Come November these 18 million Hillary-cracks will shatter the DNC ceiling and Donna, Dean and Nancy (the terrible trio!) will be picking up the pieces. As for Obamarama, a cure for Obamyopia’s on the way!

Great vid and Patsy, you should go into politics. Don’t misplace your passion. You’ll make a great congresswoman! And one day…..Sen. Patsy….go for it, gal!

Here’s one. Four years ago I would have been thrilled to witness the meltdown of the Democratic Party. Now my heart breaks for what you all are going through. It goes both ways John. Funny.

Comment by John House | 2008-09-19 18:27:34

And four years ago I hated you for wanting to see the meltdown. I still don’t trust all Republicans, but that would go the same for ANY politician now, Dem or Repub. At the moment I just know what feels right, and supporting the Democratic party just doesn’t feel right to me, so for the moment, you have my help.

And my hunch is that Bill Clinton feels the same way (about the Democrats), but he’s not running for anything; his wife has to keep with this trainwreck lest she be cast out like Joe Lieberman.

Comment by JB | 2008-09-19 18:36:43

John,

I think you will find Republicans more hospitable to the idea of limiting politicians’ power, especially these days. I doubt many would blink at Congressional term limits, and earmarking is big with the conservative base.

America needs to reform Washington. Throw the bums out!

Comment by Stacy The Republican | 2008-09-19 19:12:59

Heck, I don’t trust all Republicans. Politics and prostitution. So very similar.

Comment by jwrjr | 2008-09-19 22:50:07

I vote for the person, not the Party. There are Republicans here (N.C.) that I will vote against (Dole being a main example). I expect to vote for McCain/Palin. The person(s), not the Party.

Comment by Dan | 2008-09-19 18:28:19

There are plenty of rational Democrats out there. The problem is that the party has been taken over by the fruitbat left just as was the case in 1972 with George McGovern. These people need to be purged, and a loss to McCain in November would be the kick-in-the-nuts catalyst that would allow the moderates (i.e. the grown-ups) to reassume control.

Comment by Jess Terr | 2008-09-19 19:02:00

Great video.
The silver lining here is that NObama opened a dialogue between MOST Americans, moderate Democrats and Republicans. Does it suck to be a Democrat? Yes. Does it suck to be an American. NEVER.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/horseraceblog/2008/09/the_state_of_the_race.html

We also see a group of undecided voters who have not yet made a choice. They will probably be decisive. In a race with only two salient candidates – the goal is to hit 50%-plus-one. Both McCain and Obama can still do that via the undecided voters, who are becoming the critical voting block.

Comment by Prican | 2008-09-19 19:39:33

St Petersburg Times most liberal newspaper in Florida and most bias, not credible. Just like NY Times or LA Times.

Comment by Hope Floats! Flush Twice! | 2008-09-19 19:46:58

It’s pretty obvious where the opposition is coming, and I find them more frightening. Sarah Palin has a loving husband and immediate family who help her with childcare. But this mother of five in Florida is overworked, underpaid and by the sound of it has a layabout spouse. She feels the same way as many of these so-called feminists: it’s offensive that a woman can accomplish so much, because it sets the bar too high in their minds. And women should not reach so high. Their job is with their family. This woman comes right out and says it. That’s why I like the new Republican party; they celebrate their strong, smart and ambitious women.

“I’m truly offended by Palin,” said 37-year-old Republican Philinia Lehr of Largo, a full-time mother with a nursing degree who voted for George Bush in 2004. Like Palin, she has five children and she doesn’t buy that the Alaska governor can adequately balance her family and the vice presidency.

“You’re somebody’s mom and what are you going to do, say, ‘Excuse me, country, hold on?’ … She’s preaching that she’s this mom of the year and taking that poor little baby all over everywhere. And, you know, what she’s doing to her 17-year-old daughter is just appalling.” Lehr said she’s bothered by the way Palin’s pregnant daughter has been brought into the national spotlight.

Comment by Soldier of Christ | 2008-09-19 20:01:50

Well, Hope Float—-I guess that person who stated that doesn’t see that when you make good money- there is a word call NANNY. Unfortunately, they are just jealous because not only is Palin smart but has a face like an angel and probably their husband are staying up at night to see her every chance they get!

Comment by John House | 2008-09-19 20:42:17

LOL, aren’t many of me? I guess you’re just trying to stir up crap here as you usually do.

