“No Animosity”

So, last night was the Big Speech, in the Greek Temple, by the ONE. What did he do? He decided to channel Hillary Clinton. Oh, and Aaron Sorkin. One of the lines he is getting so much press on is a variation on a line from the movie, The American President. It was the line that the pundits labeled “excellent,” of course. And that was when he said McCain’s problem was “that he just didn’t get it.” I recognized it as soon as I saw it. Wow, I am so surprised that he wasn’t the least bit original. Hahaha! Good one, right?

Here’s the thing: I don’t want a poor copy of Hillary Clinton.
Someone who doesn’t have the passion, compassion, conviction, and intellect of Hillary Clinton. The one who can mouth her words, but not be able to DISCUSS them because he neither wrote them nor cares what the words say. He is a sham candidate, foisted upon us by a sham party. Way to go, DNC.

And one of the people who foisted Obama on us, who backed him but claimed he wasn’t until the beginning of June, is none other than my representative, and House Whip, Jim Clyburn. And he did it by demeaning Bill Clinton. You know, Bill Clinton, the one who spoke the other night so eloquently, as only he can? The first “black president”? The one under whom our economy was so good? That one?

Let me refresh your memory on what Jim Clyburn said about Bill Clinton, on our “friend,” Keith Olbermann’s show:

Oh, and Rep. Clyburn? The “WILL OF THE PEOPLE” WAS overturned by the SuperDelegates when they supported OBAMA, not Clinton! So many of the counties, districts, and STATES she won had the SDs go to Obama in clear contravention to the will of the people. So, how do all of those folks who wrote you feel about this NOW, or do they not care as long as THEIR candidate won? DO they not care HOW he got it as long as HE got it?

Oh – and Keith was right – there WAS “traitorous” acts – and they were perpetrated by the RBC of the DNC, and the Obama campaign with caucuses. Whatever. As long as it’s not Hillary, right?

Anywho, so during the primary, Clyburn had some tough stuff to say about Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton who has done more for the African American community than ANY other president. That one. After President Clinton’s outstanding speech the other night, Jim Clyburn was interviewed by Judy Woodruff. Here is the transcript from that interview in an article, Delegates Rate Speech “Outstanding:

JIM LEHRER: Let’s go now to Judy Woodruff, who’s on the floor there among the — the Clinton reaction, Judy?

JUDY WOODRUFF: Jim, I am here on the floor with the third-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives, Representative Jim Clyburn of the state of South Carolina.

What did you think of the president’s speech?

REP. JIM CLYBURN (D), South Carolina: A great speech, outstanding. As I said earlier today, I expect for Bill to be Bill. And he was Bill tonight. I really believe that he teed it up well for Barack Obama, and I think tomorrow night we’ll — he’ll do what he has to do tomorrow night.

JUDY WOODRUFF: There were some differences between you and some others with President Clinton with some of the language he used during the tough primary battle between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, the question of whether he injected race into the campaign at a couple of points. Is all forgiven on that front?

REP. JIM CLYBURN: Well, I never had a problem. I made it very clear. I admire and respect Bill Clinton. I think he was a great president. I was pleased to be in the Congress to help with that, so I never had a problem.

I do believe, though, that a lot of things that got said could have had more than one meaning. And it got carried in more than one way.

And so I still think that he is an outstanding person, and I have no animosity toward him at all.

JUDY WOODRUFF: How much will his support — how much difference will his support make in this general election campaign?

REP. JIM CLYBURN: I think it means a great amount of difference, especially to our base supporters out there. These people love and admire the Clintons. And they really needed to hear what they heard last night and what we’ve heard tonight.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Congressman Jim Clyburn, the House majority whip, thank you very much.

REP. JIM CLYBURN: Thank you.

Well, golly gee, Jim. YOU may not have any animosity toward Bill Clinton, but I imagine he might just have some toward YOU for disparaging him, for demeaning him, for implying (at the very least) that he was a RACIST. Yeah, he might not be too keen on YOU right about now. You tried to ruin his reputation, and YOU have no animosity toward HIm. That’s rich. Really rich.

