Barack May Want to Tell His Friends to Stop Bugging

Did you catch Barack Obama threatening to fire “his” people if they are helping fan the flames about the preganancy of the Republican Vice Presidential candidate’s 17 year old daughter? Families, so he says, are not fair game.

So, why do you think Barack came out on this? Because immediate internal polling is running very negative against the Obama campaign, which is perceived as pushing the Bristol pregnancy story. They are being painted as bullies and hypocrites. Most Americans, especially those bitter white folks clinging to God and guns, view this as a private matter and none of the media’s business.

For starters, anyone who is 21 years of age or less should not be a target of any campaign. Attacking a 17 year old girl and spreading vicious lies, as have the clowns at Kos and Andrew Sullivan (just to name two of the more prominent offenders) is beyond the pale. Family members who are over 21 are fair game if they are using the fame of their parent, spouse, or relative to make a buck or get an advantage. I think the views and actions of a spouse also are relevant if the man or woman has engaged in conduct such as hurling racial epithets or promoting policies that most Americans reject.

I think it is noteworthy that Sarah Palin’s husband resigned his job in the Oil and Gas industry in order to avoid the appearance of impropriety while Michelle Obama used her husband’s position to enrich herself. She got a job she would not have if her husband had not been a player in the Chicago political machine. To that extent I think the actions and words of spouses are relevant and potentially important.

While we’re at it, Barack may want to have a chance with his supporters, Donna Brazile and Sean “Puff” Daddy aka P. Diddy Combs.

Seems that they’ve been “buggin.” Check out P. Diddy:

After watching that I believe we have new footage for an anti-drug commercial when you want to illustrate the negative results of someone who uses drugs (i.e., this is your brain on drugs). If it ain’t drug use, what else can account for this level of hilarious buffoonery? The dude busts on McCain and Alaska seemingly oblivious to the concept of irony.

When the November election rolls around here is what will resonate for voters weighing the differences between Palin and Obama–Sarah Palin fought the corrupt elements of their party and her husband resigned a profitable job to avoid the perception that he was getting favors for his company by sleeping with the Governor while Barack Obama aligned himself with demonstrably corrupt politicians and businessmen (Rezko anyone?) in order to get ahead. And his wife? She jumped on the Chicago gravy train too. How can Obama call himself the new politics if he represents the Chicago machine?

Larry — Most of us perceived that it was Obama that started the dirty tricks against Palin’s daughter. Maybe Obama’s people read the blogs today to find out the American people were not amused. Its hard to say you knew nothing about this when it was your campaign who fired up the racism issue. Obama has worn out his welcome.

Comment by Pink Panther | 2008-09-01 22:46:35

Larry-There is no doubt that this is the same attack strategy used against Hillary and Palin, which was (is) directed from the top of Obama’s campaign.

It’s a relief to know that the public is finally realizing the common thread of hate running through Obama’s campaign, especially against women.

Comment by Nancy | 2008-09-02 00:23:09

The only hate around here comes from Larry and his supporters.

Yup! The “common thread of hate” is so obvious by now to many of us. The Obama staff and supporters have run a Chicago political sewer-type campaign and it is still abusing Women.

DIVINE JUSTICE FOR PALIN’S ‘WHINEY HILLARY’

I saw Palin’s interview of last year and she seems to be criticising, although in a professional manner, HIllary’s compalining about the sexism in the media. Palin is not too sympathetic with Hillary’s campaign who (as everyone who ever watched CNN/MSNBC knows!) feel that Media Misogyny was used to defeat her.

Palin says best that we don’t see this as a GEGNDER THING (!) and that Hillary may be, “with due respect”, appearing to be whining…”Why not just get on with it and stop talking about this gender thing…has nothing to do with it”!!

Palins respectfull but unempathic view of Hilalry’s sexist treatment by the media misogynist frat-boys may now come back to haunt her!
Further, it may prove beneifical to Palin to endure these Obamasexist attacks on her daughter if for no other reason than to ensure she appreciates what Hillary went through. And that, yes, Sarah, there is a “gender thing” that’s not right.

And, yes, Sarah, perhaps you are in a better position now to empathize with Hillary’s “whining” about the woman-bashing she received in the hands of the media misogynists and the Obama Chicago Sewer Campaign…..

Karma’s a Bitch, aint’ it, Ms Palin! But, like Obambi, you’ll “get over it”, soon.

Palin, ultimately, may provide the ammunition to stop misogynist treatment of women in the media. And enacting anti-hatred legislation to protect women like herself and Hillary from such inhumane diminishment due to gender!

Where Hillary was a fully conscious pioneer of Women’s rights, Ms Palin, who’s remained oblivious to the need to bring this to the forefront, may be the one who finally puts the last nail on Media Misogyny’s coffin….

Ah…the irony of it all. And didn’t Hillarry say in her speech:

“I AM A MOTHER FIRST…..” HRC I love you!….

Actually, from what I’m reading and hearing, the GOP is in a blind panic about Palin. Today’s revelations didn’t just include the daughter — which was revealed by the McCain campaign, not by anyone else. Word also came out of Alaska that the Governor has retained an attorney in Troopergate; that Todd Palin has a drunk driving charge on his record, and that Sarah Palin is a former member of the Independence Party, which tried to secede from the Union.

This woman is a nutcase. Every single person I have spoken to this weekend, Democrat and Republican alike, is appalled by the pick, cannot conceive of her becoming president, and thinks McCain is a complete idiot for putting his own campaign in jeopardy this way. Here’s the best part: McCain campaign officials arriving for the first time in Alaska last Thursday and began vetting Governor Palin in-state less than 24 hours before McCain announced her as his running mate.

Astonishing. Let me be blunt: this is not the way winning campaigns are won. Period. At this point I’d lay 50/50 odds that Palin een survives as his running mate; if she does, the odds of her hurting the ticket more than she helps are very, very high, whether because of Troopergate getting worse (she has already been forced to change her story a couple times, and there’s no telling whether more information will emerge that puts her in real prosecutorial trouble; her retention of an attorney today isn’t exactly reassuring on that score), her saying something idiotic on the campaign trail that reveals her lack of knowledge of foreign or domestic affairs, or some other unknown personal or political problem emerging.

She is big, big trouble for McCain.

Retaining a lawyer for ANY ethics investigation is good sense. To think otherwise is retarded. And I hope the details of the case are made very public rather than just refered to as “an ethics investigation” because it actually paints her in a very good light.

