The brilliance and the eloquence of Palin has caught many attention today. Politicians and media people such as Gibson has this difficulty to admit that simple and forgotten folks are much better than those in Washington. Thus their interviews and the questions raised are all oriented to put down a good candidate. Moreover, this media people are too much biased by their own political affiliations. They will put the candidate they dislike to the limit. I think Palin will certainly reign in the futures interviews.

I am with you in all points. She was very careful not to trap in wrong interpretation of the Bush Doctrine. But she is carefully enough in distancing herself from the present administration at the same time holds to the integrity of facts and field intelligent hard judgment as point of reference in taking an action, whether diplomatic or military.

Still, one can appreciate seeing Republicans getting the same mistreatment from the press usually reserved for Democrats.

The Republicans have had a free ride from the media for years. For example, George W. Bush used to have a gay hooker lob softball questions to him at press conferences. And yet the media said nothing. Imagine a Democratic President trying to get away with that!

ABC and Mr. Gibson should be ashamed of this obvious slanted interview. Every question was aimed at tripping Ms. Palin. Even when she answered the question, Mr. Gibson continued with the question, trying to get her to say the words he wanted her to say. I will never listen to Mr. Gibson again without questioning his motive. I do not think he is capable of reporting the non-biased news.

Charles Gibson’s attitude during the interview was Not Acceptable. He came across as a hostile and arrogant. He also was quite confrontational and convinced me that intimidation was part of his agenda.

He should not have been chosen to for this interview ! He also added insult to injury by trying to diminish her experience and political decisions in being a Governor of Alaska.

My choice is now going in her direction!!

I wager you had never heard of the “Bush Doctrine” before the interview. She answered him very well. You will not find two people out of ten who understand what the policy of President Bush intended and the media (Blitzer, etc.) named the “Bush Doctrine”.

I think you would be remiss if you thought you knew what a “small town mayor” is all about. Do not assume it is an easy job. Have YOU ever been a small town mayor? Nope, didn’t think so. You haven’t even been a dog catcher but from your spoutings here, that would be about all you’d be qualified for.

You’re way out of your league, kid, go home.