But here’s the thing about BIll Clinton: he has class. He may have grown up dirt poor, but the man has class. And integrity. You and your candidate could sure take a lesson or a thousand from Bill AND Hillary on class and graciousness.

You know, now that it is official that Obama is The One, I have said I would vote downticket. But that means voting for Jim Clyburn. Frankly, there is no way in HELL I’m going to support that man after what he did to Hillary and Bill. Hmmm. Looks like I might not even be going to the polls for the first time in my adult life this time around (and before you tell me that I MUST vote for McCain, I assure you – I will give it serious consideration as a way to make clear to the DNC that I will not support a Party that lies, cheats, and steals. I am not there yet. As a lifelong Democrat, that is a hard, hard place for me to go. So can we just leave it at that, that I’ll think about it? Great. Thanks.).

The DNC is broken. People like Jim Clyburn helped break it. I can think of no better reward for him than to lose his seat. Or at least being the Whip. Hey, here’s a thought – how about Dennis Kucinich being the Whip? He hasn’t trashed the Clintons, or painted them as racist. He holds all of the positions Progressives hold dear. Sounds like a good option to me! Maybe he should push for THAT position!! Oh, that would be FUN to watch, wouldn’t it? Whoever, however, it would sure be nice for Clyburn to lose that power position he holds, wouldn’t it? I think so. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy, IMHO.

Jim, you may not have animosity toward President Clinton, but I sure have animosity toward you for what you did. To quote another line from The American President: “You have bigger problems…You just lost my vote.”

I am now on record (about a month ago) mentioning Palin for VP. After hearing Neocon Kristol mention her months ago.

I don’t understand this idiotic comment. Is this a 13 year old writing? Hillary is our love- but she had a chance to leave her party- she knew how corrupted it had become and chosed to stay. She knew about Larry Sinclair-birth certificate- islamic ties- ayers- etc., etc., Her people kept asking her to go on her own- she decided to stay with the evil Obama and his minions. She worked really hard campaigning for him and she got “crap”. Now, the support is going over to Mccain and Palin- simple as that! We love you Hillary- but we are moving on!

Comment by Pollpatrol | 2008-08-29 20:32:50

Speak for yourself. She can’t just up and leave the party, that’s unrealistic and you know it. She’s a loyal Democrat, the party was hijacked and there’s nothing she and Bill could do about it or they would have. We the people will get it back to set her up in 2012. Then we can try this all over again and do it the right way – democratically.

Comment by Ken in IL | 2008-08-29 20:55:53

One hopes enough contributions will be made by Pelosi & Co to pay off HRC’s debt and leave her with some to support her candidates for bending over the way she did.

I still have hope that Barky will be indicted soon enough to really make him unelectable. He really does have a lot of irons in the fire that may burn him soon.

yes, Hillary Clinton IS SMART. However, the poster taking this fact as a posting name isn’t.
I’ve never been more ashamed to be a democrat before in my life. I never thought I’d be ashamed of it. Even during the Carter years, I found good points about him. He was a very intelligent man, had a degree in Physics. He was a great humanatarian when he left office. I have come to terms with the fact that he was a lousy president and that obami will be an even worse president.
Being a great leader takes qualities obami doesn’t have, it takes character obami doesn’t have, it takes humility obami doesn’t have, it takes class obami doesn’t have.

I still adhere to the words of the Great Martin Luther King Jr who said that in his dream, a persons value won’t be judged by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character. MKL was right, MLK was a great leader, he knew that CHARACTER was what made a leader. He told us to look beyond skin color and look at Character. MLK would have voted AGAINST barack obama and FOR Hillary Clinton because he KNEW what character looked like and obami has NONE.
It is shameful that on the anniversary of such a great man that the example of what he did NOT want was nominated for the Democratic candidate for POTUS. A great disservice was done to MLK on that day, a disservice to his hard work, to his sacrifice and to his dream.

why not now? With these more “refined” statements?
I guess for the same reason they didn’t focus on his

Jack Tapper of ABCNews posted this story about an encounter between Obama and Biden…

At the Windmill Ice Cream Shop in Aliquippa, Penn, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, asked his running mate if he was getting hard of soft ice cream.

