The Trojan Candidate

[Author's Note: I've been working on this article for quite some time and am so concerned about the true agenda of Barack Obama that I wanted to share this now, however incomplete and lengthy. I believe it imperative to defeat Obama for the sake of our country and encourage vigorous dialogue about the ideas presented herein! ]

Now why would Chicago educator unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers quote this poem on his blog this month? Do you think he knows something, or hopes for something that we don’t?
I do. And it has something to do with the candidacy–and potential presidency–of Barack Obama.
Packaged as the unknown longshot horse of change and hope, and accompanied by blinding fireworks, large mobbing crowds, the endless drum of the media, and noise blaring to distract the view, the doors to the country have been opened by the hapless democratic party….now this monstrous, perfectly sculpted form sits facing the Statue of Liberty.
The form appears impenetrable; not a scratch or line out of place; to some it was the most beautiful horse imaginable–a dream come true. After all, it was painted with all those words that people wanted to hear about hope and change. There was no need to look any further.
Others found themselves looking through the smoke and beyond the mirrors, to the underbelly of the horse known as Obama.
And there it was: a partially ajar trap door, with threads of the mystery hanging as if caught inadvertently in a door that was shut in a hurry. A few brave souls, many posting here at NQ and in other places, grabbed those threads, and without being absorbed into the horse, followed them with exceptional grit, determination and detail.
Individual strings on campaign tactics, racism, misogyny, questionable associations, legislative “experience”, Rezko, and mistruths taken together and seperately almost uniformly lead to the conclusion that Barack Obama is a danger to our country in ways too numerous to mention. And no one seems to be paying attention.

We all witnessed the theft of the nomination from Hillary Clinton, and the theft of the democratic party from its base in these last several months. As I have become profoundly aware that Obama is not who he says he is, I also wonder about his Manchurian Candidate chararacteristics. What is inside this Trojan Horse? Who is he a front for?
A Profound Lack of Respect for America…..
The most noticeable characteristic of Obama to me is his profound lack of respect for America as shown with his behavior on the flag pin, the failure to observe decorum regarding the national anthem, the fake presidential seal, the printed announcement of his speech in Germany, the upside down flag on the tickets and behind Biden at the Convention, his airplane with painted-over American flag, and his detached and callous appearance at Ground Zero. By this behavior, Obama is mocking America, cheapening its decorum and symbols.
Most people, when asked about when they learn about the flag, pledge of allegiance, the President, and national anthem, will indicate that this learning started from the First grade on. By the time most children have reached the Fifth grade, the “decorum” and basic respect for the flag, American symbols, and the national anthem are well known. Therein the respect is learned, and accounts for the visceral incredulity when symbols of our country are mocked. I personally have a gut distaste for his disrespect and it makes me angry.
Where did Obama’s disrespect come from?

I believe Obama’s disrespect is ingrained in how and where he learned about America. A world view shaped by his parents, grandparents, mentors, and associations.
…Ann Dunham
From her home in Kansas Ann’s parents moved to Seattle, Washington, then known as quite the hotbed of communist party activity. Ann Dunham attended Mercer Island High School where many of her teachers had been investigated by the House Un-american Activities Committee, some listed as known members of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). In 1960 the Dunham’s moved to Hawaii.
Both of Ann’s parents seem to have also had communist leanings, and the move to Hawaii furthered that contact with members of the CPUSA. As described below, the Communist Party was active and had a strategic interest in establishing a foothold in Hawai’i.
Ann Dunham met Barack Sr. in a Russian language class in 1960, and quickly became involved with a ‘radical’ discussion group described by Representative Niel Abercrombie in a March 27, 2007 article in the Chicago Tribune. Abercrombie attended the University of Hawaii at the same time as Ann Dunham and Barack Sr..
Within six or seven months of Barack’s birth, he was abandoned by his father. Ann attended the University of Washington for a semester starting in February 1962, and went back to Hawaii in the fall of 1962 while Barack Sr was in Kenya and then went to Harvard. While there are still many unresolved questions about his birth place, there is no doubt that Barack Senior was not an influence on Barry from February 1962 until sometime in 1971.
We also know that Obama-Soetoro spent his formative years (grades 1-5; ages 6-10) in Jarkarta, Indonesia, beginning in 1966 or 1967 after his mothers marriage to and formal adoption by Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen. Obama states that his mother taught him about America before and after his regular school he attended as ‘Barry Soetoro’, and that she was critically important in forming his world view.
As an aside, Ann took Barry Soetoro to Indonesia shortly after the overthrow of Sukarno and his replacement with General Suharto. During the period 1965-1966, over one million communists were murdered as part of the overthrow. Indonesia was still an extremely violent country through 1970’s. With Ann’s communist leanings, why did she go to Indonesia at this time? And why would she bring a 5 year old boy into this situation?
Given this trajectory in the first 10 years of Barry Soetoro’s life, what was America according to the world view of Stanley Ann Dunham? America as oppressor and colonizer; America and “the west” as agressor in Vietnam; American history from the standpoint of slavery, annihilation of Indian Tribes, and American imperialism? What was the American flag a symbol of to Ann Dunham? Was America ever a symbol of freedom and democracy to Ann? Seriously, how did she relate the history of America to Barry? Was it a one-sided perspective, or inclusive? (Note: I am not denying that this is the history of parts of American policy and leadership, and that there are on-going problems that need resolution to ensure fairness in our country.)

