of the band yelled, “Yeah and that’s why we have to go out and vote for Obama!” The whole crowd went wild, hooting and hollering!
These are the adoring masses that are part of Obama voters. I couldn’t take it anymore and called the cops, who shut the party down really quickly once they realized the age of some of the kids there.
Our country is in trouble.
LOL This is something that is generational- adults made this arguement about kids in the 1920s, the 1930s, the 1940s, the 1950s, the 60s, the 70s and so on and so on.
And guess what- America is still standing.
Guess what? The Boomers are still the largest voting block in the country. Those people who voted for JFK and remember him and what he stood for will vote for someone who shares their values. Someone they trust.
They outnumber the youth vote this time around. They do not take kindly to being told they’re old, should sit this election out, are racist, etc. That is why McCain is pulling ahead of Obama in the polls and is going to win on November 4.
Guess what? Our constitutional rights have been weakened…
Will you vote for someone who will win at any costs? Even if winning means violating democratic principles? If so, what is different between the ‘bad’ youth of yesterday and the youth of today are the ones in the past had ethics and morals…
It has been said that the only way to destroy our Democracy in from the inside… is that what you want to inherit? If you do not care about the voting fraud and tactics of team O, then I guess you will inherit what you deserve. I guess you want an Orwellian life…
What ever happened to Obama’s pledge last fall of complete transparency is his call for government now and always?
Well, look at all of us who do see right through him? He knows he’s a blank slate and empty suit and he’s just messin’ with us.
Too bad the bots can’t see the truth their messiah spoke…LOL!
I just want them to leave the Clintons alone. They took the nomination away from her, and still there are blaming Sen. Clinton for what is wrong with DNC.
It is shameful to watch the democratic pundit on CNN trying to be a spoke person for Obama. They try very hard to defend him.
Donna, what is with her.
I know.
A special place in Hell is being reserved for
Jim Clyburn, Jesse Jackson Jr. Ted Kennedy, Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes,
Arrianna Huffington, Kos, and the socialist nuts at The Nation for what they are doing.
Everyone of them is just vile. Ted the murderer, enough said!
This, written by Donna Brazile on Nov. 5, 2004 “WHY AMERICANS HATE DEMOCRATS” How To Tap Into The Obama Factor http://www.slate.com/id/2109328
This may be off topic somewhat but I believe it is really important.
Hillary supporters need to have their talking points ready when they are interviewed by the media. I just watched Chris Matthews interview three Hillary supporters from a Just Say No group in the crowd (surrounded by Obamabots). Matthews asked them the normal question…why not Obama. They started talking about Obama going to a madras in Indonesia which instantly turned Matthews off and he asked for proof. They responded that they had a 17 page report written by a former congessional investigator but would not reveal the source. Of coure this gets into a whole credibility issue. We all know that people like Shuster and Matthews are master manipulators and if you are not prepared they make mince meat out of you. Then the Hillary supporter even went so far as to say, “can’tyou hear, do you need to clean out your ears” when he was pressuring her for the source and she insisted she would email a copy of the report but not reveal it on camera.
The whole segment just went from bad to worse and even though I too am a Hillary supporter and will not vote for Obama, I could see that Matthews pushed the buttons and the credibility went flying out the door.
We need to make an impact and starting off with the citizenship/muslim thing is not a good idea. There is a story behind the whole process which led us all to not jump on Obama’s wagon. It is crucial to get those talking points down…the sexism, the race card, the fraud, redistricting the delegates, MI/FL, May 31st, falling in line, popular vote, the big states, etc. which leads to “who is this guy.” Then you can get into the character issues. Get your ducks in a row with the facts whenever you are in front of the media. Otherwise we are labeled the whiny old racists nags. That is not what we want. We need the credibility to grow our movement. This is not only about Hillary’s treatment, but reforming the election process.
I am in Marketing and I know how these things can go. While it is painful to watch these blowhards on TV, you have to do it in order to get all the information (both sides) to win your argument. What are they thinking, what do I need to counter the attack? It is all part of the preparation so you aren’t talking off the cuff. This movement is new and there will be mistakes but we need to learn from these mistakes really fast in order to stay alive.
I really want to keep this fight going. Thanks.
I would have just said “20 years in a racist, American hating church a President does not make-end of story, no further comment.” If Matthews pressed me I would then say “can’t you hear? do you need to clean out your ears??”