The DUI of her husbands was when he was 22. Not a big deal.

The continued hissy fits only show the Obama is in quicksand on this one. Maybe she’ll blow up. Time will tell. But so far it’s obvious that she’s being seen as more of a threat and an unintended asset.

Ever stopped to ask yourself why McCain isn’t all that worried about Biden? Why McCain seemed genuinely pleased with that pick? Take a couple of hours and think on it.

Comment by doctorwang | 2008-09-02 01:48:39

Biden and the great response given the Democratic convention are the primary reasons that Palin was picked. McCain and friends got scared, and then made a REALLY BAD judgment.

Comment by Obama is a bum | 2008-09-02 05:17:22

Comment by karen Anderson | 2008-09-02 04:17:47

For months now, I’ve been planning to support McCain if Hillary were not the nominee. By picking Palin as his running mate, McCain took the inexperience argument off the table, at least in the eyes of the media. Because as we know, the media are sexist pigs that are going to try to roast her alive. Just think about it. If the pick were a man who was only a first term governor, we wouldn’t be having as much of a discussion about Palin’s relative inexperience. The sexism is going to be rampant. Just tonight I heard Bob Beckel on CNN comment, “what kind of mother is she to let her daughter get pregnant? This is not a family values type of mother, etc “” Screw him. Sexist jerk. So now republican and independent voters can get a taste of the kind of HATE that the fringe left of the Democratic party and Obamabots inflicted on Hillary and her supporters throughout the primaries. And they can see for themselves why so many in Obama’s own party detest him with a passion.

Comment by Hope Floats | 2008-09-02 01:15:42

Palin’s minor scandals make her seem more likable and easy to relate to. Her husband’s DUI at 22, the messy divorce and firing involving her brother-in-law, her pregnant 17-year-old daughter, fishing permit violations. It’s kind of like Northern Exposure, pretty hilarious how the left wing kooks are losing their minds over this. The object of their game is to define Sarah Palin before she can introduce herself. She has already done a good job of that in Dayton OH. If she hadn’t then the Obama campaign wouldn’t have gone there right after Joe Biden got drunk in Beaver PA. She terrifies them and rightfully so. It seems they want to paint her as a bible-thumping right wing kook, but there is a problem there: that’s how the left wing Hollywood / New York / DC elite see the rest of the country. They will fail, because Sarah Palin is ONE OF US.

Also Hope Floats, you mentioned Northern Exposure above and that show came to mind when I first heard she would be on the ticket.

Back when I did watch TV there were few shows I found compelling over the decades; West Wing, MASH, and Northern Exposure were among them.

And obots call me a republican! heh. pffft.

The moose intro to the show sums it up, it is a different kind of place. Alaska is the most bold choice in American political tickets in my life time, let alone a woman.

I’ll take the so-called “Troopergate” over the Ayers cover up, Wright’s Black Liberation Theology, Rezco-gate and plagiarism any day.

Everyone who knows government knows that executives dismiss their appointees all the time and they are not required to give a reason. Furthermore, why should taxpayers pay the salary of a trooper who threatens and beats people, tasers his children and drinks alcohol in the patrol car? They are only making an issue of it because she is a female governor who dismissed her police chief. Happens all the time with male Governors and Mayors not to mention Presidents. It’s called management and administration…something BO has never done. His only administrative experience was giving out money to Ayers and his friends through the Annenberg Challenge.

You know darn well Obama’s campaign did NOT start the rumors (and they aren’t rumors for crying out loud). The media started to investigate after getting wind of the fact. Obama gave an excellent statement on this and will not condone any attacking on the children of the candidates. Quit planting lies – this site is the guiltiest of all when it comes to spreading falsehoods on Obama and his family.
How do you know Michelle Obama would not have gotten the job had her husband not been a senator?? Prove it – you can’t because its another lie. and guess what, Palin’s husband quit his job and THEN TOOK IT BACK!!! he felt it was not a conflict of interest, based on HER opinion. so you can spare the back slapping, Larry.

We’ve heard Obama’s saying he would fire someone for misconduct, then the leaked campaign memos come out after the smoke has cleared and the fall guy kept their job. LGF traced smears to Obama’s Fight the Smears servers. Politico reported how the strategy was always to use surrogates to fan dirty whisper campaigns. Peole have come to expect this sleaze from him and his media guru Axelrod who is well-known in political circles for this. Obama’s leaked his opponents’ divorce records to the press, challenged signatures on petitions and all kinds of underhanded tricks. People compare him to Bush. He is actually a lot like Nixon, and this rumor about Palin’s children is typical.

And I would hope that NBC ends up having that same attitude.” (Reference ABC News) (emphasis added.)

Obama’s National Campaign Co-Chair, Jesse Jackson, Jr., said this to the Washington post about Hillary and Obama didn’t bat an eye:

“The natural reminder here is O.J. [Simpson] — how does an African American candidate attack a white woman?”

(Reference Washington Post January 4, 2008)

Obama’s cmpaign did start the rumors via his bloggers. The only reason he came out and said something was because people started to compare the situation with Obama’s own background.

Obama’s mother was pregant with him at 17 before she married his father – who by the way, was ALREADY married to a woman in Kenya. Polygamy anyone????

Obama wasn’t trying to protect anyone’s children, he was trying to cover his own ass as usual.

I agree Larry. I believe his campaign was pushing it. Obama is tied to MoveOn.org through Soros and there is not doubt about it. I have been researching Soros and the connections are beyond the pale! No one has a right to do what was being done. It is a sad state of affairs when parents have to make public statements about their child. My heart was with the Palins when they released the news about their daughter and still is. It has happened in my family and my husband’s family. The Palins are brave. Obama is non-authentic……his outrage appears and orders appear less than sincere!

Comment by sfhillary | 2008-09-02 00:07:04

Yeah, I’m sure if there was something scandalous to reveal about Obama’s kids, you PUMAs would tactfully refrain from speculating about it, right?

For the record, I agree with Senator Obama that candidates’ children should be out of bounds. But as someone who really despises politicized evangelicals, I do find it hilarious that the teen daughter of an abstinence-only Governor is pregnant.

Comment by just me | 2008-09-02 00:22:15

Only a sick human being would laugh at a seventeen year old girl who is pregnant.

