Obama, a black man, won and Clinton, a woman, did not this time. So does that mean we abandon our party to support a party that is totally out of touch with democratic values? I am smelling some cover ups with Palin as too much news is coming out about her ethics and personal family matters that will distract her in this campaign. She was an unfortunate selection as I don't think that McCain really prepared her for the media attacks which is more than inevitable in today's world. She should be transparent and not let the public start wondering what else is she hiding. Yes, families are private but we don't even know her yet. And that is what we are trying to do--learn more about her to find out what really compelled McCain to select her as there were other females who were more qualified such as Kay Bailey Hutchison.