When the Dunhams moved to Hawaii, they were soon befriended by Frank Marshall Davis, a poet, Black activist, journalist, and labor rights organizer, originally from Kansas, who moved to Hawaii from Chicago. “Frank” would later become a mentor to Barack.
[T]hrough Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.”
The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What’s more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.
Melanie Phillips adds more:
Barack Obama is an integral part of a web of radical activists, whose roots go back to a clandestine Communist Party network in Hawaii centering upon his erstwhile mentor the late black poet Frank Marshall Davis, an agent of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).
Unlike Communists elsewhere, the CPUSA fused the twin ideologies of class and race oppression. In a speech last year to mark the reception of the CPUSA archives at the Tamiment Library at New York University Gerald Horne, a member of the editorial board of the CPUSA journal Political Affairs, described how the CPUSA placed its emphasis on working class solidarity in tandem with staunch opposition to ‘white supremacy’.
In a dossier posted on the America’s Survival blog Herbert Romerstein, a former US government security investigator, records how Moscow micromanaged the CPUSA. In 1935, Moscow instructed it to establish a CP apparatus in Hawaii to develop a mass revolutionary movement there and promote the withdrawal from its territory of US forces – at that time essential for the defence of the US. This Hawaii CP network was perceived by government bodies to be a major threat to US national security.
A key figure was Harry Bridges, a CP agent and head of the International Longshoremen’s and Warehousemen’s Union. In 1948, Frank Marshall Davis came to Hawaii at the suggestion of Bridges and another secret CPUSA member, Paul Robeson.
America seen through the eyes of Frank Davis is steeped in the art, history, politics, and culture of Black America, its struggle to secure equality in white America. He was active during the Harlem Rennaissance, a complex socioeconomic and political period leading up to WWII, as a poet, writer, labor activitivist, and collaborator with the CPUSA in Chicago before moving to Hawaii.
Beginning with the publication of Black Man’s Verse in 1935, Davis quickly distinguished himself as a sharp–some would say strident–critic of the American racial status quo and an astute observer of African American urban life, particualrly in his adopted city of Chicago…(Miller, 2003, African American Review 37.2-3)
In the book The Film and Canvas of Frank Marshall Davis, author Helena Kloder describes Davis’ themes and style as varied and
consisting of love; the frustrated black American artist; the universal heritage and relationship that binds all men, regardless of skin color; the poor and the workers pitted against the powerful rich; middle class blacks; the hipocracy of American democracy and the myth of the American Dream
Beneath the surface of these words, Davis brought “an acute sense of race relations and class struggle throughout America and the world” and openly discussed subjects such as American imperialism, colonialism and exploitation. He espoused freedom, radicalism, solidarity, labor unions, due process, peace, affirmative action, civil rights, Negro History week, and true Democracy to fight imperialism, colonialism, and white supremacy. He urged coalition politics.”
Before coming to Hawaii, Davis was accused of subordinating the black cause to the communist party.
What this seemed to mean in practice in Hawaii was an attempt to suborn the cause of black people’s rights to the cause of Communism. Romerstein recounts how Davis tried to convert the National Association for the Advancement of Color People, which tried to fight off what it perceived as infiltration by Communists who it believed betrayed the cause of black people’s rights, into a Stalinist front..
Davis’ poem, “To Those Who Sing America”, describes his feelings about America in the context of class and race:
My country! ’tis of thee…”

a forty-room mansion and Poverty in a one-
room hovel…a nation turned prostitute for
the fat pimps of Politicians and Captains of
Industry…This my country with the star

