Palin had the choice of whether to have the baby or not, and her status and affluence make the choice to have the child an easier one; but she would take away that choice from other women who are not so fortunate. One Democratic Senator voted and he voted with the Republicans. It was Tom Harkin who is a pro-choice liberal from Iowa and a former presidential candidate himself.