“Let’s see what we’ve got here,” Obama said as he approached the counter.

“So,” he said to Biden, “you decided to go with soft?”

“I’m getting hard,” Biden said. “I’m a hard guy.”

Chuckles all around as Obama orders his wife a small sundae.

There we go folks, the guys on the Democratic Ticket… I am sure even a 10 year old would know the double entendre in thier “joke”…

After almost 2 years now of being emotionally, financially, and politically involved with Hillary’s campaign I tire of the anger. I am assured that you are correct in your thinking as it relates to doing battle. I also am assured that we most certainly are doing battle. Is there a means of doing battle by means of peaceful actions in this age?

I love that Palin gal. I am so excited to vote for McCain. I think he just won the election by choosing her as his VP. I sure hope so because there will be a mass exit from the US if Obama is elected president. It is a sin that he has gotten as far as he did. MLK is turning over in his grave. Obama is not the kind of man MLK would have respected. MLK knew character and he could spot a phony a mile away.

Rabble rouser: I too am a 50 year Dem and have never wavered in voting for Dems. But for the first time I am going to vote Republican and McCain’s choice of Palin today cemented that for me. Why? I think McCain just shot a torpedo across the bow of the good ship Republican that said it is McCain the Maverick that is going to run for the presidency. I think McCain and Palin will have a clear agenda about reframing and restructuring the Republican party. That McCain I respect. I even envy the Republicans because their party needs a huge clean up and reinvention and they actually have a chance to have that happen. The Democrats need the same medicine but with Obama beholden to a Democratic leadership that has proved it has no courage to be the Democratic Party we are not going to get that. The only way I think Democrats may see their party survive is if this mess they have created gets them the results they deserve—a landslide loss at the polls. Then Hillary will have the opportunity to do what I think McCain will do for the Republicans. So my vote will be Republican for what I hope is the first and only time in my life and McCain’s choice today gave me some confidence that I can cast that vote with less risk than I could hope. My dream is that McCain gets a cleaner GOP going and sets the table for HRC to clean the clocks at DNC headquarters.

Comment by trixta | 2008-08-29 20:33:09

jangles–You are so right. I, too, have thought about McCain’s presidency as a path that will purge and restore the Grand Old Party.

Too bad the DEMs are now undergoing our neo-liberal/ neo-con Bush pangs now! But the sooner Obama loses the sooner we will be able to restore our own Party with Hillary at the helm. She may even be running against Palin next time around–but I welcome that! It’s about time women take the center stage in national politics!

I think this VP choice, if McCain wins, will clean up both parties.

The GOP will have to listen to more than their base, because it will be voters beyond their base that put them in.

The Dems will have to get rid of the current leadership, because they are tired of loosing and this game did not work.

I think we are maybe getting close to creating a U.S. country and people first environment that my kids might consider worthy.

I can dream.

Hey Amy,

Great article. To the point:

A vote is not symbolic – it’s STRATEGIC. You MUST think of what’s good for the nation. McCain/Palin can be contained for four years; Palin can root Obama out of Washington and Obama and Daley out of Chicago; THESE ARE GOOD THINGS!

Don’t waste your right to vote. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Vote strategically.

Thank you.

Best to you, Amy!

Great post, as usual. Depressing that the year started with so much promise and ended up like this. I didn’t even want Hillary to run at the beginning and I grew to admire and respect her. I made thousands of calls for her and sent money I couldn’t afford. She’s so genuine, so smart and such an amazing fighter. She cares about helping people. She was never running for a stadium full of fireworks.

I don’t have much stomach for Krauthammer but this is a good analysis of BO and worth reading:

I’m voting McCain to send a BIG message to the Democratic party that I won’t support it as the corrupt entity it’s become. The nomination was stolen and we know it. It’s important to tell Donkey Brazile that yeah, maybe they do need us.

Commentators are saying on the liveral side that it takes the McCain no Experience argument off the table. LOL NO! It takes McCains argument and puts it in obamas mouth for when he turns to barry in the debates and blasts him for being a hypocrit.

