David Kernell, the University of Tennessee student who illegally gained entry to Sarah Palin’s private Yahoo account, is an “Obamacrat”. Just view the following screenshot of his Facebook page captured by Terry Frank, a Republican commentator and radio personality:
An Obamacrat, David Kernell knows how to follow orders. Indeed, the member of the University of Tennessee Democrats and son of Tennessee State Representative Mike Kernell (D-Memphis) most probably found inspiration in the following statement uttered by Barack Obama in Elko, Nevada, last week:
“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,” he said.
Not only did David Kernell “get in” Sarah Palin’s face; he forcibly entered her inbox. I guess he is the one for whom Sarah Palin’s private electronic mail account was waiting.
According to WBIR of Knoxville, Tennessee, the obedient Obamacrat was celebrating last night with friends in his apartment when the FBI arrived with a search warrant. I quote:
A separate law enforcement source confirmed to 10 News that a search warrant was served on Kernell’s apartment.
According to the witness, several agents arrived at The Commons of Knoxville around midnight.
They presented their badges upon entering Kernell’s apartment, where several students were having a party, and took down their names.The witness tells us they asked him and those who did not live in the unit to go outside. He believes the investigators took about 1.5 to 2 hours taking pictures of everything inside the apartment.
He says Kernell’s three roommates were also subpoenaed, and must testify this week in Chattanooga.

Although I do not know if David Kernell was emulating Barack Obama or Steven Cohen when he violated Sarah Palin’s privacy, I do know that he is a typical Obamacrat insofar as he has terrible role models. Obama can tell his supporters “to get in their face,” but I wonder if Obama will be the one for whom they will be waiting when they are sitting in jail or before a judge in a court of law.

In fact, the media continues to excuse the problem. Do you remember their reaction when it was diclosed that someone had looked at obama’s passport photo. Olbermann had one of his classic meltdowns. Even after it was disclosed that low-level employees looked at the files of all sorts of famous people including McCain and Hillary, they were in a huff about it. I have not seen a single MSM express condemnation or disgust over the intrusion into Gov Palin’s privacy.

Long ago I had a friend from South Philly who did a bad bad thing. The FBI showed up at her house, and she coolly and calmly faced them down. Essentially, she told them if they didn’t have a warrant they could pound sand. She was all of 26 years old at the time.
Contrast this with the little candy-asses running from the big bad G-men. They’re tough enough when they’re perpetrating under the cover of darkness, but when exposed they’re too wimpy to face the music.
(My friend was prosecuted for her offense, she was under house arrest for a while. The only reason I bring her up is that when reality came and knocked on her door, she didn’t behave like a little Punk.Ass.Bitch.)

When a child can stand up in a school room in the US in any city or state and tell their teacher to “F- Off” and not recieve the slightest reprecussion for it by the school or their parents, there is something seriously wrong with our country. Teachers are getting fed up, the best are leaving or planning to leave, fewer are going into education and eventually, the public schools will crumble.
Of course none of the politicians are talking about that at all, and they won’t until it comes up on us in the middle of the night just like the bailout has.
I agree about a frightening trend in the younger generation. I do know that a large percentage are good kids, kind kids, serious kids. But it does seem to me that the “popular” kids get that way by being ruthless. There is not sense of right or wrong except this: If it gets me what I want, it’s right; otherwise it’s wrong.

I was a teacher (retired finally). The atmosphere in public schools has really become frightening–even in the white collar suburban school I just left. There is little respoect for tradition, older people, rules, knowledge, ethics, etc.
Every teacher I know whom I respect always counsels young mothers and fathers to try if they can to home school their children. It’s not for religious reasons; it’s to keep the children out of the “lessons” those children will learn from the feral pack mentality of public school children.

I must say however, that “Derailing Obama” is more than important. It’s crucial. I deeply supported Hillary. But her support of Obama since the convention, tepid or otherwise, and if she is waiting to run again in 2012, is a betrayal of all of us who believed in her with our hearts, souls, time and money. 2. Which means she will need a ENTHUSIASTIC UNITED democratic party just to win 50+1.

5. You think there was Clinton fatigue this year, imagine in 4 years ? Alot of people will be very hesistant to go back and elect a Clinton, because they will seem outdated almost.
She must know all this. This year was her one shot. In 2012 there will be just too much working against her. Not to mention the democratic party has it set up where you know another black guy (probably harold ford jr will get the nomination.) I have a 20 year old son myself who’s the president of the College Republicans at his school. So, I know firsthand the fervor these young people can have, and they are impressionable. Look at how influential Ward Churchill was with his students in Colorado. Bill Ayres probably holds that kind of sway with his students. It will be interesting to learn if Kernel was “nudged” to do whatever he could to further the cause and campaign of Obama.