“I’m truly offended by Palin,” said Republican Philinia Lehr, 37, of Largo, a full-time mother with a nursing degree who voted for George Bush in 2004. Like Palin, she has five children and she doesn’t buy that the Alaska governor can adequately balance her family and the vice presidency.

Yes, it’s THOSE types of Republican women who are 1) jealous that Palin got so far in her CAREER while she also managed to have a family and 2) want to keep women where THEY are and they think they belong: At home, raising a family without a real career.

Get over it, SFHillary. These “Republican women” aren’t your friends, either.

Comment by Soldier of Christ | 2008-09-19 19:57:54

John House, if you would have asked me 3 years ago what do I think of President Bush, my answer would have been so nasty that you could not put it on this blog. Sometimes our G-d humbles people and makes them look up to see the evil. And there is a bunch of that in the democrat party. A friend said to me “What you like Bush?” And I said , “gosh I think I was possessed or something but I do now.” How elections change people…. Have you ever wonder why the Torah and the New Testament call dark forces demons? Demo…..ns? Demo…crats. Pretty close, I say. Thank G-d I am independent now.

Comment by WildChild | 2008-09-19 20:05:53

not demo..ns, but rather d-men: The devils men. not to be confused with the latin root dem, for people.

Comment by John House | 2008-09-19 20:44:19

Don’t get me wrong, I still hate Bush. The man’s an idiot. HE is the real example of how “ANYONE could be President” (to quote Poehler and Fey from last week).

So with that in mind, I’m perfectly willing to hand over the country to a WOMAN who can speak properly and has poise and grace under fire. A woman like Palin.

Comment by DAB | 2008-09-19 21:05:52

Paln’s interview with Hannity was excellent. Granted he was on her side and didn’t play gotcha but rather had a conversation with her that revealed a lot of what she’s like. My assessment is that she is a tough, articulate, intelligent person with her head on straight.

Oh yeah, and she actually seems happy unlike Obama’s spouse who seems to wear a perpetual scowl.

Love Soldier4Hillary! Soldier should be running for president rather than that gutless plastic jesus at the top of the ticket. Barack’s claim to fame is that he is a Chicago politician – the city that is the worst political dump in the country.

Soldier4, run for office. Your country needs you.

Comment by tek | 2008-09-19 17:58:46

AnnS: Right you are! But Soldier would not be able to run on the Dem ticket because SHE’S A WOMAN and the Dems are totally sexist.

Comment by John House | 2008-09-19 18:04:36

Well the Republicans–particularly McCain–have opened up the opportunity for her to run as a legitimate black Republican American. Recall, the first balcks who ran for congress back in the day WERE Republican. MLK Jr. was a Republican.

I say that this is all just…brilliance on the part of McCain. The Republicans will take back their party, and in effect give the Democrats the opportunity to “take back” their party (though I somehow doubt that the Dems want to go back to their origins).

Comment by AnnS | 2008-09-19 18:10:27

Hey Seattle Moss, is the moss part because it’s so damp here?

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-09-19 18:48:30

Katherine..
Folks that live here in the Pacific Northwest don’t use umbrellas. That’s only for tourists..
As a result during the winter months I grow a nice layer of moss on my back. Right now it could use a little watering as it’s been so dry and nice this summer.
Now if you want to talk about my web feet that’s another topic.

Comment by Dawnelle | 2008-09-19 19:56:49

Comment by Carol | 2008-09-19 22:21:32

I lived all my life on the west side of the Oregon Cascades and had moss on my back, but now I live on the High Desert of Central Oregon and have lost the moss, but I must admit I sometimes miss the rain.

Comment by Buzz Latte | 2008-09-19 23:33:19

This is coming in late but I grew up and have lived in WA state until a few years ago. I miss it!!!

I miss the rain!! I fall asleep to thunderstorms and rain on the ipod every night.

Seattle Moss, you’re right. No one uses an umbrella.

Our neighbors think I’m nuts because I go stand out in the rain – WHEN it rains here. Perhaps I should not stand in the front yard!

I even start watching Twin Peaks DVDs in October, just so I can see the weather/scenery in the opening shots.

I also learned to be a Democrat in WA state and knew that the extreme left was socialist. It is a real surprise to people where I am now. They can’t believe that the West Coast is so in the tank for Obama.