I would encourage you PUMA’s to say stuff like that to the media all the time. Complete with the red-faced rage and inability to speak with proper grammar. Please.
what, and behave like obots?
they are drooling and shouting and attacking people. Yuk.
oh we have another Forrest Gump on here tonight. You must be riding the short yellow bus with the person who doesn’t have a real name. I think the name is uh,uh,ummmmm,uh, uh,
Yeah, saw that. Not a good presentation. But, this is the Democratic convention. You cannot hope to get the chance to really present a case against the nominee who’s about to be crowned, you know?
I say, let them have their day. It really won’t matter to millions of people who won’t vote for Obama anyway.
OK, y’all know that Howie Dean is going to get the candidate of his choice; the one he’s been pandering for since day one of this campaign. One way or another, Obama will garner a majority of the delegate votes, if the Dean thugs have to kick every Hillary delegate out to the street. Remember, it’s the “Chicago” way.
But then what? Do you go to the polls in November and vote for Obama? Do you accept that the party no longer plays by it’s own rules (every vote should count) and the hiarchy does what it wants, and the hell with the “little” guy?
The party is broken. So what is next? How do you take it back. How do you make it the party of FDR, HST and JFK again? Do you suck it up for the next four years and know, in your hearts, that Howard Dean and Barack Obama stole the nomination that should have been Hillary’s?
What’s next? And what’s left for true Democrats?
The truth is that this fracture could have been avoided. Even though I have grave reservations about an Obama candidacy, so much of the anger and resentment could have been avoided by some very simple outreaches: acknowledging and condemning the gross abuse at the caucus level, standing up for the rampant sexism that permeated the primary campaign, giving respect to the historic nature of HRC’s presidential run and respect to the Democratic 2-term President, Bill Clinton.
But like petulant, vindictive children, the Obama supporters took glee in thrusting the sword of superiority [when clearly there was none], to claim racism [where none existed], and having the audacity and arrogance to tell Hillary Clinton supporters that they weren’t needed. Donna Brazile further flamed the fire by suggesting that the historic backbone of the Democratic Party could just stay home if they didn’t like the “New Party,” a party of the educated, urbane and sophisticated. Working class members? Take a hike! And the Rules Committee at the end of May set a match to an already unstable situation when they took delegates from Hillary Clinton that Barack Obama had not earned nor was entitled to.
But that’s water under the bridge, as they say. The damage has been done, the split irrevocable. Obamatrons said they could win it without us.
So be it. Let the games begin!
The party for the children-another hypocrisy of the new Democratic Party- Show our children how to win by lying, cheating, committing Fraud, bully opponents, hurt women etc.,
This is the new american way- very sad watching how to game the system..American Idol Politics. Ugh!
We watched Bush co do this also for 8 years and now the Dems. Our democracy is broken from the inside out.
I can only imagine America after the obotkids who may take over down the road.
McCain and the Republicans have a new second ad featuring Clinton.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9Rf5eN9eYg&eurl=
Looks like they are going to keep the pressure on Obama all week during his
coronation, er. ahh, umm, I mean convention.Note that this NOT a McCain ad. That’s a 527.
Someone needs to tell the RNC that they need to tread lightly. The DNC, Obama, and his supporters are trying to set up the scenerio of Hillary as the cause of Obama losing in Nov. I think I might vote for McCain but if they start putting up too much sh*t like this in which Hillary is the fall guy for Obama’s loss, someone needs to let them know we won’t stand for it. Not only that Hillary and Bill will come after them and that will hurt McCain’s chances.
Whew boy.
The DNC is pressuring delegates to break the law if their state is one of the 13 that require delegates to vote as their constituency voted. Binding states delegates should be warned. We know who you are.
http://alegrescorner.soapblox.net/showDiary.do;jsessionid=68F4A19B93D77C3D625883ACE6C94FF9?diaryId=758
Amen
Let’s get real here. There are around 4,233 delegates to the convention. There are 18 million who voted for Hillary. According to the DNC and Obama supporters that means that an infinitesimal small number of people are going to sell 18 million voters on unity. I do not think so. The DNC not only needs a lecture on democracy they need one on psychology as well.
This African American is damn tired of this bullshit line about people “NOT” voting for Senator Barack Obama because he is black. First of all, lets take a trip down memory lane, follow along if you know a little history.
Senator Obama, despite how people would like to spin it, is of mixed race. Meaning he is half black, and half white. Now I know that those of my race, based on his pigmentation, is running around here like chickens on crack screaming the “First Black” president. But dont get it twisted. Those of us in the “real black” community know the score.
See, we couldnt get a “First Black” president that wasnt biracial, we had to waite until we were “blessed” with your messiah. He is not, nor will he ever be, the “First Black” anything. Take the Barack Obama Nancy Pelosi Howard Dean talking point, and exit to the left of the stage.
