While its statement says my article was “filled with distortions,” the rebuttal actually centers on a technical point: the differences between two Iraqi-US accords under negotiation – the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA, to set rules governing US military personnel in Iraq) and the Strategic Framework Agreement (SFA, to settle the legal basis for the US military presence in Iraq in the months and years ahead).”

Sen Obama is trying to confuse the public.
Taheri is talking about separate meetings .

Meeting 1:
There was one meeting where Obama along with Bush officials met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

Meeting 2:
And there was another separate private meeting between Obama and Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.

I think this warrants the opening of a SERIOUS investigation to see if Sen Obama violated any US laws. The issue is far from closed…

It seems to me that Obama does his homework where illegal activities are concerned. He knew the DNC would back his cheating and lying in the caucus’s and primaries, and even steal a few delegates for him. Its called money folks and much of the money raised by Obama goes to fund these illegal and immoral activities, yet there is nothing done to him. If the law is corrupt and on your side of corruption you can do whatever the hell you want to do and nobody but nobody is going to bother you about it, they wont even admit that it exists!
Obama couldn’t have done this in the republican party, they would have thrown him out on his ass where he belongs. They would not have allowed him to get away with stealing the nomination, their votes were counted.
Now when all is said and done and Obama loses by an immense margin, maybe then he will go back to Chicago and live off the people there. I know a place without heat in the slums he can get for a song. I don’t think those people in Chicago want him back there either. I am sure Obama and Resko’s homes are heating nicely in the winter, with the money set aside for those in need in Chicago. I guess they figured they needed it or wanted it more than the people of Chicago it was to benefit.

That’s pretty funny. I was on the Caucus blog daily and got so fed up with the lies that I came here and read this place daily.

As an ex-NYer who read that paper daily for decades, there were several times it became pure trash, one prominent time was the lead up to the war and them being totally in the tank for Bush.

Now they have gone overboard again.

In a year I might forgive them and go back to it, but as always, I will never believe everything I read anywhere. And you have a lot of nerve telling US what to read Phil… afterall, you didn’t vet your candidate. We could teach you many things about him if you have an open mind and are willing to read the archives.

Don’t assume we are the low-info voters, we have forgotten more about barky than you will ever learn.

Count on it.

Eastan McNeal, am I reading you right? YOu think that the YouTube videos that have been put out about Palin, seemingly all from the same source under different names, and the sock puppets that posted on those videos are unimportant? Why is that? Is it because the very company that Shackelford links to was the PR firm hired for Plame/Wilson? And you think that Axelrod is NOT a master in astroturfing? Perhaps you should examine his little deal with ConEd.

I don’t give a damn if it didn’t violate FEC rules, or even IRS standards. What I do give a damn about is exposing the Big 0 for being the direct opposite of what he claims he is; a different kind of politician. A new breed; honest, upright. Which is all pure bunk.

Instead of bashing Shackelford, who has outed more damn terrorist websites than our CIA, you should be hailing him for the yoeman’s work he is doing in exposing Chicago politics at its worst.

Somehow, reading the entries here for the last few months, I got the impression that the Democrats who are fed up with the shanigans of Howard Dean and Donna Brazille were trying to bring the Democratic Party back to standards it once had.

It is bad enough that the media is in the tank for Obama and caused Hillary to lose the nomination, now this.
