This is fascinating.

The nucleus of the neocons was formed from Democrat hawks disgruntled by Jackson’s defeat by McGovern in the 68 primaries. Jeane Kirkpatrick is the best female example of that group which comes to mind.

The self-described feminists on this blog passionately supported Hillary Clinton, a Democrat liberal (American Conservative Union (ACU) Lifetime Rating 7.71) against Barry Obama, a Democrat liberal (ACU Lifetime Rating 7.67). They are disgruntled by Obama’s defeat of Clinton in the 2008 primaries.

They now just as passionately support John McCain, a conservative Republican (ACU Lifetime rating 82.1).

The new neocons are being born before our very eyes on the 40 years later to the day..

It’s why I keep coming back. It’s fascinating.

One explanation damaging to the self-esteem is that this has been a false flag operation from the beginning and we all fell for it.

I am finding this site more and more amusing.

The neocons must believe we are all stupid.

The polls also show people know and understand Senator McCain, they aren’t unsure about him. They may disagree with him but feel he’s unlikely to make things worse.

In a tight race, people who aren’t married to a political party, are more likely to choose the candidate they understand, who isn’t going to cost them money and they feel more comfortable with. In this election, Senator McCain is shaping up to be that candidate.

1. UNDIVIDED JERUSALEM AS ISRAEL’S CAPITAL: In a speech before AIPAC Obama said, “Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.” Soon after Obama said that he “tried to correct the interpretation” of that statement. He switched his position saying that “it’s going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues and Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations.”

2. PUBLIC FINANCING: Barack Obama answered a Midwest Democracy Network questionnaire in September 2007 saying that, “If I am the Democratic nominee, I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election.” Obama ended up following the money and opted out of public financing for the general election.

3. IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD: Obama’s campaign has said more recently that the Senator “has consistently urged that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard be labeled what it is: a terrorist organization.” But before this Obama spent months campaigning on his opposition to and his vote against the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment which did just that. (HILLARY SIGNED THE KYL-LIEBERMAN AMENDMENT.)

HILLARY AND MCCAIN SUPPORTED LABELING THE GUARD AS A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. OBAMA VOTED AGAINST THE BILL WHICH LABEL THE IRANIAN REVOLUTIONARY GUARD A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION.

4. TERRI SCHIAVO: In March 2005, just weeks before Terri Schiavo died from a painful 14-day starvation and dehydration death, the Republican Congress approved legislation transferring the case from state courts to federal courts, delaying her death. When her brain was later autopsied, there was almost NO brain tissue left.

But Obama voted along with the Republican Congress, along with pro-life Democrats, to have a court intervene rather than have her husband make a decision regarding her life.

During an April 2007 debate Obama said: “I think professionally the biggest mistake that I made was when I first arrived in the Senate. There was a debate about Terri Schiavo, and a lot of us, including me, left the Senate with a bill that allowed Congress to intrude where it shouldn’t have.”
During a February 2008 debate Obama was asked name a regret and he said he would like to take back his vote authorizing Congress to intervene to save the life of the brain-injured Florida woman Terri Schiavo.

HILLARY AND MCCAIN VOTED AGAINST THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS IN MARCH 2005, WHILE OBAMA SUPPORTED THEM.

Alcoholism is a very serious problem in Alaska in general. A far greater problem than in other states. Many Alaskan communities have attempted to deal with the worsening problem by outlawing the sale of alcohol altogether. I suppose that would include Anheuser-Busch products…

American women, in a matter of days, will see their ability to get a safe, legal abortion diminish considerably in large parts of the country. This isn’t a future scare scenario — this is happening today. Already. And you cretins are going to vote for another Republican because Barack Obama didn’t wear a flag pin, or whatever idiotic, meaningless triviality catches your attention and gives you the public excuse you need to reject the guy you were going to reject anyway. And you’ll do it all in the name of feminism, or “combating sexism,” or whatever idiotic name you choose to put on a vote that will take women backward by a generation if it succeeds.

Please go read that article. And try to imagine why I feel sick at the idea of Democrats voting Republican in the name of women and HRC. What a sick joke.

It also contained links that showed that in the last two elections, it was the Republicans who did all the rigging–by illegally disqualifying registered voters in minority precincts, as well as the former head of Diebold (the maker of the nation’s electronic voting machines) promising to deliver Ohio’s votes to President Bush.

I can’t understand why my post was deleted, especially when I cited the newspaper articles I took my information from–oh wait.
Maybe that was my problem. I used actual sources instead of opinion blogs and stump speeches. Silly me! What was I thinking? Doing research…*shakes head*…(when will I learn?)