Anybody who thinks the palic choice was just a simple grab at hillary voters is too naive to understand politics.

The real run for the White House has just begun and the Obamamanchild and his schoolyard thugs are about to find out that there is more to this game then set pieces, racebaiting and in the tank media pundits.

On a side note the meltdown at MSNBC between the so called reporters is hillarious. I cant wait till Either Olbereman or Mathews picks up a folding chair and smashes the other over the head during a broadcast.

Yep , just another reason to show us why the Democrats don’t win elections.

Took me a few hours today to realize it but Palin was an excellent choice for McCain. In one of McCain’s town halls he was asked if his staff would be 50% women and he said he could not guarantee that as they would be the “most qualified people for the job” but he did say he would make sure women had a presence through out his staff. Promise made, promise kept!

We heard through out the primary that Republican women were willing to cross party lines for Hillary, here is hoping democratic women will cross party lines to vote for Palin.

That is the problem with the Obot supporters. You really can’t deliver a compelling argument without insulting everyone.

Yes and McCain and Palin have been politically adroit enough to treat Hillary, Ferraro and, by extension, women voters, with respect in their campaign speeches.

Obama still can’t seem to figure out how to do this.

What an arrogant dunce. Honestly.

Now his assinine campaign is insulting Palin because she went to the U. of Idaho and not Harvard. And also insulting her because before she was Governor of Alaska, she was the Mayor of a town of 9,000 — good Obie! Way to diss more of those small town, “bitter” folks.

Is he a complete boob or what?

I truly think he is trying to kill his own campaign with this kind of elitism and disrespect.

Comment by Pink Panther | 2008-08-29 19:41:04

Oh, since she is middle America and mainstream America, Obama is insulting her.

She wasn’t a person of privilege like Obama and that’s bad?

Obama graduated from the exclusive private Punahou High School in Hawaii. He attended Occidential College, a small private college in Los Angeles. He graduated from Columbia University, a private university in New York City. And, received his law degree from Harvard University, a private university. Both Columbia and Harvard are considered ivy league schools.

Obama grew up with an elitist background and Palin had to work to get ahead like most of Americans.

He and his Confederacy of DUNCES were so focused on destroying the Clintons and the Dem Party that they lost sight of the forest for the petty trees.

My sister and Mom (life-long Dems) who are on a cruise in Alaska called me as soon as they heard the news of McCain’s VP pick. They said they now have a reason to vote FOR McCain rather than just against OPrecious.

Well I just answered my own question. I just turned on Olbermann for the first time in 6 months, and caught his “analysis” with Rachel Maddow. They did not even give a hint of being objective. It can not be passed of as news, by even the loosest definition. It wwas simply just a Obama “propoganda” session, but if you go on Kos, they swear by KO as being the only legitimate newsguy out there. They have been completly BRAINWASHED. They are just living inside this MSNBC – KO cacoon. They dont have any idea what is really happening. They think that CNN is a Republican network. LOL. The bots just have no clue, and thats why they do such stupid things as constantly insulting the very group they need. (women) They dont realize the Republicans dont care what KO says, and they are energized and united behind this Palin pic, and if the bots just go around insulting Hillary supporters and women in general, they are going to have a fractured Dem party at best supporting Obama, which is no match for a unified Republican party. (Just simple mathmatics)

2TObama: Before you laugh yourself silly take a look at the shots of Palin in fishing gear, shooting a rifle, on the cover of Vogue as Miss MO (big swing state), and remember what the soccer moms have done to the last few Dems. Add the fact that about 60% of voters support “more drilling”—nor has she put creationism in the classroom. I think a lot of those independents are going to like a “maverick” Republican woman who hunts moose. Comment by PanMetron | 2008-08-29 19:33:41

One of the big ongoing questions I ask in politics is where the value of partisan ends and principle begins.

I’ve been a Democrat-supporting independent, then after 2000 registered as a Democrat, and after Obama stole the DNC ops to Chicago registered unaffiliated again. I’ve settled into a New Democrat outlook long after the fact, with hindsight, but the more this Obama/Dean/Axelrod crap continues the more unfettered of Democratic loyalty I become.