Mr “I was conceieved in Selma Alabama in 1965 when I was born in 1961″ aint fooling nobody. That whole “racist” crap played out in the primaries. Those same sorry ass African American elected officials that represent us act as if Mr Born in a Manger Obama is the next coming. I will vote for his ass as soon as he turns some damn water into some damn wine.
I am sick of listening to the Jack old ass Cafferty’s and Keith Olbermans, CNN and everyone else tell me how “historical” this election is for the “black folk”. But I dont hold everyone accountable. I hold those worthless ass sorry good for nothing elected officials like Jesse Jackson damn Jr who ran around saying “who wants to be the person to keep the first black president from the white house”, and thats a direct quote. Who threw his own damn father, a father in which was standing right there beside, right next to, a TRUE civil rights leader, Martin Luther King Jr, when he was shot, to back up the first half black, half white, indonesian kenyan damn first black candidate everyone is dying to give to us.
Get used to the idea of him losing now, because I will go to the damn grave yard myself and register voters before I sit here and watch us go through four years with a president after 19 months we still dont know anything about. I dont care if Senator Clinton get on that damn stage singing Kumbayah My Lord with his original birth certificate, his long lost grandmother, his report card, college transcript and report of where all his real campaign contributions came from. These people dont know jack shit about the black community other than looking at fools passing out at during his speeches/concerts.
You people want him to win you better drag his ass across the finish line and quit waiting on another candidates supporters to do it for you. We have to watch him get on a stage and invoke the essence of a person who fought against every damn thing I saw, and spoke up about during this election. They FOUGHT TO NOT be judged by color, and we get a individual who all you hear from his campaign, supporters and the media, on how your racist if you dont support him.
But you know what? I dont give a shit. I AM BLACK. PROUD. AND SUPPORT SENATOR CLINTON! Dont like it? I dont care.
whoo hoo!! Rock on sister friend!! thank you for that!!
And you all talk about Obama supporters drinking the Kool-Aid?
By the way, you can’t argue responsibility and then make excuses for JJ Senior, he made a stupid mistake an no one, not even his son should have had to defend him.
You being black does not inoculate you from sounding like the raving racist, and you do.
uh oh, nothing intelligent to say so you had to pull out the R word.
So, trolling…or paid?
Or just frightened and angry, and spoiling for a fight?
Hmmmmmmmmm?
Soldier: you go girl.
I say again I would trust you with my life.
I agree!
Nobama, No Deal!
Jack Cafferty and Keith Olbermann need to be
locked in a rubber room in Berkley.
I’m enjoying my last few days as a Democrat. It’s been 25-odd years, but soon I’ll be an ex-dem — as soon as they coronate their clown Soetoro, I’m registering independent. But I’ve come to realize that I’ve been a PUMA all along.
Please vote for Obama as a democrat and then change your affiliation. That is a strong statement!
O Lordy, typing too fast. So sorry. Should say vote for McCain and then change.
OMG! Let the lawsuit destroy Obama!
It is pathetic how the media is trying to blame Sen. Clinton for Obama’s upcoming defeat. She is not responsible for the worst candidate since McGovern. Sen. Obama is too inexperienced, insincere, and inadequate for the Presidency. It does not take a genius to see through his lies. He lied about Fisa, public financing, his upbringing and his religion. Hillary is our only hope.
Cripes, I don’t know why Obama even needs any help. He’s got plenty of thugs and punks helping him threaten and intimidate people. People think’s he’s cool and hip, what is the problem? They said they didn’t need us. The problem is they need Hillary to convince us to vote for Obama and it isn’t working. Sucks to be you.
Emile Jones calls another black delegate an “Uncle Tom.” Nice racism, Emile. That’s Obama’s style isn’t it? Anyone who doesn’t bow to his greatness is just a racist–even if you’re black. What a shameful thing the Democratic Party has brought out in America, thanks to Barry Soetoro.
Remember. G.W.Bush said he was a “uniter, not a divider,” too. And, look what he did. Barack “Barry Soetoro” Obama is no different. He’s a racist pretending to be post-racial.
http://hillbuzz.wordpress.com/
Yeah, he’s a uniter all right. He united the political center and right single-handedly.
Well, at least they’re “refining” their insults. I was absolutely appalled when I read that black constituents were being called “racists” simply because they did not support Barack Obama’s candidancy? Now they’re called “Uncle Toms?” How quaint!
So I guess I’m a rabid sexist if I support a man over a woman?
What lunacy is this???
For all the “post-racial” promises, this whole election cycle has thrust a stake in the heart of racial understanding and the idea of reaching across our painful, historical gulfs.