Obama was introduced to Davis by his grandfather Stanley Dunham (remember Stanley met Davis in 1960), who considered Davis a ‘strong black male figure’ and thought he exerted a ‘positive’ and significant influence over Obama during his high school years. To a long term associate of Davis, Kathryn Takara, Davis was just such a black role model for the young Obama and gave him ‘a sense of believing that change can happen through ‘living in a diverse world. The problem was that Davis believed ‘change’ could best be achieved through Stalinism’.
Obama’s oft-referenced story of his revulsion because his grandmother was afraid of a black panhandler was explained by Davis as, “What I’m trying to tell you is, your grandma’s right to be scared. She understands that black people have a reason to hate. That’s just how it is. For your sake I wish it were otherwise. But it’s not. So you might as well get used to it.”
Obama relates in Dreams that just before he went to college at 18, he was warned by ‘Frank’ “not to forget his ‘people’ and not to start believing what they tell you about equal opportunity and the American way and all that shit.” Frank also delivered to the young Obama the one key lesson which radicals have sought to inculcate in the mind of every black person whether under slavery, segregation or civil rights: “…you may be a well-trained, well-paid nigger, but you’re a nigger just the same.”
So at the end of Barack Obama-Soetoro’s “formative years”–ages 6 through 17, we can only surmise as to what Obama’s view of America was. His mentors were decidely “left” with a disdainful view of America as colonizer, oppressor, racist, and imperialist. It was steeped in the principles of the communist party, revolution, the struggles of blacks in America, and the struggle of people everywhere against the American oppressor. He lived those moments through Franks accounts, an academic understanding, never experiencing them.
Davis’ poems, prose and activism were executed to demonstrate the hipocracy of American democracy and the myth of the American dream. Is it any wonder, in this context, that Obama demonstrates careless treatment of American flag, the presidential seal, the constitution, and the national anthem? At best, Obama demonstrates disturbing detachment from America.
The Education Radicalization of Barack Obama
Largely due to his association with Frank Davis, Barack was sent to the mainland with a set of ready-made contacts and a set career path. Potentially as early as high school, Barack was introduced to Bill Ayers.
Barack Obama’s first public speech was at an Occidental College event sponsored by the Students for Economic Democracy a branch of the Campaign for Economic Democracy [CED]. Far Left radical Tom Hayden who met with Marxist officials several times during his antiwar career chaired this fringe group in the late 70’s and early ’80’s. Several of the CED principal activists were also veterans of the Hayden-campaign and of the very radical group, Students for a Democratic Society.
Hayden was an important anti-American figure in the Students for a Democratic-Society a militantly leftist organization. 60’s radical Tom Hayden played a pivotal role both as founder and as principal author of this student group’s basic manifesto, the “Port Huron Statement.” This document condemned the American political system as the cause of international conflict and a variety of social ills — including racism, materialism, militarism, and poverty.
The Port Huron Statement reflected certainly elements of the CPUSA ideology regarding the national and international problems and results of the ‘American political system’.
In 1969 Hayden’s students for democracy group began imploding into factions. One of them, a group calling itself Weatherman, was elected to SDS leadership and proclaimed that the time had come to launch a race war on behalf of the Third World and against the United States. The Weatherman declared “war on AmeriKKKa” at its Flint War Council in 1969.
The new entity dissolved Hayden’s Students for a Democratic Society and formed a terrorist cult in its place, which was given the name Weather Underground.
It seems then that in the beginning of Barack Obama’s speaking career the group he was involved with had links to Marxists, the Weathermen, and Bill Ayers. Years after his first public speech at Occidental College Barack Obama found himself working several years with William Ayers, the founder of the terrorist cult Weather Underground, first in New York at Columbia, and then in Chicago.
After a short time at Occidental, Obama finished his undergraduate education at Columbia University in New York where he attended from 1981-1984. Bill Ayers received a degree from Bank Street College in 1984. Colombia and Bank Street College are only two blocks apart. It is likely that Obama and Ayers were neighbors in New York, and attended similar events like the “socialist conferences” Obama has admitted to attending in New York. As cited here at NQ, Obama visited Pakistan with his college roommate in 1981 using an Indonesian passport.
In the crucible of radical left discussions that are always present in the international city of New York, Obama is likely to have attended lectures by Khalid Al-Mansour, Louis Farrakahn, and other internationalists, socialists and black liberationists as Obama furthered his career. Al-Mansour’s viewpoints were described in an excellent post by Larry Johnson. In his studies at Columbia in Political Science, he is likely to have studied Marxist thought, black revolutionary movements, and revolutionary techniques such as those espoused by Saul Alinsky, Maoists, the Black Panthers, and American left radicals such as Ayers.
From his book Dreams:
[Black]Nationalism provided that history, an unambiguous morality tale that was easily communicated and easily grasped. A steady attack on the white race, the constant recitation of black people’s brutal experience in this country, served as the ballast that could prevent the ideas of personal and communal responsibility from tipping into an ocean of despair. Yes, the nationalist would say, whites are responsible for your sorry state, not any inherent flaws in you. In fact, whites are so heartless and devious that we can no longer expect anything from them. The self-loathing you feel, what keeps you drinking or thieving, is planted by them. Rid them from your mind and find your true power liberated.
Speaking of the conflict he felt within himself about being both white and black, and feeling the need to choose sides, he writes in Dreams:
Their confusion made me question my own racial credentials all over again. …To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets.
This gives the impression of a man that has thought about and did indeed carefully choose his associates–Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Pfleger, and Michelle, among others.
The “Community Organizer ” turned Lawyer
After Columbia, Obama went to Chicago where he is hired as a “community organizer” for several groups including ACORN. However, John Maki notes that Obama’s community organizing was more about political power than soup kitchens. A ‘community organizer’ could have a rather simple explanation if not for the fact that the whole model of a “community organizer” just handily fits within the revolutionary framework espoused by American, European and Asian radicals for decades.
As Kincaid writes,
It was in Chicago that Obama became a ‘community organizer’ and came into contact with more far-left political forces, including the Democratic Socialists of America, which maintains close ties to European socialist groups and parties through the Socialist International (SI), and two former members of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), William Ayers and Carl Davidson.He is now a college professor and served with Obama on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago. Davidson is now a figure in the Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and Socialism, an offshoot of the old Moscow-controlled CPUSA, and helped organize the 2002 rally where Obama came out against the Iraq War.
After Sarah Palin delivered her game-changing speech taking a swipe at Obama for being a community organizer,
the Obama campaign was forced to issue a pained defence of community organisation as a way of promoting social change ‘from the bottom up’. The impression is that community organising is a worthy if woolly and ultimately ineffectual grassroots activity. This is to miss something of the greatest importance: that in the world of Barack Obama, community organisers are a key strategy in a different game altogether; and the name of that game is revolutionary Marxism.
The seditious role of the community organiser was developed by an extreme left intellectual called Saul Alinsky. He was a radical Chicago activist who, by the time he died in 1972, had had a profound influence on the highest levels of the Democratic party. Alinsky was a ‘transformational Marxist’ in the mould of Antonio Gramsci, who promoted the strategy of a ‘long march through the institutions’ by capturing the culture and turning it inside out as the most effective means of overturning western society. In similar vein, Alinsky condemned the New Left for alienating the general public by its demonstrations and outlandish appearance. The revolution had to be carried out through stealth and deception. Its proponents had to cultivate an image of centrism and pragmatism. A master of infiltration, Alinsky wooed Chicago mobsters and Wall Street financiers alike. And successive Democratic politicians fell under his spell.
Alinsky’s book Rules for Radicals further specifies the role of community organizer:
It was Alinsky for whom ‘change’ was his mantra. And by ‘change’, he meant a Marxist revolution achieved by slow, incremental, Machiavellian means which turned society inside out. This had to be done through systematic deception, winning the trust of the naively idealistic middle class by using the language of morality to conceal an agenda designed to destroy it. And the way to do this, he said, was through ‘people’s organisations’. Community organisers would mobilise direct action by the oppressed masses against their capitalist oppressors.
Obama must have shown promise as a potential “stealth candidate” who could infiltrate the “march of institutions” to “capture the culture”, and “turn it inside out”. For the purpose of overturning western society. For in 1988, Bill Ayers began raising funds for his law school education, likely through his contacts and Khalid Al-Mansour whom he had befriended in his association with the Black Panthers. It was reported then that Percy Sutton was approached by Al-Mansour seeking a letter of entry to Harvard on behalf of Barack Obama. I believe some serious strings were pulled to achieve Obama’s entry into Harvard.
In 1989, Bill Ayers and his father Tom Ayers got Obama a summer job at Sidley & Austin, where he met Michelle Robinson. Recall that Bill Ayer’s wife, Bernadette Dohrn, also worked at Sidley & Austin and was the one who hired Michelle. Recall that Michelle could be considered a black separatist radical in her own right from college days!
It was during this time that Barack Obama was introduced to Reverend Wright and the theology of black liberation. Obama is likely to have at least studied or been introduced to black separatism, black nationalism, and black liberation theology in New York. James Cone is commonly cited as the founder of black liberation theology:
“The black theologian must reject any conception of God which stifles black self-determination by picturing God as a God of all peoples. Either God is identified with the oppressed to the point that their experience becomes God’s experience, or God is a God of racism…The blackness of God means that God has made the oppressed condition God’s own condition. This is the essence of the Biblical revelation. By electing Israelite slaves as the people of God and by becoming the Oppressed One in Jesus Christ, the human race is made to understand that God is known where human beings experience humiliation and suffering…Liberation is not an afterthought, but the very essence of divine activity.” [A Black Theology of Liberation, pp. 63-64]
“Black theology cannot accept a view of God which does not represent God as being for oppressed blacks and thus against white oppressors. Living in a world of white oppressors, blacks have no time for a neutral God. The brutalities are too great and the pain too severe, and this means we must know where God is and what God is doing in the revolution. There is no use for a God who loves white oppressors the same as oppressed blacks. We have had too much of white love, the love that tells blacks to turn the other cheek and go the second mile. What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power, which is the power of blacks to destroy their oppressors, here and now, by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject God’s love.” [A Black Theology of Liberation, p. 70]
In 1993 Ayers appointed Obama to the Woods Foundation, and in 1995 to the Chicago Annenburg Challenge. In 1995 Ayers and Dohrn hosted a coffee klatch for Obama’s political debut. By 1995, Obama has written his first book, Dreams, and in 2006 published Audacity of Hope, whose title he gained from a sermon by Reverend Wright. Obama served in the Illinois Senate until 2003, and then was elected to the US Senate in 2004.
Much can–and I hope will–be written about the funding and techniques employed in Obama’s various campaigns, including the use of ACORN, CPUSA, and the Annenburg Challenge funds; how he was funded to complete his books, especially Dreams, and the role of Dreams in creating a “storybook” candidate which has now been marketed to the public. Notice how Obama, Axelrod, the Democrats, and the obots can’t stand challenges to the story of Obama.
Revolution You Can Believe In
Well if you’ve read this far, I first thank you. Second, you know that even this lengthy article just begins to scratch the surface of some very serious concerns that should be raising eyebrows among elected officials and the public. We have not, for example discussed the incredible symbology being created for a world audience as Obama’s elaborate trips and stage craft are implemented. For example, Obama’s campaign logo can be seen also to reflect the two most common symbols of Islam–the crescent and the sword…the logo contains a crescent with the stripe representing an Islamic scimitar. The “rising sun over the west” –another significant symbol–is shown in Obama’s logo as the rising sun over the lands of America.
What started out as a simple observation–Obama’s lack of respect for America and American symbols–led to connecting the dots on Obama’s background, motivations and backers. And I see incredible stealth in his campaign.
Sometimes things seem just so obvious that we are lulled into complacent denial, thinking that it couldn’t be true– “Obama is too smart, he’s a U.S. Senator, he’s so nice, no that can’t be true!!”
To openly discuss his communist and revolutionary mentors with such intensity and focus lays open the charge of “McCarthy” tactics, “racism”, “red scare”, or “red baiting”, or ”doubting Obama’s patriotism”. How convient that the Obama campaign has the race, class, gender, education, age, and the “McCarthy” cards to obfuscate and distract from any serious examination of Obama’s motivation for seeking POTUS. In my view, Obama is a perfect tool, agent, or mole to use in advancing an agenda that lies entirely hidden from the public. His ego and insecurity can be manipulated for other goals.
In his run for the Presidency, Obama has structured his campaign as small offices all over the country, something no other Presidential candidate has done. Interesting that Howard Dean’s so called “50-state strategy” served as a perfect cover for Obama to move in and take over the apparatus of the democratic party. This kind of strategy is very much in line with Alinsky’s approach and the Marxist concept of revolutionary change.
Alinsky viewed as supremely important the role of the organizer, or master manipulator, whose guidance was responsible for setting the agendas of the People’s Organization…
Alinsky laid out a set of basic principles to guide the actions and decisions of radical organizers and the People’s Organizations they established. The organizer, he said, ‘must first rub raw the resentments of the people; fan the latent hostilities to the point of overt expression. He must search out controversy and issues, rather than avoid them, for unless there is controversy people are not concerned enough to act.’ The organizer’s function, he added, was ‘to agitate to the point of conflict’and ‘to maneuver and bait the establishment so that it will publicly attack him as a “dangerous enemy.” ‘The word ‘enemy,’ said Alinsky, ‘is sufficient to put the organizer on the side of the people’; i.e., to convince members of the community that he is so eager to advocate on their behalf, that he has willingly opened himself up to condemnation and derision.
Bill Ayers is a proponent of locally based revolutionary tactics. Ayers’ playbook is Mao Tse-Tung’s handbook. And Obama’s campaign structure follows Ayers’ matrix. A nationwide network of “Camp Obamas” controlled from Chicago has been established to train volunteers in some of the Alinsky techniques.
In particular, Alinsky advocates “in your face” techniques wherein the ends justify the means. Didn’t we just hear Obama call for his supporters to “get up in your neighbor’s face,” and argue with them?
What of Obama’s control over destruction of the Democratic party? Quite simple: according to Marxist revolutionary thought, a vanguard must be created which serves as the “point” of leadership for the communist-style revolution to come. Remember Brazile told us to stay home? That is so the new democratic party–the vanguard led by Obama as trojan horse can begin the process of radical change in America.
Add to this mix Soros, the mainstream media, the Democratic Party, voting integrity, an Alinsky-style field operation and it makes me think that we are in serious trouble.