Comment by sfhillary | 2008-09-02 00:31:56

I’m not laughing at the girl. I am the father of a young girl myself, so trust me when I say I know what parenting is about. What I am laughing at, as always, is the rampant hypocrisy of political evangelicals, who constantly seek to impose their religious views on everyone else. I despise them all. And I consider it a national blessing that America will get an object lesson through the Palin family of how effective abstinence-only education really is. Nobody who actually cares about the sexual and emotional health of American teens should want to have anything to do with Sarah Palin.

Comment by Johnny at Work | 2008-09-02 00:34:48

How is Sarah Palin or her daughter a hypocrite? The daughter was given a choice whether she wanted to keep the baby or not, and she wants it. She knew pregnancy was a possibility when she had sex, and she did it anyway. She felt she was ready to have a baby. Choice.

Comment by NoBamaNoWay | 2008-09-02 06:02:33

here’s some hypocrisy: if Palin was a black democrat, you leftist whiners wouldn’t say ONE WORD about her kid being pregnant, and if anybody did, you’d scream racism.

Comment by Garfield | 2008-09-02 00:32:36

Have you read the comments Obama supporters made about Hillary and her supporters. Obama supporters writing these comments are not well.

But Obama wrote in Dreams from My Father,
One line in particular “stayed with me,” he says. “He spoke of a wish he’d once had, the wish that the white blood that ran through him, there by an act of violence, might somehow be expunged.”

It is socially unacceptable to discriminate against women by words or actions. Just like it is socially unacceptable to discriminate against any other group of people, e.g., gays, blacks, pregnate un-married teenagers, people with disabilities.

This is my take on this:

Look at the WSJ Washington Wire story and fill in what they don’t…. And now it seems Donna Brazile thinks Bristol Palin is “fair game”…And I comment on the McCain campaign’s ability to differentiate between the words of the candidate vs. those of his supporters. Impressive…

WHAT’S Wrong WITH THIS STORY–WSJ: OBAMA SAYS PALIN”S FAMILY IS “OFF LIMITS”

HUH????

You know, the cynic in me is saying that Obama is being so magnanimous so that people don’t go snooping into his fuzzy family history…I keep thinking about Bill Clinton’s references to the “Constitution” before and during the Convention…

Anyway…

So, after lifting nary a finger to express his concern over the misogynist references to Hillary Clinton by the media and his followers, and, indeed, GIVING her the finger, Obama is being “classy” and telling the hounds to lay off Sarah Palin’s daughter. (Funny, I don’t remember any concerns about the Schuster “pimping Chelsea” comments on MSNBC.)

snip

So, let’s take this WSJ story one underlined comment at a time.

I wonder how many of her black nieces have gotten pregnant out of wedlock by their “baby daddy”?

Everything has been handed to Obama. He was selected. He never had to work for anything in his life. Obama had his people challenge the signatures of those people who opposed him on the ballot for senator. Obama got all his opponents thrown off the ballot so he could run unopposed.

During the Presidential primary, he got others to do his dirty work so he could be selected.

We aren’t. It is disinformation propaganda and smear. That is the only tool in the koskids tool box.

Comment by Out of Touch Obamabots | 2008-09-02 00:22:14

That is exactly right. Unlike Michelle Obama and Reverend Jeremiah Wright, No Quarter is a website that is inclusive. And we do not damn members of any race. Michelle Obama, Barack Obama and Reverend Wright do, however.

Why are you supporting a supremacist for President? Why are you supporting Barack Obama? Why are you supporting a man who attended a “Kill Whitey,” “God Damn AmeriKKKa” church?

NoQuarter is not racist. But Daily Kos, MyDD and other Obama websites are. I love No Quarter.

Comment by sfhillary | 2008-09-02 00:34:45

Sigh. You obviously know nothing about Trinity Church. I won’t even engage you on the subject of Obama’s purported racism. But would you like to explain how DailyKos, a website with tens of thousands of active members, can be considered “racist?”

Comment by Pink Panther | 2008-09-02 00:40:07

The number of members at DailKos is irrelevant.

Have you read their comments? Did you read the names used to describe Hillary?

Do you know the definition of racist?

Comment by doctorwang | 2008-09-02 01:57:37

Kelvin, Donna is not a favorite on this site. She told us to stay home Nov. 4. She said our votes aren’t needed. There is a New Coalition of Democrats. Younger, more urban, more suburban. How often do you need to be told, it’s not just about Hillary anymore? Personally, I don’t like even facetious threats of violence, but there are many who would like Brazil to just shut up. She represents the nasty, vile campaign waged against Hillary. Win at any cost is her moto, even including personal attacks on an unmarried teenager. She is a despicable piece of human excrement and, if BO loses this election and I hope he will, you can lay it, at least in part, at her feet. My suggestion to you, if you want to help your candidate, send her an email and tell her to “stop the hate”.

Comment by Out of Touch Obamabots | 2008-09-02 00:27:15

I know. I notice all Obama supporters are extremely violent. Their recreation of ‘68, their coordinated harassment of Hillary Clinton supporters, the sexual imagery, the prank telephone calls, the exposure of private details of bloggers who support other candidates and the battery of older women at caucuses bespeak a predilection for intimidation, violence and oppression. They are all dangerous, and they are a threat to our democracy. It also does not help that most if not all of them are raging sexists.

But Obama “firing” someone will stick as much as he “fired” Samantha Powers.

Hello fellow bloggers!

The Ghost Writer Guild (a new Obama group) will be publishing op-ed articles that support the candidacy of Senator Barrack Obama, and we would like your help.

We are asking you to cut and paste the featured op-ed of the day into the peer-to peer communication tool provided by HQ.

Today’s featured article, The Hurricane and John McCain – Take Two, points out the shell game that John McCain and the GOP are trying to pull with their politicization of Hurricane Gustav. Please remember that it wasn’t that long ago that McCain was eating cake while New Orleans was drowning. John McCain would like you to forget. You can read the article here:

Link

Have you used the peer-to-peer communications tools yet? The peer-to-peer function is an incredibly powerful and easy to use tool to widely distribute letters and articles to national, regional, and local newspapers. It is as easy as entering your zip code and contact info!

Link

Please cut and paste the featured article into the peer-to-peer tool and send it to your regional and local newspapers. If we all participate, this article can be read by thousands of editors, and may ultimately reach many more readers (and potential voters!).

In addition, you can access other archived articles on The Ghost Writer Guild blog:

Link

Feel free to cut and paste any (or all) of these stories and use the peer-to-peer tool to spread the word that Barack is the right choice for President, and John McCain is the wrong choice.

Please help us get the word out! The pen (or the PC) is mightier than the sword, but only if potential voters read those articles. You can make that happen.