And that is downright tragic for everyone.
Correct me if I’m wrong. But this doesn’t sound like what Martin Luther King had in mind.
Makes me want to weep.
Jones is the Boss of the State Senate in Illinois, he BAMBOOZELED and HOODWINKED other DEM State Senators and gave Obama crdit for their work to improve the thin list of accomplishments of Obama. Hw must think he has a Federal Position coming for putting Obama in that Senate race.
I never understood all the “her voters” I hear Clinton’s voters as if Obama didn’t have voters *and* win the delegates necessary. I mean come on, the delegate system wasn’t new, heck Bill won under the same system twice.
I’m sorry, it just sounds like a bunch of sore losers. It’s typical, loose and complain about the Ref’s. Hillary is not the Candidate because she miscalculated the War vote and because they ran a crappy campaign, no one not even Hillary’s people deny that fact.
The truth is that the race was over after March 19th (Wisconsin) and through all the final delegate gap never changed after that point. You all were sold a bill of goods, it was never in doubt after March.
roflmao. where have you been?
Training camp.
you apparently need to look up the word “truth” in the dictionary because you have no idea what it means based on what you said. Either that or you have been at Obama’s Pod Training Camp.
Bullshit.
If it’s such a done deal, and we are such a bunch of “loosers” (learn to spell, twit), one question remains:
WHY are YOU HERE?????
Troll?
Paid?
Or ‘fraid???
UNITY???
not for me
Not with that inexperienced blowhard.
I hear tonight that fraud will babble about his “life story”
Really?
The real one or the cobbled together mythomanial BS one?
This ex Dem’s voting for McCain
Unity? I will be happy to “unify” behind a competent, honorable Democratic candidate. Too bad that Obama/Soetoro fails on both counts.
Pardon me. That should have read “Obama/Soetoro fails on all three counts.”
Look for us on your evening news, Conflucians. We got ourselves a posse and went down to Union Station in front of the MSNBC kiosk. We protested and shouted slogans (in NPR-speak) and completely drowned out the Obamaphiles.
We had a lot of support from passersby. I was very encouraged that there were many sympathetic people. I don’t think the Obama people knew what hit them. They’ve had such a free ride for so long. No one challenged them. no one was skeptical. They have been handled with kid gloves like pampered little brats. But in the face of all of the people they’ve been calling stupid, old women, they seemed oddly subdued.
Chris Matthews made an appearance and stood there silently while some of us finally got a chance to tell him how we felt to his face. The coward waited until we left before he came down from the stage to talk to the crowd.
We stayed for about 45 minutes and then marched away up 16th street, the media in hot pursuit. They followed us to the Starbucks and hung around to interview. There were dozens of photographers getting shots of beautiful Murphy with her strawberry blonde hair striding up the hill, eyes fixed in front of her. She leaned over to me with a sly smile on her face and whispered, “I’m so damn glad we came to Denver.”
http://riverdaughter.wordpress.com/
good for you all and thank you!!
Oh yeah, very impressive, there are literally tens of you folks running around! It’s the DNC RBC all over again. When it counts, most of the folks on your side would rather stay home, sulk and eat another big plate of sour grapes.
You’re not very familiar with the Working Class, are you?
That’s OK. Neither is Obambi.
I haven’t read through the comments yet, but I strongly disagree with this. Delegates voting to represent their constituents is NOT disunity. Being expected to do otherwise IS disunity. This is the basis of the democratic process. How has the Obama team and the DNC so managed to warp this voting process? The democratic party has truly lost sight of it’s meaning and it’s goals.
This is a big problem.
If this is “Unity”, I want none of it!
Soviet-style “unity”. Forced secret voting that is supposed to be PUBLIC.
First Obama steals private caucus votes, and now he want to muzzle the PUBLIC votes? These people will stop at NOTHING!
I’ve been a moderate liberal Dem my entire life, but when I see the RECREATE68 morons, it’s time to leave.
The Democratic Party has left me.
I will do my best to talk as many people out of voting for Obama as I can possibly influence.
One gets the feeling that “they” think that if they can get delegates to cave and vote Obama, that we will sheeplike follow and do the same. Wait and see.
that’s exactly what they think. they’ve been saying it to everyone.
What really bothers me is that there are 15 THOUSAND press people at this thing. Just think about that. This is imperial pageantry. It’s pathetic, and shows how far down the ladder we’ve climbed.
Obama is a symbol for what? Change? Just THINK about the simple-minded appeal of that plea.
Just THINK about how intellectually weak someone would have to be to suck that up, and not question what was behind it.
It’s pathetic.
Is this the beginning of the end?