The Trojan Candidate
There you have it–my theory on who this Trojan Horse named Obama is, and what I think he is bearing. In my view Obama’s campaign has been a masterful deception designed to run out the clock, timed for this moment in American history. Though Obama insisted in 2005 that he was not experienced enough to run for President, the timing according to someone is now.
But in actuality, he has been groomed for a long time.
It is a vulnerable moment for America: our armed forces are extended through two wars; the economy is a shambles; our reputation in tatters; Russia landed military aircraft in Venezuela and invaded Georgia; and a serious depression and exhaustion has descended over our country resulting from the last eight years of Bush. We are vulnerable to suckers for the mantra of “hope and change”.
Our forefathers foresaw revolution in the Declaration of Independence–”when in the course of human events, it becomes necessary….” whenever our freedoms are threatened by the government. Do we want to control this change in our country, or give it over to overthrow by a stealth campaign?
I can only hope that the true vetting of Obama will be done, that the Berg lawsuit exposes his multiple citizenship (allegiances), and that his true leanings and agenda are identified. I have never been so concerned about a Presidental election in my life, nor felt so acutely that we hold the fate of our country in our own hands.

Eight years ago, had you told average Americans that Sept. 11, 2001 was coming, they would have dismissed you as “paranoid,” “crazy” “stupid”, “fear-mongering” & “conspiracists.” NO American then would have believed that we could be attacked in such a vicious way by foreign terrorists - and on our own soil. But it happened.
In the same vein, I am now highly suspicious of Obama. He does keep close company with people whom have made it clear that they don’t care for the United States too much. Just look at Bill Ayers for example, an unrepentant 1970s bomber of several U.S. government buildings - including the Pentagon. And though it’s been over 30 years since his attacks, Ayers has been quoted in recent years as saying that he has “no remorse” for the attacks.
And I don’t believe for a second that Obama has suddenly cut off his lifelong friendships with Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, or any of the other “questionable” people he’s been close to.
September 11 taught me once again that anything is possible. Obama must be examined VERY CAREFULLY.
Only the DNC could have manipulated the primaries. They make the rules and they broke the rules to get this sorry baggage on the ticket.
Trojan Horse is the perfect analogy for Obama. First, we had the crazy christians trying to grab the government, now we have the looney left trying to nab the government. Really though- what is the difference between posts like Christy’s and “FUCCKKER” or “just me”- some are just more vulgar than the others.
I think positioning him as the Manchurian candidate is a tough sell. I grew up in a left wing culture where my parents and immediate families were hippies and I was exposed to a lot of socialist influences, but I shed pretty much all of them when I got a real job and realized that “the system” wasn’t really out to get you. However, they have not - they never had private sector jobs, just jobs in government or non-profits - and they still think the idea of profit is evil.
But even though they’re socialists, I wouldn’t classify them as anti-American. In fact, they love America and would never think of leaving it - which I have before and may again. They simply believe that they have a better understanding of the political changes that need to be made in this country in order to promote social justice. They’re dead wrong, but to about face at this point would be to admit years of failed ideology.
I put Obama in the same category. Hung out with a bunch of far-left guys and has far-left leanings himself. Doesn’t really respect private enterprise or middle America. But he likely genuinely thinks his “brilliant” intellect and grounding in socialist thought is just what America needs. He’s flat out wrong, and will end up crippling the economy and bending over backwards to appease terrorists that will only grow more and more bold.
However, because he lacks experience and has only worked at a low levels of government and hasn’t had any executive positions, he doesn’t understand how difficult it is to manage an enterprise like the Federal government and doesn’t realize that his policy foundation is all wrong, being rooted in a failed ideology that turned dozens of countries into hell on earth for much of the 20th century.
You can see it in Obama’s rhetoric when he demonizes Wall Street firms and oil companies profits and comments on the number of McCain’s houses. He believes that economic success is a crime - something you should feel guilty for, the result of greed. He doesn’t realize that the only reason America is wealthy is because of “greedy” people who struggled to build multi-billion dollar companies that produce the goods and services we use every day and employ millions of people, and in the process, generating billions of tax revenue.
That is a very good observation and I believe your experience shows you the truth.