Obama has claimed, ever since 2004, to be reaching out to Independents and Republicans. But if you’re truly post-partisan, you don’t support someone just because they’re a Democrat, or refuse to vote for someone just because they’re Republican. You vote for the best person for the job (which, by the way, I see as a truly progressive value – in a non-partisan, non-leftist sense of the word). By Obama’s own professed notions of doing what’s right, -anyone- should be as open to voting for McCain as for Obama, and make their decision based on reason and demonstrated character, not on party affiliation. After all, BO is the one who said that the Republicans had been the “party of ideas” in recent years.

And yet that’s not the whip that the DNC and the Obama camp is cracking today. Everyone who’s been (or leant) Democrat is supposed to see a Republican as the vilest thing on earth, and unquestioningly accept the obvious smear that McCain and Bush are the same – they weren’t the same in 2000, nor when McCain pushed the adminstration to come clean on torture, to abandon the disastrous Rumsfeld strategy, to provide more transparency and accountability in military budgeting, etc. etc. And the exaggerated invective of the left which has completely taken over the party from the top down (thanks to Dean and the rabid left) is the opposite of a tone of national unity and tolerance.

You can’t pretend to be post-partisan and spew the most bitter partisan rhetoric in recent memory – certainly this year’s DNC tone is at least as divisive and partisan as the anti-Clinton right in the 90’s. Obama’s message on the current state of America sounds Mondale-desperate – never mind what Bush has done in the past 8 years, a lot of us have done some pretty good things.

So, I’m done with partisanship and will go back to principle. I’m going to remain undecided until Nov. 4, but right now I look at McCain, and I look at Obama, and I see one experienced man I respect and one ambitious man I suspect. Never mind parties; who between these two, personally, can you really trust to hold the reins of this nation? Hillary is not an option now; if she was, I’d already have doubled down on the maxed-out contribution I made in the primary, and would be working for her every day. But that does not mean I take marching orders from her, or anyone else; I’m conducting this job interview, they’re applying. I suggest those of us with an independent streak hold our cards and see how this unfolds, but remember: it’s YOUR choice, not the party’s, not the media’s, not the blogosphere’s – not even Hillary’s.

I’m a lifelong, dedicated Democrat who has never once voted for a republican. And this year I’m voting for McCain. Not voting is not an option for me – a vote NOT for barky’s opponent is a vote for barky as far as I’m concerned.

I’m voting McCain/Palin for one main reason – if Obama doesn’t LOSE, then the Democratic party will NEVER change – there will be NO shake-up, there will be NO reform. They will have gotten away with ALL of it – their fraud and lies manipulation and intimidation and threats. Their “lesson” will be that THIS IS THE WAY THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY SHOULD BE – BECAUSE THEY WON – no reform needed.

Obama losing is our only chance to get our party and our country back – eventually.

The Primary started long before last year. The msm very shrewdly started pumping up opposition to Hillary by proclaiming her the Democratic frontrunner. In doing this, they were also fanning the flames of Hillary-hatred and Bill Clinton, too. Everyone knows how Gore lost the election. And a big part of that was the Bush campaigning on restoring dignity and honor to the White House. BTW, Bush, how’d that work out for us?

Once the Hillary-hatred fans were flamed, the country depressed from the Iraq War and the economy and the desire to just get rid of Bush/Cheney were resigned to accept Hillary only because there was no one else.

Enter Barack 0bama supported by Dean, Kerry, the Chicago-combine and 0bama’s Alinsky style community organizing. The Caucus fraud was well-organized and from there, he took his Pentacostal-like traveling tent show cult-of-personality road tour and began his campaign of hope and change. With the support of the msm who helped this narrative along big time, the Hillary-hatred loomed front and center and people became convinced that 0bama was the One and Hillary needed to step off.

The cries from Dean, Kennedy, Kerry, and the whole rotten bunch fed the Hillary-hatred. But they underestimated her and she fought on, nobly, smartly, courageously, intelligently making her case, stating policy as 0bama preached inspiration, and her supporters remained committed and she gained respect, admiration as 0bama’s life and past caught up with him in the form of Wright.

