my question to sandra b would be – is it possible for WHITE comedians to appropriate and attempt to dis- empower black stereotypes in the same way that comedians like Richard Pryor or Paul Mooney have done with the N word?
But, I dont think she was even trying to to dis-empower these racist stereotypes. I think she was exploiting their power. Its not possible for a white person, or a jewish person, to reclaim anti-black stereotypes because those stereotypes were created by the white power structure and can only be reclaimed by those people they were deployed against – african americans. She comes off like a white rapper dropping the N word. I think this may sign her own internalized racist attitudes. We should ask Paul Mooney. But, as far as Sandra B is concerned, I’m distrustful of anyone so proud of the Old Testament.

.Ah, “fascist” is so over used. Perhaps, True Believer, I could give you a pointer or two.

Firstly you will never change anyone’s mind on this blog: The water-tight compartments began setting some time around March when it was clear that a decisive primary victory was not in sight.

Secondly, the McCain endorsement attracted a whole scad of Republican troglodytes and you know how they are. The Palin announcement attracted some altogether non-linear weirdos which science has yet to characterize.

Thirdly, in view of one and two above, you will effect no change so you might just have a little fun. For instance, a more proper use of the term “fascist” was first used by the Chad Mitchell Trio and is appropriate to this situation thusly,

“Gunslinger Sarah, the fascist gun in the West.”

Channel Johnny Cochran: Play off that riff till November fifth.

One of your supporters is making it clear you cannot be trusted around white women because you are a black brother.

This raises a point that Dr. Kate wrote about recently on Texas Darling’s blog.

In examining his relationship with his mother BO writes in his book that she would cross the other side of the street to avoid a black man. He has said this publicly and thought nothing of it.

If the candidate has no moral compass, don’t expect his supporters to have much of one either. I am not saying this as an indictment of people who DO support him. But one must ask, “What threshold, shall we as a “democratic” society, accept as a minimum level of human discourse?”

Frank Davis is quoted as telling BO he can’t escape the color of his skin and to not forget it, as he left for San Diego.

Obama relates in Dreams that just before he went to college at 18, he was warned by ‘Frank’ “not to forget his ‘people’ and not to start believing what they tell you about equal opportunity and the American way and all that shit.”

These are quotes are one side of the “guilt” coin and the other side is also part of the “guilt”. Randi meet Sandra…

On another note, I read that Sarah Palin is hosting Bono at a dinner. Bono has often given President Bush enormous credit for stepping up and not just “pledging” US support to help the cause Bono works for – relief for Africa – but actually living up to his word and delivering on his promises. So while the degenerate Hollywood “stars” who do nothing but yap, yap, yap about “helping”, but in reality just attack & slander anyone who is a Republican, someone like Bono, who actually DOES something to help, has nothing but praise for President Bush.

A man I now envy more than any other…Jerry Lewis! In the film, “The King of Comedy”, there is a scene when one of his psycho-kidnappers, Sarah Bernhard, (obviously a case of type-casting), thinking that somehow she has seduced him with her charming personality, releases him from his bonds. He stands up, moves toward her, and promptly punches her in the face. And you can see it in Jerry’s face, it is exactly what he wanted to “really” do.

Not so. She is a huge Obama supporter and she went on a foul mouthed rant on Angelina Jolie because she voiced her support for john McCain. Roseanne, being the delicate flower that she is, let loose with some vile, violent crap and apparently she thinks even LESS of sarah Palin. Roseanne and Bernhard are two of a kind, they recognized it years ago when Rosie had her on her show (after it had jumped the shark), what has Roseanne done in the past ten years? Nothing…Thank God!
