I have been told by reliable sources that the parents of the Alaska Guardsman who suffered injustices by Generals kacass and Campbell are just about ready to spring their story. It will be given to the media and other sources of information all over the U.S. There wiil be explicit information about these unethical leaders and how Sarah Palin has allowed them to get away with their mismanagement of the Guard and how they covered for their cronies. This soldier will be VINDICATED!!

Joe hit the nail on the head. These Generals have received their promotions from kissing Sarah Palin’s ass. They are so threatened by a real leader that they run them off and the great Guardsmen of Alaska deserve better. They deserve a leader of integrity and courage.

I agree with The Phantom. They reward the “kiss-asses” and retaliate against “hard asses” who think for themselves because these Generals live in fear that these “hard asses” will outshine them which is what has corrupted many faucets of our government–no balls.

How right you are Elizabeth. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about it there is a corrupt State Government that ignores what goes on in the Guard. Campbell and Kacas can get away with murder. I am a Guardsman and I think we should be watching the Generals Campbell and Kacus more closely than the Governor. They are unethical and are the reason our Guard retention and recruiting level is the lowest in the U.S. They cater to their cronies and pass over the really great Guardsmen. They are neither moral or ethical.

WHAT A TRAVESTY Sarah Palin gives this “ass kissing” rogue another star. Everyone knows the problem with the Guard is him. He forces true leaders out and surrounds himself with people who won’t outshine him. He can’t follow the leadership principles that he likes to hear himself quote because that would require utilizing the best in the Guard. The low numbers are due to his failings. I know all about him from experience. He should be investigated.

Well, they’re the ones who pointed out that the Farsi translations of Ahmadinejad’s “We don’t have gays in Iran” comments over here were NOT INCLUDED on his government website. POOF! He left it in the English translation, but stripped it out of the Farsi version completely.

Their translations are not the issue, really. They DO have a viewpoint and an agenda, and when you go to the site you should be aware of it. It doesn’t discount the site as a source–it is a useful window on the middle east and a decent research tool. If you’re only getting an excerpt of a document, it behooves you to get the entire thing if you suspect bias.

Look, you’ve got three politicians here–one’s a steak dinner, the second one is a peanut butter sandwich, and the third is a soggy bowl of cheap cereal. We’ve been denied our steak dinner for now (and hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy it in four years), so we’re going to have to settle for the peanut butter sandwich–the soggy cereal can go into the disposal, it’s inedible. The peanut butter is nutritious, certainly, it’ll keep us alive, it’s just not as tasty as the steak.

Vote for peanut butter for now, and demand steak in four years!

Weren’t they nannying the crap out of that evolution, not allowing fried foods, skipping balloons because they aren’t easily recyclable, all that happy green crap?

How hard would it have been to put a big box in the foyer and ask people to deposit their flag in it if they didn’t want to take it home as a souvenier? Sheesh–it’s the simple, stupid things that get ‘em every time.