0bama stopped getting converts back in March. And when Hillary stayed in the race, 0bama, his campaign, and the DNC leadership began the full-frontal exploitation of the AA community, threatening violence, playing the race card, guilting white America into believing they owed the AA community a black candidate and finally piggy-backing on the Republican free fall because of the Bush/Cheney years.

The same Americans who gave us Bush, are now force-feeding us 0bama out of guilt. It hasn’t occured to them that they really don’t have a good track record at picking presidents.

There are a lot of people who’ve bought into the 0bama narrative and although Bill Clinton didn’t say this, I, an AA am saying that it is a fairy tale, a fantasy, American hype at its highest. 0bama is not the man he tries to pretend he is. He is all gloss and no substance. A professional candidate.

Can someone like this govern? Someone who is already running from criticism and is censoring the press? We already know that McCain can, and Palin has been governing while 0bama’s been running for POTUS and has actual accomplishments in her brief time as governor. Even Biden does.

So why did the Democrats pick someone who is only a celebrity image? And why should we support a Party who makes such terrible choices?

One way or the other, the Dems are going to have to face that by alienating a substantial portion of their base in such an ugly arrogant way, they will have to pay.

I am not going to roll with these folks any longer. And by many of the comments here, it looks like you all won’t be rollin’ either.

Two Term (Obama In Jail after the FEC completes their investigation into Hamas’ illegal contributions to his campaign)

Speaking of environmental issues, did you know Obama opposed the House passed 1872 Mining Act reform bill. In November 2007, Obama pandered to the mining industry by coming out AGAINST a crucial reform bill the House passed that would have updated the notorious “General Mining Law of 1872.” Obama has a close association with a longtime Nevada power broker, mining lobbyist and member of Obama’s Nevada campaign steering committee.

Did you also know about Obama’s support of nuclear power?

As the NYT stated in an article,

When residents in Illinois voiced outrage a few years ago upon learning that the Exelon Corporation had not disclosed radioactive leaks at one of its nuclear plants, Obama took up their cause. Obama scolded Exelon and federal regulators for inaction and introduced a bill to require all plant owners to notify state and local authorities immediately of even small leaks. He has boasted of it on the campaign trail, telling a crowd in Iowa in December that it was “the only nuclear legislation that I’ve passed.”

A close look at the path his legislation took tells a very different story. While he initially fought to advance his bill, even holding up a presidential nomination to try to force a hearing on it, Obama eventually rewrote it to reflect changes sought by Senate Republicans, Exelon and nuclear regulators. The new bill removed language mandating prompt reporting and simply offered guidance to regulators, whom it charged with addressing the issue of unreported leaks.

Since 2003, executives and employees of Exelon, which is based in Illinois, have contributed at least $227,000 to Mr. Obama’s campaigns for the United States Senate and for president. Two top Exelon officials, Frank M. Clark, executive vice president, and John W. Rogers Jr., a director, are among his largest fund-raisers.

Another Obama donor, John W. Rowe, chairman of Exelon, is also chairman of the Nuclear Energy Institute, the nuclear power industry’s lobbying group, based in Washington. Exelon’s support for Mr. Obama far exceeds its support for any other presidential candidate.

Obama: “I will accept public financing for the general election – it’s only right” – except now I don’t need it anymore – so, I lied – too bad – get over it – where else are you gonna go, suckers?”

Obama: “I am against offshore drilling – except my polls numbers are tanking – NOW I’m FOR offshore drilling – so what if I’m saying now that I always was FOR offshore drilling – what’s a little lie between friends, anyway – I mean, where else are you gonna go?”

Obama: Sure, all my “followers” are idiots and suckers – but who cares? They’ve got MONEY and they’ve got VOTES (maybe even a few votes apiece!) – and, when it comes right down to it, where else are they gonna go?”

Jim Clyburn is the ultimate hypocrite. He fits right in with the “New Democratic Party.”

