I have heard two different versions of her abortion stand so let’s hear the details first. Frankly, I can live with any position on abortion. Of course, I’d love to see the day when abortion is no longer relevant…personal responsibility, etc. I heard she is fine with abortion in case of rape or incest but I’m not sure if that’s true.

I called the Monterey Republican Party as soon as I heard the details of McCain’s choice. Was planning to vote for him anyway but now I’ll show up to help. They open a new office in Seaside on Wednesday with a party…sounds like fun. Now I’ll volunteer and donate $$. The woman on the phone said the calls have been coming in fast and furiously. She used to be a Democrat too and said she’s been getting as many Dems calling as anyone else. GO MAC! GO SARAH!

Knowing only what I have read in blogs, Palin apparently is a creationist. To be a creationist I an astonishing level of ignorance, with which they are eager to infect others. I am a PUMA, sick to death of obama, dean pelosi and all the other traitors to Democracy, have never thought for a second of voting for obama, but I will never do anything that will allow a creationist to take any office by my vote. After these years of profound ignorance from the bush administration, I don’t think this country can stand much more.

I am more concerned with the protection of our constitution. Bush has weakened it so much. To put a radical like Obama with our laws still weak is very dangerous to me.

I trust McCain loves this country. I don’t believe for one minute the US will ever overthrow Roe.

And four years of McCain is a lot less scary than 8 years of Obama.