But the numbers are beginning to get close in Oregon – 4 pt spread.

Damn. I’ve never voted republican, but will do so this GE. I don’t think of it as voting for a Republican as much as for the best choice.

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-09-19 23:44:35

Thanks for the comment Buzz..
I was just walking out the door.
I moved to Seattle because I love the cool air. I don’t watch the weather forecasts as it’s always a combination of sun and clouds with maybe a sprinkle of rain.
I have a tree outside my house that has an abundance of green moss growing on it. if you look up close at the moss it has it’s own complex ecosystem like a forest with many varieties and little creatures living in the moss forest.
I love all creatures big and small and like to walk lightly protecting what I can.
I got a big heart for nature but realize that we have enemies that can obliterate all that we love in an instant.
That is why I’m for McCain..The stakes are that high and we live in a cruel unforgiving world where the fittest including nations survive or fall.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Didn’t Hillary refer to Sojourner Truth? I am not sure but it was the underground railroad and thousands escaped safely to Canada where they’ve made it their home. Nova Scotia has a large population of such ‘escapees’ to freedom. The Loyalists established well in the upper Colonies! Too bad Obama hasn’t been given a one-way ticket to the Colonies! Ah, well, come November we may have to wave our handerkchiefs at The Rapper-Wannabe who’s used to dusting his worthier opponents off his dainty shoulders and scraping them off his shoes. What a poseur! The Megalomaniac of the Year Award belongs to Obamarama for sure!

who cares about bush now. It is a new day and a new era. McCain/Palin can remake the party and bring it to promise now.
McCain no matter how hard they try is just not an average republican. Nor is Palin.
They have fought their party tooth and nail on principle.
She had the stae of alaska’s GOP party chairman fired and fined for corruption.
She defeated an imcumbant republican governor because he was screwing the poeple.
A team of Mavericks indeed.

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-09-19 18:58:54

Paul you hit it on the nail!
Last year I began to question my reasoning about Bush and put aside my differences about the war.
I began to support the surge and debate those that wished for defeat and retreat in Iraq. As a historian and geographer I began to see the strategic importance of America’s victory in Iraq. I also give credit where it is do and we have not been attacked again since 911.
I supported as a good democrat Hillary as I knew she would be strong on defense realizing that at one time she was a Goldwater republican.
I argued at the caucus that this election would be about who could keep you safe when you went to the polls and warned Obamabots that their candidate had no been vetted. I told that Hillary was the only one that was McCain’s equal on foreign policy but they didn’t listen.

Now I don’t carry the water for anyone. I’m liberated and independent and will vote for the best candidate regardless of party.
It’s really nice to be free!!

Bravo, Soldier – you go girl! Lynn Forester (a self-made woman who married well, but is not an elitist) would agree with you. From the article linked above:

“Mr. Obama cannot point to any analogue to Mr. McCain’s service. As he talks of himself, and his supporters talk about the amazing Obamaness of Obama, it is no wonder that millions of Americans, including loyal Democrats, still question whether his presidency would reinforce the splendor of Barack Obama rather than protect them and enhance their lives.”

Let’s hope it works…I can’t stand to think of what the next four years would be like with his arrogance pouring out of the Oval Office…

I must point this out to anyone who may have not take the time to watch her entire video. I did. There are no cuts or edits in Soldier’s video. She went 8:49 without um or ah. Here is a citizen who can deliver thoughts without teleprompters, edited background, added crowd cheers, a nose pointed to the sky or a finger pointed at you.

Soldier. I hear you. I happen to like what Palin is bringing to the mix. I like strong women. I can go along with different opinions. I can’t go along with people who hate Sarah JUST because she is not following the feminist line, and getting in the back of that line. You have a very pragmatic approach that probably will not be understood by many people who have just given up on democrats and Hillary – you obviously have not. You present your position in a way that you even appeal to me – one who now will have to watch the next four years to determine which woman I will give my vote.

I want to vote for you. Actually I offer my services. If you need a hacker proof place to back up your stuff, let me know through Susan. One would have to blow up three central Internet hubs to shut down some of my systems. But then again, I am sure that a bunch of people have your youtube site bookmarked and that will always be around.

Now. About what you just said. You go, girl!

Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Way.

Lead – Obama doesn’t lead – he waits for others ideas then steals them.

Follow – Obama makes a poor follower because he’s willing throw those who lead him to greater heights aside.