Our choices should be simply between ideological policies on how this country should be run–that’s the American way when everyone is accountable and the two parties expose the corruption of the other. I read this post and think of all the people I would like to read it. The problem is, the people who need to read it will never do so, not kicking and screaming will they ever open their minds to one negative thing about Obama.
The country is not exactly divided between those who support or are against Obama.
Remember there are as many as 15 to 20% undecided and these are the people to whom this information will make the greatest difference. These are the people who will decide the election this year.
So please spend as much time disseminating this information to the undecided. Don’t waste your time with the immune. Persistence on everyone’s part will make the difference.

I listened to Air America when it began and I so hated the bush admin… I got really into it all. Kate - this is a great post. Obama’s past is relevant to what his plans for the future might be. Along with his very unusual and radical upbringing has been the consistent theme of banking throughout his life. He even used to hang out out Granny’s bank after school. His mom did micro banking in Indonesia and Pakistan. Barry’s school buddies were Pakistani elites - some in banking and finance.
He is a most interesting character, but what stands out for me is that he doesn’t want to be our leader because he loves us. Quite the opposite.

The Man Who Never Was

The mainstream media have gone over the line and are now straight-out propagandists for the Obama campaign.
While they have been liberal and blinkered in their worldview for decades, in 2007-08, for the first time, the major media consciously are covering for one candidate for president and consciously are knifing the other. This is no longer journalism; it is simply propaganda. (The American left-wing version of the Völkischer Beobachter cannot be far behind.)
And as a result, we are less than seven weeks away from possibly electing a president who has not been thoroughly or even halfway honestly presented to the country by our watchdogs — the press. The image of Obama that the press has presented to the public is not a fair approximation of the real man. They consciously have ignored whole years of his life and have shown a lack of curiosity about such gaps, which bespeaks a lack of journalistic instinct.
Thus, the public image of Obama is of a “man who never was.”
I take that phrase from a 1956 movie about a real-life World War II British intelligence operation to trick the Germans into thinking the Allies were going to invade Greece rather than Sicily in 1943. Operation Mincemeat involved the acquisition of a human corpse dressed as “Major William Martin, R.M.,” which was put into the sea near Spain. Attached to the corpse was a briefcase containing fake letters suggesting that the Allied attack would be against Sardinia and Greece.
To make the operation credible, British intelligence concocted a fictional life for the corpse, creating a letter from a lover and tickets to a London theater — all the details of a life, but not the actual life of the dead young man whose corpse was being used. So, too, the man the media have presented to the nation as Obama is not the real man.
The mainstream media ruthlessly and endlessly repeat any McCain gaffes while ignoring Obama gaffes. You have to go to weird little Web sites to see all the stammering and stuttering that Obama needs before getting out a sentence fragment or two. But all you see on the networks is an eventually clear sentence from Obama. You don’t see Obama’s ludicrous gaffe that Iran is a tiny country and no threat to us. Nor his 57 American states gaffe. Nor his forgetting, if he ever knew, that Russia has a veto in the U.N. Nor his whining and puerile “come on” when he is being challenged. This is the kind of editing one would expect from Goebbels’ disciples, not Cronkite’s.
More appalling, a skit on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” last weekend suggested that Gov. Palin’s husband had sex with his own daughters. That show was written with the assistance of Al Franken, Democratic Party candidate in Minnesota for the U.S. Senate. Talk about incest.
But worse than all the unfair and distorted reporting and image projecting are the shocking gaps in Obama’s life that are not reported at all. The major media simply have not reported on Obama’s two years at New York’s Columbia University, where, among other things, he lived a mere quarter-mile from former terrorist Bill Ayers. Later, they both ended up as neighbors and associates in Chicago. Obama denies more than a passing relationship with Ayers. Should the media be curious? In only two weeks, the media have focused on all the colleges Gov. Palin has attended, her husband’s driving habits 20 years ago, and the close criticism of the political opponents Gov. Palin had when she was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.
But in two years, they haven’t bothered to see how close Obama was with the terrorist Ayers.
Nor have the media paid any serious attention to Obama’s rise in Chicago politics. How did honest Obama rise in the famously sordid Chicago political machine with the full support of Boss Daley? Despite the great — and unflattering — details on Obama’s Chicago years presented in David Freddoso’s new book on Obama, the mainstream media continue to ignore both the facts and the book. It took a British publication, The Economist, to give Freddoso’s book a review with fair comment.
The public image of Obama as an idealistic, post-race, post-partisan, well-spoken and honest young man with the wisdom and courage befitting a great national leader is a confection spun by a willing conspiracy of Obama, his publicist (David Axelrod) and most of the senior editors, producers and reporters of the national media.
Perhaps that is why the National Journal’s respected correspondent Stuart Taylor wrote, “The media can no longer be trusted to provide accurate and fair campaign reporting and analysis.”
That conspiracy not only has Photoshopped out all of Obama’s imperfections (and dirtied up his opponent McCain’s image) but also has put most of his questionable history down the memory hole.
The public will be voting based on the idealized image of the man who never was. If he wins, however, we will be governed by the sunken, cynical man Obama really is. One can only hope that the senior journalists will be judged as harshly for their professional misconduct as Wall Street’s leaders currently are for their failings.

It was learning about Obama’s mother that really began to disturb me. She was really selfish. LOL, I guess you could say the same about Bill Ayers. I can’t even think of another word to describe it besides selfishness, being so self absorbed you believe your way is the only way and everybody else is so stupid they have no value. But that’s what it’s like, idealism without wisdom mixed with a ton of hubris. Obama is reeking of it.

I believe obama does not hate American - he resents America. It is a common emotion held by many third world people. Obama spend the years when your belief system is installed in your DNA in indoseian and around his atheist mother and muslim stepfather. I always wondered why obama would write a book paying homage to his father who abandoned him in infancy. He did not know his father but he knew of his father’s third world struggles caused by the “evil” america.
I believe obama will base both his domestic and foreign policy on righting the wrongs that american has done to the world and its own people. To me that is wrong. Our domestic policy should be based on creating an opportuniy to allow every american to prosper and assisting the sick and weak in such a way as to give them that same opportunity. Our foreign policy should be based on assisting citizens of foreign countries in achieving their potential through aid in diasters and opportunties to experience or witness democracy.

yes, you’re reading this correctly. This is one of the elements of Berg’s lawsuit against Obama–a POTUS CANNOT have dual citizenship–he can only have one allegiance. Any passport that is not US used at age 20 would forfeit American citizenship–obama would have had to then take an oath to regain citizenship.