It’s Obama’s pattern..instigate the smears and then go “tisk..tisk..” and blame someone else. The same talking points were being made by too many people for the attacks to have not been coordinated.

What also wants to make me puke are the wing-nuts and the Dobson crowed taking the high road. I Chelsea Clinton had said she was pregnant six months ago, it would have been a bi-partisan trashing of the Clinton’s. They are all f’ing scum.

Rove said the other night on Fox that these tactics (Obama’s) didn’t surprise him…he wasn’t surprised that he used what HE had taught him.

Obama LOVES projection. If he says that McCain is Bush III then you can be certain he says that to deflect the attention off of the fact that HE will be Bush III.

Geez…

He has become fairly transparent. That is, of course unless you want a look at any of his records.

The American people are sick and tired of the politics of the past. People attacking Governor Palin’s daughter are pathetic! And these same people are really underestimating the ability of Governor Palin to connect with America and get things done.

Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin are authentic and the American people like authenticity.

Obama and the Obamabots are afraid. Their actions speak louder than words.

And so will We The People in November!

He had his operatives circulate this, only to later repudiate it as the standard bearer of clean politics. He did the same to the Clintons in South carolina with the race memo, and he will continue to do it.

He will wage one of the most negative campaigns in American history. And Obama should apologize personally to Palin for the behavior of “his” supporters. Besides, we know the Obama opposition researchers are in contact with Sullivan and with an assorted group of Kos writers. Anyone who manages a blog knows writers regularly receive emails from campaign personnel through gmail and yahoo accounts with opposition material.

Comment by s. hall | 2008-09-02 00:27:52

brian — the only way we are going to get any information on Obama is from the 527s. I don’t trust anyone one on the media except for Fox News. 20 months I’ve waited for someone to vet Obama — this is not the news media anymore they are gossips — Obama feeds them garbage and they spew it over the airwaves.

I am sick of the damn polls — the Daily Tracking poll which calls the race dead even — First of all this is not a National vote but a state by state vote — McCain is winning the South and most likely the West. The electoral vote favors the Republicans and Obama might only get the usual Democratic Industrial states. Then the media uses Registered Voters instead of Likely Voters. When the election day is so near likely voters are what matters.

Also it appears that McCain will receive 28% of Hillary voters — Democrats cannot win without all their voters (no matter what Brazile says to the contrary) and Obama is the most hated Democrat in my lifetime.

We need to gear up for the onslaught of filth which will come from Obama’s Campaign but remember that McCain is leading where it counts. He has more Republicans on his side than Obama has Democrats–he is getting the Independents and us Hillary Dems. He is in good shape. I fear election theft — but Republicans want to win and they will be on the lookout.

Time to throw some cold water on old Biden:

Deferments, asthma kept Biden out of Vietnam

DOVER, Del. – Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden received five student draft deferments during the Vietnam War, the same number of deferments received by Vice President Dick Cheney, and later was disqualified from service because of asthma as a teenager.

Officials with Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama’s campaign released Biden’s Selective Service records at the request of The Associated Press. Less detailed records were available from a National Archives facility in Philadelphia.

According to the documents, Biden, 65, received several deferments while he was an undergraduate at the University of Delaware and later as a law student at Syracuse University. A month after undergoing a physical exam in April 1968, Biden received a Selective Service classification of 1-Y, meaning he was available for service only in the event of national emergency.

“As a result of a physical exam on April 5, 1968, Joe Biden was classified 1-Y and disqualified from service because of asthma as a teenager,” said David Wade, a campaign spokesman.

In “Promises to Keep,” a memoir that was published last year and became an instant best-seller after he was tapped as Obama’s running mate, Biden never mentions his asthma, recounting an active childhood, work as a lifeguard and football exploits in high school.

I always knew Biden was a draft dodger.

Comment by Zeke | 2008-09-02 00:14:31

Honestly,
If you were to ask someone you knew who was draft-able at that time, I bet they’d tell you about someone they knew who had easily dodged the draft and done it “legally” to boot.
I enlisted during that time, (sue me) but remember a couple buddies who used different means to dodge the selective service. I can find plenty to dislike about him without fishing in that pond.
If you got “caught in the draft,” you were probably asleep at the wheel. This doesn’t negate the fickle finger of fate effect which catches folks no matter what, but, the guys I served with who were draftees did stuff like drop out of college when they had a deferment or got popped for dope or something equally stupid.
Anyhow, the list of guys who slipped that loop is long and filled with many notables. Bill, GW, Hairplugs… who gives a shit anymore.
They weren’t ready to fight then and I still am today.
I like me better…

I do hope it does in more ways than one, I love freedom of speech but I hate slander/libel and would love to see a class action suit against the O campaign for defaming with malicious intent, because that is what it is. It is a site paid for with donations to promote what appears to be at this point libel. There is a web master and they are hired by the campaign. Internet law states the provider, the owner and the bloggers are all responsible for what they post, it gets hairer when messing with copyright/trademark infringement(like photo shopping peoples faces onto bodies). There needs to be a disclaimer or a tos, and there is none on the O site. When you agree to be a member is a standard agreement to which the owner of the site is responsible for and held to, as well as individual bloggers.

Here we are not affiliated with a campaign and Larry does not endorse, so we have a greater freedom. Also clearly stated is it is a blog of opinion. There is a big difference in the responsibility a blog being paid for by donation to a campaign has and one that is not dedicated.

I turned on CNN tonight for the first time in months to see what was happening with the republican conevention and what were they doing? They had over a 5 minute clip of Obama making comments about Hurricane Gustav (nothing about McCain’s hands on efforts on the scene) and then they went on to discuss Palin’s daughter’s pregnancy. Everyone on the “best political team” NOT had to give his two cents worth on the issue. Needless to say I was once again confirmed to turn them off. CNN is the most “biased political team” on television. They are a disgrace to their schools of journalism.

Comment by Heather | 2008-09-01 23:42:50

I had a similar experience today. Tuned them in purely for hurricane news (you know, Anderson Cooper blown around by high winds) and instead happened onto a pathetic attempt at a hatchet job by Campbell Brown against Tucker Bounds (McCain spokesman). It was the most rude and aggressive attack I’ve ever seen Brown do, and it was all against Palin’s supposed inexperience (lus throwing in stuff about the pregnancy). It was disgusting. She was really aggressive, and the contrast with oohing and ahhing she gives Obama supporters was stark. I wrote my umpteenth letter of complaint to CNN. Somehow … I don’t think they care about my opinion.