Get Out of the Way – My advice for Obama.

Listen to MLK Obama. It’s not the color of your skin but the content of your character. Yet your own VP’s (Biden) strongest case for you? Vote for him simply because he’s black. Forget ability, experience, or character.

Isn’t that the opposite of MLK’s message?

Of course it is.

Comment by Hope Floats! Flush Twice! | 2008-09-19 19:55:49

McCain is way ahead of Obama in Florida, and Sarah Palin has helped reinvigorate the GOP. Independent voters like her, too.

Poll: GOP Brand Making Comeback
By David Paul Kuhn writing for Politico.

A new poll by the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press reports that independent voters have an equally favorable opinion of both parties, 50 to 49 percent, a one-point edge for the GOP. That compares to an 18-point Democratic advantage as recently as August, a wide gap that had generally held for more than a year.

Maybe it’s Sarah Palin who can raise from the dead.

Thousands Turn Out to See McCain-Palin in Ashwaubenon, Wisconsin
From WLUK-TV.

“Raising taxes in a tough economy isn’t patriotic. It isn’t a badge of honor,” McCain said at a Republican rally in Ashwaubneon. “It’s just plain dumb.”

The line elicited the loudest applause of the night for the McCain, who spoke to a crowd that nearly filled the 11,000-seat Resch Center.

‘Sarah-mania’ Grips Central Florida Before Rally
By Joe Follick in the Gainesville Sun.

For years, the nation’s top Republican candidates have trekked to The Villages in Central Florida as a must-stop on the campaign trail. The retirement community of more than 80,000 residents has hosted President George W. Bush, Florida Govs. Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist, presidential candidates including Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney and many others in recent years.

But local Republicans say this Sunday’s rally with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin may be the largest ever.

“Sarah-mania has taken over here,” said Richard Cole, the chairman of the The Villages Republican Club of Sumter County.

Palin Changes Republican Image
From KION-TV (Monterey-Salinas-Santa Cruz, California)

Sarah Palin was virtually unknown around the country up until a few weeks ago but she is NOW a household name and many Republicans in Monterey County believe that Palin is responsible for revolutionizing the party.

David Finkelstein resident of Salinas said “I think her stand right or wrong she is honest and is comfortable with her position.”

Her and Bill are losing my respect and admiration for pushing this fraud on us. If she is doing it so she can run in 2012, that is for the wrong reason. Alot can happen in 4 years and what kind of shape will our country be in then if Obama is at the helm? Hillary should be staying low key and doing what she does best in the Senate and let Obama sink to the bottom of the marsh where he belongs.

McCain and Palin are not democrats and they are not patriots. They will absolutely continue the past eight years of Republican theft of the future of this country. Can you even comprehend what would happen to this country if McCain was actually able to implement his agenda of a trillion-dollar tax cuts and privatization of health care? I doubt it.

By nominated your unqualified, dishonest, anti-American, raicst ulta-left wing, arrogant, stuttering, hate mongering Messisah, you have driven millions running from the Democratic Party.

After Obama loses the Democratic Party will either:

a) Be reformed, with the moderates and moderately Liberal Democrats taking over and putting the Obama/Kos wing in its place.

b) Will become an irrelevant party in national politics, when the Democrats with brains, who love American flee the party.

I am guessing “a”.

Haven’t you figured out yet the company you’re keeping? Everyone you people listen to now — Rush, Hannity, WorldNet, Ingraham, Fox, O’Reilly — if HRC had won the nomination, they would all be trashing her and impugning her patriotism and her morality, just like they are now doing to Obama. And you would all be good loyal Democrats hating all these Republican slime. Instead, you are making common cause with Republican slime, hoping to empower them to do permanent damage to America, just because you don’t like Obama?

Have you not been frightened to your senses by what has been happening to Wall Street this week? This is all a direct consequence of right-wing Republican deregulating ideology — exactly what McCain wants to retain and expand to health care and Social Security.

Look, I know I get insulting and all on this site, but it just drives me crazy that any rational progressive could possibly support this crap. I have a very young daughter and the thought of her growing up in a nation molded by the likes of John McCain and Sarah Palin makes me want to puke. Your hatred of Obama is irrational — he’s just a mainstream Democrat.