Fascinating article. Two items in this rather good piece that stand out, are the connections between Barry and Harry Bridges and the SDS.
If the Obama family has those connections, particularly the connections with the SDS, then the FBI has a full file on Barry/family/groups associated with. Inge Powell Bell, Ph.d, Pitzer College–the Claremont Colleges, advised some of her classes(sociology)that the ratio of FBI agents to regular SDS members was approximately 1 in 3. These were undercover agents.
If these family connections are what this article says that they were, then the FBI knows who and what Barry is.

That poem of Ayers is laughable.
It looks like some of the stuff I used to do after I had consumed a fairly stout dose of a THC based product.
I would sit, alone, and spend what seemed hours at the time on a verse.
When I had it down, I would read and re read it. Marveling at my own profoundness, occasionally a tear for how wonderful it was.
The next day when I was sober, I would re read it and trash it because it made no sense, and was an insult to Poets everywhere.
I don’t think the guy has ever been straight, so he always sees his “profoundness”.

Psst, the “poem” quoted above is actually a lyric from the Randy Newman song, “A Few Words In Defense Of Our Country.” Ayers didn’t write it.
If you actually read the lyrics of the entire song (or listen to it), you will see that it is a pro-America song. He is lamenting how far we’ve strayed from our values and ideals under the Bush Administration. But like the rest of Kate’s article, she takes it out of context to make it sound ominous.

Ayers quoted this part of the song/poem, without reference to the song it was a part of, on his blog on September 10th. Go to it and see. Look at the comments. It was entirely the point of Ayer’s blog, to deride the end of America.
Yes, the song is patriotic, lamenting the loss of america. but it ends with these lyrics. Why would Bill not quote the rest of the song if he felt that way?
I think you’re right on target, Dr. Kate. While I never visited his blog, I’ve heard his remarks in classrooms and I saw his interview from 9/11. You have deduced what not everyone has found so apparent.
It’s quite obvious to some of us that there is a pattern here and the more someone makes Obama talk about it, the clearer the picture becomes. That’s why the MSM refuses to vet Obama or call him to question, they know the American people would not like what they see.
I have not seen his blog and not sure that I want to venture there. The future I see for this country is disconcerting because there are far too many people who remain under this delusion.

As someone who grew up during the Cold War, ducked under my desk at school on Wednesdays at 1:00pm when the air raid sirens (lived near a SAC airforce base) went off for practice, and lived in the shadow of being vaporized if/when the plutonium extraction and nuclear facility (one that was involved in the Manhattan Project) was to be bombed, I have NO intention of supporting Obama.
When you grow up under those shadows the mere mention of communism strikes complete fear. From the beginning Obama has been another shadow thrust onto the public by some very misguided leaders of the DNC. Dare I say their zeal borders on treason?