Comment by Boxer Mum 06 | 2008-09-02 09:19:43

This is big and for the media to intimate that PUMA doesn’t exist is shocking but not unexpected.

Loads and loads of detailed stories (from PUMAs and PUMA sympathizers) telling about all the crap that went on in the caucuses, primaries, RBC, roll call, media, blogs, barky campaign – all the fraud, all the lies, all the misogyny, all the bias, etc. etc.

Here goes “I DON1T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK I`M TALKING ABOUT BIDEN”.

Biden talking about Barack Obama in his beloved Scranton had this to say:

“I promise you, my word as a Biden. If Barack grew up in our neighborhood like he did in Kansas being raised by his grandparents, if he grew up here being raised by his grandparents, he’d have been our friend. He’d cover your back,” Biden said. “If I come back up here after this election and find you didn’t vote for him, you’re gonna have me to answer to on Demick Avenue, OK?” Fox

Turns out these days Biden’s word aint worth diddly squat. Barack Obama didn’t grow up in Kansas…although the campaign would love America to think he did.

As even the most casual of Obama students knows, Obama grew up in Hawaii and Indonesia.

Comment by Hope Floats | 2008-09-01 22:59:33

The story was so outlandish and cobbled together, and yet the BO people got all these bloggers to repeat their idiocy all over the web as valid proof. It was like the whole BO camp lost its collective grip on reality over the weekend. They caused BO to lose credibility in the eye of the public by association.

I am so sick of Campbell Brown. I could not believe her vicious attack against McCain spokesman, Tucker Bounds, regarding Sarah Palen’s experience. Campbell Brown is a cheap pseudo-pundit totally in the tank for Obama, whose continuing interruptions of Tucker made her look like the classless jerk she is.

I am a Hillary fan who will definitely vote McCain/Palen, and I’m sure others will follow, especially in the wake of the demeaning and sexist treatment of Sarah Palen. Enough is Enough!!!

MERCY, this just gets worse and worse. I am not worried that honest voters will vote for McCain/Palin at this juncture after all the fraudulent activity with the DNC and selective nominee, but what REALLY SCARES THE HELL OUT OF ME,
is the fact that NO ONE seems to be investigating the voter fraud that has circulated around the net during the primary which means, IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO WE VOTE FOR, it already is rigged to go OBAMA’s way no matter what. THAT IS WHAT WE SHOULD BE CONCENTRATING ON, SECURING THE POLLING PLACES AND VOTE TABULATION BACK UP SYSTEM TO INSURE CORRECT TALLYING.

For 2 years progressives were complaining about voting machines, and now for the last 6 months … as we approach potentially the most important election of the century … they have fallen strangely silent.

When is the last time you read a article about voting machine concerns?

Comment by SueB. | 2008-09-02 00:04:38

Of course it doesn’t matter who you vote for.
70% of Dem voters voted for Hillary in my state.
Roll call? 32 for BOBO, 8 for Hillary.
No need to mention Michigan voters being robbed of their votes. Remind me again why I bothered to vote?

Comment by Crystal | 2008-09-02 00:24:48

I live in Arkansas. BO got less than 27% of the vote. He got all the delegates. Why would I give the democrats another vote this year? They threw the first one away.

Comment by brodie | 2008-09-02 10:39:08

The theft in Arkansas is all the more egregious with the murder of the Party Chair thrown in. So, let’s say the two events were not connected- what a hell of a way to treat the State’s voters and Mrs. Gwatney in such a time of tragedy. It shows a shocking lack of empathy AT THE VERY LEAST. We are not amused.

Did anyone else notice her outfits while attending the DNC?

There was one shot where she is sitting in her skirt with her flippy sandals on and her feet (btw, she appears to have very big feet) in the shot flipping up and down her sandal.

This was very attractive – it’s taking the Katie Couric showing the legs on the Today show to a whole new level.

And from that, I would have to assume that the campaign knows as well because they do actually listen to us, hence Palin as we have also been pushing for her for awhile. We at least wanted her vetted a while back. We hoped against hope and were surprised when she was announced as we had been led to believe it would be Pawlenty. Breathing down the neck of precinct captains. So concerned they would be ripped off for votes. “Me thinks thou protest too much.” We simply must stop the Obamatrons from taking this election. I never thought I be rooting for the Republicans.

I’m worried about their “voter registration” drive. I hope the polling places are prepared for an onslaught of “new voters” who try to bully their way past the procedures of signing in etc. I also worry about fraudulent absentee ballots too.

Comment by Miss H | 2008-09-02 00:37:09

I heard that you can still register to vote in the 2008 Presidential election in Ohio, so I innocently entered the following phrase into a major search engine, “How do I register to vote in Ohio” Guess which site I was referred to first? A website that innocently states “Have You Registered to Vote In Your County? Don’t Wait— Register Today…Ohio.VoteForChange.com” I clicked on the link and “Surprise, Surprise” this is what I got:

https://voteforchange.com/?source=sem-fo-yahoo-oh-1-search-rtv-local

an Obama website that offered to sign me right up. I wonder how many people used this link rather than a site where you can register to vote for either candidate in Ohio.

http://www.presidentialelection.com/register_to_vote/ohio.htm

Also check out this link, Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, a Democrat stated: ” “Just look at what’s happened in Iowa and New Hampshire with the presidential primaries there,” Ms. Brunner said. “Some of the presidential candidates are bringing new voters to the process, and they could swell voter turnouts here to 80 percent. We want to have the most trustworthy, secure voting system in place for an election of this magnitude.”

http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080115/NEWS24/801150330

Just as the caucus votes were rigged and fraudulent in Obama’s favor and did not reflect the popular vote in 14 out of 15 states, watch Ohio, with its massive sign-up of new voters right before the Nov. 4th Presidential election and just in case they are needed, the all new voting machines. Poll watchers beware and you still may not be able to stop the fraud.

Who is running McCains campign ???

Lets review the days events …

McCain cancels all politcal speeches at convention out of respect for Hurricane victims.

The messiahs henchmen go into overdrive spreading vile rumors about Palin, her daughter, and baby on internet.

The messiah says to lay off Palin. (wink-wink)

The messiah is hailed by the media for standing up for Palin.

The media then begins to really slice and dice Palin.

The republican surrogates going on TV all join in with the media on praising the messiah for standing up for Palin.

The evening ends with the messiah on Anderson Cooper belittling Palins experince compared to his.