The democrats prevented legislation that McCain backed that would have put regulations on Fannie and Freddie.
Democrats like Barney frank prevented this as there goal was to have everyone possible own a home regardless of their ability to pay.
The reason Obama has taken so much money from these failed institutions is because there will be investigations and the democrats know if McCain is elected they will be exposed.
Look for McCain to bring this up in the debate.

Comment by SFhillary | 2008-09-19 20:44:55

Got a link for that, Seattle? I hear that’s the new talking point. It’s bullshit. The Republicans of this era have been OVERWHELMING deregulators of practically every major U.S. industry, from telecommunications on down, and that deregulation hasn’t been all bad, but in this case some people — most notably Greenspan — really dropped the ball. No attempt to pin this on Obama is going to fly, though, especially since in a magazine out right now, McCain had this to say about deregulating banking, and doing the same for health care:

Comment by WildChild | 2008-09-19 21:45:37

interesting. I’m glad it’s working for you. One of the things that has always appeared to me to be a bait and switch during this campaign is how NAFTA became a shift in focus away from the abuses of the WTO. In getting us to talk about our trade relationship with our immediate neighbors we draw attention away from the giant sucking sound created by the communist Chinese. Canada and Mexico aren’t a danger to our nation. The commies holding leverage over our policy because they use the excess cash generated by our trade imbalance to buy our debt is. It’s just a matter of time before they use that lever over us to call the shots on this planet.

Comment by Seattle Moss | 2008-09-19 22:28:18

The Chinese are threat, however this could be diminishing. Back in 1980 we feared Japan.
Today China is facing the same problems the US faced in the 60’s. A rising middle class, environmental disaster, rising wages and falling demand for certain petroleum based products which countries are turning away form. Also freight is becoming an issue.
Some of my greatest gains in the past two years have been against the Chinese because their imports all of a sudden are too expensive.

The communist party is trading economic prosperity for continued rule. Their people are currently in favor of that. They will become dangerous on the day their economy hits a down turn and the communist party needs a new deal to maintain the loyalty of the people. I believe they will, as all single party states do, turn to the external threat to accomplish that end. That threat will be us as we are the major economic and military power in the world. We are handing them the weapon they can use against us in the form of their buying our national debt. On that day can kill us simply by selling unless we begin to step up and remove the threat by actually doing our duty and paying our taxes and paying down our debt.

Congratulations on having a thriving business, Seattle. I mean that; it isn’t easy to do. As for my own success in life — well, let’s just say that any anger I feel toward you is because you’re going to make an idiotic vote in November, not because you’re successful; let’s just say that if Obama gets in and lets the Bush tax cuts on 250k-income households expire, that will cost me plenty in the short term. But the resulting stock market and economic boom will more than make up for it, as it would in your case too, I’m sure. You’ll see. Republicans like you said all the same nonsense about Bill Clinton when he was running in 1992 — it was a recession, we couldn’t worry about the deficit, Clinton was a crazy socialist who would destroy American business, blah blah blah. It was all horseshit then and it’s all horseshit now. Clinton was a grownup who understood that balanced budgets produce lower interest rates and growing economies. Obama will produce the same thing. It is McCain, with his trillion-dollar tax cuts for an economy that is already terrifyingly out of balance, who poses a mortal threat to small businesses like yours.

Comment by Pink Panther | 2008-09-19 21:02:13

What Obama’s Ignorant Trolls Don’t Talk About (Probably Because they are Illiterate)

Obama’s Tax Plan Hurts Small Businesses

Obama continues to say he will tax people making over $250,000. What he doesn’t tell people is that plan to tax “people” over $250,000 includes small businesses and is a marriage penalty.

Obama’s plan to raise taxes on households making more than $250,000 will raise taxes on most small-business profits in America. These are mom and pop shops that employ few employees. These are the corner businesses that make America work.

What type of tax rate are we talking about? Currently, S corporations face a top tax rate of 35 percent, while sole proprietors and general partners face a tax rate of 37.9 percent (since they’re responsible for paying both income tax and the Medicare component of the payroll tax).

There is already a significant marriage tax penalty, as well as too many taxes on small businesses. Obama’s plan will put small businesses out of business and force people to rely on large companies and government for their paycheck. As the tax on businesses increase, those costs will be passed onto clients and customers.

The tax money Obama wants to take from married couples and small businesses will be redistributed by Obama to foreign countries and other entitlement programs. Oh, and Obama is talking about taking our troops into Afghanistan.

