I have a masters in international relations. I remember what the 1980’s were like and I remember how good things were in the 90’s. Roseeriter I agree – my sister-in-law and many who was at a caucus in TX filed a complaint. They were pushed around, called names etc. and many went home. She called me in tears. She was really sick with cancer but believed in Hillary so much that she was there to cast her vote. The stories I heard were unbelievable.

It would be stunning if he did not get a Convention bump, especially after Hillary’s fantastic speech.
However, those of us who have been through previous elections remember quite well that bumps happen in the polls after Conventions, and usually go away shortly thereafter. Since McCain’s Convention will come next, he’ll have the advantage of getting a big bump closer to the election.
In other words, this little bump is meaningless. What will matter is the first week in November, AFTER his O-ness has been finally vetted by the media and the electoral map looks like the one at AOL’s straw poll has looked all summer. All red.