Not one single sighting of McCain or Palin and this was the first day of the Republican convention.

No real strong defense of Palin by the GOP.

The strongest defense of Palin that the average person saw, was given by Obama, even if it was done with a (wink-wink)

What the hell were the people running McCains campaign thinking today ?

I hope they step it up, or the messiah could easily get a bigger bump out oof the Republican convention, than he got out of the democratic convention.

Comment by s. hall | 2008-09-01 23:15:38

Comment by Jeremiah God Damn Amerikkka Wright | 2008-09-01 23:16:12

McCain campaign was watching the hurricane to determine their response.

They said they were putting all partison stuff aside until they had a good handle of what Gustav was going to do.

Now that Gustav has turned out to be pretty mild and is dissipating over the landmass, the concern is going to to be less pressing assuming flooding is not an issue.

McCain, unlike Obama is actually concerned about the american people and when he said he would not engage in party politiking while they dealt with this potential national disaster, he meant it.

Meanwhile Obama and his band of ass monkeys were up to the same old dirty politics and smear mongering.

Now tell me, who do you want running this country?

Larry, why do you suggest that the Obama campaign has seen a drop in internal polling? I am sure they were aware of this story, and I am willing to bet that someone associated with the campaign in some loose way pshed the story to daily kos (just seems like too much of an incident that they are claiming bristol really gave birth to trig, and then then she turns out to be actually pregnant)…but I don’t think this information has had enough time to sink into the public consciousness, and I think McCain will take a hit primarily because the media is being so viscious. Never mind the fact that they never even bothered to vet Obama.

The other thing that surprises me is how soft McCain’s campaign has been hitting back against the anti-Palin sentiment in the media. The media seems disgusted with Palin, just as they seemed disgusted with Bill and Hillary Clinton. If the McCain campaign wants to beat them, they will have to gangbusters and ramp up their defense against the media…they have been going so soft and they aren’t putting palin out there at all, which seems like a bad idea, and I think if they continue like this, obama will win in a landslide!

If there is a Whitey tape, next week would be a real good time to bust it out…

I guess I feel sorry for Palin and I say this as someone who won’t vote for the Republican ticket, or the Dem ticket, this year.

I got this from savagepolitics and unfortunately can’t think of who wrote and researched it, and did check out the links because of them. But it seems that maybe Palin has more security clearance than Obama and more national security credentials. I don’t know if you guys had posted it before, but, to me, it does explain as to why the Obama camp is so worried.

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. It’s on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.
As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden’s.
She’s also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Security’s counterterrorism plans.
Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country’s defense. Given Alaska’s proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don’t even know about.
According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to keeping secrets.
She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.
In other words, her security clearance and experience in these matters exceeds even Mr. Biden’s, who parades himself as a “National Security Expert”. Of course, this by far surpasses Mr. Obama, who can only find out about National Security matters by watching CNN and/or by Googling the pertinent terms on his laptop.

Comment by MaggiefromMichigan | 2008-09-01 23:24:50

I was listening to Talk Radio when they were discussing Metropolitan elitism. This is partially what’s being leveled at Governor Palin and her state of Alaska. This is when someone thinks they’re superior to (and looks down on) citizens who live in rural areas. The video by “what’s his name” seems to include Metropolitan elitism as well as outright racism. Personally I’m pleased that Governor Palin is from a more rural setting where people are down to earth and honest.

Race and ancestry

Multiracial/Mixed-Race people are the third largest group of people in the state, totaling 6.9% of the population or 44,426. The largest ancestry groups in the state are: German (16.6%), Alaska Native or American Indian (15.6%), Irish (10.8%), British (9.6%), American (5.7%), and Norwegian (4.2%). Alaska has the largest percentage of American Indians of any state.

The vast, sparsely populated regions of northern and western Alaska are primarily inhabited by Alaska Natives, who are also numerous in the southeast. Anchorage, Fairbanks, and other parts of south-central and southeast Alaska have many whites of northern and western European ancestry. The Wrangell-Petersburg area has many residents of Scandinavian ancestry and the Aleutians contain a large Filipino population. The vast majority of the state’s black population lives in Anchorage and Fairbanks.Demographics of Alaska (csv)

If the media appears to “gang up” on her, it may backfire. Which could be the point. One of the mantras of the “right” is the left-wing bias. What could be more biased than ganging up on one your candidates?

I’ve said for a while that the lack of criticism of Obama by the media may be deliberate, and not necessarily because they are in the tank for him. To create a celebrity and hoist him to the clouds, then suddenly chop his legs out from under him and gossip about him as he falls.

Then again, the MSM lied the American people into the Iraq disaster and they may be doing to same and leading the American people into a Presidential disaster.

JM08 — I’ve seen other media firestorms like this — the media doesn’t stop until they destroy this woman or make McCain drop her from the ticket and if he does the media and Obama call him weak and say that he can’t make the hard decisions. I think McCain should ride this out. The right is on his side and as long as he has their support he should ignore this. Perhaps McCain was purposely out of the picture today to let this blow over. The way these things work is if you answer the media then your answer becomes part of the attack to be chewed over by the punditry.

By staying away McCain and Palin have not added to this story and the American people are furious with the media and Obama–so they may be forced to drop this.

let them get out from the Gustav issue. You will see major kick back once the MSM has made it abundantly clear to everyone how in the tank they are for Obama in helping him smear while keeping his lilly never worked a day in his life or the people hands clean.

Don’t worry, the attacks on Obama are going to hit starting 1 week after the republican convention and build to a frenzy by the end of october.

He is toast…but all in good time.

Hillary won a lot of primaries after March and she got most of the votes.

The corrupt DNC was forced to disenfranchise Michigan and Florida and blatantly fix the delegate count for him to win. (Hence all the calls for her to withdraw earlier so they wouldn’t have to expose their dirty deeds to us.)

But my point is, in spite of all this and the overwhelming media bias, the public saw through it and voted for her.

McCain and Palin can beat Obama. They have to.

The more they try to tear her down, the better she is going to look when she proves them all wrong. All that really matters is the last couple weeks before the election.

Soros is using our own laws against us. If he can get from each of us $3,300 in, over the years, our taxes to go to his owned fake groups like ACORN (He was the one who spilled the beans to get rid of the founder, in order to take it over.) he will make one trillion dollars.

He will be the richest person in the world. He wants what Haliburtan has. Obama is his pupet. He helped create the war in Georgia to make money for himself. He will continue to suck in our kids.