Comment by Pink Panther | 2008-09-19 23:15:28

WildChild,
My comment above was not complaining about paying taxes; however, we have ALL been overtaxed. If you don’t believe it, think about everything that gets taxed at the local, regional, state, and federal levels. Additionally, every time you purchase something, the cost of the tax the business is paying is passed onto you.

As a small business person, it amuses me that Obama supporters (and others) complain about large corporations (e.g., big box stores) killing small businesses but then defend taxing small businesses. INCREASED TAXES IS ALSO KILLING SMALL BUSINESSES.

If Obama and the “progressives” are supporting taxing small businesses, they are as much to blame about putting small businesses out of business as the large companies.

It’s obvious Obama and his minions have never run a business, filed a corporate tax return, had to make payroll, etc. If so, they would understand that increasing taxes on small businesses only stifles and kills them.

There goes our individual freedom to be self-sufficient. According to Obama’s philosophy, let’s all rely on the government and multi-national corporation for paychecks.

We(both republicans and democrats), have been through some vicious spin cycles, from our parties. What I have gained in this election, is an insight I wasn’t even willing to try, prior. I don’t want to be against someone because they are republican, I never did, I was so angry about the politics over the last 8 years, I was guilty of grouping, and not able to consider one thought that wasn’t from a democrat.
What a difference a presidential race makes. It is humbling to be dumped by your party, it is sad, to not be able to relate to that party any longer, and it is infuriating to be considered a labeled-boxed voter, myself. I think it is political Karma I must have gone through. Now, I am struggling not to vomit, if someone asks if I am a democrat, I feel a new political prejudice, against democrats who support O. As if they are traitors. Wrong, probably, (see above, for grouping folks), yet, the extreme I see, considered to be the norm in the democratic party is like nothing I have ever experienced and I cannot get my head around it no matter how hard I try. It’s an actual aversion at this point, and disgust. I work on it, but until this election is over, and I see what the reaction is either way, the jury is out. If he wins, and they go mad with face rubbing, seriously pushing the politics of race further, and dehumanizing those who don’t go along, I think I may be in for another Karmic re-haul, as I will fight tooth and nail. If he loses and there is rioting in the streets and screams of racism, and false elections, I will have to hold back a snicker and smug satisfaction and probably have some karmic penance to do there as well. But, I will sleep better.

Obama’s latest political ad linking McCain and Limbaugh together is the most despicable yet. Also the most cynical … played on all Spanish radio stations… one intent only to stir up racism.

Throw up are the operative words!

THANK YOU soldier4hillary. I’m going to try to get some people to view your video – I have a few former Clinton supporters who greet me with “Don’t you just HAYE that woman”(Palin. This is their excuse for voting for BO.

I hope it helps.

Patsy, thanks for the video. If Obots have been messing with your blog and they’ve hacked into Sarah Palin’s emails, what does that tell us? I think those tactics reveal a lot about the methods of the Democratic party these days. Reminds me of the Bolsheviks. The Democratic party I was raised in no longer exists.

Fantastic video Patsy!

As for all the lists, well they’re not new friends from my perspective. Actually, they’re more like relatives, some annoying and some you tolerate, that have been with you throughout the years.

New friends:

BlogTalkRadio Shows:
Patsy and Sugar
MommaE’s Radio Rebels
My Two Cents
DCMediagirl (When I remember!)

Old Friends Gone Astray:

Peggy Noonan (What the hell has happened to her?)

Bill O’Reilly (Sorry, but he’s really been flakier than usual.)

Charles Krauthamer (He’s good, but damn he has issues with Palin.)

David Frum (Another non-Palin fan)

Old Old Friend That Will Never Return:

Andrew Sullivan (You’re a dipshit and that’s the nicest thing I can think to say at the moment!)

The Enemy of My Enemy is My Friend“?

Yes, I couldn’t agree more.

I’m voting for McCain-Palin for 2012–Hillary’s 2012 victory. Obama’s divisive tactics must be nipped in the bud in 2008, so that the party can truly reunite for 2012.

There were two subtext during the primaries, not one. Yes, African Americans, who comprise 12.5% of the population, are second class citizens in America in 2008, but women, who make up 50% of the general population, are also second class citizens in 2008. Take your pick.

Between a woman with impeccable feminist credentials and a divisive race-baiter with at best mediocre civil rights credentials, I’d take the woman any day.

