I am a lesbian, and find Andrew Sullivan a piece of pond scum and not representative of the vast majority of gay men. However, he is indicative of a stereotype of gay man from 60 years ago. The kind of gay guy who was completely taken in by an “authoritarian daddy”, ie Hitler, until men like Sullivan found themselves on the short end.

Sullivan is like a Roy Cohen. He happens to be a man who fucks men, but sees himself as something removed and special from the larger population. Below is a copy of the article from The Nation magazine (2001) discussing Andrew Sullivan’s sanctimonious hypocrisy.

Taylor did a 180 BEFORE HILLARY EVEN SUSPENDED HER CAMPAIGN. Some true “blue” supporter she turned out to be. Claims she did it to be a good Dem. but the bottom line is…she did it BEFORE Hillary suspended her campaign…kind of reminds one of NARAL doesn’t it.?

I visited there Friday after months of boycotting and it was a pretty sickening place but some PUMAS fighting back… I won’t go back b/c I don’t want to credit her site with even one more hit than it deserves.

A lot of BS talk there – trashing Palin and her inexperience. I loved reminding Taylor that SHE was the one who led the campaign during the primaries discussing Obama’s total lack of experience in ANYTHING (except corruption) and then told her to do the math:

OBAMA:
7 YEARS STATE SENATOR @ 55 days a yr. 385 Days
U.S. SENATOR 143 Days
(Days in office b/f run for PRESIDENT)TOTAL………………………………..528 Days

PALIN:
1 1/2 YEARS STATE GOVERNOR…………….547 Days
(Job is 24 hrs. 7 days a week Exec. Exp.)

This does not even account for Palin’s 2 terms as a Mayor or her job as Chair of the prominent Alaska Oil and Gas Commission in which she also served as Ethics Supervisor.

Sullivan embarrasses me as a gay man. For the record, most gay men do not suffer from pathological misogyny like Andrew Sullivan. We do not become gay because we are afraid of women like Andrew Sullivan is. Most gay men I know have relatively healthy attitudes towards women. Sullivan’s sickness is his own, and has nothing to do with us.

Andrew Sullivan’s problem — he wants to have Obama’s baby and that can never happen. Therefore he lashes out with burning mental disease and suffers from perverted delusions about the Palin family, as he hates all mothers who have successfully borne children. It’s also possible that Andrew Sullivan has late-stage neurosyphillis (with half-inch spirochetes squirming around in his brain).

All gay men should band together and give Andrew Sullivan a ‘golden shower’ of sulfuric acid. Yes, Sullivan will enjoy it to the last fizzle, but after he dissolves and disappears forever, the world will be better off — and smell better, too.

Oh dear friend, though we agree on Rove’s trecherous and deceitful ways, please let us not put him on the same level as master Sun.

Rove has maybe 30% the mental skill of master Sun. While he has mastered the art over the Democrats, his trickery is managed well if you will simply take note of what he says.

The problem isn’t Karl Rove, but the Pelosi wing of the Democratic Party. Rove couldn’t do what he’s doing if there were real accountability.