I’m done with them all. They can kiss my a@@ for what they did to the Clintons during the primaries. The egotistical a-holes knew they’d need Hillary and Bill to clinch the deal, yet treated them worse than step-children. I have NO respect for any of them.

A study in contrast… the GOP stands by their colleagues to the bitter end. You never hear them dissing their own.

Sorry Barky – McCain “GETS IT.” YOU lose… bye bye Barack!

McCain/Palin ‘08
Hillary ‘12

Life long Democrats, we are voting McCain!
So is all of our family and PROUD!

Sorry, meant to say the BEST decision (choice), John McCain could have made!
Would not have voted for obama even IF Hillary was the VP choice.

McCain made a good choice and I’m definitly going to vote for McCain now!! McCain used good judgement
in selecting Palin as his VP. Good Judgement is what
Obama doesn’t have!! Obama’s speech Thursday night
had NO meat!! Obama still did not give any specifics
on his issues which leaves him wide open to put the screws to the American people after he’s in office!!
He’s been screwing people and throwing them under the bus all through his campaign!! “Once a Rat” always a “Rat”!! Obama plays by his “Dirty Chicago
political ploys!!!
“VOTE COUNTRY FIRST” NO WAY OBAMA!!

You think I’m a idiot? None of you had a real response to what I said. If you REALLY cared about the issues that Hillary Clinton cared about, you’d hold your nose and support Obama.

Lets look at the issues…

1. A woman’s right to choose, McCain/Palin = against Obama/Clinton = for
2. The criminal war in Iraq, McCain/Palin = for Obama/Clinton = against
3. Universal Healthcare, Obama/Clinton = for McCain/Palin = against
4. Alternative Energy Obama/Clinton = for McCain/Palin = “LETS DRILL!!!”

Republicans straight up DO NOT GIVE TWO SH!T5 for you people (especially women). Vote for McCain, you’ll get the government you racist tools deserve. You’re the same bunch of scared suburbanites that are informed by Fox News and are motivated by fear. You put Bush in office, if there’s a God it’s your loved ones fighting in the desert for oil right now.

>>> if there’s a God it’s your loved ones fighting in the desert for oil right now.

What a slimebag piece of shit you are. I have been to Iraq as a civilian contractor and have one kid in Afghanistan and the other has done two DoD tours in Iraq.

Someone needs to shove you back up your mother’s ass…

“Someone needs to shove you back up your mother’s ass”

Oh wow, do you really want to go there? Look man, where I come from we don’t come out of our mothers ass. That said I just came IN your mom’s ass. Tell her to call me, 1 800 EAT SHIT.

Also, you’re a discredit to your country. It’s attitudes like these that have people all around the world straight hating American’s guts. I could say more, but I’ll just kick back and watch you tools reap what you sow. Karma’s a bitch, and so are you (anyone that casts a vote for McCain and his cookie baking, bible thumping sidekick).

Obama will be removed from the ballot the same way he removed Alice Palmer.

I haven’t read all the comments so maybe this has been mentioned already, but when Obie responds in this video he flips us the birdie. He says “I don’t believe in irreparable breaches..” then gets that arrogant, smug, immature expression that we’ve seen so often on his face, and at about 1:50 he puts his left middle finger on his cheek and most purposefully pulls it down his cheek. I’ve watched it several times – it’s not a scratch, not a bug – it’s what seems to have become one of his signature responses to people who irritate him. Can you imagine this child meeting with Putin? Barky thinks all he has to do is flash his smile and Putin will become putty in his hands. But when Putin tells him where to shove it, Barky will flip him off. That ought to help our image, for sure.

Comment by eric | 2008-08-30 08:51:25

Yeah I know what you mean, who does this uppity black man think he is? And no, I can’t imagine Obama meeting with Putin…

“I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy and we had a very good dialogue. I was able to get a sense of his soul.” -George W Bush after his first meeting with Putin

Trustworthy? Soul? Are you effing kidding me? Look man/woman, you are obviously high as a kite on Fox news kool aid, here…let me add some Draino to that for ya. There is no way Obama and his policy of stern diplomacy could foul things up any worse than Bush has, and McCain will.
