Two things. First, is there an actual list of the recipients of grant money from CAC? What specific organizations got the money and what were their ties to Ayers, Dhorn, Obama or a member of Obama’s extended family. Since Ayers sought and got the grant for the group ,I’d expect to find his fingerprints all over some of the “funded” organizations.

I know you point out that the money didn’t go directly to school but, rather, to third parties. Who were they? It’s a 501(c)(3) I imagine, receiving tax-exempt status. It’s records should be open. Has this been published somewhere (this thread) and I’ve missed it? Any link would be appreciated. It goes to the question: Not only whether or not Obama and Ayers knew/worked together (on CAC) but, what did they do? Who did they support with the $160 Million (or whatever the correct number is; I’d understood it was $50MM that was matched, making it $100MM, but whatever the correct number is, where did the money go?_

I’d be shocked if Ayers Obama do not go back in time to New York, early-mid 80’s. And, there is no doubt in my mind that Obama had to know who Ayers and Dhorn were (she was the worse of the two, supposedly, by the way). Ayers and Dhorn, two of the most sought after domestic terrorists of all time, came “out” from the underground in 1980 and turned themselves in. Ayers subsequently enrolled in Banks College, which is virtually adjacent to Columbia on Broadway & 112th Streets in Manhattan. Ayers received a MEd degree in 1984 from Banks. Obama graduated from Columbia in 1984 and stayed in New York. In the early 1980’s, to not know who Ayers and Dhorn were stretches all credibility, particularly for one as “active” as was Obama. Ayers then went on to receive a second degree from Columbia itself, the Teachers’ college (1987). That college is located on the other side of Columbia campus from Banks college.

Ayers, a notorious domestic terrorist, surfaces in New York City, amidst extensive media coverage, with is wife, and turns himself in. Then followed the media coverage of their charges and the decision related to the wiretaps which eventually tainted the government’s case and prevented the government from trying them. No, they were not “cleared” as has been suggested. Anything but. Quote Bill Ayers, “Guilty as hell, free at last.”

And, in this time period, Ayers enrolls in a school next door to Columbia, moves in and around that neighborhood, enrolls at Columbia and receives another degree, all the while that Obama is attending Columbia and organizing/working in New York City. And Obama never heard of him until he met him, coincidentally, in Chicago years later? Nobody mentioned who Ayers/Dhorn were to Obama when this unknown person hosted a campaign event for Obama?

Ridiculous.

Point. I expect they first knew each other in the mid-80’s in Chicago, somehow through the Columbia / Banks College connection. Which only makes me more curious about what’s in Obama’s Columbia University records that he refuses to release.

That’s it: (a) the Annenberg money trail and (b) the Columbia University records.

No idea how to get the second. But, the first, someone has probably tracked down, Yes?

Clinton commuted the sentence of Susan Rosenberg who served 16 years for weapons and dynamite distribution, she denied a part in the Brinks job yet was widely linked to it, I think it was unfounded at the trial and she wasn’t tried for the brinks case or other robberies.

You can google why Bill commuted it, it had something to do with her being denied parole after she had served a long time for the only thing which she was convicted.

Bill (and all the other presidents) have had long lists of pardons. Nothing unusual. Barky used it as smoke and mirrors just as he used the picture of Wright at a White House luncheon for hundreds of pastors as deflection. Also, there was even a standard photo op WH pic of Clinton’s with Rezko.

It is barky who is associated with Ayers and barky with Wright and barky with Rezko and all of them were in long term contact.

Clinton isn’t the dirty one here, it is all barky.

But I sure do remember those days and it weren’t purdy.

Hence I have always frankly admitted that abortion is murder, the extermination of the powerless by the powerful. Liberals for the most part have shrunk from facing the ethical consequences of their embrace of abortion, which results in the annihilation of concrete individuals and not just clumps of insensate tissue. The state in my view has no authority whatever to intervene in the biological processes of any woman’s body, which nature has implanted there before birth and hence before that woman’s entrance into society and citizenship.

Camille Paglia is certainly capable of lively debate. I agreed very much with her closing comments:

There is plenty of room in modern thought for a pro-life feminism — one in fact that would have far more appeal to third-world cultures where motherhood is still honored and where the Western model of the hard-driving, self-absorbed career woman is less admired.

But the one fundamental precept that Democrats must stand for is independent thought and speech. When they become baying bloodhounds of rigid dogma, Democrats have committed political suicide.

It appears we’re starting to connect the puzzle pieces in how all the nefarious characters in Senator Obama’s background are linked to each other.

In 2001 Ayers said, “I don’t want to discount the possibility”.

So there you have it. He is not only unrepentant, nothing indicates that he is not a present or future terrorist.