Unless we stop him.

Which means we have to stop Obama and ACORN!

Biden appearing on The Daily Show, August 2, 2005: “John McCain is a personal friend, a great friend, and I would be honored to run with or against John McCain, because I think the country would be better off, be well off no matter who…”

On Meet the Press, November 27, 2005: “I’ve been calling for more troops for over two years, along with John McCain and others subsequent to my saying that.”

If an publisher of fiction received a writers synopses of the Obama & Axlerod smear campaign — it would be rejected as too far out to be remotely believed. There are so many more revelant scandals the media could be talking about regarding Obama, but they just ignore them, the same way they ignored them when he ran against Hillary.

But they have no problem attacking a pregneant teen age girl and a downs syndrom baby, because that benefits the messiah.

I get the feeling the media wont be happy until this poor girl has a total mental breakdown, or kills herself. I hope they are keeping her secluded away from all TV and internet.

McCain cant win taking the high road, because the media is just too much in the tank for Obama. The media will define everything in a favorable light for Obama, and I just dont know if McCain has it in him to fight. It seems he made his mind up to run a moral campaign, which is admirable, but being admirable doesnt win elections, ecspecially when you are running against somebody as ruthless as Axelrod/Obama.

In my opinion McCain could lose the election tommorrow. He cant drop Palin from the ticket, because if he did then his base would desert him. But the media has just about defined her beyond repair. If the Republicans dont push back hard tommorrow, and instead McCain just orders his campaign to be “americans” then it will just be another 24 hours of her being brutalized by the media and the scum at Daily Kos and other hate sites.

The GOP is putting a brave face on things for now, but folks are flipping out about Palin behind the scenes. Odds she gets the official VP nod? My guess is 50/50.

It’s going to be very interesting to watch the convention this week and see how things unfold.

Of course, McCain/Palin may still wind up being a strong enough ticket to beat Obama/Biden. But I wouldn’t bet the mortgage on it. There’s a good chance that the ticket won’t attract a significant chunk of the Independent vote, and early signs are that disaffected Clinton supporters aren’t warming up to the choice in the numbers McCain hoped for.

But it’s still early — lots of campaigning to do.

Having said that, the daughter’s pregnancy is none of our business. I hope the media drops this story quickly.

Comment by Peggy Sue | 2008-09-02 00:53:05

That video is horrendous. He’s not even making sense but proving: this is your brain on drugs.

As far as the rumors on Palin, I think it’s absolutely deliberate. Doesn’t matter if the stories are true or not, anymore than the rotten things they spread about Hillary Clinton. I read an ominous line earlier today, prefaced by a remark that this is political/psychologial warfare:

Rumor is Truth.

You throw whatever dirt you have and figure some of it [blatant lie or not] is going to stick in people’s consciousness and affect the way they judge the object of the smear. You keep piling it on and some people will think: well, if all these stories are out there, maybe some of it “is” true, maybe . . .

The MSM is the echo chamber. They’re so totally in the tank for this Obama BS, they gleefully spread additional layers of half-truth and innuendo.

It’s sickening. And we, of course, are the sheep they wish to control [until November 4th, that is, then we can all take a hike].

I’m beginning to wonder why I was ever a Democrat.

Obama said his mother was a single parent. So who cares about Palin’s daughter?

Obama said to stop the attacks. Which ones? The ones against Palin’s infant son? Her 17 y/o daughter?

Obama has not said he contacted, personally, any press or bloggers staging the attacks. One word from him, and we know how much his paid bloggers and the MSM/Corporate media love him, this stuff would stop.

Pick up the phone Senator Obama. Or will this be a FISA redux and a Chicago Housing redux? Lotta promises but no action.

Yes, we must continue to do what we are doing, posting everything we can to educate those voters on the fraud and manipulation of the Obama campaign, and yes I agree we must post names of those detestable sights that are similiar to the DK blogs, and continue to post all those nansty comments against Palin, fox, and all the worthy newsman who will go out and investigate the voter fraud done by Acorn and move.org, and I think go after those who such as Dean and who ever else in charge of the Acorn and Moveon .org projects, with jail time, for voter fraud., and yes the Republican party must have representatives a the locations or atleaset have supervision , because of the bullying that will go on, even if it calls for the City to have more than a hand few of supervisors, to make sure they are all Id and are in the and definietly look into the absent ballots, because with all these voting fraud signatures, they just have to be mailed in , I say they should have an id, and a finger print signature, to be verified, I know here in Texas they do fingerprint you when you get your id , and drivers liscense, so it may be different in other states, but that way absentee ballots will have proof of signature too, and do random matches, might be too late to start that one, but they can definietly discuss supervision of polls.
And I am glad someone is paying attention to us Puma, we are working hard to let every one know what the O campaign is up too, lets make sure we watch and read those sights and send them over to worthy newsmedia to get everyone concerned on what is going on, because we will not tolerate the sexism again in this race, the Dem, did not stand up for Hillary so now we must make it loud and clear, cant talk politics and record, shut the hell up.
One vote one voice, NObama, I own my vote and will not help O become president, a stay home vote, a fall in line vote, a no vote, and sign in vote for Hillary will be a vote for O and the Dnc, No thank you, voting McCain and Palin, and will do what i need to do to get the word out.,,Country before Party. luvs Palin, great pick.and im a democrat well soon we allhope hillary the best, but we will not help those dogs attacking Palin, and degrading her record., as they did Hillary shame on them Nobama ever.

It might be helpful for many posters here to start reading some of the Alaska blogs. Palin’s inexplicable behavior, as described by Palin herself, on the day she delivered her son Trig is what started the rumor blogs regarding her daughter. There were rumors in Wasilla prior to Palin’s nomination, that the young daughter was pregnant as she hadn’t attended school for months with the explanation that she had mono. Then we have Palin describing how her amniotic fluid started leaking the morning she was in Texas to give an energy speech during the 8th month of her pregnancy. (A pregnancy already considered high risk as she was 44 and would be delivering a child with Down’s Syndrome.) She chose to stay and give the speech, then take an 8 hr plane ride home, then by-pass the facilities in Anchorage that have premi units, to go to an isolated country hospital and deliver 2 hours later. I mean, what kind of behavior is this for the governor of Alaska, for heaven’s sake. Regardless of how you feel about Obama, most reasonable people will concede that Palin is a little too wierd to be the back-up for a 72 yr old not in the best of health. It seems like Palin thinks people will be impressed by her spunk or something when in reality she put her baby at incredible risk. Having “small” contractions and leaking fluid for over 20+ hours and not seeing a doctor? With a high risk pregnancy and her 5th child? A governor???

