Open Thread! Financial Crisis Disrupts Campaign [Update]

This afternoon Senator John McCain announced he was halting his campaign, suspending ads, requesting delay in Friday’s debate, and returning to Washington tomorrow to help address the financial crisis in the Senate. Senator Obama has claimed “me too” but only in timing. He still wants to hold Friday’s debate as schedule. The unfolding events today are fast paced and will continue so during the next few hours. How they both response deserves close scrutiny.