One could argue it is looking that way.
Oregon popular ex-Gov. Vic Atiyeh
said. “We we will deliver Oregon for John McCain in November.”
I am so glad for delegates like Cindy who are standing strong with the voice of their constituents and remaining true to Hillary. It is OUR voice the delegates represent…and much as I respect Hillary, I feel EVEN more strongly that the VOICE of the delegates FOR HER needs to be heard with EVERY delegate Hillary won in the primaries…and HOPEFULLY many of the brave superdelegates who are willing to stand for what is best for the COUNTRY rather than what the misguided Democratic headpins want.
Obama seems to be listing all of the people and reasons for him losing. He seems to think that people OWE him respect instead of EARNING it. This is what is commenly called “high maintenance”. They look for ways to lose. The only way these people can advance is by threats and intimidation. There are people that aren’t happy unless everyone else is miserable. That’s Obama and it’s why he will lose.
If I were a super-delegate supporting Hillary, the death of Stephanie Tubbs Jones would make it harder for me to hold out, but I would do it; her death was a real game-changer…
Stop with the offensive insinuation that having a blond person visible with BO/BS is a sexual innuendo. This is the stupidest troll point yet. Do you think as president he will be kept insulated from blonds to keep the country from breaking down into orgies?
I was responding to Freedom Fighter and got off that thread, sorry.
I just got through reading many of the comments here and I can’t tell you how sick I am. I’m so sick of this being about the woman or the black man…racist or gender biased.
I’ve not seen so much fear (from the Obama crowd) and so much anger (from the Clinton crowd) since this all began.
We all need to get over it, or both sets of us will lose in the end. It’s not about race or gender or which one of us has suffered more prejudice. For heaven’s sake we both have…and extremely. We should all feel proud we’ve gotten this far…and not let this work against us in the end.
First, pick your principles, then pick your candidate. Decide for yourselves whether that candidate is truly qualified for the office of the POTUS. I personally don’t think our presumptive candidate is qualified, but I’m going to quit desparaging those that think he his. None of us will be winners in the end if we continue like this.
If you don’t think he’s qualified, don’t vote for him. It’s as simple as that. Don’t let it get the better of you, vote your heart after doing your due diligence.
Move forward. This DNC is not about democratic principles. It doesn’t let the people’s vote count. How ironic after the past couple of election’s debacles. Maybe they learned some bad lessons and their knee-jerk reaction is that of an un-disciplined teenager. But it all comes down to this…the voters are what counts. It doesn’t always work out the way we want, but we (the voters) have ultimate control until we give that control away.
My hat is off to those that could make their voices be heard in Denver…I wish I could have joined you.
did anyyone here sheppard on fox news sayy OBIDEN yesterday? guess hes been surfing in here lol
All of you are ignoring the political structures we have historically adopted- checks and balances, balance of power,
divided government. If John McCain were to become President
he would, presumably, face a Democratic congress that would be or would be close to being veto and filibuster proof. With that possible REAL historical situation the demonized McCain
disappears- poof! gone! because he will NEVER in the real world have the power attributed to him by the Obamabots to frighten anyone who is assinine enough to forget or ignorant enough to not even know about this basic reality in which our politics is conducted.
I am then requesting that my fellow NQ’ers start using this real situation in this little war we’er having. It has the added advantage of being able to show Barky with the truly scary and real enormous power he would have should he be elected. Anyway, if you use the real historical context you won’t be wasting your time and spinning your wheels over something Imaginary that will never be.

The Obamafreaks insist that “McCain will CHANGE the law,”…when CONGRESS, not the President, makes law.
The Obamafreaks insist that “McCain will nominate far right cretins” …..ignoring the simple fact that the SENATE–not the President–APPROVES Presidential nominations. If the Senate doesn’t like McCain’s picks, they can just throw them back.
A Democratic Congress is a CHECK/BALANCE to a GOP President….and a rubber stamp to a Democratic one.
Look at all the shit Bush got into with a GOP Congress? Sometimes, tension is a GOOD THING.
I rest my case.
Please stay true, Hillary. Let the delegates votes so the superdelegates will have the opportunity to change their votes! You are our only hope.
Here are are choices for president
Elmer Gantry or
Elmer Fudd.
Either way we are going to get an Elmer.
I haven’t decided who I am going to vote for.
The dems have continuously nominated weak candidates because of a flawed system. Now we have have another weak candidate and I am tired of it. Then the DNC had to game the system to make sure the weaker candidate got the nomination. There is nothing of substance to Barack Obama or any accomplishment to merit such praise from people. He is a blessing from God and all such other nonsense.