I was inspired by this diary, http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/9/10/191248/433, and the ensuing comments, which described Bush as a non-recovered alcoholic who will continue to inflict his behavior on America. And comments therein describing republicans and the media as enablers, a classic term in this literature on alcoholics. While there were many comments in that diary expressing concern with psychoanalyzing the President ( “Bush on the Couch” by Justin Frank), there were those comments like Roger M that both described the use of such analysis on historical political figures:
Is a well established device in history and political science. I remember once reading a similar psychoanalysis of Ataturk that was very similar. The difference was that Ataturk was a real war hero, very intelligent and very skilled.
With alcoholism in my family, I grew up around the 12-step program, and have volunteered for an addiction hotline. All along I have seen clear “isms” in Bush’s behavior. His weaknesses are typical of an alcoholic NOT in recovery. He is not unique. However, this puts the rest of us in the untenable position of dealing with someone incapable of taking responsibility for his actions (and inaction).
So, why not develop a “12 Step Agenda (Program) for American Recovery”?
If we took each of the 12 steps and examined them, we could come up with an effective Democratic strategy to help America recover from years of republican and Bush neglect, abuse, and violence.
Think about it. We’ve been on a binge–oil, profits, consumerism, me, me, and me. And like every good binge, you end up in the tank or out of it. On or off the wagon. Or something happens–usually pretty nasty– and you’re forced to deal with it, not just think about it.
Then here is a diary that presents some ideas, and asks you to add your own to the “recovery agenda”….if there is enough interest I will compile it all in one diary.
One of the 12 steps is an apology for how you have failed others and yourself–something all of us know instinctively Bush will never do. But remember the power of Richard Clarke’s testimony, when the first thing he did was apologize to the victims for the government’s failings. We could turn this into a single powerful set of images and statements that convey a new America– that pledges real recovery from the loss of every job in America, the jobs that are not there, the security you do not feel, for lives lost and destroyed because of wayward Republican fiscal, economic, social, international and military policies, for the destruction of the environment that has occurred on all of our watch (yes, the Dems must admit this too), for jeopardizing our children’s future…’
The 12 Steps and Some Initial Ideas
This is just paraphrased from a large number of 12 step programs. I’ll put some ideas up here based on my limited observations, and then lay out some potential counter-points in Step 8, where they belong. I admit in advance an energy/environment/water bias, horrified by Katrina, so I will use those as examples of where a 12-step program may be needed.
1. Admit you are powerless over your addiction, aka, your life (addiction) is out of control–you do not have the power to control what is happening around you. Some applications–oil dependency; stimulation; war; `power over’ another, inability to get out of situations (Iraq, budget deficit), inability to protect your people.
What are the difficulties/symptoms that arise during this first phase? Denial. Anger. Illusion. Disconnection. Hmm. Sound familiar?
We can easily populate the ways in which the choices of our policy makers have resulted in “mass lives out of control”, and, an “America out of control”. Do most Americans feel like they have control over their lives? Don’t forget to ask those people in New Orleans. Is Iraq under control? How about the economy? How do you feel about the future?
2. _ Come to believe that a power higher than ourselves can restore us to sanity_ aka: “right relation to God”. Of course the republicans have forgotten all that America was founded on and to get away from–religious freedom and the tyranny of King George (can this `coincidence’ be any clearer?). Now they think they own religion and openly scoff at others and of course, bomb Muslims and inflict pain on the poor and people of color.
A power higher than us is not owned by any one person or party, let alone a selfish man like Bush who has so much undeserved power over so many. And there are many paths to faith, as recognized by the Founding Fathers. There are universal truths in every faith that speak of our relationships with each other, all living things, the earth, our elders, the sick, the poor. Native religions speak a lot about our relationship with the environment, and listen when told what to do about how to live on the land. At least until that power was taken away by the U.S. because it did not acknowledge the validity of this faith, this world view, even as it “founded” America based on religious freedom.
3. Made a decision to turn ourselves over to that higher power. In my view, this is turning to our highest selves, those humanitarian values, those universal truths of our own faith, however defined, that speak to our hearts and inspire our minds and bodies to action. This is to be inspired by something other than greed, money, power, fame, position, title, or future prospects. To be inspired by a higher calling that is real democracy, for example, not this cheap-shit sell job on “democracy by bombs, voter fraud, the so-called patriot act, and neglect”.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. All the crap has to be up on the table, and I don’t think we will have much trouble populating this list. To the extent that we have co-created the mess we are in right now, we have an obligation to call out that stuff that is not true to humanitarian values, and that may not be pretty as we pull back the curtain, like the Wizard of Oz, and find out that “its” one of our own.
We’ve got examples up the you-know-what: Lieberman jumping at the chance to investigate Brown when he praised him and helped install him. Check. Proudly supported Bush’s lies on Iraq, called DSM `old news’. Check. And the DNC: currying favor with corporate America, just like the Republicans. Check. IMHO, given a choice between a Republican and a Republican, a Republican will win every time.
5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. This is the apology piece spoken of in the initial diary that inspired this one. We’ve got to deflate ego, our supposed “control over nature”, learn humility, receive forgiveness and give it. A fearless inventory means connecting all the dots…poverty, race, injustice, exploitation, greed, waste, fraud, lies, the budget, Iraq, the media. The school of hard knocks.
Heard of “peak oil’? We took all the oil and saved none for future generations. What will they think of us and our squandering ways?
How do you apologize for the wrong done to the environment, the fish, the air, the trees, the ocean, the land? You create a restoration plan for it all and direct resources there. Not create a literal smoke screen known as Clean Skies….
6. Be willing and ready to have this higher power remove these defects. Why we must keep trying, why delay is dangerous and may be fatal. There has to be a point where we abandon our limited objectives for the sake of humanity, our children, and future generations. Doesn’t our Constitution demand this?
This is the true meaning of sacrifice. If we’re going to deal with energy, we really have to prepare to sacrifice and work hard to make the transition. So, one of those questions is nuclear power. If we choose that (with emphasis on WE), we must pay more to remove those defects that made the uranium industry (cradle to grave) so dangerous.
At what point do we move on, yet be honest about what we know and not bury the sacrifice required?
7. Humbly ask this power to remove our shortcomings. Learning humility….which is primarily the need learn from our own and others’ mistakes. Understanding our weaknesses will lead us to understand our strengths.
One example of the failure of Bush to learn humility is the refusal to accept foreign aid to our country when that could have saved lives in New Orleans. He gambled with our lives and we lost. And “staying the course” in Iraq because he wants to “play cowboy and walk around like he’s a bad ass when he’s just an ass.”
8. Made of list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all. This is where our agenda comes in now. We acknowledge who has been harmed in America and reach out, and we create a plan that meaningfully addresses those harms. I am serious, people. We need people in government who are serious about public service, not feeding at the public trough. Yes, it’s a long haul. But we must transform or die.
Many on this blog have talked about needing something akin to Gingrich’s “Contract with America”. Personally I have always thought it was a contract on America. What we really need is an Agenda for the Restoration of America–like our reputation abroad, our trust in government, our ability to take care of our own, our democracy–which is in tatters like all those American flags waving from people stranded on roofs in New Orleans. That our government refused to help for days.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. An Agenda for Restoration would do that, making amends, shifting budget and policy priorities. Think of all the ways in which you would do that.
Can we make amends to Iraqi’s? Certainly not by “staying the course” which has put them in greater jeopardy. Staying there could just do them more harm. Think about the depleted uranium. How many more of our soldiers and Iraqi people are going to die before we wake up?
10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. After one of the most serious disasters in our country’s history, Bush continues to shift blame as if this is game. Can you tell what step he is on?
I always liked the idea of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission as used in South Africa, and all the mechanisms that call for re-evaluation. But we should have on-going accountability and not weaken those functions at any level. And maybe restore local and national accountability sooner than years after the incident or not at all.
11.Sought continuously to improve our conscious understanding of God as we know him, praying for the knowledge and power to carry out that larger will. Maintaining our ability to reflect, understand, and know what is going on requires much work individually, and also requires an honest media. I was going to put politicians in there but that would have been an oxymoron combined with “honest”. This is also a part of having the humility to learn and accept advice from others. This is not about pride.
Think about George Bush here. He bragged that he didn’t need AA to get out of alcohol. Well, that is the equivalent of being shown this list and skipping all the steps to this one, number 11. And because he failed to understand his ego, denial, fallacies, fantasies, lies, torture, selfishness, privilege, all these things and more, he invented what he thought God said to him (invade Iraq), made up a bunch of human lies, and opened the gates of hell.
12. Having awakened, finally, carry this message to others and practice these principles in our everyday affairs. Once you see this and awaken to how your behavior is, you can act. Mindfully. How does government practice this mindfulness? With help of course, from an informed public.
The End, and the Beginning?
Well, if you’ve made it this far, my greatest thanks. Whether 12 step applies or not to you individually, it does offer a framework if applied in larger sense to see the behavior of GWB and his enablers. We are in deep trouble, and we do need to restore our faith in each other and our country. And moving forward is the only way to do that.
If you like, you are invited to add your inventories, ideas, your suggestions for a restoring America. And if it’s too much to put here, well then, just live it!

If you want an example of a Trojan Horse candidate, please consider the McCain campaign. The packaging says Reform, Prosperity, Peace; the contents are the same damn republican foreign and domestic policies we’ve seen in action for the last 8 years–which have been the antithesis of reform, prosperity, and peace. What those policies have given us are free-ranging greed unrestrained by sensible regulation, a blameless middle and working class circling the drain, and a pointless war that’s already cost us over half-a-trillion in borrowed dollars. In what sense is a continuation of those same republican policies actually putting Country First? Looking past the rhetoric to actual McCain policies, there’s not much real change to be found. What we find is more of the same.
In light of all of that, it seems utterly absurd to posit “A Profound Lack of Respect for America” based upon the slender evidence of a missing flag lapel pin or the paint on a campaign jet. Obama has articulated a real change in direction and an actual change in outlook, both at home and abroad. The news of the day suggests such is needed in the worst sort of way.