It’s a no brainer.

Comment by Ferd McBerfle | 2008-09-19 19:07:00

Obama’s divisive tactics must be nipped in the bud in 2008, so that the party can truly reunite for 2012.

For that to work, the party apparatus will have to be dismantled and hauled away as toxic rubbish. The rules will have to be rewritten and current party leaders (Pelosi and Reid) fired. Anything less than that and I’ll not return to the party.

Comment by Beowulf | 2008-09-19 21:16:45

Dude, stop bustin’ my balls. I’m tryin’ to be fair, balanced and nuanced here.

Don’t forget his voting record, minus the 130 “present” votes of course. He did achieve some modest things as a “community activist”; but then again, there must be thousands of community activists out there who’ve achieved far, far more, but don’t have the cajones to claim they are fit to be POTUS and leader of the free world. His two books are great, if you can ignore the profound fictional elements, LOL.

Listen, I don’t agree with everything he writes or says on race relations, but I do agree with most of it. What he says, what he preaches is great, but what he actually does as a candidate is DOWNRIGHT DESPICABLE.

Mind you, I like Hillary, and I like Bill, but that doesn’t mean I always agree with them. By the same token, although I TOTALLY despise Obama, it doesn’t mean I disagree with everything he says. I’m really pissed off at the African American community either for directly race-baiting themselves, defending Obama’s race-baiting, or standing idly by and saying nothing out of fear. Even Alice Palmer, who supported Hillary, was too afraid to talk to CNN about what Obama did to her.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPQedyt10To
—CNN piece on Obama’s treachery against Alice Palmer. At about 5m50sec, it says Palmer now supports Hillary and doesn’t want to talk to CNN about Obama.

Just b’coz I’m really pissed off at African Americans doesn’t mean I’m gonna suddenly not support and/or vote against each and every “black” cause which I used to (and still do) fully believe in.

Comment by Jim | 2008-09-20 05:34:58

Funny how the Obots overlook Obama’s race-traitor behavior. I guess they want to elect a black-hating black man.

The only difference between Obama and Bush is taxes(Bush keeps low to get conservative base), and religion. That is the difference between a neo-conservative and a liberal. Mccain is a true conservative on most issues with some liberal tendacies.

Comment by Ferd McBerfle | 2008-09-19 19:58:14

The real difference between a neocon and a liberal is that the liberal will tax YOU and spend YOUR money. The neocon will borrow against YOUR CHILDREN’S and GRANCHILDREN’S money and spend it. I don’t like either way. I’ll take a true conservative like McCain any day.

Iranian President Takes Obama Up On Offer

Ahmadinejad offered to debate with Obama and McCain when he arrives at the United Nations next week.

Obama said he would meet without preconditions with Iran. Ahmadinejad now wants to take him up on that offer.

For those Obama minions who now want to revise history and say Obama never said he would meet with Iran (or other radical countries) without preconditions, watch the following video.

“The enemy of my enemy…” That’s funny, I was just thinking about that line the other day. It was in the first Aliens v Predator movie–the one where the heroine (you know, the beautiful human) and the Predator team up to fight the Aliens.

So, in my present state of “alienation” I started thinking how McCain is like the Predator and all those blog-trollin’, website-hackin’ Obots are kinda like the slithery spawn of (close-up)”you are one ugly mother!” Alien.

As a lifelong Democrat, I’m horrified to admit my party does feel a bit like the invasion of the body snatchers lately.

Generations of enemies of America have learned it.
Now it’s Obama’s turn to learn it.
Never underestimate the ability of the American soldier to readily distinguish shit from Shinola.
And once that has been done, you’d better not be waiting around for them to act, either.

Here is another source for getting information out. This is aimed at the Asian/American population. I have read some of their articles and quoted from one for here. It’s a interesting paper and if we want things out we need to find papers that will help us.

While Barry strives to divide the races, we have got to reach out and join with them. He uses the divide and conquer out of the Arabs play book. They did this when they wanted to get a new batch of slaves. Why were so many blacks involved in slavery? It was divide and conquer.

I’ve heard it said before and it makes good sense when you need to win. The entire DNC, and especially Brazile, Pelosi, Dean, the whole bunch of miscreants took the nomination away (stole it) from Sen. Hillary Clinton. Everybody knows that. No way, no how Obama.