Hey Barack, your family members aren’t without their oddities either. Your atheist mom is believed to be the only Christian-born white woman in American history to have married both a black Muslim and an Asian Muslim.

And your bigamist dad was a Muslim goatherd who lost his legs in a drunken car accident, having them replaced with crude iron legs. But he still kept drinking and driving somehow and ended up dying in his next wreck.

Now those are facts — unlike the Down syndrome baby scheme your minions on dailykos were touting.

Well, P Diddy is right that the states like Alaska, Vermont, and Wyoming with the lowest percentages of blacks have the lowest murder rates even though most of the very white states have little in the way of gun control.

Cities like DC, Barack’s Chicago, and Detroit on the other hand have gun restrictions and skyhigh murder rates.

“Black policies, we the future.”

What the hell are black policies? Must be the Black Liberation Theology. If all of these racists are interested in living with black people then why don’t they move to Africa where it is almost 100% black?

The politicians always say the best days for US is the future. Does anyone really believe that anymore? The immergence of the Obama party will be the begging of a downward spiral toward the US becoming a third world nation in the future. The US will destroy itself from within which will allow it to become overtaken by a foreign power in the future.

P Diddy?? Get a name and while you’re at it get off the juice because you make no sense.

Obama allowed Palin and her daughter’s preganancy to be a target for his screaming psycho minions to get some negative numbers for McCain. He then thought he would be clever and act like he was being dismissive. Or perhaps afterwards he realy did believe it was stupid because of how many black girls have illegitimate babies and then go on welfare. That would be rather hypocritical wouldn’t it Barack?? At least Bristol Palin has parents behind her and she is marrying the father. At least she knows the father, knows where he is and he is willing to take responsibility. That’s a hell of a lot more than I can say for many pregnant teenagers.

Diddy and R Kelly could have played live for BO. I wonder WHY he didn’t ask them to? lol.

Oh yeah, because that whole silly dog and pony show was put on for American viewers, and most of us don’t appreciate gangsta rap.

P Diddy should have been had the key note speech. He could have really let the American people know what BO is all about….he’s just such a gifted speaker, as demonstrated here. :)

Obama just gets rid of people through corrupt tactics.

I can safely say I will never vote Democrat again. There will have to be a real change in the party with the likes of Pelosi, Obama, and friends gone.

I am actually sick at my stomach – I hate what has been done to Hillary Clinton and now Sarah Palin. No one lessoned about the sexism. Their attacks on Sarah actually were more vicious than toward Hillary.

Now, the polls are reflecting Obama’s greateds percentage in the lead. What is wrong? How could our country have come to this?

I wish, if the Republicans are holding anything on him they would unleash it on the SOB. I can’t stand to hear his voice or see him

CNN obsessively had him on the news about the hurricane. Yet. McCain and Palin flew down there. Obama refused to go.

I can’t stand this much longer – I am beginning to think I want to leave this country if Obama becomes President.

Thanks Larry,
I would have preferred that this young woman’s situation were not “page one”, but now that it is, in my opinion there are THOUSANDS of issues that COULD receive EQUAL coverage!!!!
If the Republicans want to “VET” the “O” now, they should use the same tactics…anyone is fair game!!!!

Thank you for some compassion and sanity on this issue, which should be a non-issue.

By the end of this election, Obama will be voted down, races relations in America will hit the lowest point since Bill Clintion improved race relationship during his administration. Most people are now beginning to see that Obama is not for the good of America. Obama is out for himself. Obama is now attacking babies… unbelievable.

I think Barack Hussein Obama plays a smooth game. He tells his people to go out and dig up the worst information they can, report it, and then he (like the good guy) denounces what they say or do. But, the trick is – the info is out there.

I am pleased Senator Obama came out and said hands-off Briston Palin. I think he was sincere in his remarks – He still does not get my vote but I was pleased he did the right thing.

[...] Barack May Want to Tell His Friends to Stop Bugging (by Larry Johnson) When the November election rolls around here is what will resonate for voters weighing the differences between Palin and Obama–Sarah Palin fought the corrupt elements of their party and her husband resigned a profitable job to avoid the perception that he was getting favors for his company by sleeping with the Governor while Barack Obama aligned himself with demonstrably corrupt politicians and businessmen (Rezko anyone?) in order to get ahead. And his wife? She jumped on the Chicago gravy train too. How can Obama call himself the new politics if he represents the Chicago machine? [...]

The MSM should focus more on who OBAMA gets in bed with, and less with who Palin’s daughter does.

Attacking anyone for having a relative who has a problem (pregnancy, drinking, gambling, criminal behavior, mental issues, etc.) is a losing proposition. Everyone in the U.S.A. has family problems and skeletons in the closet! The flaming liberals over at the MSM and the DNC are such hypocrites. Defending Bill Clinton’s behavior as POTUS, but it’s OK to defame a candidate based on a relative’s “mistake.” How many folks in America have dealt with unwanted pregancies? Millions. They will be disgusted with these vile attacks from the suddenly sanctimonious far left.

Has the Obama campaign any memory as to why George Bush Senior lost re-election?

A lot of centrist Republicans were horrified to see the extreme right wing take over their party platform.

Now we have the extreme left wing — which is just as rapid and hateful — taking over Democratic party.

There will be many centrist Democrats jumping ship.

When Donna Brazile — a party leader — continues to say a 17 year old is fair game, it’s hard to beleive that Obama really wants his camp to pull back.

He IS the DNC leader now — yet if Brazile is ignoring his stand on this issue we all know they’re platying good cop – bad cop.

No one is fooled.

I guess this is swiftboating democrat style. Republicans, get used to it. You all started it.

Obama hits 51%!! The dems can thank the Maverick/MILF for their rising poll numbers. Frank Luntz’s focus groups don’t like Palin, call her a gimmick and say McCain’s lost their vote! It’s Christmas time for the Democrats. But Bristol isn’t enough. PEOPLe magazine has interviewed 2 women Todd Palin had affairs with and thwey report very disturbing perverted behavior. The info’s in the Obama camps hands now and they want to save it for the end of October but we’ve been begging them to put it out soon. This will be the nail in the Abstinence mommas coffin! Can you say scatology!!! I love digging up dirt, and this moronic McCain has just made me rich!