That you began your article with the treasonous terrorist William Ayers, son of Thomas, who aids and abets all things authoritarian in Illinois and anywhere else, is perfect. This narrative is about carrying “a single image of my father, one that I tried to take as my own….the father of my dreams…full of high-blown ideals….It was into my father’s image…that I packed all the attributes I sought in myself.” (pp. 220, 278, 230)
Obama’s Father was an anti-democratic, marxist socialist allied with Odinga Odinga (Luo tribe, “Communism is like food to me”) against pro-Western Jomo Kenyatta (Kikuyus tribe) in a bloody Kenyan struggle. Odinga and Obama, Sr., lost that round, but Obama, Sr., made his views clear — there are “universal desires of societies” that permits their interpreters to tax all wealth up to 100%, confiscate private property, communalize land, nationalize industries and businesses, and force people from passivity into an active program to do the work determined by “society’s desires”. (Now Raila Odinga, son of Odinga, is attempting to do something very similar in a monstrously bloody way under the label Sharia Law, aided and abetted a few years ago by Obama, Jr., both of the Luo tribe.)
In terms of men who have been like fathers to Obama — marxist Grandfather Stanley Dunham, Hawaiian Communist Mentor Frank Marshall Davis, radical-terrorist William Ayers, and black nationalist Rev. Jeremiah Wright — all are vehement, anti-democratic socialists of one form or another, all hate whiteness, and all are anti-American.
I think it also is important that we notice another quality of this presidential candidate: his visible hatred of Hillary Clinton and the visceral panic and attack when Sarah Palin was named McCain’s VP. All women should begin to understand just how much venom this man has stored up for successful white women (Grandmother, Mother) and all mothers. You will be forced from “your passivity” into the “activity” Obama has planned for you. The vicious leftist misogyny of his campaign (found in the SDS of the 1960s) is hidden behind support for abortion and his “sexy” ways. (Besides, if abortion is an absolute right, men do not have any worry about spreading their seed.)
Finally, isn’t it strange that Obama’s sexuality is so hidden in his past, especially when proud, perverse sexuality is part and parcel of leftist destruction of middle-class, democratic, family-oriented America? Frank Marshall Davis, at least, practiced what he preached.

If you look closely the country has been steadily marched toward One WOrld Government since the “Intervention” of kinnling Kennedy. First Nixon (Takes us of the gold standard), then Carter was blamed for high interest and host of other bad things to allow Reagan/Bush I whoe eliminated tax deductions for all interest except Mortgage interest, Then Clinton passed Nafta and that giant sucking sound of jobs going out of the USA., Then Bush II moved things into high gear to virtually eliminate the ability of anyone that has to work for a living to become somehat financially independent. If you really look at it there has been a concerted effort to gain full controll via multiple “parties” for a very long time. Race and Class warfare has been the tool used to divert attention from what has really been going on. It matters not that Obama or MaCain is the focal point person The USA will be changed dramatically ove the next few years. Notice the World coordination on the financial crisis. There will be a solution that involves a new common currency that may be called the dollar or World Dollar or some other name and controlled by a common central entity. While Democrats aren’t perfect, the Republican party needs to clean up their act. With supporters at McCain/Palin rallies yelling for Obama’s death, the right needs to show some respect to the political process of this country.

The world has changed and we our losing our power just like the UK did–they couldn’t afford it. Now we have a $10 Trillion dollar debt, $1 Trillion deficit, and little oil in the ground–so how long are we going to be a leader in the world?

I really wish Ron Paul was on the ballot, but the GOP would never want him as he is for upholding the Constitution and neither of the two major parties in the Two Party Tyranny will ever stand for such a thing.
However, while I’ve been afraid of what W has done and what he might do during the closing months of this last term of his, I have never been as afraid of any American politician as I am of Obama. I firmly believe that if Obama wins the election, either through fraud or a genuine victory in which American suckers hand power to the man, tens of millions of Americans will die, either in gulags or at the hands of NKVD style death squads.
McCain might not be much of an improvement over George W Bush, and many people don’t see how things could get worse, but they can easily get worse! Obama stands for change, and it is worth noting that a totalitarian communist regime of misery and death qualifies as change! Change can be for the worse, and often is for the worse!
Obama, if given great power and authority over the masses, will prove to be more destructive than Josef Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, Robert Mugabe, and Idi Amin, combined. He is not somebody who can be trusted with any sort of power over the masses, especially the American masses. His entire life has proven that he has nothing but disdain and contempt for the citizens of the United States of America.
Those who wish to lead a revolution seldom desire to set you free, they wish to become your new master! After eight years of the loss of personal freedoms and rights under Bush, preceded by eight years of similar things under Clinton, many Americans have become ready to look anywhere for answers. I always wondereed how there could possibly be so many people who were confused and mis-informed that they would vote for George Bush twice. I am ashamed of the people in our country too…Does that make me a terrorist left radical. Perhaps he has been around a crowd of real people who struggle to find the greatness in our country as they cannot even take their kids to a doctor or feed them dinner. This has nothing to do with race. I am an educated white woman who has been angry with this country my whole life. I wouldnt care what you label the government with as long as it provided for each and every member without whining from the rich. I am a teacher at a school where the children come to school on freezing days in raggedy tshirts and whatever their parents can afford. I have been in the position where as I was paying my way through college, I couldnt afford health insurance and was not accepted due to preconditions. Things do need to change including our warped views of what the world is about. There is a lot of anger in this world and I am not afraid of someone who acknowledges it and walks with his eyes open to everyone. He will be able to protect us better than someone who cannot even see past his imaginary war victory in Iraq. McCain is an angry hateful person with no morals and I am so angry with the people of this country for being so narrow minded.

Obama is “Socialist” as per you, so why are Republicans and McCain trying to push the $700 Billion package? With this package aren’t they “socializing” risk. Shouldn’t they let these multi billion companies fend for themselves in a true “Capitalist” manner?

The high gasoline prices were not brought upon the American people by anything the Bush administration has done. The high prices were caused by the misinformed lobbyists that has blocked drilling, both off-shore and on land they consider best suited for endangered species. He does not have, and he never had, a US birth certificate.
He does not have, nor has he ever had, a birth record in Hawaii or any other state or US territory.
In lieu of a real COLB, a scan was made from someone’s real 2007 Hawaiian COLB and graphically altered with bogus birth record information, and this image was claimed to be Obama’s original birth certificate by Fight the Smears, the Daily Kos, and FactCheck websites. This single, forged image still appears on these websites, using three copies that vary only in size and resolution.
The photos posted on FactCheck.org are also bogus. They were made from composite images that combined the Seal from the source COLB blended into printouts of the forged COLB.
Regardless of how it gets played, double fraud has been committed in the creation of a phony document image and the promulgation of it as a genuine document image intended to defraud and disenfranchise the American voter.

This was an interesting article when I first read it and again when it just popped up on a google search. Why is it some of us called it BEFORE the election and some just swallowed gallons of Kool-aide?
